I was looking for a new hairstylist in the west end of Kingston and reached out to Elevation based on the extremely positive reviews. Kendra was amazing! We had a detailed consultation first to talk about my hair and what I liked/didn't like and a plan for a new cut and colour. She knew exactly what I was trying to achieve. I am thrilled with the result! My cut is fantastic and my hair feels so healthy and shiny and I'm excited to start using the Goldwell products that she used on my hair. Kendra also took the time to show me some styling tricks to make my cut easy to manage. The salon is beautiful and has a relaxing, laid-back vibe and I felt 100% safe with their Covid protocols. I also enjoyed the music and conversation! I look forward to going back in 5 weeks for my next appointment. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

I moved to Kingston just over a year ago and was so lucky to find Kendra so QUICKLY! Her colour expertise has my hair feeling the healthiest it’s been in a long time (likely since before highlights 20+ years ago!). It was a blessing to find Kendra just before COVID - her highlights let me “cheat” between colouring without the stripe/line that shows it’s been a while...that being said, I was never great at sticking to a rigid schedule so it was all going to work out anyway! Her studio is beautiful and spacious - amazing to see her work to add all today’s necessary precautions into her newly renovated studio. Very safe in our new normal. What can I say? She’s a pro - would highly recommend booking your next appointment at Elevation Hair Studio.

I was in a last minute time crunch and desperately needed my hair done! Kendra answered my email right away, made time for me the next day! THIS PLACE WAS INCREDIBLE! I cant even begin to explain how comfortable and welcoming she was along with the atmosphere of her salon. It is a perfect size to be able to feel right at home. AND so CLEAN!!! Such a personal experience, Kendra was AMAZING!!! She explained what she was doing, what products she was using. She answered every question i had, she knew her products inside and out but NEVER pushed them on me! Overall amazing experience and my hair turned out great too! I can't say enough positive things about my stylist Kenzii and the salon! The salon was a welcoming space with friendly stylists. Kenzii did an amazing job asking questions about what I was looking for, how often I saw myself coming in for maintenance, and a few other personalized questions. We came created a plan together, she shared her great ideas and the end result was beyond what I could have expected! She did a great job with the various colours and beautifully enhanced my naturally red hair! She is so talented with colouring, cutting and styling. I always leave so happy and feeling confident with the results. I'm looking forward to our next visit!

I had the pleasure of meeting Kendra today for a colour correction, I was going from a dark royal blue to an icy silver baby blue. She was able to achieve the exact shade I wanted and even made my hair healthier in the process! My appointment was 5 hours but Kendra did not make it feel that way, she is so friendly and easy to talk to! I will definitely be going back to Kendra in the future and I would recommend her to anyone especially those needing a colour correction or wanting to go platinum without killing their hair. Did I mention she took me super last minute when she could have had the weekend off? Excellent stylist and amazing person!

My hairdresser, who is also the proud owner of this business - Kendra - was awesome. I had thick long hair which I wanted to get chopped to shoulder length and she handled it like a true professional with years of experience. I am very happy with the results and will definitely return for haircuts in the future. The salon itself is beautiful and clean inside. They have gone the extra mile to ensure proper distance is kept between workers and customers and also provided hand sanitizer and masks for clients. I was looking for a new salon a year ago and thankfully I found Kendra and her team. Kendra always listens to what I want and offers her professional opinion with kindness. She makes sure she understands exactly what you want done by listening and focusing on you. Her salon is so clean and stylish without overpowering music - so you can actually have a conversation! I bring my son and daughter for cuts with Carley who is equally awesome! I wouldn’t go anywhere else and highly recommend 100%. The Goldwell products used/sold are an added bonus!

I just had my first appointment at Elevation last weekend with Carley and the entire experience was a 10/10! Carley understood exactly what I wanted and did such a great job with both the hair cut and the styling. She was super easy to talk to and made me feel super comfortable the entire time. The studio itself is super clean and welcoming and I love that that it's not downtown where parking is impossible to find. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a new salon!

I was very happy with the service I got from Carley, she captured what I wanted and it looked awesome! I have Asian hair with darker tones, but she was able to give some dimension to my hair by doing foil colour. She also gave me a fresh cut and treatment that made my hair feel so soft and smooth. The place was also very clean, and proper safety protocols were in place. Staff’s also very nice and pleasant. Highly recommend this place - I will definitely be back.

I moved to the Kingston area this past summer and was looking for a new hair stylist. After reading reviews about Kendra and the staff at Elevation, I booked an appointment, and BOY! I was NOT disappointed! Kendra listened to some ideas I had about how I wanted my hair done, and then she worked her magic. Kenzie is an absolute master of her craft. Her attention to detail and her knowledge of all things hair is unlike anything I’ve experienced with any other stylist. She made me feel so heard when I explained that I like to be low-maintenance with my hair and gave me a color and style that will easily last me 4 months.
