"Woman begging on Subway Platform Sunday 10th with Signage"
"This station is highly modern and connective"
"The station design isn't the best and is very basic like all Line 2 Subway Stations, but it works! A great place to grab a bite aswell since there is a McDonald's right in the station, it's also easy to get to the 504 King and 505 Dundas Streetcars, if your connecting to the GO Train and UP airport train you're going to have to walk a little bit"
"Very confusing once here as to how to get to the UP train for the airport"
Dundas West Station, One of the TTC Subway Station on Line 2. 3 levels Station address 2365 Dundas Street West, Toronto. Station got accessible facilities & Wheel transit stop. Streetcar route number 504 King & 505 Dundas and Buses, 40 Junction Dundas Street West, 168 Symington. This Station to Dundas Street West Go Transit & UP Express ( Toronto Pearson International Airport Express from TTC Union Station to Airport ) via Bloor Street. Station got McDonald's Restaurant & Convenience Store too. No washroom facilities & Not Clean station.
Woman begging on Subway Platform Sunday 10th with Signage. Needed money to support her 2 kids. When offered information to Ontario Works and Children Services started swearing in foreign language with ✋ gestures. I know swearing. Doesn't matter what language it's in. Then gave me the Finger. She then reached for a bottle of water to throw it at me. The guy in front of me gave her change. It's his money, his decision. God will Bless Him.
This station is highly modern and connective. It connects with the Kitchener line of Go transit and UP Express to the easy access of airport. It has a Elevator and ramps so it's accesible and it has a freaking McDonald's where you can order inside the paid area. Although it is lacking a second exit. Everyone has to take a nice walk to the one side of the platform to exit although that will change soon in the future.
The station design isn't the best and is very basic like all Line 2 Subway Stations, but it works! A great place to grab a bite aswell since there is a McDonald's right in the station, it's also easy to get to the 504 King and 505 Dundas Streetcars, if your connecting to the GO Train and UP airport train you're going to have to walk a little bit.
Very confusing once here as to how to get to the UP train for the airport. Very nice station agent directed me. Unfortunately it involved leaving the station completely and walking down a block and then another block or two and the signage was not apparent. Anxiety inducing experience but I made it.
This subway station has already been one of my favorites because of multiple reasons including the street car loop, and Mac Donald's right at the entrance. The Mac Donald's there is divided in two, one entrance for people arriving to the station/ paid fair, and a street entrance for everyone else.
This location was hectic! Lots of commuters knowing where to go, and even more like me who didn't know which way to go. Staff was very helpful but wish there were more clear signage showing directions especially since construction made it almost impossible to know.
This is the Dundas West subway station - located on the Kipling line of the Toronto subway also called the Bloor Danforth line. The station has street cars at street level and is a clean station with regular service. - A Richard Trus review
This is the nicest subway stations in Toronto because it is easy to get from Bloor Go and very easy to get to the streetcar. If I had to pick my favorite station in Toronto I would say Dundas west. Also they are Extremely nice staff
Busy spot with a few excellent choice pieces of street art. The installations are sweet in tgis area and worth taking a moment or two to enjoy. Nearby GO and UP being a an interesting mix of travelers moving through the city. Fun!
pretty good station it is one of the only ttc stations i know with a mcdonalds inside and with that in mind since its downtown SO MANY people go to the station and mcdonald be aware this station can be really crowded
Dundas West Station: home of 504 King, 505 Dundas and the ever-popular 168 Symington. It's a little run down and the McDonalds makes it smell a little gross, but this station always has the BEST buskers!
I often come here to renew my work permit as new immigrant to canada we have to apply for work permits and culture link have wonderful settlement workers very kind and helpful mainly Ivana and Alexandra
This station is pretty good from a functional point of view but that's about it. Not a pretty station. Looking forward to watching this entire intersection evolve. Hoping to see a redesign in the future
Only one section of the subway platform has exits to ground level. It doesn’t feel safe when there’s only one part of the platform with an exit. Cell signals are available as it’s close to outside.
4-Stars for Great connectivity options. What more u need - busses, street cars and subway trains. Overall clean, newly renovated. Wheelchair accessible. Has McDonalds for busy mornings.
Clean station that truly serves the great diverse people of Toronto. Do yourself a favour and cross Dundas Street at the crosswalk, I've witnessed 10+ people being hit by cars here.
This is my home station, Route 40 goes west, 168 goes North, 504 southeast and 505 east. There is a McDonalds at the front enterace, and the station has elevators
If your going for the 40 bus the time displayed is often a lie. So I'm waiting 20 mins bus hasn't shown number resets. Keeps people crowed during covid.
Good integration of subway, buses and streetcars. Convenient that you can place an order at the McDonald's counter without exiting the station.
Always one of the dirtiest station on the line elevator seems like piss all the time you stick to the floor on the platform trash everywhere .
Since it's on line 2 I'm not surprised. The place seems sketchy and smells like urine. I mean it's line 2 so that's everywhere.
Connections to go,buses, streetcars, and subway nice service but not the nicest station or cleanest
Pretty clean, it's just the construction that makes it bit dirty on some days.
Canada es hermoso todo allí es hermoso y esta estación tambuen
A dump..... only bins are emptied occasionally floor is clean
it's a subway station which still has an employee present.
This station is dirty and weird people are always around
Always overcrowded, late TTC and ghetto people
A little far from the train station.
This station has a McDonald's in it.
