Firstly, I didn't like how the receptionist was talking to me over the phone, she tried to make it seem like I wasn't understanding something simple and speaking to me as if she was speaking to a child, and she wasn't directly answering any of my questions. Secondly, the staff were dressed and acting unprofessionally, one was literally sitting on the desk, they were talking and laughing very loudly which was distracting as I was trying to fill out the form they gave me. The person that was taking care of me was in a hoodie and sweat pants, only gave me her name, and did not specify her occupation only said that she would be helping take the X-rays. The first rule in any healthcare profession is to state your full name and position to the patient. And the fact that she was wearing sweat pants and a hoodie wasn't exactly professional either. I had an appointment for new patient examination, and the girl took my X-ray twice, even though I specifically told her I want as little X-rays as possible for my health. She then claimed she didn't think my earrings would be a problem for the X-ray. She just forgot to ask me to take them off, which is extremely beyond unprofessional, and made me think if the people that work there are even trained on what to do. Asking patients to take any jewelry off before X-rays is the most crucial thing which makes one wonder how they even forget to ask. When I asked her about it, she proceeded to lie to me and say that one round of the X-ray was for my right side and the other for the left, even though she only had to redo it because of my earrings. So she took my X-ray twice which was very unprofessional and something I specified I didn't want. The dentist himself was okay. It was a bit hard to understand what he was saying though. And then lastly I asked her to email me the pictures, and she asked for my email again, even though it was written in the 10 page form they made me fill. And she didn't even send me the emails. The receptionist staff seem a bit unprofessional and don't pay attention to details they need to pay attention to. I am not satisfied with this experience, which is surprising as most of the reviews are nearly excellent. Which made me take a closer look, and it seems as though most are written by AI and not actually real reviews. I wouldn't recommend this place.

I had a good first visit to LightHouse. I had a previous dentist refer me to a surgeon and I waited months and months...they never called me. I needed a broken infected tooth extracted and this was a very painful experience for me so I decided to look around for other dentists who might be able to help me and LightHouse was the first one I called. They set me up with an appointment immediately and were able to perform the extraction right away. The staff members I spoke with at the front desk were wonderful folks and helped me a lot. I do not have insurance and was paying out of pocket so they did what they could to keep my costs down and also reduced the consultation fee. I really appreciated that! The extraction itself went perfectly. The dentist (Dr Jeckyll?) did a great job freezing me up, the procedure was totally painless. It took the dentist about 30 seconds to remove the tooth, and another 30-45 seconds to suture the wound closed. I know he did an amazing job because I haven't had any issues with bleeding or pain and it looks like its healing really well. Ive made appointments to go back. They did a great job, I trust them, and I know I get good value for my money. 5 star team at Lighthouse Dental! You have my gratitude!

I chose to go to Lighthouse Dental because of the positive reviews I'd read online and the great hours they have. I'm glad I did, as the whole experience was fantastic. The receptionist was lovely, and the hygienist I saw (Jaime) was fabulous. In the past, I've had unpleasant dental appointments. I've been scolded for flinching when I was in pain and when I wasn't able to control my gag reflex. Not with Jaime. She was so patient and just adjusted things when I couldn't tolerate something. It was honestly just so refreshing. Again, in previous dental appointments at other clinics, I've left in a lot of pain - but not with Jaime! She got the job done, but was careful and considerate enough not to leave me feeling it for days after my appointment. The dentist was very nice, and gave me really good recommendations I've already looked into. Overall, I'd absolutely recommend Lighthouse Dental to anyone!

I chose Lighthouse Dental on moving back to Kingston, because of the positive reviews from family, and the great hours Lighthouse offers. I'm glad I did, as the whole experience was fantastic. The receptionists were lovely (I see you Mehek, Kim, Donna, and Mariah!) and the hygienist who did my first cleaning, Veronica, was fabulous! The dentist Dr.Jeko was very nice - calm, soft-spoken, and exceptionally skilled. He worked well with Meagen, the dental assistant- it seemed like two colleagues supporting each other seamlessly, both excellent at their respective tasks! And he peers at you over his magnifying dental loupes… like a kindly wizard! He gave me good suggestions for home dental care, as well as future treatment (I have had problems with receding gums and buccal abrasions from improper brushing in the past). Overall, I'd absolutely recommend Lighthouse Dental to anyone!

I've had continuous issues finding a proper dentist here in Kingston for a few months now. I called Lighhouse Dental yesterday with hopes of getting an emergency appointment, and I was in their office the very next day and taken in under their wing. Amy & Mariah at the front desk are so very attentive, caring, kind and a true pleasure to interact with!! Exceptional practices and levels of hygiene. In addition, a thank-you goes out to their cleaning staff, as they noticeably do a fantastic job, too. MASSIVE thanks to Dr. Jecko and his absolute angel of an assistant today!! Their attention to detail, the environment, their methodical yet lighthearted practice are just a few of the many respectable qualities to mention. 5⭐️ I'll see you again soon! Saw their ad on YouTube and gave them a call as I’ve been having pain in a few broken teeth. They were able to get me in the same day as my phone call, assessed my teeth and gave me treatment plans for my situation. Everyone was extremely nice throughout my whole visit. Coming back in a week for extractions and actually looking forward to it (I know that’s weird, no one looks forward to the dentist lol) Thank you Dr Jeko, Crystal and the front desk ladies! Update June 5: I had my extractions today and can’t thank Dr Jeko and his assistant enough. I was having a lot of pain and sensitivity and they worked with me and used more freezing to ensure it wouldn’t hurt. They were patient and receptive to my needs. Thank you to the whole staff once again for making the experience great!

We called LightHouse dental when my husband was unable to get an emergency appointment at his usual dentist. They were able to get us in that day, and we were able to book a follow up appointment for a root canal (for 2 days later). Their administrative assistant Donna is absolutely wonderful. She stayed late that night and took multiple phone calls regarding our "tooth emergency" with my husband afterwards. She was kind, caring and supportive. We felt well taken care of at LightHouse dental. I would highly recommend them to anyone. **Adding to this review after weeks later, I continue to give them an amazing review after they changed we able to accomodate their schedules to get us in before the end of the years. They continue to show that's patients are a priority.

Nice first visit to LightHouse Dental. I was greeted by some very friendly receptionists. Kim and Mariah were great at helping me to understand my insurance coverage and get everything sorted out before the appointment. The dentist I saw was very informative and skillful and clearly explained the type of treatment I needed and the price and how long everything would take. I really appreciated that. A big thanks to the team at the dental office for making what was an initially scary experience into a very pleasant one. I don't normally like going to the dentist,...who would. but this visit was as pleasant as can be and I would highly recommend that anyone who is anxious of going to the dentist try out the team at lighthouse dental. Changing my review, this has to be said. While the support staff and hygienists were amazing, the dentist is not. I was told after my very first appointment that I had six cavities. And only after I asked how many. The dentist barely said two words to me and diagnosed this massive amount of cavities. I am 32 and have only had two cavities in my entire life. I had seen another dentist four months prior and had a clean bill of health with no cavities. It seemed to me unusual that I would have 6 cavities develop in that rapid of a time frame. So I got a second opinion. The dentist told me that he wasn't even sure where this other dentist would have found six cavities. I have none.... I do not recommend this dentist. Do not take your family here.

After my recent horrible experience with my previous dental office, I decided to start looking elsewhere and then I found Lighthouse Dental. I am extremely satisfied with how they were able to input my information, work with me on a couple questions on the intake form, and be overall in a positive mood. All of the staff there were friendly and positive. They were able to book me into the same time slot and day as my previous dentist office had booked me in, so I didn't have to take any extra time off. I had an initial intake and cleaning/xrays done and honestly everything went as smoothly as my teeth would allow them to lol. 6/5 stars (yes I know that's over 100%), highly recommend these guys to anybody.

Had an emergency today, most offices were closed When I called lighthouse dental, Kim was so sweet and kind! She fit me into an already fully booked schedule, and still managed to get me into the dental chair only 10 minutes from my arrival! Karen provided me with a cold water bottle wrapped in a towel ...for my swollen face Such amazing ladies at the reception desk, they really went above and beyond for me... THANK YOU!!! To add, when I was seen Dr.Rani and her assistant Jill, wow, both so kind and attentive. Not only were they gentle but thorough explaining every detail along the way - such exceptional staff at Lighthouse Dental... 5 STARS all around!!!

I’ve been going to lighthouse dental for a month and by far it’s the best dentist in eastern Ontario. I had an emergency wisdom tooth removal and all the workers were kind, helpful, calm and professional. Kim the receptionist, was able to book an appointment within hours and made everything run smooth. I have been back a couple times for additional dental work and everyone has been great. Kim and Moriah even solved an issue with my insurance and helped reduced my bill! Dr. Jitesh is extremely knowledgeable and always explains what he is doing. I would highly recommend going to this dentist even outside of the Kingston area. 10/10!

Amazing place with good front reception service. Kim ⭐️is amazing and very helpful person. All Dental hygienist is very good and professional. Rest terrible as doctors who just focus charge maximum. Doctors don’t have any great knowledge. I went and I got 7 tooth treatment in same day and that’s worst treatment I ever treated. Actually I went for normal check up without any pain or problems. I am a new patient to this office. I love everything about them from the beautiful brand new office to awesome reception staff who greet you with a warm smile specially Donna. I worked with Jamie the hygienist and she is great , she did an excellent job cleaning my teeth and taking x-rays. Dr. Jeko is very friendly and the check up was easy and painless. He explained how to brush in order to protect my teeth and gum's better. I highly recommend this office since they are very friendly, professional, flexible and their office is open 7 days a week which is added bonuses.

This place was amazing and I couldn't be more thankful for their fast and friendly service during an emergency. Over the Christmas break my son had a boil and bite mouth guard get lodged into his orthodontic appliance and was unable to get it out. Most places in the city were closed but Mariah (front desk) was able to accept us in within 15 minutes and Jaimie (hygentist) and some other dental assistants were able to free the obstruction all within an hour of our first conversation. Thank you so much. My son was so relieved and smiled all the way home :)

I highly recommend LightHouse Dental Kingston! As soon as you enter the new building, the reception staff are smiling and friendly. The location is great, the staff are amazing, kind and caring. I have big anxiety when it comes to dental procedures and I was made to feel at ease. I just had a great first experience with LightHouse Dental in Kingston. It has been a long time since I've seen a dentist and I was a little nervous about it. Maybe even a bit short on the phone.‍♀️‍♀️, but the reception staff were so friendly and accommodating, the dental assistants were knowledgeable and gentle, the dentist was informative and understanding, and the hours of operation are fantastic. Open evenings and weekends too. I already have my next 2 appointments booked.

I woke up with a pretty severe tooth ache and LightHouse Dental was not only able to fit me in for a same day appointment , but the entire staffing team was fantastic. Everyone was friendly, inviting and informative. I expressed that I hadn’t had great dentist experiences in the past and they reassured me of my concerns, walker me through each step and helped ease my concerns. They were able to resolve the issue the same day. I would absolutely recommend them for your dental needs!

So glad we decided to try this place. All of our kids have come for cleanings and a couple have had teeth pulled. They have all had great experiences. They came in a little apprehensive but have all ended up leaving with big smiles on their faces. Our whole family is coming here now and I we all couldn’t be happier!! We will definitely be coming here as long as we’re in Kingston!! Can’t say enough great things about this place.

It was my first visit to Light House Dental clinic. My overall experience was more than awesome and satisfactory in terms of getting treatment, clinical experience, and from all staff members. Kim was so friendly and helpful with solving all the queries related to the process, scheduling and helping with the insurance. Doctor and hygienist were thorough in explanation, patient and friendly during the whole procedure.

So today was my first time visiting Lighthouse dental, and the staff there is amazing. Kim, the receptionist was so helpful from the moment I called her she took the insurance and did the estimate (which was spot on at the end). I had a great experience at lighthouse dental. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. The dentist was really nice and was really good at explaining what was going on with my teeth and how to improve my dental care routine. I also liked how there was multiple tvs to watch shows and for the dentist to connect the computer to the TV to easily explain the x-rays and how I have one cavity.

What a great experience! I was in with pain and everything dealt with in less than a week. They worked with me getting things covered by insurance and urgently had me back when my extraction was very painful. The staff is caring and kind and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I had severe tooth pain on a Sunday of all days and Lighthouse Dental squeezed me in to their crazy busy schedule. It turned out I had a serious infection due to a failed root canal and Dr. Zaidi and her team took excellent care of me. I can't thank them enough for the kindness and expedient service despite it being a day when NO other dentist is available. I HIGHLY recommend!

My husband had to have a molar removed urgently, they got him in fast and helped put him out of his misery. When he had to go in again for difficulties with the incision, they were super understanding and helped us quickly and now he is not in any pain anymore. All I could ask for in a dentist. Wow! Where do I begin? Needed an emergency extraction, called ahead and LightHouse dental were able to fit me in. After a successful extraction I returned for a cleaning with Veronica. Great staff and service. We are only visiting Kingston when and I had to have an emergency dental visit. They were very accommodating and helped me out on the same day. Kim was amazing. She was very reassuring. It made things easier for me. I would recommend this place.

Went in with 3 young kids. Kids were loud. Staff was so patient and kind. They dentist was calm and relaxed with our autistic 8 year old. We presented out insurance card and payment was made in full direct to dentist. Truly wonderful experience.

All the staff at light house dental are very friendly and informative. The don't do any work until fully explained and is understood.
