Not real orthodontists, just dentist who does braces. Go to a real Board Certified Orthodontist instead, because nothing cheap comes in good quality. Certified orthodontists can be found on saoa.co.za. Don't EVER get teeth extracted for braces with these people! That method is outdated. Why are you claiming to be orthodontists (especially your receptionists)? That's how you mislead individuals. You are DENTISTS who gets a few weeks of training by another dentists and then overestimate yourselves by taking on the most challenging cases without the necessary experience, skills, knowledge or orthodontic qualifications. Refer patients to real orthodontists! Especially cases that might require extractions! The receptionist ensured us that the orthodontist was a qualified orthodontist and even refered to him as one stating, "The orthodontist will see you now". They told my brother to extract 4 healthy teeth and said that it was absolutely necessary, however, once his spaces started closing his side profile looked sunken in and his smile more narrower than before. We then transferred to a real orthodontist who told us that since his palate was narrow, he needed expansion and not extraction and the new orthodontist ask who the previous orthodontist was and when we told him he said that there are only 13 Orthodontist in Cape Town currently, and neither of them works at the Dental and Ortho Clinics, he said that any real orthodontist would know that extraction retraction in my brothers case was probably the most dangerous because it would just worsen his case. Dentist should stick to extracting teeth and restorations. Leave the orthodontic work to the specialists, or simply refer extraction or complicated cases to a certified orthodontist. You are literally ruining people lives and faces all for a R16 000! Shame on you!

I've always had pleasant experiences here before the dentist are lovely especially Dr Mohamed always so friendly and passionate. However, since last year there has been a new male receptionist, the first time I spoke to him last year he wasn't very pleasant. I let it slide as I thought people have their off days but today I realised that is his nature. No way of speaking to people or dealing with people. Please look into this and get a professional admin/reception personnel.

I have never met with such rude and arrogant staff, and all that they are, are reception. Making a request for a minor to not be seen by the dentist was made personal by Ilhaam telling me that they do not need my money and that I should not make a nuisance of myself by phoning and sending emails. As a person of the public, I may make this request. Nothing personal, just business. Email I do, it's called documentary evidence for future reference.

Definitely experienced good service as an ortho patient and the price is perfect too!
