First and foremost I absolutely love Enterprise and have only rented cars from them. Never anywhere else! HOWEVER, this location was the worst I have ever been to. I live no lie a block away from this location and thought it would be easy enough to rent from and take my family on their first family road trip. This was not the case at all. I called a week or so before to ensure that they had the van we needed and I also asked about any specific policies I should be aware of, deposits or insurance requirements and was told that there wasn’t one when using my credit card on file, Mariah explained I was good to go. Well they did a follow up call a few days before and woke me up from my sleep, (I work nights) and proceeded to tell me there was a bigger deposit then I expected. I have never paid more than 20% of the rental for the deposit and I have rented in Cali, Arizona, and in NM and took it out to Mexico. I have never had damage, problems or ANYTHING happen to the cars I rent. When I asked Mariah about this and why she told me before I didn’t have a deposit she started being so rude and condescending to me. She said that if I don’t have it then I don’t need the car that bad then. She was so disrespectful and just belittling me. I understand there is a deposit on most things but I was shocked of how much it was especially considering that there was one time where my credit limit didn’t quite update before I got the car and the rental location just changed the deposit and maxed out the card to what I had left and thought nothing of it. This location wasn’t budging and when I actually went to the location I was told that they had to get the deposit from everyone because of how “ghetto” the location was and that their trucks are not returned often. That made no relation to me I was getting a minivan and I had them pick me up so easily IF I WERE to take their car they can walk one block and easily find it! (Sarcasm) it was just unprofessional from the start and I was definitely taken aback by them. I had rented before at this location from an insurance claim but they said that they don’t look at the history of the entire enterprise account just with them. So technically I was a new renter. Needless to say the tank was half full which is also surprising cuz they usually have it filled so I had to go put gas which is not a problem but the guy who picked us up drove that van like it was his race car and worried me because my nephew came along with me for the ride. It was also raining that morning and he made two U-Turns and I felt like we were on two wheels. This location seems to allow their employees to say and do whatever they want and even though their district manager apologized and rationalized the deposit situation I still felt uneasy about the whole process. Thanks to One employee who was from Wisconsin (can’t remember her name) she was all over the inspection and made sure every ding and mark was looked at. She at least made me feel welcomed and I felt better when leaving with the van that morning but man other than that I can say this was the worst rental I have ever had! Eeeeek Wesley the District mgr if you read this, I know you told me that you have had attitude problems in the past with the employees and I think that there still is a problem.

Very disappointed with this location. When you rent be sure to inspect the car very very thoroughly. When I picked up the car I was told that any damage smaller than a couple inches in diameter was not significant and did not need to be noted on the renters agreement. So naturally I looked for larger dents and dings and did not find any so of course I signed the agreement stating that there was no damage to the car. When I returned the car, I was told that the car had hail damage and that I needed to pay a $500 deductible to get it fixed. The damage is nearly unperceivable to the naked eye and is much much smaller than the dents and dings that I had already noticed before I rented the car. New Mexico had several hail storms before I rented the car, and even if I had looked for damage beforehand, I would not have seen it. It is very very minute. I made the mistake of making small talk with the agent when I rented the car and I had mentioned I was driving to Colorado. Well, they also had hail that weekend, however, we didn't get hit by it. Unfortunately at that point it is your word against theirs and since I already signed the agreement I was pretty much stuck. The original agent I signed the agreement with saw me when I first got there but then left to the back and I did not see her again which was strange because I was there for over an hour. I just feel like they try to wring as much money out of you as possible. It is unfortunate because I have rented with Enterprise before and I used to brag about their customer service but I won't be renting with Enterprise again and I will not advise my friends or family to do so either. The whole thing felt very shady and I do not believe that this location brings the customer service that I thought Enterprise stood for.

THEY LEFT ME STRANDED!!!! My truck broke down on the way from California to Texas. The dealership didn't have anything available. They couldn't even give me a shuttle. But they referred me to this store. I get there at 550 and they WOULDN'T rent a car because I'm from out of state. And they won't except debit and they didn't offer me a ride back to the dealer. The woman that acted like the manager talked over the woman who was trying to help me said "we want to help you any way we can." Well.. SHE WAS AS HELPFUL AS A HOLE IN MY HEAD!!!! and she was unwilling to work with me. I asked if I could show her my account. She said NO I asked her if they could pick up my husband. She said NO, we are closing. I asked if he could pay online. She said NO With no rental car, No ride, and with the dealership closing. And to top it all off. My phone died. They left me stranded in a bad neighborhood!!!! I had the money in my account. I told her I was stranded. My husband. 3 children, 3 horses and 2 dogs were 20 miles away because THANK GOD the owners of the bed and breakfast horse motel went above and beyond to help us in our desperate situation. but back to this store. Why the heck can another rental company accept a debit card from someone out of state but not this store?? I will NEVER.. EVER rent another car from enterprise EVER AGAIN. And nore will anyone in my family which is at least 10 adults in the emirate family. I am not kidding when I say I was left stranded. Between the dealership and this store. This was THE WORST customer experience I've ever experienced. What a way to treat a military family in the middle of a move. Or ANY customer.

We rented a minivan for a family reunion. That whole rental went smoothly with Julissa. Very friendly and personable. On the flipside, on Monday when the car was returned, I found out 2 hours later that my brother had accidentally left his camera on the floorboard of the front passenger seat. I immediately contacted this office (2nd&Montano), spoke with Asia, (Is what her name sounded like), she lazily said," no, we have not had anything turned in. Call back in 2 hours, the car is not here, maybe it went for an oil change." I called back, spoke with Stephanie, she right away said that she would of checked on it right away, not brushed it off. She put me on hold, and yet again, I had to deal with Asia. She said that she tried co reacting the current renters, but had not heard anything back. Told me that she was, "on top of it" and would call me as soon as she heard anything. The evening came and went, nothing, I didn't hear anything back at closing time. The next morning, I get a call from my brother, who went to the location, who also got help from Stephanie, and she was the savior for the day. She was able to contact the current renters and get the camera back for us. Enterprise, you should really check and retrain some of your lazy incompetent employees. Kudos to Julissa and especially Stephanie.

If it was possible to give this place 0 or negative stars, that is what it would get! Have rented many cars in the past, first time at this location and will never consider this place again! Most unfriendly group of agents ever. Was given a Ford Focus and during the walk around was told not to consider anything smaller than a quarter or shorter than a dollar bill. The car had many small dents and scratches, with the paint gone, but was told that was normal wear and tear and to not consider them. When the car was returned, they found many small small hail dings that someone would never see . Still couldn't see even when pointed out, so would never have seen them on the walk around. Since there had been hail storms in the area just the week before, makes you wonder if they are trying to get their cars fixed on someone else's dime, or just get your money, because it doesn't look like they fix their cars. Just beware and inspect you vehicle with a black light before you drive it off the lot, because once you initial, it's your word against theirs, and these agents are rude. Terrible experience and not the kind of customer service that enterprise claims it gives.

Scammed me badly they claimed I did 90 bucks of damage to the car but we had clearly reviewed the minor damage before I left the car lot. I guess they figured I wouldn't complain since it wasn't much money but I asked them to review the camera to confirm that minor damage was present and asked why it wasn't written down when we had clearly looked at the car and she simply did not mark this damage in attempt to scam me. Of course they had to agree with me that the car was obviously damaged and it was their mistake for not marking all the previous damage, but now I tried to rent a car and they are saying they won't rent to me. So now I literally had to walk miles and miles because they reserved a car for me and now they are saying they can't rent to me that I already reserved a car and arrived. It's truly sickening that they know full well via video proof that the car already had that minor damage. And to ban me for not letting them easily scam me is absolutely insane. And worse to schedule me a rental and make me walk home due to their mistake/scam.

The rep I work with was Cornelius Hill. My 2020 Ford Explorer ST has been in the shop at Power Ford for 3 weeks now and I was finally offered a rental car. Well, Power Ford decided to rent me a small car to which they probably felt was worth the inconvenience That’s currently affecting me. There were two SUV’s on the lot, that I inquired about but were more per day than the Ford sedan Power Ford wanted to pay for. My logic was I had an SUV in the shop and wanted a SUV as a rental. My family and I bought the Explorer for a reason and size was one of them. Well long story short I was told Power Ford refused to pay the additional cost which is their right but leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Anyway, it’s apparent Cornelius has excellent customer service experience because he was sympathetic to my situation and offered to reduce the cost to f the SUV to what Power Ford was willing to pay for. He did not have to do that and it was greatly appreciated.

Really bad customer service. Went to pick up reservation for my employee who came to train others from out of town and was told that he would have to hold onto my card as a hard copy. Having rented a car with enterprise before, I challenged him on his policy. Asking why I would have to leave the physical card there if I am paying for an employee of my company to use the vehicle in town for me. How would they need to KEEP my physical card there hostage? He then refused to let me take my reservation because he didn’t believe my payment was mine. He continued to make up “policies” as we discussed this situation. There was so much he could have done to make an awkward experience better and he didn’t even try. It’s pretty concerning these are the people this business hires to run their store front. Being a business owner here in town, I would be mortified if anyone treated my customers this way.

Been renting from Enterprise at many locations in Albuquerque and others states and each time I am served with the best and fast customer service, each individual I had the pleasure dealing with it has been very respectful and well rounded so can keep up a conversation about many topics. This last rental booked a full size and manger came out and surprised me with brand new 2019 Ford Expedition fully loaded I was not expecting such a nice upgrade but glad she did cause I fall in love with it and so did couple friends who have been in the market to buy a new suv. Was made aware they also have car sales so they can be expecting us to pay them a visit soon for hopefully a good deal on two SUVs. But just may have to rent one again to just for fun to finalize our decision Thank you all enterprise team you guys and girls rock!

This location has terrible customer service. I was told if they were a available I would be provided a ride to the body shop after I dropped off my vehicle. Upon calling the location I was told they were too busy to give me a ride and was forced to take an Uber. Upon arriving at the enterprise I see the two employees sitting there with their feet literally kicked up on their desks not doing a single thing. After I got my rental car I noticed the employee watching me until I left so he could get in one of the cars and go provide someone else a ride. I'm not sure how they pick and choose who to give rides to but it's extremely ridiculous that they consider sitting at their desks doing absolutely nothing to be too busy to help a customer when they said they’d be happy to help upon my first call asking them.

Good experience no complaints. :-). I actually didn't have any complaints at the time, but 11 days later, my shoulder and arm hurts from having to hoist myself up into the shuttle van using the hand grip above the door. I am a "little person" and maybe your vans should have a step stool so a short stature person or elderly person (I'm 62) doesn't have to struggle to get into the van. I thought the soreness would have gone away in a few days, that's why I didn't complain at the time. Please have your staff be cognizant of small and/ or elderly people and/or people with disabilities who have challenges getting into a high profile vehicle without an additional step or stool. Thank for everything! Other than that it was a great experience.

Meh. I really think that covid-19 has affected this industry unfortunately, at the time there were not a lot of vehicles to pick from and I didn't like either of the ones that I'd used for the time that I had to use the service. The staff seemed busy, so the personal level of service (in my opinion was a little short sided) and I was unable to call directly to the store, it went through a national service call, then an operator, then the store (5 minutes later)... seriously Update I did get an automated response to my review that was the same as the other individuals that did not rate this particular site well... Only reaffirming my disconnect with the customer service I received.

So I took my car to the shop and rented a car after I was done using it I called the office and spoke to Julie or Julia and asked her that if someone from the office was able to drive me back to my car and I confirmed not one but twice the second time she give me attitude and when I get there they said they couldn’t literally called 10 min before to confirm, And when the guy had to drive me to my car he was angry and drove very fast and unsafe literally almost wrecked the car making a left he doesn’t deserve his license! They are extremely rude after I made sure they’d be able to. For sure not returning to this location! Please fix your attitudes!!!

After my personal car became disabled I called this Enterprise branch - they had a car ready for me that same morning. It was competitively priced already and a descent newer clean car - basically nothing to worry about at all. The crew here at the Albuquerque North Valley 2nd St branch had everything ready to go and contact less - safe - and explained the contract in a quick and easy to understand both at pickup and return, many thanks to all of them. Even when I needed to extend the rental twice it only took a phone call for a minute and done - no problems at all - just an easy and pleasant experience.

I'm surprised by the bad rating. It is a smaller lot but I have come here several times to get a rental car and the staff is always helpful, friendly, competent and professional. They have provide me with transportation to get my vehicle to the mechanic and pick it up.They are always willing to help out. For example: Today the insurance approved me for for a smaller economic car but they didn't have any on the lot. So they gave me a slightly bigger at the same price to accommodate my needs. Employees here are ready to serve and go above and beyond to meet the needs of the customer.

Rental process was quick and easy. Staff was friendly as they always have been at this Enterprise. I only had one issue and that was with the car. Have never rented a sporty car from Enterprise, but this time around took out a Mustang. The auxiliary power outlets on the car did not work. I have a Garmin GPS and when the battery on it went out, I was stuck. We switched to Waze on our cell phones and had missed one turn off that added about 90 minutes to our drive. I did mention it when I turned the car in. Enterprise said he would report it, but really did not seem concerned.

Not so great service lady at the counter couldn't care less I was stranded 40 miles from home after having my truck smashed into. I was sent to Enterprise not by choice but by an insurance company they picked me up from work I get to the store and find out my driver's license expired 4 days ago I asked if they could help me out in anyway maybe giving me a ride back to work, nope they were closing so I had to get a taxi ride home 40 miles away. Unfortunately I have to deal with these people tomorrow after the dmv. I will never chose Enterprise if I'm paying for it.

As it is everywhere else, they were short staffed. The young lady that was helping me get my rental was clearly stressed/overwhelmed by how busy she was with (what seemed like) no help. There was a few of us trying to get rentals.I sat and waited for a while which was ok because again, she was alone. That’s when I realized how dirty and unkept the business was. The countertops were dirty and the rugs hadn’t been vacuumed. Next, I noticed the ceiling vents were black with dust/dirt etc…all in all I got a rental ‍♀️ And returned it with no real major issues

The employee refused to work with my insurance/warranty company, because he, his manager or any other employees that he has worked with yhr last 2 or 3 years had never done the process the way the manager of 11 years at my warranty place was trying to explain and walk the Enterprise employee through. I went to the Enterprise down the road on 2nd st it took some time but they were very patient she still had to have the manager get walked through the process admitting they have never done it this way before but she still got it taken care of.

Sam does a great job, Danielle did a great job, this is a busy location and I appreciate my experiences with Sam and the crew. I have rented for about a year from this location and always appreciate the enthusiasm and the drive to meet my expectations. My company spends $700.00 plus a month at this location and I know Sam appreciates our busniess. Sam and his crew work hard to meet customer expectation even if it is a weekend rental. Sam is not as cute as Danielle but he does have a great smile!!

When Carlos and later Danielle were managing this location it awesome. The cars were ready for pick up when I arrived. The last three times I have rented from this location I have had to wait up to one hour for my car. I am usually traveling on business and need to get on the road immediately. When I do finally get my car there is never has more than 1/4 tank of gas. This location is convenient for me, however, I will most likely seek a new location.

These people are completely incompetent! They'll schedule a vehicle then offer to pick you up from home at a specific time and forget about you. Then when you call them to check the status of your ride they apologize and promise to make it up to you. Then five minutes later call and notify you that there is no vehicle available for rental . These guys are a joke and express poor customer service. Stay away from them if you can. Total waste of time.

Literally the least helpful people I have ever encountered I needed to switch out my rental and spent a week running in circles with these jerks telling me to please call me back tomorrow! Come to find out they had availability all along. I had to call the main enterprise customer service line and finally they were able to get me a vehicle tomorrow from there downtown location. So frustrating and a waste of time. Never using this location again

I rented a car for a week from Enterprise in Albuquerque. I am super impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of this location. Priscilla checked me in when I arrived and Lacy checked me out when I dropped off. They were both so nice and personable! The process was very easy. I had a few hours before my flight and they let me keep the car a few more hours at no charge. Thank you very much for making this part of my trip special!

First off, I want to recognize Joseph's outstanding customer service. He made sure to keep me updated on availability when I needed an upgrade in my rental. The service provided by the 2nd and Montaño location has always been appreciated (I've rented from that location numerous times). Friendly long-time staff, great communication, and fast and easy service. Also, Collin at the satellite location in Car Crafters was very helpful.

I use to rate this location a 5 star but since Danielle and her 5 star team left, its been all down hill every time I come in now. They certainly have a long way to go to catch up to where the bar was set before them! Unfortunately this is the nearest location that I can rent from, so I guess Ill have to endure what they have to offer. All the new Manager Sam does is make excuses for their incompetent routine!

Attended Int'l Balloon Fest Oct 6-10 & rented small car ahead of time online from Austin, Texas. Original contract was misunderstood by friend/rentee, not enuf credit limit to pick up car :( LACY BARON (brch mgr) & PRISCILLA ARVIZO definitely went ABOVE & BEYOND to fix everything/help us out!! Even threw in bigger car & free airport return! STELLAR SERVICE ladies, in my opinion you deserve a raise/bonus!!

I was first offered a car that I was not comfortable with in that I am rather tall (5'9 without heels). The staff at Enterprise went out of their way to find me a vehicle that I felt safe and comfortable in. They were so courteous and friendly. I appreciated that so much. I will return to this Enterprise location because of the friendly and respectful interaction I had.

Enterprise accommodated me without notice whatsoever. I was in dire need of temporary transportation and a friend dropped me off at a local Enterprise agency. They immediately took care of me with a vehicle and a fantastic price. It was a fantastic Ford Escape with all the "bells and whistles!" i could not have been more pleased with the service I received!

I have always been treated as a valued costomer every time I go to this location, at other locations, I have never experianced the respectful courtisey and the appreciation of being a customer of Enterprise as I have at this location, and when I have gone to this location it was not to rent a vehicle, but when Im ready to rent one I wont go anywhere else.

Well staffed with eager, friendly people. Reserved a car for 4pm since none available until then. Arrived at 2pm and Blake went out of his way to get us a vehicle from another location by 2:50pm. Kudos! If you're sensitive to odors though, beware. They have multiple plug-in air "fresheners" that will drive the chemically sensitive person outdoors. :-p

Had me come back to pick up the rental but had sent someone out to pick up other customers in it. Delayed me over an hour. When I brought my dissatisfaction to their attention the employee said it was no big deal...not for him it wasn't. Gave me a 10% discount.

The car upholstery was dirty. And dashboard dusty. I had to go clean it myself after car was picked up. The person that works cleaning the cars seems to lazy, after I dropped off , he washed the car and put it back where the rest of the rentals were parked.

Great customer service. Got in. Picked up the car. Left. What else can you ask for in a good rental car company. A few issues with the maintenance of the vehicle, but nothing serious. Wiper blades was a bit annoying... But again, great customer service.

Very efficient knowledgeable and kind. Their pick up policy is most helpful. We were in Albuquerque. New Mexico and wanted to go sightseeing. They picked us up from the hotel and dropped us off No additional cost. A big plus.

Waited forever To rent a car, even though I had a reservation. The car smelled of stale cigarettes. They marked that it had a full tank of gas but as soon as I left the lot the gas meter went down to below half a tank.

Car not ready. Gave smaller car that had signed up for, had to take back and get another car. Staff is always nice. Car time was 11:30 got car at 1.
