I hate leaving bad reviews but there is nothing else I could do. Long story short - they damaged our fridge, walls and hardwood floors in our new house. The move took longer than it should. They lost some items and we are still calling them to get them back (it's been over a month now). All compensation we got - $50 for a handyman who fixed a broken fridge door. So, I would say it is very unprofessional behaviour and I would not recommend them. Long story. We were moving locally and because of Covid we wanted to hire a small company so that we could help local business. Enroute had good reviews and Johnathan left a good impression on us over the phone and email conversations. So, we went ahead. We were moving from an apartment to a house and we also needed to pick up a fridge and a washer and dryer next door and bring them alone. Everything was discussed in advance. The movers were not extremely fast working (we have moved several times and all crews moved faster). They were not extremely careful with our furniture (everything that I have not wrapped in bubble paper was scratched). In our new house they dropped the fridge, dented the doors and the bottom door got broken and the floor was damaged. I understand it is a heavy item, but they should have protected the floor with the mats - they did not. Johnathan later said that the movers did not have the right equipment. But they knew about the fridge in advance, so it was their fault. Jonathan said he'll send his man to paint the walls - it never happened. He said to buy a furniture marker to fix the floor - it did not help because the groves are too deep, and we have to refinish them now. We bought the materials to fix the walls ourselves - no compensation. They left some items in their truck - we are still waiting to get them back over a month later. Nonetheless, my husband was so friendly and sympathetic with the movers - he gave them a very good tip and even bought them a dinner! So, we are very disappointed that our attempt to help a local business was disregarded so disrespectfully from their side and turned to a very bad experience for us. We are not going to get any compensation for the damages and lost time while trying to connect with them. I hope that they will learn from their mistakes and make it better next time. But I wouldn't trust them again. P.S. Since I can't reply to the owner's comment, I'll leave it here. It is funny that our emails, texts and phone calls are not returned for several weeks and then we hear back the same day as we leave a bad review. The only true thing among what the owner wrote is that we did not warn them about the old fridge. I simply did not know that you should have warned them about that, so it is my fault. BUT all the damages made to our house were from moving in a new fridge. The old one was smaller and lighter, and they had no problems moving it down. And they could always refuse to do that job if that was an issue for them - they never did or warned us about potential consequences. The new fridge door did break off – we spent 4 days (Labour day weekend) without a fridge until the handyman fixed it. My husband told the owner over the phone same day that the movers were good (polite and everything) but they were not prepared and needed training. I guess the last part was not heard. They got a good tip ($50 each mover) and a dinner because it was their second job for the day, and they had not had their lunch. We prefer to treat other people like human beings and equal in any circumstances that is why my husband was kind. I guess you need to be a jerk to get a good service. And by the way, among the lost sport equipment we got only one thing back today. They could not find anything else. And that stuff is about another $100 worth. And again, they continue to ignore any kind of compensation even though they say they are licensed and insured so that should be covered. Anyways, it is shame that you try to help and get a slam in your face in return.

Right off the bat I will state that my concerns were heard by the company, albeit through the much calmer voice of my fiance, and Mr. Jonathan did give me a refund for one hour of the services provided. That is the only reason I'm giving 2 stars. I needed two movers to disassemble two bedroom sets and load them, and boxes into a U-Haul I had already rented. I sold all of my other furniture to make the move easier. Alvin and the other mover showed up with absolutely nothing to move my items - no dollies or anything - then told me I would need to go rent some for them. I went and rented some and when I came back almost an hour later (Houston traffic man, not going to miss it), NOTHING was loaded into my truck! All they had done in that time was disassemble my beds (which had quick connects)! I scheduled this company due to their great price and excellent reviews. My fiance and I ended up loading items onto the dollies for them because they were moving so slow and we were afraid we wouldn't have enough cash to pay them, even though I had gotten MORE THAN DOUBLE what I should have needed out. They broke my favorite large, framed wall art and claimed it was because they were "trying to rush through." Even with them "rushing" it still took more than 4 hours! It should have taken no longer than 2! To top it off, the way they packed everything into the truck was horrible. It was packed for a ride around the block, not an 11 hour drive. When opening the door several items attempted to fall out because they had placed the mattresses sideways instead of against a wall. I had asked them to place my storage items towards the back of the truck as I would be removing them on a different day. They ended up stacking them on top of my other stuff so we basically had to unload the entire truck to get what I needed out and then reload all of the storage items. Most of my boxes were squashed or had large holes in them. My less than a year old bedroom furniture now has nicks, dings, and scratches on every single piece. Several items inside of boxes were damaged along with some items being broken and needing to be thrown away completely. Overall, this was the WORST moving experience I've ever had. The owner/manager stated these two had received complaints before. Sucks it took at least half my stuff being damaged for them to get rid of them!

Spoke to Jonathan about my experience with his movers and on one hand he seemed as if he was taking my concerns seriously. He stated that the one of my movers is no longer with the company and upon mentioning the other mover is when I felt everything I said after that was COMPLETELY IGNORED AND QUESTIONED. Jon proceeded to defend his employee (the other mover) instead of making sure that, as a paying customer, my concerns were taken into account. By the end of our conversation, I agreed to send photos of my items to him. Once they were sent I heard nothing from him (Sent on 12/23/2020). I then followed up with a "verifying if you received the photos, per our conversation" and still have yet for him to acknowledge what was sent and what was discussed (sent on 12/29/2020). This was the first time, in my moving history, that I hired a company to move my belongings and this will be my only time. After, 2 days of moving (due to rain) and the movers being an hour late to arrive to my apartment. Them taking all of my belongings, leaving me and my children to sleep on the floor of our apartment with much of nothing to aid in sleep that night. -$700 of working OT just to make sure I could pay for the move and going out of my way to provide the movers with a $60 tip/each (they also received snacks and beverages in a their own personal bags). Witnessing a dispatcher on the phone being argumentative and unprofessional (with one of the movers) in front of me. Along with an UNCONCERNED OWNER/MANAGER with BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES...I WILL NEVER PUT MYSELF AND MY CHILDREN THROUGH THIS AGAIN!!! AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE TO HAVE TO EXPERIENCE ANYTHING LESS THAN TRANSPARENCY WITH A PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS WITH CONSISTENCY ACROSS THE BOARD. RESPONSE: John, you are a coward and a twister of words (might I add). You couldn't follow through with your words in your actions. Additionally, you seem to make it your business to all those who have had some sort of issue with your company to try and make yourself and your bad employees look good when you actually make you and your company look worse. You should take a business class to teach you how to deal with these types of issues. Good day sir!

I thought this moving company would be great. I found them on Instagram and googled the reviews. I got quoted for 2 hours due to me moving from a 1 bedroom apartment. My move got delayed by 1 day due to rain (totally understandable I wouldn’t want to move someone in the rain either). The 2 men showed up and picked up everything pretty fast. They took forever to actually bring the stuff into the other apartment (mind you it’s in the same complex as the apartment I was moving out of) and they were using the elevators so I’m not sure why it took them almost, if not, 5 hours to move my stuff. We had everything packed up before they showed up and made sure the boxes weren’t packed too heavy. Not only did they take forever but when we asked why the move was taking so long the guy said the other guy told him it was a 4.5hr move so I’m pretty sure they were stalling on the time, even after I bought them dinner. They also damaged some items and lost the plates to my bed (that I can’t replace) so I now have to buy a whole new bed, shelf, and tv stand. When reaching out to one of the managers they “seemed” concerned and told me to send pictures which I did through text and email after that we heard nothing. We called them the next day and they forwarded our call. I feel like it was extremely unprofessional for them to handle this situation like this.

I wasn’t going to rate but I don’t think it’s fair to not tell the truth. I appreciated that they came even though it was last minute. I called them the day before I actually moved because another moving company kept me waiting most of the day and was very rude. These guys are very professional when speaking to the customer. However, the job done was very shoddy . Like I said before, I wasn’t going to review, but....after looking at my furniture. Every piece was scratched. One of the guys broke a wheel off. My tv stand was scratched. Then someone put black sticky dots over the crack on it. I think I would have felt better if at the end of the day I was offered some sort of discount. I say this because I’ve hired movers before. Instead of a three man group like this one, I had a two man group. Not one piece was scratched. I thought I was going to come out cheaper with this company but I ended paying just as much as if I would have went with the company I used before...plus a tax charge. I don’t remember paying tax with other moving companies. The only thing I can say now is you live and you learn.

We filed a fraudulent charge report with our bank today. We were randomly charged nearly $2,000 by this company yesterday. We used their services in May of 2021, and paid in full, with all credit card receipts to prove it. This is not a collection charge. This is just false charging. I would give the benefit of the doubt to discuss with them of this being an accident. However, their phone number goes straight to voice mail all day long. And their email address gets rejected as "undeliverable". Can't even contact them to discuss. Just looks like fraud. Reported to bank. EDIT: Just checked their Facebook reviews. Looks like other people are claiming the same thing since yesterday. They are fraudulently charging past customers and have their phones turned off. EDIT AGAIN: They have now deleted their Facebook page. Not only does their phone number go straight to voicemail for multiple days and their email auto reply is "undeliverable", but their Facebook page is g-o-n-e.

I try to support black owned businesses.But I don't know.Me and my sister moved a couple weeks ago.The movers did great moving everything,On the third floor.Upon discovery many items were broken and chipped.They did not handle our stuff with care.Our tv was chipped,lamps were broken.They also obliterated my tv stand that costed $100.One guy kept complaining about moving the items.To the third floor,Which was vastly unprofessional.Not to mention this is your job. You're being compensated for it.They caused over $200 in damage.Furthermore,They got tipped $50.You can't be handling people things so rough.That cost money.When we told John.He prompt us to send pictures,He also said we would get compensated.50 cents per pound.We sent pictures of the damages that they caused.We never got a response back.Don't use them.

This company is literally the worst and I am highly irritated to the lack of response from this company. The movers broke my 85 inch tv and when I called to notify and see what would be done about it I had to call a few times before anyone would answer. Then when someone answered I was told I would receive a call back. Which I never did. I attempted to call back a few more times. I was eventually able to speak with someone again and once again was told I would get a call back. I still have not received a call back and this was from June. I sent an email with pictures and videos and still did not receive any form of response of acknowledgment from whoever it is that is supposed to handle this situation. This is disappointing and aggravating. Moving is stressful enough and this company made things worse.

We were told that the movers were going to arrive at 8:00 a.m. today. At 7:00 a.m., we got a call saying that the driver would have to be changed due to unforeseen circumstances. We obliged and waited for them to replace the driver. We called multiple times to confirm when they would arrive but no one answered. We then got a text around 10:00 a.m. stating that they would send someone around 12:00 p.m. It is now 2 p.m. and no one has shown up. Very unprofessional service and also terrible as a company to fail to have a contingency plan in the event that one of your operators couldn’t make it. We try to support black businesses but just because it’s black owned doesn’t mean you will get the best service. Such a shame. Book with someone else.

Anyone looking for a GREAT company to move you, this is the most awesome company. I hired this company to move my sister-in-law with a 2 day notice. They were there on time with 3 of the friendliest and professional guys. They not only wrapped the furniture with blankets, they shrink wrapped on top of the blankets! Her furniture was heavy and a lot of it had to be carried up 2 flights of stairs in her new house. They had no problem carrying it. They disassembled everything and then reassembled at the new home and placed all furniture where we asked them to place it. They were careful and nothing was damaged or broken. I promise you will not be disappointed in this company. I give them a 10+ rating!

Enroute movers did my local move from Houston to San Leon. Jonathan, who I spoke with on the phone multiple times was professional and courteous and when I had issues and concerns was reassuring and did everything possible to save me money. The moving crew was professional, careful, courteous, and worked tirelessly until the job was finished at almost 10pm. My daughter was helping with the move and we were so impressed that she hired them to do her long distance move. We have a different crew but these guys are as great as the first team. I highly recommend Enroute Movers!

So far, so good! They haven't moved me yet, but first impressions are everything. This is the very FIRST moving company that allows you to book online (however, it was recommended calling is best anyway) AND there was a moving special that was awesome! I'm booked so hopefully all goes well. Very happy so far! UPDATE: EXCELLENT EXCELLENT Dynamic Duo!!!! These guys are the best!!!! Very happy with service. I only moved from one apartment to another same location. These guys were great!!

We bought a treadmill and the seller said they would deliver the item and take it upstairs for my wife and me. Upon delivery, they said they could only leave it on the porch or in the garage. Really upset about that, to put it mildly! Called Enroute Movers and they came out the day I called and had it upstairs within 30 minutes of arrival! Simply outstanding service and very courteous and professional. Highly recommend!

We had major delays on our move in to our new house and they STILL were able to work with us and unload our things later on in the day we’ll past the target time. My family and I called them super last minute and was skeptical because of past experiences with moving companies, but Mr. John and the team definitely changed our minds! Wanted to go with a black owned business but I was disappointed with the service. Spoke with Roger had no problem setting up the move. But when it was time for the actual move. The movers came said they were given the wrong information and could not do the move. Went with another company.
