"Worst Pharmacy I have ever been to"
"I took a PCR Covid test here on the morning of Monday, July 12"
"I just went there to get a prescription which I forgot from home upon arriving in Nashville"
"Ok, I went into pick up a prescription but I had recently misplaced/lost my driver's license and I thought it actually may be at this particular cvs from last month when I last filled the same prescription"
"Terrible pharmacy customer service"
Worst Pharmacy I have ever been to. I have been going to this pharmacy with no problems for over a year and everything was fine until recently. I’m not sure if they got a new pharmacist in the last few months, but when I went to pick up my prescription today (same prescription that I’ve been getting there for over a year), the Pharmacist refused to fill my prescription because it was prescribed in another state other than TN (prescription has always been from another state). I was told he could override this PERSONAL decision to not fill it, but was not going to. I called another CVS in Nashville and they said they would fill the prescription they just need my Dr to send it to their specific location tomorrow. Thankful for the other CVS that will fill my prescription but super unfortunate that the CVS located on Gallatin Ave is not willing to take care of their customers and has a pharmacist that makes personal decisions to not fill a valid prescription from a loyal customer.
I took a PCR Covid test here on the morning of Monday, July 12. I did not receive my test results until Thursday, July 15 at noon, despite being told the results would take two days max and my partner who took a test at the same time receiving his results the next day (causing me to believe that CVS lost my test). This delay caused me to miss an international flight. I called multiple times and spoke with several customer service reps, who all assured me that I would get my results by the end of day on Wednesday. That did not happen. I wish they would have been upfront and honest with me about the delay, instead of giving me the runaround, so I could have made other arrangements. What a horrible, negative experience. I would give 0 starts if I could.
I just went there to get a prescription which I forgot from home upon arriving in Nashville. The gate opened to the pharmacy at 10:00 am. The whole floor area under the pharmacy counter was filthy. The counter was all dirty. I made a comment to my husband how dirty it was. The pharmacist heard me and asked if I was transferring a prescription. I said I was picking up something. She did not want to service me. I said it was a diabetic medicine (meta form in) and I needed it. She finally gave in and took care of me. I am in the medical field and her behavior was unacceptable . She should of apologized or cleaned it herself. A drugstore should be an example of things. Especially with our times with Covid. Management should Definately address this issue.
Ok, I went into pick up a prescription but I had recently misplaced/lost my driver's license and I thought it actually may be at this particular cvs from last month when I last filled the same prescription. If not, I had my state issued gun carry permit with my driver's license number and photo on it just in case and Edwin immediately gave me the squirlly eye and said that only says that I can carry a gun. I said "actually Edwin, you all may have my driver's from when you asked for it last month". Sure enough, it was there but this nut job prick commenced to telling me that my carry permit wasn't sufficient. Not sure if this is true or not because EVERYWHERE else that requires Id takes it. Either way, Edwin is a prick sooooo
Terrible pharmacy customer service. My girlfriend pulled up to the drive thru pharmacy window at 110pm. There was an elderly lady directly in front of her that was taking a long time to get her prescription filled, so she waited in the drive thru for 25 minutes for the lady in front of her to be done. As soon as she pulls up they close the drive thru and don't offer to help her. I spoke with the store manager that blatantly lied and said the lady was taking a COVID test which in fact was false. She offered no apology only to say that it's company policy for pharmacy to be closed from 130-2 even though the lady in front was being helped until 135. Completely rude and apologetic. I will never come back to this pharmacy again.
dont let all these 4 other people fool you, this place is awesome. Staff is courteous and remembers who I am and what I need. I never call ahead for meds just bring in my script and when I wait it's a grand total of 15 minutes EVERY TIME no matter how busy they are they get it done. Each one of the team are knowledgeable and efficient. Ive seen them deal with HIGH volumes of people with poise and ease. Ill never go anywhere else. This is my first time writing a review on anything on the internet. But looked the cvs up to see their hours and saw a few hags had rated it poorly. How dare they besmirch gallatin cvs. Haters. This is the best pharmacy Ive ever been to.
Uhm, Bond Hindson these are just customer reviews so don't get triggered when someone says something you don't like. You can't stop this and since people are allowed to speak freely about whatever they want just know that it is the store asking for others feedback so they can use the feedback that people send them and review it so they can get better. So it does seem like their being rude, but trust me their not being rude it's just Constructive Criticism that CVS workers feed off on and use it as a lesson to get better and provide better customer service, so let the insults keep coming.
LOVE the Pharmacy staff! Can’t say enough good things about them. *******BUT******** I am so sick of going into the store and getting hounded by the different fundraising groups fixed right as you enter the front door. I have decided today that I will no longer shop in store because of the incessant soliciting. The register people are so unfriendly and purposefully ignore you so you have to use the self-checkout. And the store shelves haven’t had a restock in many many months. I’m talking shower products, snack foods, etc. It’s just not a great experience to go in there. I’m done inside.
Prescription was sent to pharmacy after pharmacy, and this pharmacist was not helpful in providing actual assistance. Said that I should have told rhe doctor to write a different script that was less obscure and won't help me find a pharmacy in my geographical region within CVS to send it to. Cannot reasonably drive to this location, and waiting for a mail order script for an emergent condition is a terrible option. Now, they arent answering the phone. Thanks for holding antibiotics hostage from my ailing spouse who has been in an out of the hospital this week.
I'm sure this place was great in the past but the pharmacist i dealt with last night (Edwin?) was the rudest, most insufferable "customer service" person I have dealt with in a long time. He was beligerant, flung papers under my nose and around the area when I disagreed with him on my prescription order...I will be changing locations as I have absolutely NO patience for crappy customer service, I don't care HOW bad your day is. The other lady who was there was very pleasant and helpful, however.
The FIRST time my prescription was messed up I gave them the benefit of the doubt.. stuff happens !! Well not this time ! I am out of my meds! I called in for my refill they said they needed to call my Dr. so it wouldn't be ready for 2 days... ok.. i have enough to go 2 days... I go in today (3 days later) they tell me I need to call my Dr. NO call to me yesterday or the day before... I AM GONE. Walgreens is across the street !! I RECOMMEND anyone needing a prescription filled DO THE SAME !
Up until a month or so ago, I wasn't the biggest fan of this pharmacy but it was the closest one to my home that would take my insurance. However, my recent experiences have been awesome! I'm not sure whether or not she is new, but Elnora (in the pharmacy department) is the best! She is always so sweet, kind, efficient, and helpful. She's made a huge difference in my experiences with picking up prescriptions and I no longer dread having to run that errand.
Update. What the hell is wrong with CVS. Does no one care about customer service anymore? I called and verified (after another>10 min wait). They verbally said my meds would be ready >2 hours before I arrived. Upon arrival, guess what. No meds ready. Original post: After being on hold >10 min, I called back to speak to someone in the store. They said. “Only one person in the pharmacy”. What.
Professional. courteous. Extremely nice & friendly. This is what I experience every time I go to this pharmacy for dropping, picking up, or questions, no matter how busy the pharmacy is at the time.. I always comment as it is unusual to experience such helpful & kind people in a pharmacy or store environment. HELPFUL, COURTEOUS, AND KIND!!!! every time.
Yvonne in the pharmacy is the best CVS employee and patient advocate I have ever met. She always greets me with a big smile and kind words. My partner and I are so glad to see her when we fill our Rx. She is an asset to your organization. As long as she is there, you will have two loyal customers. Thank you for your phenomenal service, Yvonne!
Without fail, they text you that your called-in prescription is ready, and when you get there they haven't even begun filling it, so you have to wait 30-45 minutes. What is the point of having a notification system if the employees don't bother filling until you get there? Go somewhere else.
We are here on vacation & my husband got sick. This CVS Pharmacy far exceeds the service we get back home. At least we know that our store in IN is the one with the problems. The staff in Nashville were competent & friendly. Wish we could take them back home with us!!!
inconsistent service-can't take a package for ups from me until after ups comes. Literally no one in the store and no line with plenty of space for boxes on top of the other boxes they have piled up. Switched my pharmacy to elsewhere because of this waste of my time.
The service I received from Yvonne in the pharmacy today was unparalleled. I wasn’t having the greatest day, but she brightened the hell out of my mood. I’ve actually had only great experiences here, so kudos to the hiring manager! Sometimes it’s the little things.
Absolute worst customer service I’ve ever had. The cashier was on her phone and I waited for a while till finally saying something. When checking out she didn’t ask me for my cvs card, and then didn’t print me a receipt, so when I asked to
I would caution people against getting their scripts filled at this pharmacy. My doctor sent in a script Monday, when I called to check on the status, they told me it was out of stock and they needed to order it (they said it would arrive
Awful customer service. Only interested in getting back to their phones. And I guess the ruder they are with me - the sooner the conversation ends. Despite what their website says - this location can't do passport photos currently.
Technicians can be incompetent at times. When in doubt, speak with the pharmacist. Pharmacists can be understanding but also largely aloof. They will not be able to understand 31 days months in terms of refills. Be aware of this.
Friendly, accommodating service. Feel like many of them are friends. Have had bad experiences at Walgreens in the past and changed to this CVS. Feel taken care of. Thankful for personal service of Dustin, and others on staff. :)
David pharmacist (won't give last name) is rude, insulting to customer and this was their Second change. It's not surprising only 3 locations in Nashville. I will be posting with corporate and dept of health RX licensing
The pharmacy needs new management or something… they are extremely slow. My prescription was called in early yesterday morning and they didn’t start to fill it until I walked in today. 28 hours after it was called in.
Have no idea what these other people with bad reviews about the pharmacy. Dustin and his team are some of the most helpful retail people I've met. Very friendly and helpful atmosphere. Always top notch.
I’ve been checked out by Yvonne a few times in recent months and she is such a ray of sunshine. Her kindness and caring attitude always uplifts me. We need more Yvonne’s in the world.
So very slow.i dread having to go sit in the drive thru to wait on my prescription. It should not take 45 min per car to fill people's prescriptions. Are they completely incompetent?
RUN AWAY!! HORRIBLE PHARMACISTS!! After their pharmacist Dustin left, this branch has recruited nothing but the rudest, most self-entitled pharmacists that I have ever encountered.
Very rude been in nashville my whole life and visit their regularly but when you'd rather have a personal conversation instead of helping someone that's a problem.
I really love this pharmacy because of Yvonne. She always will greet you with a smile & a warm goodbye. She is really a caring person and a joy to interact with.
Been going here for years. They rock. Everyone treats me and my family as family. I love them all, they are great. Even the new people rock.
Today 5-20-2022 Friday Mike was "VERY"helpful today with my vital prescription medication. Thanks Mike and Keep Up the good work!
I have been a customer for over 25 years and the customer service, professionalism, love and care is second to none.
The rudest staff I’ve ever had to deal with. Do yourself a favor and go to Walgreens next door to avoid coming here!
Yvonne at the pharmacy is the kindest, most wonderful person. She always makes you feel welcome and taken care of.
The store and employees are fine; it's the pharmacists who are unprofessional and incompetent. Steer clear.
I’ve been in line for a prescription for an hour now. There is literally no justification for this.
Everyone is always so nice and helpful in the pharmacy. The store always has everything I need.
Yvonne is the heart and soul of the pharmacy. She elevates the entire store and pharmacy.
Convenient place to do UPS drop off without having to drive out of your way.
They have a very friendly staff who knows most of their customers by name
The staff here are always very kind and helpful.
Extremely unfriendly women behind the counter.
Exceptional staff. Swift & efficient service.
Terrible location, go elsewhere!
Awesome beverage selection!
Slow, incompetent service.
Pick up Scripts.
