We took a cat to Falcon Pass for evaluation. He had been bit by something. He had been to Falcon Pass before, but more recently was being treated by a mobile vet. I took the cat there because he was showing drastic symptoms due to the bite he endured. I was told that the best chance that cat had to survive was a blood transfusion at Gulf Coast. This is a cat that refuses to stay indoors and loves to climb sewers. After begging for any other option I was sent home with steroids and antibiotics. He continued to worsen. A cat rescuer told me to try just the steroid. I was skeptical, but willing to try anything. One dose of steroid only and that cat was clawing our staircase once again. My point here is to ask questions and if you have time get 2nd opinions. I care so much for animals, but I also want to know I’m doing the right thing financially. Falcon Pass basically told me this cat would die without a blood transfusion ($3,000+). He’s back to destroying furniture (at my house and our neighbors) and climbing sewers after a simple steroid treatment. Also - don’t come at me with your “outside cat” agenda. This cat refuses to stay indoors. He groomed all the hair off his hind side just trying to get out. I took him to specialists and had him on anxiety meds. He is now 100% himself just going outdoors regularly.

I can not say enough nice things about Dr. Borovik and Veronica. We began seeing Dr. Borovik a few years ago while she was working at another vet practice, after losing one of our dogs, due in part, to a much less competent vet in our area. After many assurances from said vet, that our other dog Franklin was perfectly healthy we took him to see Dr. Borovik where we discovered (as we had suspected) that Franklin had severe Pneumonia. Dr. Borovik was able to diagnose this with out all the fancy and expensive tests the other vet had been charging us to run and immediately prescribed strong antibiotics. Franklin made a full recovery and Dr. Borovik called every day that week to check up on him to make sure he was recovering well. Since then Dr. Borovik has opened her own practice here in clear lake and we have welcomed a new furry friend into our family. Dr. Borovik and veronica have taken very good care of both Franklin and Faraday since. They have got us through seizure scares, tummy issues, a neuter, the time Franklin ate several pieces of charcoal, a brief brush with mange, and routine check ups and vaccinations. If you are looking for a vet that genuinely cares about your pet and treats you fairly and compassionately I highly recommend giving Dr. Borovik and Falcon Pass Animal Hospital a chance.

Dr. Borovik and her staff are the best. I've taken my dogs to her throughout the years and she is always the most caring and knowledgeable compared to other vets in the area. She and her staff were very understanding and patient with me as I was fearful to have my 11 year old girl go under anesthesia for a dental procedure. Dr. Borovik took the time to call me throughout the surgery to keep me updated and reassure me when it was done that everything went fine. Unfortunately I lost my girl unexpectedly months later due to a ruptured tumor that caught us by surprise at an emergency vet clinic afterhours. I was left devastated and confused by the whole ordeal so I called Dr. Borovik the next day to ask questions about it all and she took the time to talk with me and go over whatever questions she could even if she didn't see her. She helped me feel much better and I trust her. I really appreciate her and her clinic.

Was sent here because the Petco nearby was out of the prescription dog food for my dog. Happened to be in a bad situation because car was not driving properly, and the shop wasn't able to look at my car until the next day. The hospital here was unable to even sell me one can of dog food with my prescription in hand because they had not seen the dog personally. The fact that they would rather let a dog starve than sell me 1 overpriced can of dog food made me realize that it is all about money for this establishment with little regard for the patients they see. The overall experience left me with a disgust for humans in modern society and distrust of this place specifically. If you are looking for a place to take your pet, I hope that this would be the last place you choose. There are plenty of places that might consider the wellbeing of animals that aren't dependent on the amount of profit they are making.

I have been looking for a vet like Dr Borovik for a long time. My first experience with her was for an emergency situation for my cat. I was so impressed with the staff and the doctor. She is an old school type of vet that chose what she does because she loves the animals and takes an enormous amount of pride in her work and her excellence is the result of it. She is very conscious of the the fact that I am paying for everything and doesn't recommend the most expensive treatment possible as the only possibility to help my pet. She does not sell extra tests/add ons constantly as some vets do...all of these points is what I mean by old school. Her prices are very reasonable. She is the only vet at the clinic so you will always see her and it is never a surprise which vet you will get when you go. I highly recommend this clinic. (BTW I love the classical music that they play at the clinic. So relaxing .)

I have nothing but good things to say about Falcon Pass Animal Hospital. For the last five years my family and I have been taking our furbabies there and have received nothing but the best care. They are incredibly professional and empathetic and have taken incredible care of our animals. A specific example is my own cat, Juniper, I rescued him off the streets in critical condition and brought him in as an emergency appointment that day. They took June in immediately and saved his life and gave me the best and most comprehensive advice that I could do at home to make him as comfortable as possible. A year later he is doing extremely well and is the happiest and healthiest cat he can be. I am very proud to be a loyal customer of this amazing local, women led, business. Thank you all for only providing the best care for my family.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Falcon Pass Animal Hospital and Dr. Borovik! Veronica (only other staff I have met) and Dr. Borovik are super pleasant and truly seem to enjoy animals and helping them. I trust bringing my puppy to them and never feel like I'm being led do do any testing that isn't necessary. Dr. Borovik always tells me all options for tests and exams and most of the time says "we can.... but I don't think you need to waste the money on it." I appreciate that! I like the previous vet I was using, and initially tried out Falcon Pass because it's closer, but am thrilled that they are cheaper and I still feel like I'm getting the best care for my puppy. My puppy loves going there and loves the attention and praises she receives. Weird, I know. I remind her every time that we are there that she's not supposed to enjoy the vet. :)

Dr. Borovik was an absolute hero for my little Sophie. She was being treated for Parvovirus, and Sophie was a strong little girl, but eventually the virus overtook her little body and she passed away in transit to a 24 hour care facility. Without the compassionate staff at Falcon Pass Animal Hospital Sophie would have passed away a lot sooner. If you're looking for a place to call a healthcare home for your baby, this is it! I wish I had known about them sooner, or Sophie would definitely still be here with us today. I'm confident in that, however, this virus is so deadly that really I'll never know, but the compassion and fast work gave her a second lease at life, and that is a gift. Thank you to everyone at Falcon Pass Animal Hospital, and I can't wait to bring in my next puppy, when ever that will be.

Simply wonderful. I moved so no longer take my sweet cats here but we had a good experience with Falcon Pass after unfortunately getting to know them better when one cat had trouble. We worked primarily with Dr Sunderland (wonderful) but were taken care of by the others if she was out, so anxious parents be reassured response time was not a concern for me. I felt cats & I were cared for and listened to & the assessments were thorough. I never felt unnecessary treatment or testing was recommended, though we had options. Staff was always compassionate, professional, knowledgeable, kind, responsive and helpful. I appreciated I could communicate via call or e-mail. I imagine it’s not easy work to care for animals and their worried humans, but this clinic did a great job with us & we appreciate it!

I am so pleased with the service at Falcon Pass Animal Hospital. After hearing great reviews in the Clear Lake Facebook group I decided to check it out. My dog had been itching and it had gotten more severe. I called and they had an appointment that same day which is already awesome. They really listened to what the problem was and the veterinarian called me (bc Covid) I sat in my car. The vet was friendly and gave me a few recommendations of how I could proceed. I did not feel pressured to buy anything or feel like I was being haggled like so many vets do. She was very efficient in explaining what was visibly wrong and what they could do to find the origin of the problem. I highly recommend bringing your fur baby here, they seem to truly be pass it and caring about what they do.

We found a little puppy and called Falcon Pass Animal Hospital on weekend. Dr. Borovik was willing to open clinic on Sunday to check out the puppy. It was pretty amazing in first place. And then they went out and beyond taking care of our little dog, she was checked thoroughly for all kinds of problems, diagnosed, vaccinated, neutralized. Dr. Borovik offered to keep our puppy one extra day at the facility to make sure she recovered well after surgery. We were given full report on her condition and treatment plan. We got updated from the hospital and some follow-up messages. If you want your pet to be taken care of in the most professional way this is place to go. I will definitely recommend Falcon Pass Animal Hospital to anybody without any hesitations!

Dr. Borovik is absolutely amazing! I had to ship my two huskies from Houston to Russia, which requires a USDA endorsed health certificate 5 days before they enter Russia. Since their journey took 3 days of travel, I had a very limited window to find a USDA accredited vet who could see them and send their certificates to Austin for endorsement. I called Dr. Borovik on a Monday (practically in tears) and she agreed to examine them that day and complete the health certificates the same day! She even corrected a mistake on one of the forms that my shipping company had prepared! Because of her, my two fur babies were able to enter Russia with no problem! I will forever be grateful to Dr. Borovik and her wonderful team! Спасибо большое!!

Dr. Borovik has been great with our 2 dogs over the past year, specifically with our newest addition, Sansa. After rescuing her, we've had several small worrisome issues and Dr. Borovik has been so helpful in easing our minds and treating Sansa as if she were her own. Dr. Borovik is now helping us through treating heartworms. This has had me very upset and worried but Dr. Borovik has gone above expectations and has called multiple times at various hours to check on Sansa after her treatments, and also to check on us too making sure we have no questions or concerns. She is very thorough is her care and treats us as individuals rather than just another number in their system. The clinic is very clean and the staff is super friendly!

This has to be the greatest vet in Clear Lake. We take our cats Honey and Pepper to get groomed and they do a terrific job. Plus they are very loving to them maybe a little bit more to Honey. Pepper is just as sweet she's a woman misunderstood at times... lol They do treat them very sweet and are reasonable with their pricing. If not we would not be able to get them groomed. Check them out you want be disappointed. We do not trust our fur babies with just anyone. We now have our sweet puppy Maggie a few months and they are so sweet with her she weighs only 12 lbs and scared of everything but they treat her so sweet. Dr Sunderland is awesome!! You want be disappointed going there. Sadly Honey is no longer with us!

I took my dog Daisy here today for skin problems- staff was SO kind, thoughtful, and helpful. I recently moved here from out of state and we were worried about having to find somewhere new to take our 44lbs pit mix who thinks she’s a 10lbs lap dog. I tend to ask a million questions and they took their time patiently explaining our options, treatment plan and next steps. Everyone was so sweet to her and when I expressed worry about her nails at the end of the visit (she gets anxious and my husband recently broke his collarbone so he can’t help me trim them like he usually does) they took time to help me before we left. We’ll definitely be returning & recommending to others!

I had an emergency situation with my dog over Memorial Day weekend. My normal vet was closed. Having heard great things about Dr. Borovik I decided to head to Falcon Pass Animal Hospital to see if they could help. They immediately got my dog in and quickly assessed her wounds. A treatment plan was recommended and they treated her quickly and she was home by early afternoon. Dr. Borovik even called on Sunday to find out how she was doing. The pricing for my dog to be put under to have her torn ear repaired and bite wound cleaned was very fair in my opinion. I highly recommend Falcon Pass Animal Hospital and thank them for making a very stressful situation much better!

I just want to thank Dr. Sunderland for the gracious and compassionate bedside manner she displayed when we went in to have my cat put to sleep. She and the tech were so respectful and kind and put my cat's comfort above all else, and treated her humanely even after she passed. Also many thanks to Dr. Norton for being frank and to the point about the short amount of time we had left with my senior cat and the best way to proceed that put the cat's wellbeing and comfort over anything else. I appreciate that while we are grieving, we know we made the right choice because Dr. Norton and Dr. Sunderland were so open and helpful during the end of our pet's life.

After 25 years with one vet…who knew me and all my fur kids through the years like the back of his hand…once retired, I felt lost. Decided to try Falcon Pass after seeing SO many positive reviews, and here I am writing one as well. Dr Borovik and her team of highly competent and compassionate staff are a beautiful team. Honest, transparent, gentle, and thorough. Today I had the pleasure of having Haley as our vet tech, and felt so cared for and “heard”. If you are new to the community or just looking for a new vet, don’t hesitate to give Borovik and her crew a try. Your 4-legged child will thank you!

My lil dude was very ill, and he had never been ther (only my cat had) I called and told them I needed to get on right away, on a Saturday, and they said bring him right away. When I walked in the door, it's like they knew who he was and sent me straight to a room and put him on oxygen. They took great care of him, but I had to bring him back a few days later after first meds didn't work. I saw both vets during those visits and they were both so amazing, caring, loving and detailed. My sweet lil Pomeranian is 12, and I thought the worst when he got sick, but he's doing so much better! Thank you!

We just moved to the area, and I was so nervous about finding a new vet for my girl, Bailey. Bailey is my 14 year old maltipoo, and she has some senior issues (cataracts, etc.). Since we moved, she has developed some really bad separation anxiety issues - and the vet was more than willing to discuss this with me, along with all of my other concerns. The staff at this clinic was so friendly, actually cared about us, took their time, and they were very gentle with her. They made us feel very welcome, and I am so thankful to have found an amazing vet! Highly recommend!!!

Just wanted to leave a review based on my positive experiences. I have been coming here for a couple of years and haven’t had a bad experience yet. All the staff members I’ve met or spoken to have always been helpful and have great follow through. I’ve been to other places where I truly feel I’m treated as though myself and dog are invisible. Not here! They always follow up with an email or call to check how things are going, and the service has always been great. Dr. Borovik is so kind, patient, and knowledgeable. I really do feel like she cares.

Doctor Ecaterina Borovik is a godsend! Best vet I have been to in over 15 years. Very thorough, informative and decently priced. She tends to be lower priced than most vest.. just a tad more expensive than low cost. She will call you to check up on your pets and give you an update while she has your pets there. You can tell this is her passion. She lives for her work. I brought my cat in for a check up after her dental surgery to make sure everything is healing well and she didn't charge me! I never had a vet do that! I cannot praise her enough!

I brought 3 rescued kittens with respiratory infections, worms, and ear mites to Dr. Borovik. All problems were addresses and treatment started. Veronica, the vet assistant, was very compassionate and did great job cleaning ears and medicating the babies, all at no extra charge for my rescues! Hopefully, we will be able to find good homes for them soon. I was pleasantly surprised with the prices paid, half of what I expected. The office is very nice too. All positive experience. Will use them again and I highly recommend the place!

I have been taking my animals here for a few years and wouldn't go anywhere else. Drs Borovik and Sunderland are both knowledgeable, compassionate and have an excellent manner with both pets and people. I feel I've always been given honest and complete information about what's going on with my pets as well as the treatment options and realistic prognosis. We've been going to see Dr. Borovik for a long time and her new location is all sparkly and much closer to where we live. We took our dog to the new clinic to have her teeth cleaned and cared for due to some gum problems. She took great care of both our dog and her people! Over the last few years, the doctor has made house calls when necessary -- even on weekends -- and always takes the time needed to make sure everything turns out right. Go to her new clinic. You AND your pet will be glad you did.

So accommodating. We called our old vet office and they were very rude and said we should have called earlier even though I didn't know what was going on earlier (we called at 10:00 am on Saturday morning) and never even offered to squeeze him in...we had been using them for 13 years and 4 dogs! A friend recommended Falcon Pass Animal Hospital and they gladly squeezed our dog in. They were very friendly and sympathetic towards ours and our dogs needs. Our 2 dogs will now be "furever" patients!

Had to take my dog there after an attack at the dog park. Facility was very clean, receptionist and nurses were very nice and attentive. Dog was a little on edge because of the attack but they knew how to take it slow and easy to make her feel comfortable. Vet seemed very knowledgable and also treated my dog respectively. Prices were very reasonable and even made sure to do a follow up call the next day to check on my dogs recuperation. Will for sure go back even though I hope I never need to

Best vet office ever. The entire staff is exceptional. I had an emergency situation with my dachshund and Dr. Borovik called me after hours to check in on his condition. Everyone here treats my dogs as if they were their own. Very reasonably priced as well. If any additional services or tests are needed during your visit, they make you aware of the price and get your permission first, unlike other vets who run the exams without asking and surprise you with the bill later. Highly recommend!

Beyond being reasonably priced and convenient, the compassion and care provided by everyone in the practice is more than I could have expected. I have three pets and all of them are patients here. Dr. Borovik & Dr. Sunderland and the entire staff at Falcon Pass are incredible. Our chihuahua is 19 and we wouldn't trust her with anyone else. The whole office is caring, empathetic, and committed to helping pets live the best quality of life they can have without pushing unnecessary treatments. They are clear spoken, easy to understand, and will take the time to explain all your options so that you can make informed choices.

Love this place! The tech was very patient with my unsocialized dog and the vet was super professional and helpful. They made me feel comfortable bringing my dog to the vet, as he was very scared and anxious. Falcon Pass Animal Hospital is my dog's new favorite vet!!! They were able to see us right away as a new patient after my dog had an allergic reaction to his vaccines from another clinic. Dr. Borovik was wonderful! We have found our new favorite Vet here in Clear Lake! Great location, clean and modern office, organized paperwork and very caring staff. They are also knowledgeable and friendly. They were so patient with our little Jack Russell, who loves people but doesn't really like shots and examinations! Veronica the Vet Tech was awesome! Amazing doctor: warm, personal, very attentive, very knowledgeable. Was very highly recommended by ER animal hospital veterinarian and we soo thankful for recommendations. Also, very impressed with office personnel- my scared, histerical, skittish kitty was purring during the exam and procedures. I've been going to see Dr. Borovik for almost 2 years now. She treats my chihuahua Jasper. She is honestly the best vet I've ever taken my dog to. It's more than just value, even though that is a good factor, she honestly cares. I have never been to a vet who calls just to check on how Jasper has been doing. I will continue to take my dog to her and I always refer my friends to her as well.

We have been using Falcon Pass for about 5 years. Everyone has always been so friendly and helpful to us and our animals. They were also able to help me find my fur-babies chip information where I misplaced them during a move. The vet is knowledgeable and friendly. We definitely recommend FPAH! We still travel here for our vet needs even though we’ve moved a city over.

Falcon Pass Animal Hospital has met every need for my pets (routine checkups, pet injury, illness, arthritic dog, a full examination for a rescue+heart worm treatment + neutering) with diligence and compassion. When my brother had to say goodbye to his canine companion after 18 years, the clinic gave nothing less than angelic grace.

This hospital has a wonderful and compassionate staff! I love how they quickly got my pets and I into an exam room and were willing to give me quotes for different things I was considering for my dogs. The prices are very competitive and the exam was very thorough. I'm glad I found this clinic for my pets' needs.

We had to bring our puppy in on the afternoon of Christmas Eve for eye issues. And though it was a holiday, Dr. Borovik and the entire staff were excellent. The courtesy, professionalism, and expertise surpassed expectations. Our puppy is doing much better because of this, and we highly recommend Falcon Pass.

We’ve recently begun bringing our dogs here, and so far it’s been absolutely wonderful! The office is small, yet very cozy, and the staff are very friendly. They’re prices for service are very reasonable. I would highly recommend bringing your fur babies here for good care by friendly people.

I really love Falcon Pass Animal Hospital. They are the best! I love the vets, Dr. Borovik and Dr. Sunderland. They are very knowledgeable and help me keep my pets healthy. I feel like they truly care about my pets. I also love the ladies at the front desk. They are very nice and helpful.

We transferred our dogs care to Falcon Pass after bad experiences at another local vet. The office is clean, the wait is minimal and the staff is competent and pleasant. We have been extremely happy with Dr Sunderland and the other vets. Highly recommend!

I just love the staff here. They really care about your pets and are always so nice. The veterinarians provide great care and recommendations. They always spend a lot of time in the room to get to know our pet and answer every question we have.

They are incredibly kind, caring and professional with our two dogs. They also consult with you up front on any costs to make sure that you are ok with them. They will suggest tests/treatments but they are never pushy-always respectful.

It is tough loosing a pet. We decided to get our dog cremated with the idea of releasing his ashes to set him free but after receiving him back with the amazing arrangement....we decided to keep him <3 The service was superb !

Called and asked if I could bring my dog in who was limping. The doctor held off going to lunch and waited for me to arrive. Staff treated him like he was theirs. Friendly service and the doctor was knowledgeable and helpful.
