I choose Dentustry@Kingston over another dentist provider for several reasons. Without being too specific, the other dentist office was a very professional office environment but very unfriendly. My initial meeting was met with ”how are you going to pay ” before any hello how are you formalities. I was not happy with the impression I had and choose to seek another provider. I received a flyer in the mail and decided I would go for the free consultation. What a difference!!! Friendly office staff to greet you and a care specialist who was genuinely interested in my care. What a breath if fresh air. Dentistry@Kingston with the initial consult gave me options for payment with 10% deduction for prepayment plan. I also received a $300 x-ray for free which was included in my free consultation. Not so from previous office. Dr Bain is a very competent and personable professional who truly cares for his patients as was evident by a personal phone call after my procedure to see how I was doing. I can not say enough of the staff and a special thank you to Hallie for making this dental experience a pleasure!! Thank you Dentistry@Kingston!!!

This was my first visit to Dentistry Kingston and I went with my daughter as I made appointments for the two of us! It was recommend to me by a friend who’s been going there for years and has told me nothing but good about them, so I decided to try it. I am in my 50’s and never had a cavity and take the best care of my teeth that I possibly can. Through covid and not being able to see a dentist for over a year, my teeth were good but my gums were not! The staff here were amazing!! I have no words except that they care about their clients and are open to questions and give professional answers and advice! I’ve been to some places where it is all about money and how much they can get out of you. I didn’t feel that at all at this place. As a single parent, my dollar has to stretch and I appreciated the honesty and professionalism of the staff and dentists. We had X-rays and will be going for our cleanings soon! I will give another review after that experience is over with! In closing, so far I am pleased and feeling less anxiety about choosing this dental practice as my new dental location! Thank you!

Very impersonal experience with the dentist. Came in as a new customer and briefly "met" the dentist for 15 seconds for him to tell me I needed 6 fillings, and promptly billed me 1,400$ for the fillings that I would require (I am only covered for 500$). The dentist who checked up on me was not the same one who I would be receiving the surgery from, as he was only in the office once a week (He spends most of his time at a different office the other days). I felt that I was just a number to them, there was no continuity between my new "dentist" and myself. There was no attempt at giving me information to help me understand my situation. When I am paying out of pocket for surgery, I like to know what I am spending my money on and why. I changed dentists so I could get a second opinion. Turns out i only need 2 fillings, and the other 4 can be prevented if I improve my brushing and flossing habits over the next year. Leaving this dentist literally saved me 1,000$ and I was able to have a more personal experience with my new dentist. If you are a new customer, go somewhere else!

I have been going here since I was a child (back when Dr. Smithe was there) I feel since his retirement it's not as good as it used to be. Don't get me wrong it's a great place to go and most of the people are lovely. I do however have an issue with Dr. Bain (woman) as in the past she did break my front tooth after fixing the other one and tried to say it was already like that... In all honesty I have never forgiven her for it and am extremely uncomfortable when she walks into the room. I also have an issue with her current assistant using a baby voice almost while talking to me and it feels incredibly insulting. As for the other dentists I haven't had any problems and the staff are all so lovely. My favourite being Sharon who cleans my teeth and Judy the receptionist because she's been there since as long as I can remember. They're also very good with patients on disability and make you feel cared for. I do genuinely love this dentistry and would recommend it.

I simply cannot say enough wonderful things about the entire team at Dentistry at Kingston! I have been going there for the last decade and feel like they have been very supportive of me through the highs and lows of life. The admin staff are all super friendly, easy to talk to and right on the ball. The dental hygienists are all dolls and so so nice! And doctor G is such a gifted dentist. He has such a kind relaxed and calm approach. He is very talented and can provide a huge range of procedures, in which he does himself. I think that anyone would be hard pressed to find a better dentist! I feel very fortunate and lucky to have such a warm, friendly and caring place to go to the dentist!! Especially being one of those fearful dental patients. They help relax and put my mind at ease. Super super people! Highly recommend!

I am extremely appreciative of Dentistry at Kingston and their medical team! I had my first visit with them and I had a wonderful experience. I suffer from severe anxiety and a long history of traumatic dentist experiences. I cannot thank Sarah (the blonde one) enough! I would not have made it though the appointment without her gentle guidance, supportive language, judgement free attitude, and overall positivity. Sarah provided me with outstanding patience and understanding during my most anxious moments. She was also dedicated to helping me understand every procedure and result provided to me today. She is an asset for all anxious patients. I hope I get her for my follow up appointments! My family and I just moved to Kingston and came across Dentistry @ Kingston and decided to give them a try. We needed full check ups and the staff really was fantastic. The front desk was kind and patient with my 3year old and 18 months old. They gave my kids a toy and crayons to help pass the time in the waiting room. Sarah was our hygienist and was so fun and kind, while also being incredibly thorough explaining everything about the exams and X-rays. Chatting with her was so enjoyable she almost made me feel like I wasn’t at the dentist haha. Dr. Baines has an incredibly warm presence about her, she was patient with my 3 year old during his exam and helped put him at ease. I would highly recommend going here for all your dental needs.

Highly recommend this place, especially to anyone who is neurodivergent, anxious, or just doesn’t like going to the dentist. This office is trauma-informed and has great customer service. Dr. Gagandeep Bains is wonderful, I’ve never had a dentist who was so patient and friendly and took the time to explain everything so thoroughly without making me feel rushed. She also isn’t pushy or money hungry and won’t try to talk you into anything that isn’t strictly necessary. Sarah the hygienist is also fantastic. I have had some pretty traumatic experiences with other dental offices in the past, but my fear has become much more manageable thanks to all the awesome staff here. I’d definitely still be a patient here if I still lived in Kingston!

I would highly recommend this practice to others in Kingston. Extremely friendly staff, knowledgeable practitioners, always on time for appointments (I think the longest I've ever had to wait is maybe 5 minutes?), able to fit you in for appointments without needing to wait for weeks, and go above and beyond to make sure that patients are comfortable. I was having several dental issues following an appointment, and they quickly fit me into their schedules multiple times (at no extra charge) until the problems were all resolved. Despite having the dental issue occur in the first place, I figure that could happen anywhere, with any dentist, but at least here the follow-up was professional, efficient, courteous, and consistent.

I called to book my first appointment, they gave me one the next day, next day an emergency came up and when I called ASAP to reschedule I was told I would no longer be accepted as a patient due to my cancellation. I am autistic and there are few other reputable sedation dentists that deal with phobias I know of in Kingston, so what am I supposed to do now ? I feel strongly that if this is a policy you have, you should let people know when they are booking, especially when you are booking them for less than 24hrs later, as life happens, during these times more than ever. Being met with empathy would have been refreshing.

I highly recommend their services. I was very satisfied with the service provided. The staff was very professional and nice. They quickly responded to my requested appointment. I came to this clinic for the second opinion with regards to the surgery that was recommended to me by another dentist from different clinic. As it was proved after a few years that the surgery was not required at all and Dr. Sandhu with his professional assessment and advice saved me from unnecessary expenses and surgical intervention. In general, the staff is very knowledgeable and professional. I enjoy visiting this clinic.

I have been a patient here for a few years now. I find them very professional, and thorough with whatever work that needs to be done. They make you feel comfortable and at ease. They explain everything in detail and show you exactly what needs to be done and why. They always answer any questions you have and I never leave feeling as though I still have questions that need answering. They are on time with appointments and answer their phones quickly without putting you on hold. If you are on hold, it is never for a long time. They respect your busy schedule. I definitely recommend them.

My entire family has been at this dental clinic for years with all our dental needs. I appreciate the friendly service and professional dental care. They always offer options and never push you to take unnecessary treatments that you don't want. The procedures are generally well explained. The hygienists, particularly Sarah, are great with adults and children. The clinic offers reminder calls and directly submits your insurance claim(s). During the pandemic, additional hygiene precautions and protocols are in place - to a reasonable extent. I definitely recommend this clinic.

All the staff are fantastic. I went in for a cleaning after a year away for medical reasons and got some news I wasn't expecting but Diane and Dr. Bain explained my options and are sending me all the information. Between the two of them they made me comfortable with the information but in the end the decision of what to do is mine. They were very supportive and understanding and offered a consult with whoever I choose. Since taking over from Dr. Smith this office has done a fantastic job with my dental hygiene and health. Dianne Carroll has been my hygienist for nearly 30 years, she is the best. Dianne is professional, gentle, efficient and caring. I had a wisdom tooth extraction with Dr. Gagandeep Bains. As someone who is more than just nervous about going to the dentists she made me feel at ease from start. She talked to me through the procedure and helped me feel at ease, checking in on me to make sure I was feeling alright. The procedure itself went extremely well and I felt no pain or unease. This was easily the best dental experience I have ever had and will definitely be choosing Dentistry at Kingston for all future dental needs.

I have returned to the dentist since Covid put the damper on regular care. I had been a patient for many years when Dr Smith was the owner. The folks who have taken over have lived up to the high standard set by Dr Smith. I have had some work done recently and today a dental maintenance cleaning and hygeine by a new (to me) hygenist named Sarah, whom I would recommend highly, along with the rest of the staff whom I have met both in the old practice and some of the ones who have since joined.

What a wonderful group of professionals. Sarah, the hygienist is so bright, knowledgeable and super compassionate. Dr. Bains is a joy and delivers caring, gentle dental care. The bonus is you can have sedation for more complicated procedures. I had 5 crown preps under sedation and don't remember a thing. This is a real bonus for me as I have a very short gag reflex so anything longer than an hour is pretty brutal usually. I love this dental team. !

Been going to this dentist for years used to be owned by Dr Smith then he retired 5 years ago or more. The Sandhu brothers and Mr and Mrs Bains are wonderful dentists that took over the practice in recent years. My favourite dental hygienist is Dianne we’ve had a wonderful relationship over the years and she keeps me on track and has my best interests for my oral hygiene. I always leave having sparkling clean teeth. Keep up the good work team!

The Dentistry At Kingston staff are some of the kindest people I have ever met. I have high anxiety (especially when it comes to my health), and they were SO patient with me, even when I had a mini breakdown over financial stress. I highly recommend this practice. I have a generalized anxiety disorder. It’s very difficult for me to go to the dentist and has been since I can remember. I can never calm down and relax, however Dentistry at Kingston is different. Everyone is SO friendly and understanding and I find it so easy to relax there. They talk you through the process and assure you everything is going fine. Super clean, especially right now during COVID. I would HIGHLY recommend!!!

Receptionist isn’t very friendly or inviting but she wasn’t overly rude just a tad . The other staff are absolutely wonderful. I have a fear of going to the dentist and the assistant as well as the the Dr. were so great explained everything and were willing to do whatever needed to make me comfortable. I’m not looking forward to going back to the office but I am looking forward to having the work done by the employees there.

I have been getting my teeth cleaned here for the longest time. My teeth look great!! My wife and 4yr old son goes here as well. I have nothing but good things to say about them. If you have benefits, they take of all that. They accommodate my schedule and they have a day before reminders, so you never forget. I would recommend this place to anyone. The entire staff is very friendly and pleasant to deal with. Professionalism is very apparent in the staff. Malana and Jackie have always gone above and beyond to accommodate appointments for me as I live an hour away. Dr Bains has been very good with allowing me to work out a payment plan. I have been going to this location on Palace Rd since I was 20 so along time. People have come and gone but I am treated special by everyone. Diane is my hygienist and has been doing my teeth for many years. She knows I have sensitivity and puts on a local anesthetic so I get through the cleaning without pain. Much appreciated . Dread the day she tells me she is retiring like all the others before her.

Dr. Bain is a great dentist but boy oh boy the hygenists are the people who get to know your family and what their needs are. My son struggles alot and his hygenist takes the best care of him! Shes so caring, compassionate and kind. As a mother with a special needs child, I would like to thank the wonderful team and his AMAZING hygenist.

We are new patients and this was my daughter's first time going to this dentist. The staff made us feel welcome and comfortable. My daughter said she liked this dentist, I think the fact that they gave out fidget toys after the visit really helped. No problem getting our insurance to cover the visit. Would highly recommend this dentist.

I've gone here for 16 years. And while they're usually pretty good, the last few years have not been as great. I don't know why it's almost always different dentists in. But it causes way more anxiety for me and makes me dread going in for any fillings, it would be nice to have the same dentist more than one appointment.

Have been seeing Dr Bains at this practice since 2016. They have provided excellent care the entire time. The staff are always friendly and the hygienist services have been top notch. They offer a wide range of dental services. Treatment staff wear full PPE and the office has good ventilation.

they are always very nice to me and very accommodating of my needs. nice clean office as well. there is limited parking but I have always been able to find a spot, which leads me to believe that they're not overbooking which is great. never any wait time for your appointments either

I had a dental cleaning this week with hygienist, Diane, and had a great experience, as usual. The COVID protocols were followed, with the hygienist areas well-partitioned and a good ventilation system working. The staff are friendly and efficient, making for a pleasant appointment.

Everyone in the clinic has been very willing to help. They also explain what's going on every step of the process. There's no much parking space but that's not a problem because you can park right across the street. I don't regret changing by dental service to this clinic.

Diane is my dental hygenist and has been for years. She really knows her stuff and is a professional. I feel that she takes all measures to keep your mouth, teeth and gums as healthy as can be.. I would recommend Diane to anyone. Also, she is very friendly and kind.

First time needing to have a procedure that requires injection/freezing with Dentistry At Kingston. Considering my dislike of injections and other things dental-related, everything went well. I appreciated the frequent checks to make sure I was doing okay.

The experience was simply very okay. The expert started attending to me at the exact time of my appointment prompt. The interactions with the expert was humane and enriching. In all the experiences were fulfilling.
