I (Wendy) haven't had a hair cut in years due to a bad experience at other places so I found this place and it did not disappoint! The appointment was booked the same day with the art director Sazz who was amazing!! She gave me the exact haircut I was looking for and gave me recommendations on what would suit my face (I had a few pictures for reference and couldn't decide between two styles). Before she started cutting, she walked me through what she was going to do every step of the way. Everything was so relaxing that I almost nodded off at some point! I'm so happy I came here and will definitely make this the salon I go to for any kind of haircut. Would absolutely recommend!

The salon is clean, cozy, and bright. The moment I stepped in, I felt relaxed and welcomed. Michael greeted me with authentic green tea from Japan (yummy) and kindly placed all my personal belongings in the storage area behind the counter. Great job on customer attentiveness!!! I started out with mid length hair (just passed my shoulders) and I wanted a short inverted Bob. Michael took the time to communicate with me, to know exactly what I'm looking for, and delivered! He's got an eye for shape and form. He knows how to make my hair compliment my facial structure with the style I desire. What more can I ask? This is why I'm definitely coming back, regularly!

I moved here from a different country and had been on the lookout for a hairdresser I can rely on. Shiori was great from the start, she listened to my thoughts and was really welcoming, we had great conversations as she did my hair. I have fairly thick hair as an Asian which also grows quickly so I always need to get a regular cut every 4-5 months as maintenance. It had always been a struggle to find someone who knows how to take the weight off without giving me choppy underlayers. She did an amazing job at giving me layers and shape without the weight, just as my regular hairdresser at home did. Relieved to have a go-to salon now and highly recommend!

I had an appointment today to colour my hair and it turned out that I had black henna on my hair from before. I forgot about it but after the colour was done the hair was slightly patchy of black and new hair colour. The lady who did my hair was extremely patient, she was professional and very gentle with the process. The salon was clean and the staff seemed nice. The hair stylist who did my hair tried her best to give me the best results. I love my new hair colour and she did an excellent job. I would definitely go back to this salon and I highly recommend it. The stylist brought me great tea. I will definitely go back to fix my hair more.

This is a great location that is within walking distance to the Broadway City Hall sky train station. I was helped by Ai who is a friendly and amazing hairstylist. She first cut my hair and once that’s done she took me to wash my hair and then finished off cutting my hair to make sure I was happy with it. The whole experience was comfortable where all the staff wore masks and social distance themselves. The receptionist could be more friendly. The product they use was great and I really love my haircut! I recommend to those who enjoy prefer Japanese approach to haircuts ‍♀️ Ai is great so for sure book an appointment with her!

Would definitely recommend this salon to anyone who is very particular about what they want regarding style and colour. Often when I visit other places, I show them reference pictures but they never seem to nail it on the head. Takumi on the other hand, was fantastic and I will continue to use him in the future! He was very detail orientated and cut my hair with precision. Exactly what I wanted! Considering the professionalism, the price was very reasonable. My cut and colour with bleach and balayage came to $370 (not including tips) Bravo, FORME hair salon - I look forward to visiting you again soon!

You can really tell the staff care about the space they create for their clients just by being in the environment, spotless and bright. When I was getting my hair done, all the chatter between the staff and clients were so friendly and sweet! I got my natural brown hair bleached twice and toned to a silver-beige by Meg, and it feels and looks absolutely amazing. It's not dry, but silky and feels like my original hair. I'm definitely coming back here when I want to change up my look in the future. Thank you so much to Meg! She's super kind and hard-working! ♡

I recently went there (a week ago), and called with very short notice. Michael was not only very accommodating but also a wonderful styler. He immediately understood what I wanted and why (although my explanation was really poor). The haircut is just PERFECT. What it is also a plus is the relaxing ambiance, the green te and the amazing head massage the give after washing your hair. I makes you feel you are in a hair-spa. If you are hesitant about going to FORME salon, don't be and just GO. I am happy to have found my new salon and styler.

I usually don’t write any reviews but I just wanna say this salon is awesome. It’s walking distance from Broadway station, which I found very convenient, cozy, beautiful and tidy, and the hairstylists are friendly and polite, and most importantly, they are knowledgeable. They really understand how to handle asian hair. You can trust your hair with Eri. I've been there twice already but she never fails to impress me. Also they have this amazing line up of products, which is from Italy and Japan. Thank you Eri! I love my new hair style!

I called and made an appointment with one of the stylists (not sure what their name was), they were very well prepared with sanitary preparations. i came in to see if the stylist could do any thing to hide my hairloss or make it look thicker, and she did a great job! She cut my hair very well, and was so professional, kind, understanding of my hair loss, I didn't feel insecure at all! The final result was a very cute lob, which gives me significant more volume. Will defintely come back next time I'm back in Vancouver

I had a wonderful first haircut experience today thanks to Meg and she was very patient with listening to my input and was very personable. Her cut was very detail oriented and made sure my hair was dealt with a certain way in order to obtain the style I was looking for by taking into consideration my hair type, history etc. As a guy who is growing his hair out long, the professional advice Meg provided was very helpful for guiding me to better manage my hair moving forward. Will definitely come back again!

I have really thin hair that most people find difficult to style. Also i have very sensitive scalp that i usually find it painful when stylists do cuts or shampoos. Saika did my hair for me and she was so professional and gentle! I never felt a tug and the whole experience felt very nice. The hair cut turned out amazing too. She created volume in my hair that I thought wasnt possible. Overall, i would definitely go back and i would go back for Saika!

The stylists at FORME are excellent at working with and colouring dark hair, which I find to be a rare skill in Vancouver salons. I had my hair coloured with Takumi, who was meticulous and patient in finding the right shade I was hoping to achieve in my colour. I am very happy with my result and will be back as a regular customer. While the stylists are very friendly, the salon is also introvert friendly, for those who like a little peace and quiet.

Went here for a hair cut the other week. First time visiting. Saika cut my hair and she was super awesome! She really paid attention to details of how my hair naturally falls and listened to what I wanted done to my hair. She was also really nice to chat with! The environment of the studio felt safe in regards to social distancing. And it’s nice that they use dyson hair dryers as they are super quiet and don’t get too hot like old hair dryers.

Micheal and Eri are awesome! Not only as hairstylists but also as a person. Their skills are clearly superb. The previous reviews really speak for itself. The salon itself is very clean and fashionable. And the green tea is just a perfect extra touch. If you are looking for a hair salon that you could get to know your hairstylists really well, and could come back for many years, I'd highly recommend Forme. You will not be disappointed.

It was my first time visiting Forme, and I had such a positive experience! My stylist was Saika and she was so friendly and professional. I got a cut and bleached/dyed my hair, and throughout the process she made sure to show me where she was at and check in to see if I was satisfied with how it was going. She also gave me advice on how to maintain my hair. Would definitely recommend this salon/stylist, and will be coming back =)

The stylists here truly know their craft. I booked with Takumi, and he spent the entire day meticulously correcting an old and uneven bleach job, and then achieved this beautifully vivid blue that’s lasted me a month and a half so far without any significant fading (I only use a blue conditioner about once or twice a week). Very happy with the result, and have been recommending this salon to everyone who asks about my hair!

It’s been months since I had a proper haircut. And i am so happy on the experience i had with them! Harumi is very friendly and warm!!! So easy to talk too! Their salon is so clean and organize! Also making sure all of us customers are safe and them as well by still making sure we sanitize our hands! Face mask is not a problem!! Cute little boutique salon. Clean place with good spacing between chairs. The best part I look forward to is the shampoo/hair rinsing station. The hair treatment with the hot towel and scalp massage is . My teenaged daughter and I both see Saika and she has done an amazing job transitioning my hair over the past year from dark brown almost black (with lots of greys ) to a very "natural" beigey blonde.

I've been going to Michael for the last three years and have followed him from two salons and now he has finally opened his own. The new place is clean and comfortable with a great convenient location. He does amazing work every time and is an extremely friendly person with full attention to detail. He will make sure you are completely happy before leaving and I completely trust him with my hair and you should too!

Best salon and hair dresser this side of the Pacific. Sazz is super friendly, humorous and always a pleasure to sit with. One hour always seems to fly by. Her skill with scissors is second to none. Most importantly I'm always more than satisfied when I get a cut from her. I highly reccomend booking Sazz or anyone else working there (they all seem great) if you want a quality cut. Price is very reasonable as well.

Really good and down to earth folks. I forgot the name of the lady who did my hair but she was so nice. Btw not sure if this is common practice, but I got a very relaxing head massage. It's been years since a shop offered a complimentary massage. Again, maybe im going to the wrong places. I had a positive experience at Forme, 10/10 will recommend to others.

Marina is a wonderfully skilled and intuitive hair artist. This place is the perfect hair studio if you don’t feel compelled to talk and to just be in the moment of the artist doing what they do best. So happy I found this gem of a business. For anyone going thru cancer, they offer incredible hair and scalp treatments without heavy scents and chemicals.

I was able to book a next day appointment with Ai easily by phone. Even though I didn't have an exact idea of what I wanted, Ai gave me the best cut to suit my current length and face shape. I'm very happy with the whole experience. Stylish bright space, and the vibe is very genuine and straight forward. Will return and recommend to all.

This is the most amazing salon I've ever been to! The concept, ambience, service and overall experience is TO DIE FOR. Sazz was my stylist and she is just plain amazing. I am so glad I found Saika at Forme a couple of years ago. After going to another salon and getting my hair completely ruined, Saika took great care my hair every time I go in to see her. Getting a haircut from somewhere new is always at high risk. Either you get a haircut you like or you never go back. It was my first time here and had a great experience! The scalp massage is so amazing that can put you to sleep. The haircut was good that I didn't have to wear a hat for the next few days. Keep it up!

I loved the atmosphere the moment I stepped into FORME Hair Salon. I sometimes get a bit nervous at a new hair salon but was able to relax from the beginning. I think the warm welcome from the two stylists there made it possible. I'm glad to find a salon that I can look forward to coming back again in Vancouver.

I went there last week after checking so many reviews. I have told him clearly how I want it and shown him a picture still ended up getting the worst hair cut. Felt like I wasted 75$ just for getting my split ends trim. Its just not worth it. He was not at all good at his job. Terrible service …

I’ve only been here twice (once for a cut, another for a dye job) but I think it has to be my new go-to. The service is excellent (and so careful and conscious during these difficult times) and it was one of the few times the results were exactly what I had imagined in my mind/tried to explain!

Got my hair cut by Ai today, and I absolutely love it! I have long thick hair, and I have had issues in the past with other salons giving me blunt, choppy layers. However, Ai did an amazing job. She took her time and I walked out the salon super happy with my hair.

The store has a relaxing vibe, being there for a few hours felt like a mini vacation. Even though I bleached to platinum damage was minimal because of quality products. Haircut was also well executed.

Came twice with high expectation from reading the reviews but overall disappointed. Maybe the hairdresser needs to be more leading throughout the process instead of asking for orders for every step.
