Terrible, terrible experience. Broken items, 8 day delay on delivery, $1,000 difference between quote and actual price (with no warning). I got in touch with the company well before my move (I was moving in Late December). I needed my things to arrive at my new place before January 6th. The owner of the company assured me on November 21st that he would guarantee delivery before January 6th. Then, right before the move, and when it was too late to change the plan, he told me there was no way he could guarantee delivery by then. I reminded him of his promise, and said he would look into it. He then got back to me and said my things would arrive on January second. I flew to my new city on January first, thinking I would only have to spend one night sleeping on the floor of my new apartment, but my things did not arrive until January 10th. I was starting a new job and after 6 nights of sleeping on hardwood and nodding off in important meetings, I had to book a hotel room for the next three nights, which cost $450 (a huge unanticipated cost to the move). I had given him a very detailed list of my items, including dimensions of all my furniture, and I was actually accurate about the number of boxes I had. I was quoted $1,400. After my items were picked up by the company on December 29th, I was not given any updated estimate, so I assumed that it would be what the quote was. Then, on the morning of January 10th, the day of delivery, I got a bill for $2,400 and was told I had to pay by 4 pm if I wanted my things (I got that e-mail at 9:30 when I was already at work). First, of all, I was not inaccurate in the details I sent the company about how many things I had, so there's no reason it should have been so high. Also, the company had 12 days to notify me of the increased amount. They should have been able to tell me the new price right away after picking up my things, or at least by the next day. Instead this was sprung on my at the very last minute. That price increase, plus the hotel room caused me to go $1,350 over my moving budget. Also, they destroyed a 150$ bar stool that was in perfect condition when I gave it to them (see photo), put large dents and scratches on some homemade shelves my father had made for me, and lost the handle on a chest of drawers that was a family heirloom. Oh, and they forgot to bring a mattress cover even though I had requested one, and I watched my mattress go into the truck without one. It arrived with a cover on it, but the mattress was dirty, so clearly the cover didn't get put onto the mattress until much later (but I still got charged for it). When I e-mailed the owner about the the broken item his response was basically "not possible".

I had a bad experience with this company. I know there’s a lot of good reviews here but I thought people should know that it’s not all rainbows and butterflies and there’s bad experience as well. First of all, I don’t think their pricing is very transparent. My invoice was $100 over what I was quoted and when I asked about it the person on the phone got agitated and told me that I must’ve misunderstood it. Secondly, and more importantly, one of the movers showed up looking like he was nursing a hangover from the night before. He kept asking to go to the bathroom and disappeared for periods of time. I think as the customer I actually worked harder than he did helping them move furniture. Overall, I was not happy with their service and I would never hire them again. But I do recognize there’s also a lot of good reviews here so proceed with caution.

I made an appointment with pronto movers for the first time. I've had nothing but great experience with them, from beginning to end. Starting with making an appointment, Mike was flexible when changing my appointment time. I got my own truck and they accommodated that. On the day of the move, 2 great and humble guys came and did everything impeccably although I was a bit disorganized, they were really patient. I must also say they give the most reasonable price out of the movers I called, they gave me the best price. Other movers over priced my quote. I would absolutely recommend and definitely go with their service for a lifetime. Thanks again guys. Really appreciated your service.

After another company cancelled same-day, Mike saved the day by sending Curt and Ali barely 90 minutes later. Curt and Ali were great: polite, funny, professional and had a hustle to them that was a work ethic, not a hasty-break-your-fragiles attitude. Having seen many other companies/employees dawdle during a move to gouge the client, receiving the velvet-glove treatment (especially after the first company cancelled) was an unexpected and refreshing denouement to my relocation. I will definitely be recommending Pronto, Mike, Ali and Curt!

Had a great move today with Mohamed and Mo. They showed up 10 mins earlier than the expected time and were such nice dudes. I had to take apart a couple beds and in that time they almost had every box and tote packed already. These guys are efficient, thoughtful and we all had a good time. I’d definitely use Pronto again and recommend them for your next move. Thanks Mike, Mohamed and Mo!

I used this company for the 1st time just over a year ago. They were recommended by a half way through the move they wanted 1,600.00 which I did not have!! The owner was on the phone yelling at me that I had to pay this in order to get my stuff moved in or they would take it and store it and charge me!!! I got them down to 1,300.00. These guys are crooks!!!! Customer be aware!!!

We hired a team and it was quite last minute as we had a change in our move dates. Mike provided excellent customer service and ensured we had everything we needed prior to arrival, provided a quote and always got back to me very quickly. Day of move, the movers were fast and everything was handled carefully. It was a quick painless operation- would highly recommend.

Awesome service. These guys get the job done no matter how big or small. I use them for my business to unload and offload containers of heavy product and whether it be a hot summer day or a cold winter storm Pronto movers will be there on time and get the job done. Highly recommended
