My boyfriend and I were concerned about the movers we needed to hire because of our last experience it was dreadful. This time we went with Rick from Dependable Moving. ( Way better experience ) When I called he was polite and answered all my questions. I explained I had a bad experience my last move, he simply stated that things can go wrong and that my mistake was not checking with references and reviews. As for the move , when they showed up they were wearing PPE , fully masked . They introduced themselves , put mats down to protect the hard wood, and started work immediately. They worked well together and were responsive to our needs . They took apart our beds and shelving and at our new place put it all together again. They worked efficiently and got the job done this time an hour quicker than our last move , despite having more stuff this go around. There is so many great things I can say about Dependable Moving , they were just that good' very friendly crew as well. Once again we are totally amazed at how well they worked as a team ' all our furniture was wrapped and protected and treated with care. We definately would recommend them to anyone . I was referred to Rick ( Richard Shaheen) from another mover I had used prior and was not available for me this time. Lucky me because he and his crew were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. They took such good care of my things from when they unassembled and reassembled my bed, wrapped all furniture and delicate items in protective padding and as well as how they placed items in wardrobes, everything was top notch. Worth mentioning is that they were faced with some pretty treacherous conditions on the back end of my move and they handled it with the utmost professionalism and courtesy to those of us here that clearly were not responsible for these unexpected circumstances. First today Ricky and his excellent team and worker, help greatly to her new apartment an elderly, disabled person from her residence. She was refused by the first company she hired, once they got to her residence by not follow the Covid restrictions. Rick and Robbie arrived on time in a wonderfully happy and infectious mood which immediately relieved the stress of moving. They followed directions precisely and moved all contents as if they had a fragile sticker on them. The were swift and efficient and left everything clean. When I had a moment of reflection on the many happy memories of the cottage I was leaving, they were very empathetic and sweet. It was a long-distance move. They drove through snow squalls and got caught up in an accident delay on the highway. They still drove 900 km and off-loaded the same day. Highly recommend this company for both local and long-distance moves.

I had dependable movers move me 3 years ago. I was so impressed with the cleanliness of the truck and the efficiency of the team that I ask the owner for a job. The owner gave me a part time position, I have been with the company ever cents After seeing the review that a gentleman said we never showed up, and that an E-transfer was requested, I asked my boss about this. As we don't except E transfers, the company is old school and we use bank-checks- MasterCard and Visa only. He was unaware of this malicious review. A few days before the move I received a call from the owner just to touch base and confirm. On the day of the move, they arrived on time and promptly got to work. I moved an antique dining room dish cabinet, the buffet, the table, the captain’s chair and 5 regular chairs, and antique grand-father clock, There was also a large 6’ tv/surround sound cabinet. All this and the rest of the content of a 3 bedroom house was moved professionally and safely. Once on location everything was unloaded with care and attention. Dependable Movers were fantastic! They showed up on time, were professional and completed the move in less time than expected. They wrapped all the furniture and items that were not in boxes so nothing got damaged. They were well organized and efficient. I can't say enough about how great they are! This is the first time I have moved that nothing got damaged and I wasn't charged more than I was quoted! In fact, the final cost was less than I was quoted. I will use them for any moves I have in the future and will recommend them to anyone that wants a mover they can rely on to do a great job!

We hired dependable moving to move from my townhome to my new single home in May 2017. Pricing was very competitive vs. other area moving companies, + attention to detail was reason I ended up going with the company as they took the time to meticulosity move our things and pack their truck to ensure no damage to any of our belongings while being transported. Staff is professional and works hard throughout the process. Overall very satisfied with the company, the price, and overall level of professionalism throughout the move. Rick and his team were friendly, professional, and efficient. I had to pick up furniture from three different locations on top of my regular move and Rick was transparent and patient with the whole process. It's evident Rick has been doing this for many years as he was familiar with the building I was moving into and was aware of possible logistics obstacles beforehand. Right from the get-go I was comfortable with his team and they even impressed my superintendent with how efficient they were. Bonus: even my cat loved him and his team!

The crew arrived exactly when the move was scheduled and worked very efficiently and carefully, with attention to detail to ensure no damage to either my household items or the apartment spaces. Very patient with requests to "see if that shelf looks good there" and they even stayed a little longer to assist with assembly of some large pieces of furniture. These guys are WONDERFUL!! We are a small non-for profit organization who cater to low-income women and children all year round. We needed assistance transporting 200+ gifts for our annual Christmas party we host for our clients. They said they would do it no problem (such a wonderful act of kindness!). Richard and his awesome team helped me move my elderly parents out of their condo and into a retirement facility.
