I had three cars from this branch recently delivered to my home, and their service is unbelievably horrendous. The first car they gave me with a flat tyre, and to resolve it was such a nightmare. I first had to use my own recovery to get it fixed, then they told me that I have to spend a few hours of my time to go to a tyre shop to get it fixed and they also told me to "just fill up that tyre with repair glue and drive with it remaining two thousand miles"!! The rear tyres on that car were also extremely cracked (see attached pictures), I've never seen tyres in such a condition (do they get their replacement tyres from a scrapyard?). The second car was in much better condition even though one of the tyres was also deflating, so I had to fix the tyre pressure a few times. But the third car was by far the worst experience I ever had – I booked a Mercedes, and they gave me MG, which is the worst car in the market (a Vauxhall Corsa feels luxurious compare to that). I don't understand their thought process thinking that somebody books a premium car and they give them the worst thing there is, and expecting them to be happy?! Well, I learned my lesson – don't let a car hire company deliver a random car without confirming the exact model they intend to deliver. Also, I'll avoid Enterprise whenever I can and I won't ever again get any car from Hanworth's branch (as Enterprise is a franchise, the quality varies and not all are this unbelievably awful). By the way, they also provide cars with very little fuel, so I had to waste my time driving to the petrol station right after getting it and then had to take the hassle of filling it up to the same level on return.

I would never give these guys a positive review. I used them once 4 years ago. When I returned the vehicle at around 8pm I parked on the forecourt of their office there were 2 members of staff still on site I saw them inside. My son lives next door I saw him so I locked the car, leaving several of my own personal items inside and walked over to speak to my son. I could see the vehicle and was with my son for no more than 5 minutes. When I returned to the vehicle that I had hired the vehicle had been unlocked and my property was missing the staff had gone too. I returned the next morning and spoke to the manager and told him what had happened. First off he told me that it could not have been one of his staff as I had the only key. I said to him "so you are telling me that you only have one key for your vehicles" and he replied yes. I then said "Mate that's nonsense" the manager just stood and started at me. I waited for some sort of coherent response from him and got nothing other than the stare. I then said "can you check your cctv?" He replied "it's not our cctv and if you want to see it you will have to pay £500 to the owner" I told him again he was talking rubbish. He would not be moved and maintained that I had the only key to the vehicle and that the owner of the cctv charges £500 to view it. I couldn't be bothered to stand there whilst this person was trying to make a fool of me. I just put the keys on to the counter and started to to leave as did so I said something like I done have the time for this. As I walked away and towards the door him and 2 members of staff stared laughing. I have not used Enterprise since and never will again.

Friendly staff, but that’s where any positives end, and it descends into what appear to be shady backstreet practices. Hired a van for the weekend from the Hanworth branch. The van was unavailable at the booked time, so the deputy manager agreed to waive refuelling charges (a nice touch I thought to compensate for the inconvenience). When I returned the van I was charged for an additional rental period that I didn’t use AND the exorbitant refuelling charge. Queried several times with Enterprise via online query and have never received a response. I had to reclaim via my credit card dispute process. Enterprise are a cheap option for van hire, and there’s a reason for that - just read reviews on how many people have been overcharged and made to pay for existing damage. Avoid this company. ***Update. After I submitted this review, Enterprise contacted me and asked me to provide details, which I did. They then promised I would be contacted by a member of the senior management team, which never happened. Enterprise ignored all contact or queries made through their official online query form and responded only to a negative review being made. They then failed to follow up in any way on their further promises of support. Appalling service ethos.

I had a rental car from the Hanworth branch while my car has been in for repair. The MOT was suddenly due on it and the team tried their best to swap cars over at my workplace but the replacement car unfortunately broke down. I brought the car I was in back to them the next day, the replacement had a brake judder and they put me in something else straight away once I brought it back and made them aware of the issue. Fast forward a few days and I had a nightmare with insurance company stopping paying for my replacement car while not paying for the work on my own car. The team tried their absolute best to try and help me and sort me out with an extension and even kept me in the replacement car for a few extra days after the insurance company stopped paying so I could try and sort the situation out, but insurance company did not communicate and I had to give the replacement car back in the end. I cannot fault any of the team here for trying to help me out and P, Kieffer, Jack, Charlotte and Veronica all showed truly exemplary customer service in trying to help me and I cannot thank them enough for the consistently helpful and friendly service they gave me.

I received a courtesy car from Enterprise Hanworth late in the afternoon (delivered to my workplace) and by the time I got to drive it was already dark outside. It had a plastic wrap on the steering wheel and had a message hanging from the rear view mirror saying how it’s been “professionally cleaned and sanitised” but my world I’ve never driven a car with so filthy windscreen. First I thought a quick windscreen wash will help, but not only it made it worst due to the noisy, worn and useless wiper blades, but it became apparent that the windscreen (and all the other windows all around) are filthy from the inside. Luckily I only needed to drive it for a short distance but the view from the car was very obscure and far from being safe. When I parked up the car and was able to check the exterior I realised this car was just about as filthy from the outside too (from bird drops on the roof to smeared doors all around and the bonnet looking like it’s been vandalised by battery acid…) I wonder whether this 3 year old car has ever been cleaned at all, but also how can it be hired in this sort of condition?! It’s just shocking.

If this review is read by staff, can you please ensure that, after cleaning or carrying out any maintenance work, you replace the key into the car club van? I freaked out when I opened the van with my membership card, and then found no key in the glove box. A member of staff found it slightly funny that she got the van cleaned but forgot to put the key back. When I returned the van to its bay, I reversed in to make it safer and easier for the next person to take out. If a car club member doesn't leave the vehicle facing outwards, can you do it? If staff are the last to use it, in no circumstances leave it in such a way that the next driver needs to reverse out of a tight spot. Edit: They asked me to email them (see their response below) and so I did asking them to call me. However, they replied with a refusal to call me. The explanation given was that they don't call people. What's the point in me calling when the best person to deal with this issue might not be available at the time I call? Wouldn't it make much more sense for the person who wants to deal with this issue phone me when they're available?

THIS COMPANY IS A COMPLETE SCAM! I received a curtisy car from Enterprise through my insurance policy, had it for a week and it was picked up on the 28th of February. After the car was picked up I had a phone call late afternoon to tell me that the car had MINOR damage to the wing mirror and needed repairing. I accepted this however enterprise had already taken £700 out of my bank account to cover the cost of this minor damage! It has been over 3 weeks now and the company have not bothered to contact me once! I have been running up my phone bill to contact them every week to see if there is any news on the costing of the damage. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS APPALLING. I was even HUNG UP ON by the MANAGER of this branch after politely asking where my money was. Yesterday, after calling them myself I was finally told that my MINOR damage would cost £315 and that they cannot refund me any of my £700 yet as they are putting fees on top of that. Worst experience I have ever had. I am still waiting for my money which could take up to 6 weeks. I CAN NEVER RECCOMEND ENTERPRISE TO ANYONE.

This branch is a total shambles. Hired a car from here through BMW, the car was dropped off, driven for 3 days 17 miles and on return a so called trainee decided that there was a buldge on the outside wall of the tyre. Funnily enough the tyres were not inspected when the vehicle was dropped off and I am no expert to spot these things. Quite clearly they saw an elderly gentleman and decided he was an easy target and wanted to take advantage. The car was taken back and following day h was chsrged £250 WITHOUT BEING NOTIFIED. Also note there were no scratches on the alloys, which would be expected had the tyre been kerbed. I have consulted a soliciter and will take this further to the trading standards agency. Please read all the comments and reviews most people have been fleeced similarly. The manager claims the vehicle gets checked twice prior to delivary. Funnily enough the latest review in here is from a customer who has been given a car with a puncture. Clearly these vehicles are not checked properly. Please listen to all the reviews below and avoid this company

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY-WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!! Had to use enterprise as recommended by my breakdown company. Had no staff to pick me up as they were busy. Had the courtesy car for two days and once returned I was told I damaged the tyre. I was told I slit the tyre? Not sure how as drove to work home and back to garage, did not hit anything. The manager told me he would be nice and not charge my excess of £250 if I paid for a replacement second hand tyre. He came back from the tyre place saying it had to be a new tyre for £75 as they had no second hand tyres. I thought he was joking!!! But no I could not go without paying for the tyre. Got cash out to give to the tyre people who only asked for £50 for the new tyre instead of £75. So am guessing the other £25 goes to Enterprise? But why? Got a call 30 mins later from the manager saying he said £45 not £75? Was that to cover them if this got further. How many other people have been conned? Will never ever use an Enterprise garage again what a disappointment how they can do this to innocent people

I had a really disappointing experience with this company. I hired a van to move house, I had all the timings lined up perfectly. I had family coming from Wales and Dorset to help. When I arrived to pick it up on the day the lady told me they had tried to call me the night before, as the van had been in an accident and they didn't have a replacement. The only thing they could offer was considerably smaller and wouldn't have fit my furniture. I appreciate accidents can happen, and I can't blame them for not having a spare, but most importantly they didn't even leave me a message. By virtue of my work I get a considerable amount of calls on my mobile. While I'm off work I will only check when I get a voicemail. Something as important as not having a van for me to move house with should have warranted a bit more effort in trying to reach me. Cole van hire in Isleworth were able to organise a van within half an hour and for a larger van it cost me £90 instead of the £170 I had been charged by Enterprise. I know who to use in the future.

Fraudulent shop. Had a car for a matter of days which I left for them to pick up and some Polish fraudster who picked the car up on their behalf tried to say there was damage to the wheel alloy, when the car hadn’t even been driven, and then enterprise damage recovery unit changed it to say there was damage to the tyre instead. Scandalous shop in a terrible area. Customer service and cars embarrassing! Avoid this place like the plague! Edit: in response to the reply below, you do not take your customer service very seriously at all as in this case you are quite clearly trying to defraud a customer and it’s quite clear I’m not the only one! Your shambles of a business should be closed down to protect innocent people from your scams.

Had a bad experience in the past. Returned as I was offered a discount, Ernest and his team were very helpful and friendly, and they have restored my faith in Enterprise and the Hanworth branch. The van I requested was all ready and waiting for me, first thing Saturday morning. The whole booking out process was quick and easy and I was on the road within 15 minuets. Very impressed. One area that Enterprise could improve on, is the opening time for a Saturday. 8am would be better for a lot of people instead of 9am. This is a company policy and is not the fault of the Hanworth team.

My insurance booked me a car at the Enterprise Hanworth branch after my car got crashed into. The team at the Hanworth branch are amazing, polite, respectful and really welcoming. I needed the car urgently as I had appointments to go to and the team managed to find me one and I was able to get straight on my way. When I came to the off hire I couldn't get to them before closing time due to work commitments so they was able to collect the car from my home address. Will be using Enterprise in Hanworth again. Thank you to the whole team.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car Hanworth branch, provided a good and efficient service to me. I hired a car for 2 weeks and the whole process was smooth and easy. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming. Car was booked two weeks in advance. On the morning of collection, enterprise call 10 minutes before it was due to be collected to say that they don't have a car for us, and need to find one. We needed the car so had to agree to wait - they said they would call at 10am. 10am came, no call! Finally we rang at 10.30 to be told that they still don't have a car but should have one around 11. Travelling to enterprise at 11 to be told that it's going to be 12.

Rent elsewhere. I was given a van with multiple dents and scratches and advised them immediately that nothing is marked on the contract to reflect the damages. They explained that they are too much minor to be listed as damages. Returned the car two days later without incident but was told there was a dent. The same dent I told them earlier about. They answer was that nothing was documented. Bunch of con artists.

Helpful despite initial problem- having booked a small van I was offered a larger one as the one earmarked for me had been extended by current renter. Great solution normally, but I had width restrictions so needed the van as booked. I was driven to Weybridge depot to collect a suitable van: some time lost, but allowance made at end if rental. All up, very professional and courteous service when problem arose.

This company just steals money. Booked a car and paid upfront. When I asked to cancel they said no - even when I offered to pay for the day vs the 4 I had paid for. Second time I tried to use them they rudely told me they wouldn’t wait for a single woman to arrive 5 minutes late for a booking due to traffic at Twickenham stadium. Took the money though and rudely told me it was my problem. Outrageous !

I was accused of a scratch I never did. The car was standing 30cm off the wall so you were not able to see that side of the car to make a picture. Forced to pay £1300. It was 2 years ago and I have never had any issues with different hire companies since. DO NOT USE or be ready to be ripped off.

Arrive as early as you can as they get backed up very quickly. Also bear in mind that if you're waiting for them to collect you to bring you to your hire car, they'll probably be late - they often don't have the staff available to do this, especially at peak times.

Dont get your car rented from this place. Billy will force you to get additional insurance or else he will find faults in the car when you bring it back. He will lie for almost everything. He will also lie about excess on insurance. Worst Customer Service.
