I have used the Epworth emergency department for my toddler and also used them separately for a surgery for her yesterday. The hospital is faultless. The nurses in the paediatric ward are the best in their field, the hospital is clean, the rooms are large and the food is fantastic. I will honestly never use another hospital again.
What a great experience here. My teenage son came in to the Epworth to have his wisdom teeth (4) removed. Easy check in. Wonderful nurses that took care of my son and made him feel calm and relaxed. He had a lovely room in paediatrics with TV too. 10 out of 10. 5 stars . …
My first major surgery so nothing really to compare it to but I was mighty impressed with the service and smoothness of the procedures here. The care was mostly 10/10 and the nurse who looked after me the most was beyond excellent. She made
I don’t actually even know where to start . I think with the staff. That old saying “ You’re a product of your environment “ applies to this hospital. The environment the staff create for patients and their visiting families is outstanding.
I had an incredibly frustrating experience with this system. It was exceptionally hard to reach anyone for assistance, and the entire process of trying to follow the documents was a nightmare. The lack of support and the confusing interface
Was not happy as the nurses took my antidepressant off me to put away. They were to give me my medication with other medication I was to have after my operation. They only gave it to me once and never after that. It wasn’t until I got home
I was admitted to Epworth Richmond through their ED. My experience during my 10 days stay was excellent. Doctors were nice and very professional, nurses were friendly and caring however some of their duties and communications could be done
My 7 year old son had his surgery here just the other day and besides the fact the surgeon was absolutely amazing and the anaesthetist was amazing. The actual hospital staff themselves were phenomenal. My sons is a very high needs disabled
I was admitted on 8/09 to have an ACL reconstruction surgery and i have to say that overall experience was great. Its my first time to have a surgery and they really made it easy for me. Staff overall are helpful and patient . Very special
I went on surgery and all the staff was very helpful and kind. Yesterday was a cold day and I was worried bcz I am always cold but I was satisfied with the warm room and the worries for this was over very soon. The Phisio Monique, Nhan the
I attended the hospital between 21st August and was discharged on the 27th August. I came in unexpectedly and was immediately provided a bed while awaiting scans. This turned out to be Appendicitis and I had surgery scheduled for the next
I spent the day at Epworth Richmond ED and couple of days ago and right from the minute we arrived they were fantastic. The nursing staff were absolutely amazing all day. Always checking on me and very attentive to my needs. The Dr’s were
I have nothing but praise for Epworth Richmond. I visited The ER on Christmas' eve with extricating pain due to ruptured appendix. Although I had to endure pain and long wait time, it was removed on that same day. Dr Osama Yoshjno did the
LI am writing this Google review to express my deep disappointment with the experience we had at Epworth Richmond hospital. We visited the hospital's emergency department a few months ago to have our son's ears checked, and unfortunately,
I'm here to say thank you to Audrey for her amazing care and support from the first day until the MRI day. She's truly helpful, she explained the procedure step by step and the level of customer service she provided to me as a new patient
The staff at Epworth Richmond (who we met on the day) were all very helpful. The doctor especially. She spent the time required for us to understand what was going on. And then she made more time to look into things further (no need to go
I recently had ACL reconstruction surgery, Im a 15 year old girl and the Nurses that had helped me while I was there were incredible, caring, kind and friendly I was in the children's ward and whenever I asked for help they were there for
Epworth Hospital truly excels in providing exceptional care and facilities. The hospital staff, including doctors and nurses, exhibit a remarkable attention to detail and patient well-being. The quality of medical care here is top-notch.
Really disappointed in the service my husband received when he came here for surgery. The surgery itself was fantastic - but the after care overnight was far from it. He got out of surgery after 7pm. After fasting since 8am that day, the
Very good hospital, strategically located with eminent, experienced and excellent specialists and doctors with good team of Anaesthetists, courtecious nurses, well trained kind staff members. The care taken by the Hospital and their team
Today was my first visit for an appointment at the Epworth and I had a great over all experience. Very clean hospital with friendly and professional staff. I really wanted to leave this five star review though because the two very lovely
I fainted in front of the emergency department from chest pain and lightheadedness after a suspected DVT and no one came out to assist. Not one staff member. After waiting for 2.5 hours in the waiting room I decided to go to the private
We recently had visited Epworth Richmond. The children's ward nurses and the theatre nurses (or other staffs) have all been superb, caring, attentive and patient. The best hospital food as per most review commented (heard from one of the
My dad just had a surgery there and there were multiple nurses taking care of him interchangeably, most of them were pretty friendly and responsible. Especially, a nurse named Lisa is super responsive, caring and supportive. I just rlly
The pathology team was extremely polite and friendly on the 5/08 first thing in the morning. I was so impressed with how everyone greeted me and made me feel comfortable. It was the best experience I have had in a hospital environment.
I can’t recommend this hospital and it’s staff enough! I didn’t want to leavel!!!! The nursing staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and never made me feel like a burden, my bed was changed daily , they listened to my
Had a great experience at Epworth Richmond. My cardiac surgery went off well. The staff were professional. The heating in the room was a bit high and I struggled to sleep. This is only reason that I didn't give it a 5 star. The head of
Nurse Maclean is the best nurse in the whole hospital. He helped me in December 2022 after two spinal surgeries more than anyone else. Such a kind, intelligent, skilled and pleasant man. He is to be congratulated on such great service.
I found the staff to be nice enough just not really invested in patients care. I had to walk into the operating theatre as there were no trolleys available. Once in my room I had to ask a staff member to find my bag as I was told it
I recently spent two nights at the Epworth after coming through Emergency. The experience was absolutely awful and I will never attend there again. As the triage process took so long I was asked to sit in a wheelchair instead of
Private Rooms - I wouldn't have thought so. Epworth Richmond is an amazing place where the nurses are caring, compassionate and really look after their patients. The one star is only on the inpatient care facilities.
Best hospital in Melbourne Have been a patient here over the past 6 years . All the staff up here have been so lovely during my stay day 5 almost 6 . The food is first class . Not one complaint

Massive thank you to the doctors and to my 2CATO Nurses: Nurse Riva, Nurse Jess, and Nurse Francis who took care of me after my surgery. I was well looked after during my recovery.
I went to Epworth Richmond after spending dozens of hours waiting in queues of emergency rooms at public hospitals hoping for better service. How wrong I was!
After using public hospitals all my life I found my experience at the Epworth amazing I was so happy with the care I received and how clean the place was.
Absolutely shocking hospital. Don't ever go there in the hope that you will achieve anything. Their loan a doctor process doesn't work.
Joint surgery saw me visit here for three nights. Staff from check in to discharge were exceptional, friendly, caring and supportive.
I had a knee replacement a week ago I was very happy with the whole process from admission to post op care before going into rehab.
