I give this place 4 Stars. Because it looks so good from the Outside. I seen it go from being. a private club that only allowed whites(I snuck in & fished there), then it was basically abandoned in the 80s (I went again) Lilly's got it after that and from what I've seen, again from the Outside, They have spent Millions and it is Beautiful. Im glad they are in control of it. Im pretty sure it is for Lilly's employees and invited guest only. And that's OK by me. I have wondered if the 3 and even almost 4 foot long Catfish are still in there I never caught one. But seen a lot of pictures of em, back in the 60s on the wall in the old Bait House. I would of gave ya 5 stars if I could go in. & No I didnt sneak in again ...lol Google picked me up being there, asked for a review. I was actually releasing some raccoons at the west side of the Raymond St bridge over White River which is across the street. Lillys has and continues to spend millions if not billions in this city making it a better place for all of us Their employees even have helped with the always need to clean up White River. THANKS !

Another example of how Eli Lilly hurts the people of Indianapolis. This is the biggest, closest greenspace to downtown, and yet only Lilly elite can go in. Every act of "good" this company has ever done has been for their own gain at the expense of the people. Down with Lilly.

Only for Lilly's employees only that really sucks for the rest of the people. Not very many nice places for respectable families in Indianapolis this would be a great get away for people who don't have time to travel.

Drove there from Zionsville & realized that this is a private park! How a park can be private? So many lakes in Carmel are private as well, to me no one should be able to trade the natural things like lakes

Great trails and amenities, plenty of space to bring a family or just a nice day out for a couple. Lakes, parks, baseball, volleyball, camp, you name it. Fabulous place 5/5

  • Espiridion Ocon

This place is a great escape, especially if you are feeling exhausted with work and with the city. A long walk and a fresh air can help a lot to refresh your mind.

  • Bradley Summers

This beautiful lake is actually a cooling pond for the giant trash and waste water facilities next door. Have fun with your privacy & thanks for the warning signs!

Playground

  • John Cornelius

Great place that no one is allowed to go there, unless you are a Lilly employee, and they are all rich and don't need a recreation center like this.

  • Amelia Pitcock

I just love this place. Beautiful and peaceful. The deer are great to watch and fishing is hit or miss, but to sit by the water makes it worth it.

  • Dodie Justus
