Monday, Sept. 19, 2022, Behr, our very large 11 year old Golden-doodle was limping badly on his back leg. We checked for cuts or thorns, but saw none. The Veterinarian we normally use said that he was completely booked that Monday and told us to call back on Tuesday Morning. We did and they still could not give us a time, once again. Our dog was in a lot of pain and we needed to have him seen asap. So that is when I called Dr. Lowenstein’s office and was told that even though it was almost closing time, we should bring him in that same afternoon. When Dr. L. examined him he yelped loudly and she decided to do his X-rays under anesthesia as to not put him in any more pain. My husband and I agreed and the X-rays were done that next morning. When we picked him up in the afternoon he was still quite groggy and did not seem to know us. That was Wednesday. (Being fair in color we assumed that Behr was extra sensitive to the Anesthetic (sort of like the people in our human family). Dr. L did some research and was told that it might be possible. She called us back to let us know that she was doing everything to find out …even going on a Chat with other Veterinarians. On Thursday Dr. L. did “an injection flush procedure” to help get the Anesthetic out of Behr’s system. Dr. L called and told us everything we needed to do including keeping him well Hydrated even if it meant giving him Watermelon, which dearly he loves. Slowly that procedure began helping, though he was not 100 % yet. We kept watch over him day and night and he actually started really perking up by Friday, thank goodness, as Dr. L was going to be out of town. That evening we were anxious to see how he would react when our Grandchildren, whom he adores, arrived. Talk about perking up. Yes he did! Over the weekend Behr was becoming more and more like himself… By Monday he was almost 100% back to normal. Dr. Lowenstein told us that Medication that she was prescribing could help Behr and as he was experiencing hip pain due to his age and size. It has been over a week since they took the X-rays and we began his medication. This entire time, the Doctor and her staff have been calling to see how Behr was doing. My husband and I really appreciate all that Dr. Lowenstein and her Staff have done to help our Behr. We cannot thank them enough and will definitely be recommending Dr. Lowenstein and her Staff at Braescroft Animal Clinic. Sincerely Teri and Lennie
My sheltie is almost a year old and Dr. Lowenstein and her wonderful staff at Braescroft Animal Clinic have been wonderful as they've coached me through the care and training of a puppy. Always caring. Always knowledgeful. Always professional. Earlier reviews: Getting my new puppy off to a great start with Dr. Lisa Lowenstein and her wonderful caring team. The same people who comforted both my ancient rescue collie and me when it was time to let her go, welcomed my new baby sheltie with "small clinic, big heart" attention. I was offered assistance getting her in and out of the car. . [I'm a senior person with some mobility issues and BAC is great at accommodation.] I especially appreciate the nutritional advice! and the time spent answering all my questions. And the one dose at a time, heartworm/flea meds because the baby is growing. They think of everything and offer perfect solutions. My puppy got her very first treat, a teensy tiny milk bone and a bite of spray cheese. She loves this place. FIVE STARS! FIVE PAWS.! ALWAYS! UPDATE: I'm editing this review because, while every visit to Braescroft Animal Clinic with Dr. Lowenstein and her wonderful staff is a good one, the management of the requirements for CoVid-19 safety deserves noting. Curb side drop off (masked and distanced) was perfect. Consultation via cell phone. My colliie loves to visit her friends there. Built on trust, whatever the situation. My review from 6 years ago: We have been using Braescroft Animal Clinic for a couple of decades; first for our house rabbits and then for a couple of cats that insisted on adopting us. For the last ten years, they have helped us care for our dearly loved rescue sheltie. The facility is always clean and well equipped. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and competent. Dr. Lisa Lowenstein is always aware of new developments, best practices, and treatment standards. She is an excellent diagnostician and a competent surgeon. She is passionate about good nutrition and is a true expert. (My background as a medical librarian as well as an informed pet owner enables me to be an accurate judge of her expertise.) Dr. Lowenstein takes the time to communicate clearly with her clients. Our Miss Mandy Whitepaws enjoys her visits as do we. The convenient Meyerland/Westbury location is also a plus.
First visit went well and they seemed to actually care….however after going there for multiple visit they seem to be more interested in making money. I let them know upfront about my tight budget and they let me know that they would keep me in the loop if any additional testing was required. When I go to pick up my pet it ends up being way more than originally quoted because they did additional testing that I did not approve of, and I wouldn’t have approved of if I had been made aware. I continued to give them a chance, as mistakes do happen however they now are trying to charge me for two urine examination back to back, when I had just gotten a clean urine exam two weeks ago. I would be extremely weary of coming here if you are money conscious, as they not only charged me for something unauthorized but also tried to charge me twice in a row for a exam that I did not need since the first one was clean. Update: I agree, there has definitely been a miscommunication. When I got there to drop off a urine sample, I had asked the front desk to give me a reasoning for the test because I was confused with just having had a clean one done having to pay for another. They couldn’t give me an answer and had me wait 15 minutes to be a vet tech would call to discuss. I didn’t receive a call till later in the evening from you, the doctor then telling me the results. I never once denied paying for a test. I only had been waiting for a call with the test reasoning first. It was during that phone call that you had mentioned to me for the first time you found urine in a test you did around 2 weeks ago. However when giving the results you just mentioned the elevated blood sugar. I definitely don’t appreciate you now lying about the circumstances, but hope that there has been only a miscommunication between you and the front desk.
We recently moved to this clinic after giving up on driving our cats to our old vet at a further location. We also got a puppy, so I needed something more convenient for the frequent visits. Honestly, I’m so glad we made the switch! For starters, the staff is super friendly and welcoming. They took the time to socialize with me (and my animals), and have been good about calling regarding their status after a visit. It is always a pleasant experience to visit the clinic. I have also been very happy with our vet, Dr. Lisa Lowenstein. She has been incredibly helpful with our transition into puppy parenting, from helping with his his recent cold (and reassuring me when I was feeling nervous about it) to suggesting collar and treat options. She is knowledgeable, and really takes the time to explain her thinking when answering my questions. Lastly, I love that the clinic is small and cozy- it feels family run and I don’t feel like just a number when I’m there. I would absolutely recommend Braescroft Animal Clinic to friends and family.
I've had only positive experiences at Braescroft for the past year! They treat my beloved cat, Luna, with a lot of love and care and put her wellbeing first. I feel safe taking Luna there and entrusting this clinic with her health. For instance, when Luna had a negative reaction to the rabies vaccine (not the first time she had gotten the vaccine, so we think the reaction was just a result of her getting older), they immediately had me bring her back in for a complementary visit. They gave her some additional meds and some fluids to make sure she stayed hydrated since the negative reaction involved lethargy and not eating, and by the time we got back home, Luna was back to normal. The following year, they gave her the meds at the same time as the vaccine and she did not have any negative reaction this time around. They were also wonderful about treating an infection that caused diarrhea by giving her a prescription for food to help her through it while her irritated digestive system healed. It worked wonders.
I was one of those people who thought cleaning teeth on dogs was a waste of time and money! Well I was proven wrong. Tinkerbell who is around 8 years old was a very slow eater and never chewed anything, we had to stand over her while she ate so the other four dogs would not take her food. One day I decided to check her teeth and saw there was a plaque build up so I thought we’ll I better have her teeth checked out. I had them cleaned and not only that but she had a tumor in her mouth that had to be removed. That evening after surgery (even with stitches) she inhaled her food and finished before Buzz ( who inhales his food daily). She is a totally different dogs and she seems to have gained years in life. My biggest regret was not having the teeth cleaned sooner. Please don’t wait, check your dogs teeth regularly as they can’t tell us they are in pain. Both Vets and all their staff are thoughtful, kind, knowledgeable and caring people. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Wish I had found them sooner.
I just can not say enough about this place! I happened upon them by chance. My dog was in a pretty bad situation and had to have energancy care at a animal hospital. The next day she needed to be observed by a vet for the day before I could take her home. Our regular vet could not provide the care she needed so I set to google. This place had great reviews and agreed to take Carrie for the day. I felt completely comfortable leaving her there. The vet listened to all of my concerns and even educated me more about carries situation. When I picked her up she made sure I had everything I needed to make Carrie's home care easier. She really took her time explaining what to watch out for and what to expect. The next morning she called me to check on Carrie. When I was worried and needed to get her back in we were taken right back. This place is awesome. From the receptionist to the technicians to thd vet. I will continue to bring Carrie here!
These guys are awesome. I took my poor little Milo there after 4 other vets, none of whom helped, they could have just taken a look to know...which is what the vet @ Braescroft did. She was the only one who bothered to look at him and shoot it to me straight. I needed to make a decision...and quickly, for his sake. They put him down for me quickly, which, in my heart I knew was the best thing. They were great about it. I will be bringing my other pup there from this point forward. I used to go to another clinic in the area, Bellaire-Richmond Pet Hospital, buy ever since all the old guys quit and they remodeled, it's just not the same (for me). There's just not that 'human touch' @ Bellaire-Richmond, but Braescroft has it. Not to mention Bellaire-Richmond went up exorbitantly on their prices. Please, do your pets a favor, & go to Braescroft Animal Clinic. ❤️
For the love of dog, (and any other creature you cherish) bring your pet here. I love the Braescroft Animal Clinic! I've been sick with Covid and my Curby baby lay at my side thru my fever and weaknesses. After two weeks of being unwell and once finally back on my feet, while grooming Curby I noticed my pretty spaniel was no longer laying at my side just having sympathy pains for my misery but he also had an ear infection. Curby was due for his annual exam and shots as well and I promptly called Braescroft and warned them I had limited funds - only $150 - as I've been making multiple doctor visits for myself. Braescroft addressed the immediate need of indeed an ear infection packing his ear, sending me home with meds and even trimmed his nails and hair. Dr. Lisa and staff are stellar!! They are compassionate, thorough, warm and welcoming.
I went here because its closest to my house and I could tell my dog needed help asap. But sadly my 6 y/o bulldog Danny, who I love like my child, died 10 minutes after leaving this clinic. The 1.5 hr / $600 visit ( irrelevant) revealed no obvious problems. My boys heart stopped beating while sitting in their waiting room and he became unresponsive...no real panic ensued but he was revived miraculously at the last minute. My dog became unstable very rapidly..we walked in together but I had to carry him out. I feel we were blown off. There was no great urgency to help or any sign of compassion to speak of. No real desire to help.... Only suggestions on other vets in which I could take him. My dog died in my car on the way to the another clinic....I only wish I would have made a better choice for my boy in the first place.
I've been going here for at least ten years. They have excellent service and they've cared well for my dogs and cats. My Boston Terrier had cherry eye surgery done on his right eye 5 years ago by Dr. Lowenstein and it's been fine ever since. He developed cherry eye in his left eye 2 years ago and I never had it fixed. I finally decided to get it done last October. I made the mistake of shopping the price and going with someone less expensive. Big mistake!!! It didn't hold and they wanted to charge me full price to redo the tuck. I came back to Braescroft and they fixed it. The third eyelid tuck is holding up nicely now! It cost me more having to do two surgeries than it would have if I'd just come here in the first place. I highly recommend this clinic. They care for your pets as if they are part of their own family.
My dearest friend had to help her princess Betty Blue to the rainbow bridge on Friday after 18 years together. She sent me a photo of that sweet girl just after she left us. Of course the first thing I looked at was Betty, but after a moment I noticed the comforter that Betty was lying on. I lost my 4 years old boy Toulouse to cancer in late last year. He was a gift from my friend, Betty's human momma. Betty was lying on the comforter that Toulouse passed on. It belonged to my great-grandmother. It was amazing the proof that life itself goes in such a perfect circle. It touched my heart so much to see Dr. Lowenstein and staff using that same blanket to give comfort to families that are in such pain. This is probably the best veterinary clinic in the Country. Thank you so much! You are all amazing. Melissa Snelling
For many years I've taken my much loved furries to Braescroft Animal Clinic: 2 cats, a Sheltie, and 2 Collies. My dogs love the clinic and all the staff and techs are friends. I love Dr. Lowenstein's expertise and her sincere concern for the animals I love and for me. Her expertise re. animal nutrition is a huge resource. Her pharmaceutical knowledge has saved me money. BAC offers a Petly Plan which covers most regular care and lets me spread costs rather than getting hit by a large bill.. Seeing a vet regularly means that my dogs and I have a "relationship" with a vet and her staff so that dealing with emergencies or unexpected situations is much easier. I highly recommend Braescroft Animal Clinic not only for their professional expertise but for their kindness.
Our Annie started itching so badly just as the stay-home order was rolling out, and her vet’s office is farther since we moved, so I found the closest vet with more than 4 stars and found Braescroft Animal Clinic, Dr. Lowenstein. She and her team couldn’t have given Annie (us) better treatment. The doctor and staff were gentle, complimentary of Annie’s strengths. They were quick but thorough in treatment for Annie’s itching, good questions asked, good advice received. The doctor called us to personally check up on Annie’s recovery after four days once her meds had a chance to show improvement. Then we received a handwritten thank you note with well wishes from each of the staff. Our girl’s all better, and Annie has a new forever vet :)
I highly recommend Braescroft Animal Clinic. The staff is friendly, professional, and very attentive. We received follow up calls, and no wait time with appointments. Dr. Lowenstein removed a tumor growing on our 12 YO Boxer, and we received a hand written thank you note a few days later. Who writes hand written notes these days? Just one of the reasons we love Braescroft AC. Dr. Lowenstein talks to you as a professional, she is compassionate, honest and thorough. Her staff, Vicki, is who we have interacted with the most, are just as compassionate, and truly love what they do. Dr. Lowenstein has had the same staff for many years and it's obvious they all love what they do!
After $500 I have no answers to my questions. The initial visit was very informative and thorough but the follow-up left me with more questions than answers and the vet was in and out in less than 5 mins. It seems like they're more concerned about scheduling many follow-ups for the money and the moment I told them my dog was going back home out of town, they completely lost interest. Update: they told the city about the dog I took here even when I told them she's not my dog or lives in Houston, I was just doing my brother a favor. Now I have to deal with the City of Houston charging me to register her.
I imagine that for their clients with an appt, they are pleasant according to the reviews and rating. I drove my friend here this morning because her dog was suffering from heatstroke and the Latina at the front desk had the I don't like my job attitude we are fully booked today and that's that. Like, ask if you can look for an appointment, to accommodate, to open up a conversation. How can I help? Or get another job if it's too much to be in an environment like that and have no empathy. The way she spoke actually made me sick to my stomach. Rude. Don't go here without an appt.....
When I moved to Houston over 5 years ago, the first vet I tried was Braescroft Animal Clinic because they were located very close. I was very impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. I have a cocker spaniel, now almost 13 years old, and two cats, one is 11 1/2 and the other around 8 years who was recently given to me by my daughter. Dr. Lowenstein pays attention to not just the physical aspects of their health but the psychological as well. The office staff is friendly and helpful. I am very satisfied with their services. .
Dr. Lowenstein and the staff at Braescroft animal clinic are wonderful and so caring for my pup! They are so helpful and provide reasonable guidance about the diagnosis and treatment options and they are so kind to always follow up to see how my fur baby is doing after a procedure. They have been with me from adoption day all the way through senior care and have been caring and compassionate at every stage. Even though I moved from the neighborhood I still make the drive to their office because they are my trusted provider!
I took one of my bunnies there to be spayed. The doctor spayed her and asked if she could PUNCTURE her LUNG with a 30% CHANCE of DEATH! She was put on medication for a week. It turned out she didn’t need the medicine. She was recently diagnosed with Developing GI Stasis. Her intestines are coming out and she has gas in her stomach because her stitches were loose. She may have done it or the doctor didn’t make them tight enough. She is now on 3 medications, may die, and has surgery soon.
I took our 12 yr lab here due to a skin irritation. The doctor was very nice and professional and most importantly, conducted the correct tests, diagnosed correctly and prescribed the correct meds. I went here after visiting 2 other clinics that did not accurately diagnose the issue and prescribed the wrong meds. The follow up visits were fairly priced and receiving renewed prescriptions has been easy and smooth. The whole staff is great and justifies all the 5 start reviews. Thanks!
Dr. Rubenstein is amazing!! Her staff is amazing too!! I have been going to the same Vet clinic for years and became disappointed in a new Doctor there. I felt that my dog wasn’t getting the care that she needed and diagnosed. Dr. Rubenstein took a new approach in getting to the bottom of what steps to take to get my dog healthy and solve issues that she has been having. My dog and I are blessed to find a wonderful Doctor and clinic staff. Thank you so much
I've had dogs for over 40 years, and have had about 7 vets over the years. I have never been as happy as I am with this Animal Clinic and Dr. Lowenstein. Dr. Lowenstein diagnosed my dogs disease that was not detected by 2 other vets in the past. She is so intuitive and thorough! The staff is very welcoming and knew my dogs and me by my second visited. I heard about her from my son who has gone to her for years, and I couldn't be happier with this new find!
I have nothing but amazing things to say about this clinic, Dr. Lowenstein and the staff. I have an anxious and sometimes aggressive German shepherd who they took in with open arms and made me feel so comfortable with every issue. Lisa the vet tech has built a great relationship with my dog and it makes each visit that much easier. Alex at the front desk is polite and works with my crazy schedule to get me in. Thank you Braescroft animal clinic.
Dr. Lowenstein is a very knowledgeable, proactive, kind, and responsive veterinarian. I trust her judgement completely, and I am confident that she has the best interest of my two Pekingese boys at heart. All of the staff members are friendly, funny, engaging, and kind, and they obviously love what they do. I and my family have taken our pets to Braescroft Animal Clinic for 40 years. I would not trust anyone else to care for my pets.
Braescroft Animal Clinic has been our vet clinic for 30+ years. The office staff and Dr Lowenstein are all very warm, caring and engaged with your pet. They remember personal details of your pet and genuinely love all animals. When necessary, they will refer you to other clinics for specialty services, but always follow up to see what the results are and to ask about your pet's health. We highly recommend Braescroft Animal Clinic!
I have been going to this veterinary clinic since 1997 from the days of Dr. Godin to the present with Dr. Lowenstein. The staff are friends and have been with me through the excitement of welcoming a new four-legged family member to the heartbreak of losing a beloved pet. Dr. Lowenstein's expertise and thoroughness in her care of my dogs has been one of the many reasons I continue to go here for all my vet care.
I recently switched to this clinic due to consistent poor customer service at my previous vet. From the first phone call to Peppers first annual appointment with them…they were warm, welcoming and very friendly! The vet listened to my concerns and shared ideas and insight. Pepper loved her and the tech, they both made her feel welcomed & safe, which is all I can ask for. Very glad to have made the switch!
Dr Lowestein is a wonderful Vet she has taken care of two of my pets she treats them like they are her own she is really caring and she does everything she can to keep my pets healthy, my dog Romeo adores her when he hears her voice he goes nuts! We never have to wait long and all the ladies that work there are so nice and caring too! I have been seeing her for about 10 years she is really Awesome!
I love this clinic. Everyone is super friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. Dr. Lowenstein takes her time, explains everything in detail, and you DON"T get out unless you understand. My Bandit is going in for a teeth cleaning soon and I look forward to seeing everyone there. You know, I am getting old and cranky.......I may just get a distemper shot for myself while I am there. It couldn't hurt!
The staff is so friendly and very attentive. I’ve called for copies of vaccinations to be faxed here or emailed there and they’re on it. Dr Lowenstein is very knowledgeable and loving to my dogs. I’m very happy there. Recently my oldest dog was experiencing kidney failure. Dr Lowenstein explained, comforted and counseled me on how to proceed. I trust her fully with my fur babies for everything
I've been taking my dogs to Braescroft Animal Clinic for years. I appreciate the fact that my dogs enjoy going to the office I also appreciate the fact that Dr. Lowenstein uses an office visit to educate about pet care and how to keep my dogs healthy. The staff are warm and welcoming and seem to enjoy their jobs and the dogs aren't afraid of them. I highly recommend Braescroft Animal Clinic.
Braescroft Animal Clinic has been our Vet for years, we typically visit Dr Lowenstein and have been delighted with the level of care for Chester, there have been many before him, but Chester is the current dog of our heart. The attention and care from everyone, staff, Vet Tech and Dr Lowenstein has surpassed our needs and expectations. I would recommend Braescroft to any of my friends.
We’ve been going to Braescroft Animal Clinic for over 15 years. Dr. Lowenstein & her staff are top notch. They are so knowledgeable & professional in caring for our dog, even working him in for urgent care. Our dog always goes in with a wagging tail because he knows he’ll get hugs & treats! Fortunate to have such a great partner in keeping our pup healthy. Thank you all!
My husband and our Shih Tzu Murphy and I all love Braescroft Animal Clinic! Dr. Lowenstein and her staff are caring, compassionate, very knowledgeable, and sharp. The doctor helped us to completely resolve Murphy’s digestive problems, as well as worked with us on his anxiety. We highly recommend Braescroft Animal Clinic to anyone looking for an outstanding veterinarian.
After losing my veterinarian of 25 years I was not sure I would be happy with anyone else. The staff at Braescroft could not be friendlier. With six inside animals, it isn't always easy managing appts. etc. They have worked with me to meet my needs and have shown compassion every step of the way. I feel really lucky that a neighbor recommended Dr. Lisa Lowenstein to me.
My first time here and I was very impressed. The front staff was very helpful and engaging. The doctor came out and introduced herself and met my dog Mikey. He was there for a physical and booster shot and the doctor called me (didn't text me) to let me know that he was very healthy but needed some dental work done. I will certainly schedule that work with this group.
We have been clients of Braescroft Animal Clinic since 1992 and have had 9 animals as patients there. The staff is always super pleasant and incredibly helpful! And we love Dr. Lowenstein. She's wonderful at explaining options, details, and most importantly listening to what our concerns are and to provide compassionate, quality care for all of our animals.
Very friendly staff with people and pets. Attuned to people and animals needs. Dr. Lowenstein is very helpful in answering questions and concerns. She is very calm and takes her time with her patients and their family. Offers treatment options depending on financial resources. Highly recommend if you are looking for an intimate, friendly place for pet care.
We love Braesecroft Animal Clinic! My little dog can be difficult to deal with when she’s in an unfamiliar or uncomfortable situation. The staff are always so gentle and take such good care of her. Dr. L always takes time to answer all of my questions and makes sure I understand any instructions for care at home. Overall, excellent clinic.
20/10! They treated my puppy (Laila ) so nice. Staff is very friendly! Felt welcomed when i walked in! It was my first time and def wont be my last time Anybody hesitating to come here, do it! you wont regret it. Already told my family members to bring their pets here as well. I live 5 min away from here so i got very lucky!
very professional.... Our dog immediately felt at ease and the Doctor took her and immediately our dog reacted to the Vet who was talking to her. We now have taken our other dog to the Braescroft Animal Clinic and had he same experience with her. Both dogs are now doing well and again are happy and know that they are loved. margarette j.
When my fur-baby is having a problem, the clinic works with me to get him in as soon as possible. After seeing Dr. Lowenstein, she always calls me with his test results and to consult about his care. She exhibits compassion for the animal as well as the owner. I would recommend her to anyone that loves their pet as much as I love mine!
Dr. Lowenstein and the entire staff are absolutely AMAZING! They are professional and compassionate to my dog Lady. Dr. Lowenstein is always available and willing to answer any questions, big or small. Their facility is clean and pet friendly. If I could have given more stars I would have. Thank you all for giving Lady great care!
We have been taking our two cats to the clinic for seven years. We’ve been through illness and aging with the clinic, and the doctors and staff truly care about our kitties and our family. They know their stuff and are kind. They truly go above and beyond. I’ve referred the clinic to my mom, who now also relies on them for vet care.
Our former vet is no longer in practice and even before we were patients here, I called for advice on a Friday, was able to care for my dog over the weekend and got a Monday morning appointment. Everyone was wonderful and although Violet has to have a minor surgery I came out of there feeling we had found our new veterinary home.
Me and my Boston Terrier moved from New Orleans to Houston looking for a veterinarian My neighbor told me to go to Braescroft Animal Clinic which was the best Decisions I could have made they are very Professional and they take great care of my Boss. Dr. Lisa lowenstein very nice and her staff very Professional Thanks …
I took my three month German shepherd pup, Rocky, here who was very sick when I adopted him and they saved his life. The cost was reasonable and the service was insanely top notch. I was able to call them and they answered immediately and remembered who my pup was and his condition. Thank you Braescroft Animal Clinic!
We took our new puppy to Dr. Lowenstein at Braescroft Animal Clinic and were so pleased with her care! She took extra time with my son to teach him how to safely interact with a dog, and see if he had any questions for her - I was so impressed with that! The staff was so welcoming and helpful to us as new pet owners.
Dr. Lowenstene and staff were very kind and helpful with one of our K9’s in an emergency situation. Even though I would never expect them to get one of our pups in so quickly in a regular situation, they were so compassionate and kind, explained everything carefully and took care of our K9 like a hero. Thank you!!
My dogs have received veterinary care at Braescroft Animal Clinic for years. As my husband and I think about our experiences with Dr. Lowenstein and her staff we think about the thoroughness of the care they provide, their readiness to assist, and the extremely warm manner in which they have always done so.
The one we trust! Our go to vet. Doc Lowenstein is amazing, knowledgeable and what she may not have the answer for, she's eager to learn and teach us. We are truly blessed and grateful to have Doc Lowenstein and Doc Graham down the street and accessible to care for our working dogs and personal pets.
This was our first time coming to this clinic. I love how it’s in our neighborhood for quick easy access. Everyone was extremely sweet, helpful and informative. I can tell that everyone is doing their job because they love animals and customer service. This will be our forever veterinary home!
We have been going to Braescroft Animal Clinic since 1993. They have been taking great care of our cats. My wife and I like them so much, that we still use them even though we have moved about 10 miles away to another city. They have always been warm, friendly, and caring about our cats.
Dr. Lowenstein and her staff are always friendly and responsive. We've trusted them to take good care of our cats for a decade now, and have the utmost confidence in her skills as a veterinarian. Anyone who lives anywhere nearby should strongly consider using Braescroft Animal Clinic.
The staff at the front desk are always professional and very helpful. Dr. Lowenstein is knowledgeable, caring , insightful and very practical. My dog actually loves going to the vet! My cats get great care , love and attention and would love going if not for the ride in the car!
I was very satisfied with this my 1st visit for my pug, Bruno. The vet gave him a new patient checkup. Since we cannot go in the clinic at this time, the vet was Thorough with details of his condition and recommendations. Their pricing is reasonable. I will be going back.
Super great vet clinic. Dr. Lowenstein cared for my dog until he passed. She is very knowledgeable and is very empathic in caring for pets. The support team is amazing with their compassion for pets. They did a super job comforting us when it was time our dog to pass on.
Dr. Lisa Lowenstein and her staff are AMAZING! I have been coming here for over 15 years with all of my pets. If you want the best recommendations of options and service for your pets you have come to the right place. Lisa has compassion for your pets till the very end.
I love the staff at Braescroft and doctor Lowenstein. Been going there for years and can’t imagine trusting my animals with anyone else. They saved my 5 day old kitties life whom had to be bottle fed and required lots of care and is now nine years old. They are amazing.
The Virus has affected the way they do business. But they have very knowledgeable staff and can take care of your pet's needs by phone, by curbside for the pet parent and their normal care for the pet. I like this office and the staff and have used them for many years.
Everyone at Braescroft Animal Clinic is very professional and friendly. They always treat my puppy as if she was there own and the Doctor is always willing to speak on the phone if I have any questions. I am very happy I have such a great Vet so close to my house.
Braescroft is a small, warm and welcoming clinic. Everyone there is so nice, including the front desk staff, the techs, and Dr. Lowenstein - they sincerely love animals. My elderly little cat gets great care, and everyone is so sweet to him. Give it a try!
We have used Braescroft Animal Clinic for 40 years. Four beloved dogs and two cats have been treated with kindness and expert care over those 40 years. Although we don't have a pet currently, we would recommend their services to anyone in the neighborhood.
Although I had a long established relationship with another vet, when I found a puppy that had major health issues, Dr. Lowenstein was able to see her right away. For veterinarian services other than true emergency care, you won't find better in Houston.
We were quite pleased that we could park our sick cat and be professionally treated for a few days as we had already a sick person. The clinic took quick care and found the problem with our dear animal. He is now at home and recovering on a daily basis.
A short time ago I changed over to the Braescroft Animal Clinic and am very glad I did. The staff of the clinic welcomed me and my newly adopted cat and provided great care and advice. Bella cat and owner, I Ursula Kaestner , know we are in good hands.
Braescroft has some very knowledgeable and caring veterinarians. The front desk is always willing to help and work around customers’s busy schedules. They take special care for pound-traumatized animals. They are the only place we trust our baby with.
Dr. Lowestein and her staff have always taken amazing care of my now 15 y/o dog. We've been through a few scary moments and her the whole team has always gone above and beyond to care for us and our loved dog. Couldn't recommend them highly enough!
Always a great experience, from the long-term, friendly staff to Dr. Lowenstein, who treats my dogs with TLC that is genuine. She has a huge heart, and takes the time to explain everything. An exceptional veterinary practice, highly recommend.
All of these folks at the Clinic are terrific. They've always done right by me, very professional and efficient. If it tells you anything, know that of all the businesses in the area, the Braescroft Clinic is the only company I do business
We changed clinics recently and the staff at Braescroft has been very responsive in the care of my elderly dog. They have gone above and beyond. They even called me to see how my dog was doing on the new medication. That means a lot to me.
I have been taking my pets to Braescroft Animal Clinic for over 15 years. Dr. Lowenstein and her staff always treat my critters and me with kindness and cheerful attitudes, even during this pandemic. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else.
Braescroft Animal Clinic is highly recommended! The whole staff is so nice , helpful and very professional. The doctors are very informative and thorough. They spend time with you and explain everything in detail making sure you
I switched to this clinic about 2 months ago, and it has been great. The vet and technicians at Braescroft are always very nice and helpful. They have made courtesy calls to check in on my dogs and answered a million questions.
Really friendly people. They're not our regular vet. We don't live in the States but we're trapped here due to the pandemic. We've been to this clinic twice now dealing with our pets and the staff has been nothing but smiles.
We love Dr. Lowenstein! The staff and doctors are always helpful, truly care about our fur-babies, and adjust schedules to see them. We highly recommend! We tried multiple clinics in the area, and this is by far the best.
Dr. Lowenstein and her staff are an amazing team. They are all so friendly and caring and compassionate. Dr. Lowenstein treats Bear like part of her family. The entire staff years Bear like he was part of their family.
My previous vet is no longer seeing patients. I called Braescroft Animal Clinic, I received an appointment within 2 days. Everyone was so kind and professional. Oliver, my little man, just loved all of them!!! Me too!!
The Braescroft Clinic is a wonderful place to take your prized pet and would recommend the facility to anyone. The staff treated Macy like a queen. She enjoyed the service provided and definitely will be back again.
The vet is extremely good and took the time to come to the phone addressing my multiple questions regarding my dog. She is a caring and talented surgeon. Her staff is polite and extremely friendly Love this clinic!!
Dr. Lowenstein is wonderful, all her staff are wonderful, would recommend this clinic to anyone. Dr. Lowenstein gives her love to each of our pets, helps us get through the humps of raising these precious animals.
Everyone at Braescroft Animal Clinic is very friendly, professional, and truly interested in our pets. We recently lost our beloved dog, and we appreciated the sympathy note the clinic sent. Jacquelyn Stowers
Very good personal service for my three dogs over the last 20 years. The first 2 dogs lived 15 and 17 years, and the current collie just turned 9 in good health. Would highly recommend Braescroft Vet Clinic.
I love this office. Everybody is very friendly and greets my dog Loki by name when we walk in. Dr Lowenstein is always answering all my questions and giving great advice. I definitely recommended this place.
I truly enjoyed our first visit. The professionalism was awesome. My concerns were met, we felt comfortable and they truly care for animals. I was given great information and appreciate the entire staff.
If I could give Dr. Lowenstein and her staff 10 stars, I would. She is honest, caring, and very knowledgeable on the best treatment of our animals. I wouldn't take my furry family members anywhere else.
Dr. Lowenstein and her staff are the best! They care so much about both their animal clients and their owners. My dogs have always received the best care from them that I highly recommend them to all.
Staff is very efficient and have a unique way of making my pets feel at ease. They're even on first name basis, hehehe. Highly recommend to have your furry friend or friends to be taken good care of.
Wonderful service. Have older poodle who was very sick....She is back to normal and doing very well! I am especially impressed by Dr. Lowenstein's follow-up calls to check on the animal's progress.
I was charged for a general exam of 60$ plus an ear exam of 70$. I am confused why the need for the double charge? What did the 60$ cover? Just to see the doctor? You need more transparent prices
Dr. Lowenstein is an excellent vet. She explains everything clearly, follows up personally, is caring and very professional. The techs are great and everyone on staff is friendly and helpful.
Braescroft Animal Clinic is an efficient and friendly place. They are also very knowledgable. I have taken my dogs there for years and trust them with their health. They love going there!
Doctor Lowenstein always takes the time to explain what's going on and to respond to any concerns we may have. The clinic always calls to follow up after any concerns, surgeries, etc.
We recently started taking both of our dogs here after several neighbors relayed positive experiences. They do a great job with the pups, communicate well and are reasonably priced.
I’m so glad that I have a vet that is so knowledgeable and genuinely concerned for my dogs’ well being. I know I can rely on prompt, thorough diagnosis and treatment at Braescroft.
Dr. Lowenstein has been our vet for over 10 years. She is kind, caring and very knowledgeable. I credit her and her staff for keeping my 11 and 12 year old cats happy and healthy!
This has been our family vet for as long as I can remember. They’re always super welcoming, clean, thorough, and fairly priced. I wouldn’t trust any other vet with my fur babies.
Been going here for years for our kitties and cannot say enough good things about Braescroft Animal Clinic. They are caring, and responsive and I highly recommend them!
We've been with Lisa and crew for 17 years, and they have taken wonderful care of our cats. Pure professionalism with compassion. I'd give them a sixth star if I could.
