EXCEPTIONAL!!!!! This small, super friendly bakery offers a variety of delicious breads (they don't sell anything that wasn't baked in the last 3-4 hours so everything is magnificently fresh) but, imho, the real gems at COBS are the ham and cheese croissants and the lemon blueberry scones. It's hard to find a savoury pastry at all, (in addition to the ham and cheese croissants, they also offer a spinach and feta version) let alone one that is so delicate and tender it melts on your tongue! Meanwhile, I have never liked scones or danish but COBS has somehow managed to virtually reinvent both of these treats, creating delicious and supple desserts that are remarkably moist and flavourful. Highly recommend.

Like so many bakeries the smell makes you salivate as soon as you walk in the door! That was not at all busy when we were there and there were still a few loaves of most things left but it's obvious that they are quite popular and supplies start running low by the end of the day. There were some boxed desserts as well as the cases of pastries that you could pick from. The lovely staff person asked us what type of cut we wanted for each of the loaves we bought. Carby gluten heaven!

The staff are extremely friendly ! I haven’t tried something I haven’t liked yet as well! Working in the complex with them has been great. They’re a lovely place to visit for all kinds of snacks and loaves of bread. This place is a must to go. I went later in the evening and the staff gave me my treat on the house! Thanks again

The bread is delicious. However you have to use it within a day or two before it dries out. Heaven forbid you should freeze it and thaw it for use later. The culprit is the bags they use which are permeable to air. They used to sell half loaves which were able to be used while the bread was still soft and fresh.

Challah bread is very good. I don't know if I should mention this but I will occasionally go at the end of the day and the staff don't charge me. They are SUPER friendly. I actually feel guilty about it so I try to pay. They donate all the unsold goods to charity at the end of the day. So nice! And DELISH!

I absolutely love their sourdough bread. They are very friendly when you walk in and happy to see you as a customer. I really appreciate the way they treat their customers. The man who served me seemed very happy and excited to be working there. I highly recommend this bakery. Both locations are great.

I’ve come here several times and have tried many of their breads and baked goods. I’ve never left disappointed! They offer a great variety of excellent bread, which is always fresh. Crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. Staff are always very pleasant at this location as well!

We love this bakery, it is part of our community walks with children at the centre as well as staff who support weekly. The wonderful staff came and gave our group walking by a special treat for the day. It’s always nice to see the smiles on everyone’s face as we walk by. …

Cute little shop. Smelled great the gourmet hotdog buns are so good you don’t need the dog. The scones were okay. However they shined with the gourmet buns that are actually brioche with extra sugar. The line was so long and it was full of people who really love cobs.

The breads are amazing, croissants have a soft with nice and crispy texture to follow along and many more delicious options to choose from. Customer service has to be my favourite. Very friendly and informative staff. Would definitely go again.

Beautiful Bread! We loved the Exceptionally tasty pizza bun and spinach feta croissant that we took for lunch at Assiniboine Park. The Turkish bread and cinnamon loaf for home were also very fresh with excellent texture! Highly recommended!

I love their breads and I go there frequently. I was there today July 16 at about past 2 pm. The sign at the door says 4 people at a time. I was the 4th person to get in but was I was shooed away. So rude!

I got some peach scones, cinnamon loaf and a chocolate croissant. All of them tasted great and were fresh. Will definitely be my go-to bakery. They also have a rewards program which is a plus.

Friendly staff, and a good variety of fresh bread. Not standard shaped loaves. Most are tall and narrow, and will be sliced as requested on purchase. This is a shop, not a restaurant.
