i came here to get my hair done today, and a women with blue hair and shaved sides did my hair. i asked for my hair to be thinned, trimmed, and some face framing. everything was okay until she did the face frame, she completely boched it and it looks like a stair case on one side and looks like she did nothing on the other side. i then asked her if she could even it out and she did nothing. i had no issue with this place until this girl did my hair. (you guys might say im a drama queen but there’s absolutely no way my hair should look like this) this girl should seriously lose her job

Just wanted to get the side of my mostly shaved head cleaned up today. It was just fully cut last week by my hairdresser but like the shaved side trimmed again to clipper number .5 Generally takes 5 min and am charged for a beard trim at other FC locations. My first time here (new to city), walked in at 1pm (ish) 1 person just went to the back to get her hair washed and I was told I'd have to wait as the hairdresser was going on break. I know you all deserve a break but seriously it takes less than 5 minutes. You couldn't wait 5 min? 1st and last visit.

I love getting my haircut here. I especially love the "guarantee". I'm however a little annoyed that whenever I bring my dog in to get his haircut they give me a hard time. The first time Rachel said my dog was cute so she offered to give him a quick trim. Ever since then Sandy has been giving Pincer a hard time, and I fear what it is doing to him psychologically. I wish they'd make their "pet friendly" policy a bit more clear.

We recently moved in Kingston and we’ve tried to book an appointment in several hair salon to get a haircut for my son unluckily everyone is fully booked. It’s nice that First Choice Haircutters are first come first served basis and my son was able to get his hair done .The staff are amazing and very knowledgeable in what they do. My son was very happy with the result! Definitely coming back for sure!

I use First choice on Montreal St since moving to Kingston 4 months ago. Highly recommended. Staff are sociable and treat you as one of there own the very moment you walk in the door. Attention to detail is important to me as I'm very sensitive when it comes to my hair lol Needless to say this is the establishment that meets all requirements to be successful in a people oriented environment!

I went in for highlights and a cut. Im very satisfied with the work done by Jasmine . Not only was she professional, she was personable. The staff was welcoming . Prices are reasonable especially if your on a budget. I recommend this location and will be returning again.

My boyfriend and I have been getting our haircut here for the last 10 years we use the one by the cat Center we only have JC do our hair he is a fabulous man always personable and kind we will definitely continue to enjoy his talented hair cutting

I came in with pictures, asked if the style would work with my hair, and she BUTCHERED my hair. It's inches too short and the only fix now is a pair of clippers. They went to the back while I waited for my taxi. I was so embarrassed.

Natasha and Jasmine are such kind people, I brought the mother there and she has dementia but these ladies just make it fun and go with the flow. Thank you for the understanding and kindness ladies!

My dad and I were in first thing this morning for haircuts and I am so very pleased with both our haircuts and the amazing service at this location. The ladies who work here are second to none.

I've never been a fan of First Choice. Sure iys cheap. But like they say, and I quote "You Get What You Pay For". Enough said. They should have a sign that says Enter at your Own Risk. Lol
