I found this place on google maps and called and visited them before coming in to finalize my decision and make a payment. I chose a 5’ by 4’ space which I measured out in my basement beforehand to make sure all of my things would fit inside. Todd was very friendly and helpful. He took the time to show me storage units of various sizes and how the whole storage facility operated. I went in yesterday to look at the space one more time and pay for the lease. After going through the key points of the contract I paid for the 5’ x 4’ space ($75 a month minus a 4 month discount plus $8 per month insurance). He then printed off the two page double sided contract which I started to read. I noticed that it said in the fine print that the storage units would not necessarily be the same measurements as advertised. This caught my attention as I had planned for the exact size of 5’ x 4’. I asked Todd for a measuring tape, which he provided and I went to measure the unit I had just rented. It was only 3.5’ wide. I explained to him that I needed a 4’ wide space and that was what I thought I was getting. He asked me what I would like to do. I asked him if I could cancel and get a refund. He said that I could and made a phone call and then proceeded to give me a full refund right away. Long story short, I was disappointed that the space was not the same size as advertised and that I had to measure it myself to find that out. I was relieved that they refunded me without any problems. I was able to find a 5’ x 5’ space at UStore It South for a special prepaid deal of $59 per month. So it all worked out. I recommend this storage place but make sure to measure your space yourself beforehand if that is important to you.

Decent place to store your belongings. Their units are clean and the staff are competent. The two things I would warn other potential customers about would be the lack of lighting in the units themselves as well as the access restriction after 10 pm. On the day we moved our chosen movers were over 5 hours late to arrive at our old residence. Due to this we had no way of getting into our storage unit that evening, as a result we had to get the movers to come back the next day when we were already supposed to be out. When returning to our unit to get items and to organize things we were charged a fee of $100 plus GST when we exited the unit after 10 pm. This fee had to be paid that day or our access code to the yard would be deactivated . For people who are on a tight budget in transition from one place to another , especially after the death of a loved one, this can be a very bitter pill to swallow.

This is a long overdue review! I started renting an office space with Elite Self Storage South in July 2022. And since then I also rented an additional storage unit. From the beginning, Mitch has been so helpful and always communicated in a kind and efficient manner. The space is very clean, well lit, and the location is honestly amazing and really suits my needs (close to south common and all the delivery services I use are nearby). I feel so welcome and Mitch and Bernice are very kind and accommodating to my needs. It is not often that you would encounter businesses like Elite, where it is run by truly professional and genuine people that you can TRUST. I would recommend Elite Storage to anyone!

This was a fantastic place to store my things for the summer. I used the inside storage and the rates offered were amazing because of the discounts offered for the first 2 months. Mitch helped me close up my account and gave me great customer service. He always puts his client's needs first! Very clean storage, brand new space, and they even provide equipment for moving items between the storage unit and the vehicle at the entrance. I will definitely be coming back to this location.

Most impressed with the owner and staff. The locker I had was clean with composite walls and well lit. The loading bays can easily fit a 30 foot truck and trailer. I moved out of the unit while it was -30ish, once the door overhead door was shut the loading bay heated back up in 10 or less minutes. That is not easy to do. I used the company for a year and half and it was simply put, easy. Take the time for a walk through of the building, they are definitely a high watermark.

Great place to store your belongings, very smooth process to set up a unit and very easy to access the units themselves. Units and facility are clean and well kept. Staff are very knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. I had the most experience dealing with Facility Manager, Mitch, who was extremely kind and helpful in maintaining the units, my contract, and answering all of my questions. Highly recommend asking for him if you wish to set a unit up.

I have rented numerous units at various places over the last 15 years and Mitch's customer service and attention to detail is exceptional. He has by far, made this the very best storage rental experience I've ever had and so much so I rented a second unit today. Best customer service I've had all year!! Truly, the staff seemed to care about making our arrival/move in day (Sunday) go very smoothly, providing all the information and an emergency number just in case. The facility has great access, convenient dolly's to make the job easier and is clean and feels very safe. I would highly recommend this storage facility to anyone.

My locker is inside this big building. The loading areas are big enough for me to park my vehicle inside and unload the contents. The building and storage spaces are very clean, temperature controlled and well lit. Ample room to move around. Very helpful and friendly staff. I highly recommend Elite Self Storage if you are looking for a place to store your property.

Lovely customer service and thoroughly went over everything with me which was nice as I've never really used storage facilities until now. I wasn't left with questions and he showed me throughout the building to ensure I knew where to go and what to do. It's a really clean facility, and very easy to navigate through to get to where you need to. 10/10

Very professional and fair. Some of the best prices in town when I cross shopped other businesses. The premise has tons of security and is exceptionally clean. Everyone working there is incredibly friendly too! I don’t really see a reason to use any other storage facility in the city. It’s that good.
