Came here for a drive thru covid test as it was the only cvs nearby with appointments I and had the most ridiculous experience. I had booked an appointment but had to wait in line for 90 minutes, I would have left but needed the test done to be able to go to work. I went into the pharmacy after half an hour to ask of everything was OK with the testing and the response I got from the woman that served me was "I don't deal with things on that side". So back in my car to wait until finally being served another hour later. Upon getting to the window the cvs staff member took my ID for more than 15 minutes. After this time I tapped on the window and he told me to write down my confirmation number on a piece of paper with other peoples names on it (not very covid friendly). I eventually was given the test and told "You know how to do the test". It wasn't clear but I assume that was a question. The staff member whose name was George, was rude, unapologetic and down right incompetent to be honest. My total time from arriving in the drive thru line to completing my test was just under 2 hours. I have been through CVS drive thru testing at least 5 times over the past year or so with all my other experiences being great and quick. I will be avoiding this location at all costs in the future.
Very nice and helpful staff, yet understaffed pharmacy. The staff hours have been lowered by CVS corporate and this is hindering patients waiting on medication. Not the pharmacy to use if you need medication filled same day. In my circumstance I had surgery and before being discharged, my health provider put in an Rx at CVS Lyons, I would need to take that evening. The Rx was placed in the AM giving the pharmacy ample time to fill. By late afternoon I had not received word that my Rx was ready. I called the pharmacy only to be told that the medication was not available at this location and that it would be ready for pick up in 2 days. I will say- The pharmacist was very helpful and took the time to transfer my Rx to another location. However, had the pharmacy been staffed properly, I would have been updated about my medication not available at time of Rx submission. Please keep in mind that tons of people come to CVS for their medications, don't forget about them and how they're affected when you slash employee hours.
Store was actually nice and looked clean, my only and biggest complaint is the African American man who felt the need to follow me around the store at 9:05pm. I was only in there for 5 minutes. I get it, it's a bad area but there's entirely no need to follow and wait at the end of aisles to make sure no merchandise is being stolen. And to stereotype another person based on race is completely unnecessary and inhumane. It makes people uncomfortable and for me personally even though I paid for my merchandise it made me want to go across the street to Walgreens. There are other ways to monitor aisles. The man could have asked me if I needed assistance or something helpful like that.
The store looks very nice outside, and you'll think you're walking to a nice clean store. However, that is not the case. There are stains all over the carpet. It looks like it doesnt ever get vacuumed or shampooed. Its unfortunate that the store hasn't been established for too long, and its not being properly maintained. There are items found all over the floor. Not enough staff around to help. Not enough items to choose from. The aisles are pretty long or big, but their shelfs don't hold enough variety or products. I prefer to go to the one in Harrisburg Blvd.
The pharmacy tech/attendant that was working at 10:00 am to 10:45 on 10/22/22 placed us on hold without even giving us a chance to say anything. We were on hold for close to 20 -25 minutes only to be hung up on. We called again and the same thing happened. People have things to do and are only trying to work around their schedules. We only wanted to know when the medicine would be ready for pick up so we wouldn’t waste any time.Maybe the person in charge of the department needs to fully staff the department or create a functioning schedule.
Everytime I call the hold is at least 30 min. This last time I was on hold for over 86 min during their business hours and no one came on the phone to at least acknowledge me and ask me to hold properly. I was put on hold by the automated system and just kept hearing the same automated message about Covid and vaccines. If I hadn't been at the hospital with my dad I would have just gone down there to check in person like I usually do when I get no answer.
Three is more for my empathy for the pharmacy staff. The pharmacist is the fastest typing person I know. At least, while I was there he could never get a moment to even answer the phone. There were 5 calls waiting and the technicians were scrambling. Even worse, they had to give their own Covid vaccine? Where were the nurses? I think I need someone who’s supposed to give shots everyday lol…
was expecting my high blood pressure pills since Thursday of last week. Have been driving there to check on my medication(thurs, fri, sat, sun and Monday). I went today Tuesday got told that they were going to order medication. I said well didn't they order the medication Thursday. The guy said oh sorry I just received it right now. Very irresponsible will be changing pharmacy.
I want to give it a perfect star. But they are doing COVID-19 test in the drive thru and it takes forever. Y'all need to put them people in a separate line or something. I don't see why it's necessary for them to swab at the same window others have to pick up prescription. I hope they are cleaning every time after those people testing at the window.
This is a newer store, organized and pharmacy staff have been very diligent. I haven’t had any problems and hope not to have any. The only downside is that every time I’ve gone to this store they seem to be making police reports, store gets robbed too often I guess. Makes me feel unsafe.
This is my second time coming in, the staff is way better than Walgreens but they are completely understaffed. It was only one person running the whole store and she had to run from the back to the front several times. Kudos to her for being diligent and patient!
This was my first time at this location the young lady was welcoming and greeted me as I entered. while completing my checkout out the gentleman Joshua assisted me with my coupons. Thank you for the great customer Service. I will be back at this location
They were friendly and helpful. They explained my medication and checked to see if I had any concerns. It didn’t take long to get my medications. The location was clean and really busy. They also had a nice little sale on some items.
Clean and fully stocked store. The cashier's are nice and helpful. They have a lot of different hair colors at this location. This location is near a transit center Incase you need to take the bus here.
I have a pleasant experience coming in, feeling welcomed and having employees happy to help. The seasonal promotions are fun and the prices are reasonable to continue shopping here.
Pharmacist in the drive thru at 9am Tues March 24, was very helpful and explained the dosage and ways to take the medication. Very polite, great employee.
Ive had same experience trying to go in and use a coupon on last day and i get there at 10:00 and its closed when it states online it closes at 11:00pm.
Experience was horrible rude employees, young kids, pants all the way to their knees no customer service unprofessional do not come to the store
