I was recommended by my friend who has been a client of Lay for years. When I called last week, the receptionist was helpful and super attentive with my needs and answered my inquiry. I wanted to do a hair treatment because my hair was bleached and wanted to get a scalp treatment. She booked an appointment and provided me of the options available. I even got a reminder call the day before the appointment. When I arrived, the receptionist was friendly and the salon was very Covid friendly. She took my jacket and gave me a robe and I was asked to wait until my appointment. Lay took me in and had a look at my hair and recommended me what was best for me. She said because my hair was clean olaplex was the best treatment option for me. She told me the cost of the hair treatment and asked if I was ok before proceeding with any of it. I decided on the olaplex treatment with infrared flat iron and a scalp treatment for today. Lay knew I was trying to find a shampoo that works and even gave me two samples to try which i really appreciated. My hair looked amazing and was transformed with her amazing hands! I had the pleasure of meeting Tomomi again after four or five years! The first time i met her was through a family member who lives in the area and prior to the pandemic. I was pleasantly surprised by the head massage she gave me and her gentle nature. I went back this weekend and booked Tomomi as i only knew her from before. The staff in the front are friendly and take care of their clients. They offer a locker and coat closet until clients are done with their appointments. The head massage is still as wonderful as the first time i went. Tomomi is a delightful and lovely lady. Her head massages are wonderful as i remember. We had a good chat during my appointment and she is gentle with her hands whilst using the hair dryer (other places use direct heat and it becomes hot). I am from Bellevue, WA and wish to find a Japanese stylist who can provide with the same services as i don't know when i'll be traveling to Vancouver next. Thank you Tomomi!

Went there for roots touch up so my black roots wouldn't clash with my blonde hair and ended up getting this (see pictures below) The treatment they recommended me was partial highlights (without telling me what that meant, I had to find out in the middle of the session that they were only doing the top half of my roots), and my roots ended up looking exactly the same, plus some black and yellow at the top. They also had to take out all the tinfoil in the middle of the session and redo my hair completely because they didn’t do it well enough the first time. A complete waste of time and money. They also refused to offer you water even if you've been sitting there for four hours without water

Microneedling and acupuncture with Susan was amazing as always! I get microneedling on a regular basis and this new microneedling machine without numbing had the best results for my skin. No skin tightness and peeling afterward and redness went away within the day. My face is very bright and smooth now. Pores are also look smaller. Acupuncture and cupping relieved my pain and nerve symptoms I was having. Amazing!

Julie cut my hair for the first time yesterday, I am very happy with my cut. Julie has the expertise, professionalism as well as the willingness to listen to the client's concerns. I will definitely visit the Salon and Julie again. I would also like to thank all the people who took their time to do Google reviews to allow me the benefit of finding an excellent hair stylist.

I found May just by the magic of IG algorithm, and decided to give her a try! I asked for a balayage, and as someone who’s never gotten one before, May was super patient and experienced to walk me through the different options so I can get the colour and effect I wanted. It turned out wonderful and received lots of compliments for it! Thank you May!

I had a cut + color appointment with May and everything went beyond well. May was very friendly, accomodating, and experienced. I had been trying to find a hairdresser that does good layer cuts and May did not disappoint! Overall, I was super happy and satisfied with my experience and I'll definitely visit Muse Hair Salon again.

Disappointingly Laura could not style with a basic hairdryer. And kept giving me excuses of which hair length doesn’t work, when skilled hairdressers should know what to work with & should knowledgeable where to cut to balance out the hair. Went somewhere who can work out much better and had this knowledge.

I recently had a great experience getting my perm here with Sophie as my stylist. She was exceptionally kind and made sure I was comfortable while putting on the perm rods. The perm turned out amazing. I highly recommend Sophie and this salon for their excellent service and skillful work.

I've been going here for 2 years and Lay is the only hair dresser I got to. She's meticulous, honest and thorough with her work. I've always come out loving my hair at the end. The balayage was impeccable and my haircuts are always on point.
