"No smiles at this brumbies just put the change in your hand without a word need to learn some business manners and it’s happened every time I’ve gone there just takes the shine of the place I’ve even bypassed this brumbies to buy bread at Woolworths which I don’t really like please teach your staff some good etiquettes and your business will thrive best of luck"
"Brumbys at Manly West needs to improve or close so that a better bakery can open! The prices are ridiculous, i ask to get bread sliced & get the stale burnt rubbish from the stands in plastic I don’t want plastic I want what i asked for for and not the burnt rubbish!!! If the staff are so lazy & can’t be bothered to provide customer service, easy, close!!!!!"
Everytime I go to this bakery I think, this time surely will be a better experience. I'll buy the food when it's fresh, that will make the food better. However, everytime regardless whether we buy it supposedly fresh or during lunchtime or in the afternoon on the weekend, we seem to be come back a bit disappointed. We have yet to come across anything fresh, most pastries seem like that have been sitting in the shelf for a while, even in the mornings. And compared to other Brumbies bakeries I've been to, plus other non chain bakeries, the taste in the pastries are never quite as satisfying or delicious. This is a little disappointing as I would like to support the local bakery, but I just can't bring myself to buy anything there anymore. I suggest they review the 'fresh' food they sell and see why this is not as appealing as other Brumbies or local bakeries.
Whilst waiting to be served, myself and other customers were watching a man prepare sandwiches with his bare hands out the back. He was handling the ham & pulling salads out of a box and cutting them up without gloves on. He then left to get something from Woolworths and returned, going straight back to handling the food without gloves and without washing his hands. Considering we are fighting a pandemic, this is very irresponsible.
Friendly staff and very good vegemite scrolls. I found the glens had too much fillings in them but I'm sure that'd be a selling point to a lot of people. I'm not sure if it was an accident or just the price but two items (the scrolls and a glen) cost me $18. I was in a hurry so couldn't verify but that's super expensive compared to other bakeries if it was the correct price.

The hot box of sausage rolls are dry and pies lack filling, no value for the price charged. Despite giving them a few chances, another disappointing experience for breakfast today . Unfortunately no more business for my local bakery …
lovely and friendly staff and very fresh bread. I bought vanilla sprinkle mini muffins for my daughter's birthday party and were finished in no time. I always get a nice welcome even if i am going to Woolworths for my shopping. all the best
A woman there sold me a day old stale baguette deliberately for $4. She moved the other fresher ones away to give me the older one and it was totally stale. She offered me a refund when I rang up but this is not good enough as its the
Not a bad little place. I guess Brumby's are disappearing a bit so I'm happy to know it's still possible to get that amazing bread! Would give 5 stars but it doesnt have a huge selection and some staff are a little stale.
Food is amazing as always , but couldn’t stop myself from writing a review this time though, staff member “parminder” she is soft talking ,helpful i can say a great staff member that every outlet should have one Thanks
The hot food, pies, sausage rolls are terrible, not hot and very expensive. Staff not friendly on the verge of rude. Condiments are charged for And expensive in comparison to other bakeries. Won't go there again.
Got a raspberry muffin and sausage roll , possibly the worse muffin I have ever eaten. Super dry and old and I got it first thing in the morning.... sausage roll was also not hot enough. Neither tasted fresh
Best Spinach Roll EVER! Thank you to the very helpful lass on the other side of counter for her suggestions during my indecisive state. No regrets! Also VANILLA SLICE DONUTS for life
The lady was on her phone and did not have great customer service. She wasn’t rude but basic customer service pleasantry’s need to be improved. The actual product was delicious though!
Staff whom I assume are the owners are very rude and abrupt. Not friendly at all. I’ve been here on quite a few occasions and they’ve always been the same.
I have purchased a few items here, everything has been fresh and delicious. The bread is good, it has a lovely crisp crust and fluffy texture inside.
Have you tried their cinnamon rolls?!?!? I am absolutely addicted. They are incredible. The closest to Cinnabon I’ve ever had.
Went there at 9 am on the 24th of April and was served by a rude lady who sold us raw sausage rolls saying that were fresh....
On google said closing at 5:30 and when we arrived at 5:08, they were closed so false advertising, update your trading hours
Great service and love the food. This bakery is literally my childhood and I’ve never had a bad experience.
Much better.bread than woolworths Great people that work there and the best baker this side of town
Local bakery for me, very friendly staff, never an issue with the quality of the products.
Sold me stale bread rolls
Food: 1
Service: 4
Atmosphere: 3
Massivly over priced with average baked goods RFG is likely screwing them so avoid
Everytime I come here regardless of what time it is my pie is always really cold
The cakes and hot food are amazing as are the friendly staff keep it up guys
Lame as, go to Cannon Hill instead which is amazing, not this poor attempt.
It's always closed, doesn't have croissants at 9am? Not much of a range.
One of the best bakery I've experienced. Friendly Staff and Good Quality
Stale looking pies and don't have tomato sauce, walked away in disgust
Never has any of the food I want. Always out of most things
Very friendly staff and quality product
