Safety Hazard. Watch out. We went to Crate and Barrel at UTC on Sunday. On the 2nd floor, I saw a leather sofa. Before sitting down, I wanted to check out the thickness of the armrest, so I reached my hand in between the armrest and a decorative pillow to feel the thickness. Who would have thought that a folder that contains the leather samples was hidden there? To make matters worse, the sharp side of the plastic folder was facing up. It cut deep into my finger and blood started dripping. My husband rushed to a shop assistant for band-aids. One came to remove the folder from the scene immediately, and told us to wait there, without telling us what to wait for. Quite a while later, another shop assistant came with an iPad to collect personal information such as telephone and address. It was not until I asked what she was doing, were we told that she was filing an incident report. At this point, I had not even been able to wash my bloody wound, but Crate and Barrel didn't care. If you were next to us at that time, you would have thought that she was collecting census data, rather than helping a customer. When she finished the report, she ended with a fake and abrupt "awww, I am so sorry that you cut you finger." During the time of the pandemic when everyone is diligent washing their hands, it is unnerving to have a deep open wound in my hand. Should't the folder be placed somewhere visible, rather than hidden in between of the armrest and the pillow? When a customer is hurt, shouldn't Crate and Barrel at least direct the customer to take care of the wound first? When filing a report, shouldn't Crate and Barrel at least acknowledge what has happened before talking like a census worker? It was fortunate that it was the sharp plastic that cut into my finger. It could have been the metal bolts on the folder. Be careful with the safety hazards in the store, and be prepared for the indifference from their staff if anything happens.

Compliments to the professional free enterprise well-mannered person who trains employees. I felt welcomed! On the evening of my visit, if you didn't have a mask, one was provided for you! I had my mask ready! Free markets are better than centralized state overreach! Do you think the government has incentive and time to do beautiful like Crate and Barrel? Saturday, November 21, 2020, I bought "Dash" one person toaster as a gift! Reasonably priced (discounted $24 + tax) for wedding present (for the married single lifestyle, I am praying for sanctification!) Wonderful gifts and beautiful displays! There's a lot of Thanksgiving here! Eucharistic thoughts reaching out to you all! Ever Virgin Most Powerful Blessed Mother Mary triumph, crush, and be revered by all! Hyperdulia! Purple means a reminder that Christ the King reigns even when the situation disguises the fact!

Ordered a couch online in Dec 2021 and still haven’t received it. Two failed attempts to schedule a delivery. First one was booked two weeks ago and supposedly the item was inspected before it was loaded into the truck and it was damaged, so that delivery was cancelled. (Only received an email and we waited all morning)…ok, was frustrated but ended up booking the second attempt the following week. AGAIN, delivery was cancelled but this time because the item was not in the warehouse. So then why was the delivery scheduled?!!! Terrible service from CB 2. Update: called to check on my order because it still says back ordered online. The representative informed me that the couch I ordered is discontinued; so then why didn’t they reach out to tell me?? I have been waiting several more months for no reason. I am so impressed by the lack of organization by this company. This process has been super fun. Never ordering from them again.

I can’t warn and wait a review bad enough from what we have experienced so far. We ordered a full outdoor patio chaise set in May asking specifically if it was in stock. We were told that we would get it the beginning of June and once we purchased it they would reserve the item for us. Each month since then we have received an email from CB2 that it would be delivered in another month. It’s now almost October, summer is over and we bought the set for the summer. Today they finally were going to deliver the items and told me on the phone that only part of it would be delivered. Basically the frame without the side piece of cushions. Which means someone can’t even sit on it. If you wanta pay a lot for furniture and get maybe an arm of your chair and the rest six months later definitely order from this store. Just keeping it positive.

The staff at the La Jolla store is polite but my issue is with the quoted times they provide on furniture. We were told all items were in stock and that the delivery would be in 4-6 weeks. It's been over three months and no furniture. I keep getting emails saying the shipment has been delayed. I checked the Houzz website and apparently, many others had the same thing happen (some waiting for over 7 months when quoted "4-6 weeks"). We moved our old bed and furniture out to make room for the new and we are now having to sleep in a cramped guest room. Our excitement has turned into frustration and ill will for this brand. It's so frustrating because they have my money and I feel Crate and Barrel was not truthful.

Nice stuff, but delivery and customer service are just not reflective of the storefront itself and leave a lot to be desired. Combined 'services' seemingly work completely independent of one another and are infuriatingly chaotic and unorganized. I would avoid C&B for items requiring delivery... UPDATE: Seven months in... still waiting for delivery (predicted to come in June now!?). UPDATE 2: Last item was supposed to come today, but was cancelled AGAIN due to a damaged item, AGAIN... At this point the last star should come off the review too.

We purchased, an entire living room, great room, and bedroom set and dining room for our new home in January of 2022 . Which took over 6 months for delivery only to discover that most of them were damaged. Then you will receive email after email, month after month pushing the delivery time back. Customer service was not the greatest until we reach the store manager at UTC Stacy Gallagher-Bolton she was amazing, helpful and friendly and professional helped us resolve issues for damaged furniture and delays.

Walked in hoping to find a loveseat to purchase. Being dark skinned I was hoping to be treated just live every other white American shopping in their store. Wasn't greeted when I walked in the store but a white couple was. I wasn't greeted at all in this store even though I came across about 10 employees. No one offered me assistance or smiled at me. I only got eyeballed by a white woman working on something at a register. Will never shop or be back here again.

DONT do home delivery! Their 3rd party delivery service is terrible. We’ve have this experience three times with three different items. They don’t ring the doorbell when they arrive (they call and if your aren’t the person accepting the delivery they leave), they take FOREVER, and only deliver during the day and require signature. Doesn’t work for people that actually have a job! Terrible customer service to pay $150 for shipping!

Every. Single. Person. All of their employees, online and in store, have been so accommodating, informative, and just all around awesome. I love the selection of quality products, and their sale prices are incredible! We had a one-on-one registry tour and it was so fun. There is an offering for every comfort level - in store shopping, online order and curbside pickup or in store pickup, or online ordering with home delivery.

I was at this store today and a girl did an ousts ding job helping us but when it came to ask the manager to authorize a discount he despotically look at us and said: He can not do it not only that the girl was waiting for his help and he help other three people first. We where going to do an $ 899.00 purchase. However I did order it from Amazon. Very incompetent manager.

Love this store! Great selection, beautiful layout, and very helpful staff (Megan was super helpful with finding my product quickly and carefully packaging it is as a gift). Also, lots of parking, and you don't have to go into the mall to get there. It's outside the mall, in the corner of the parking lot. Staff also very helpful in getting my items to my car. Thank you!

The service at this Crate and Barrel is like a 5 star hotel... seriously, every person that walked by was so helpful. They made it easy to shop and hard to leave when your treated so well. It's unusual to have this kind of service by a whole staff. I'd attribute it to good management. It was enough to rememeber to post this a week later. Check it out and you'll see.

Purchased a couch that was supposed to arrive by late September. It’s now mid November and it’s finally available. I scheduled for it to be delivered today. However, Crate and Barrel had an error in their delivery so now I have to wait another 1.5 weeks for the new delivery date. Still waiting for my other furniture to get here also…

Michelle delivers service and design sensibilities that would make even the highest end stores envious. Jeff was great as well as he helped us navigate all our options and finding solutions for us.

We don't buy a lot here, as it's not exactly our vibe (we're more CB2 and Williams-Sonoma people) but every single time we stop in, the staff are great. They check stock for you, carry your stuff around, are fast at doing stuff. I don't know, they just seem like good people and are well managed. Don't see that around too often.

Rolan helped me out last night. Customer service was so good I forgot I was shopping. I came I. Only wanting one thing but then was tempted to buy even more. Pizza oven is next on the list followed by patio furniture. A good conversation and product knowledge go a long way! Can’t say enough good things about Rolan!

Big Store, lots of selection and really helpful employees. My first first to this store and I was in love the customer service was awesome and the select6 was superb. I will definitely be coming back here again. Parking is simple at the edge of the mall so theres lots of space to park and the pick up is easy!

Large store with great displays for each season. The staff is always willing to help and the store layout makes it easy to find what you want. Parking is a bit odd since it's the opposite corner of the mall parking lot and you may want to find somewhere in the middle to park if you want to go to UTC as well.

Buying a sofa! Their staff is super helpful and very knowledgeable. Unfortunately, not everyone appreciates it as a random "Karen" was irate there. I was obviously eaves dropping while "Karen" was returning an item and the manager was 100% helping her but "Karen" was insane. I highly recommend this CB.

Inept, completely unprofessional supply chain and fulfillment team. Months and months of delays. Once it was confirmed, they forget to load it onto their truck leading to additional weeks of delays. Overly hopeful estimates. Just go any where else that has their operations in order.

We went to 3 stores in the mall for shopping this being the first. I wish we just stayed here. Best place to shop for household appliances and home goods. Josh also surprised us with a gift as we were here to setup our wedding registry! All of the staff were kind and helpful also.

Waited over a month for an order , order was damaged. Wasted time and money for item that was not up to par. I had to provide solution to customer service. If you’re buying quality you would except quality. That was not the case. Very disappointed with the entire experience.

Crate & Barrel’s selection is hard to beat. Recently purchased all new plates, dishes, etc. Janet, who is the dinnerware guru was amazing. Seriously, she knew a ton and gave great advise. If the store manager ever reads reviews, give that lady a raise!

These guys are the worst on shipping timing. They continually bump your orders by a week at a time saying it didn't make the truck with no further explanation. If they don't have it in store, don't buy they are extremely disorganized with shipping.
