Don’t come here expecting to get notable attention in your health or feel like you are investing into a relationship, there is none. They very pleasantly push you through their process and lead you out. I was lead through their process in and out less then an hour. I had issues i wanted addressed and two days after the appointment I still didn’t know what the “plan” was to address my dental work. I scheduled my annual checkup which includes cleaning and I mentioned to the phone reception that I wanted to talk about additional dental health concerns, slightly painful tooth. I already knew I needed something done to the extent of a metal crown but I wanted a full consultation. Conversation with a scheduler ended with a remark that they don’t specify the details of the visit and told me to ask the dental team when they call me in. The hygienist bought me back and I mentioned I had issues with my teeth that was beyond a cleaning. She acknowledged and said the doctor would be able to look at that and went right to work, was very pleasant experience. Cleaning consisted of scraping and fluoride polish. After the cleaning a Dentist practically ran in saying nothing to me and took a moment to look at the computer, looked at my teeth said something in code, pulled back and walked out. My chair started to raise and the ladies told me that my dental plan was being worked on. A couple minutes later dental assistant came back and told me that accessing my account information was taking too long and the issue wouldn’t be resolved that day. Their resolution was that I would get it in the mail in a couple days. I paused at the incomplete feeling and asked for a digest of “what the Plan is” and if that can be explained. I got a look of confusion and asked what kind of information was I looking for? I said the doctor never said anything to me and I want to know what procedure is being recommended and what materials will be involved. They reiterated that the doctor will provide a recommendation in the mail. This is not a good office in my opinion. They are providing a general service and give no time for intimate care. A robot could accomplish what these people do. Going somewhere else.
Do not go here. We as a family had to go here due to our insurance. So far 2 of us have been told to get root canals. I went on September 22 2016 for 3 cavity fillings. 1st they tried to numb my right lower side and actually numbed me all up through my eye. I was scared and told Kristy Fisher. She told me not to worry it happens all the time. I am 50 and have been to the dentists many times and have never had my eye numb. Things got worse from there. My teeth were still not numb so she begin to work on the filling on the left side. It was numb. She broke 2 bits on taking out an old filling then proceeded to tell me I need to go to a root canal specialist. I asked why would you remove an old filling that not hurting then tell me to go some where else. She said don't be rude I could leave the hole open and walk away right now. There was a kid crying next door so she got up and left to take of the parent so they could get the kid out of there. How rude is that. When she came back she said ' ok what do you want me to do fill it or no just leave the hole i drilled out'. I said fill it. I was in shock she would act like that. She shoved a filling in it prescribed a pain killer and antibiotics. Then she ask me if I wanted her to work on my other 2 teeth . I refused service on those 2. She left and the lady helping her was trying her best to resolve the tension. How sad that she thinks she can get away with such behavior. Not only did she lose 5 patients she put her staff in a horrible spot. This is the very first time I have ever posted anything but people need to know who Kristy Fisher is before the go to there. I Would not even give her 1 star however it wont let post unless you do
I have taken both my kids to this dental office for about 5 years. We hadn't had any issues until this last year. About a year ago, after a teeth cleaning, they told me my son was good until the next cleaning. Shortly thereafter he had braces put on. At his next cleaning, they tell me they have found 8 cavities and need to have him back for at least 2 separate appointments to have them all filled. He is very anxious about dental work which they knew from a prior tooth extraction. I scheduled one appointment for the fillings and when we showed up (which I had to take off work) after we get back to the room, the assistant tells me they can't work on him. The note in file regarding his anxiety level said he should go to a pediatric specialist dentist and one that would do the work while my son was sedated. I asked for names of dentists and they gave me one name and said they weren't sure if this dentist would do it or not, which when I called, they could not help me. So now I've wasted an afternoon and didn't have any dental work done. I ended up finding ONE dentist in all of KC would would sedate an older child to do the work and it was in Prairie Village. After going to them, they noticed that the x-rays Family Dental sent over were the ones prior to my son getting braces and there were actually 9 cavities. He had the cavities PRIOR to getting braces which was the visit the dentist told me he was good! How do you miss seeing 8 or 9 cavities? I have no confidence in this dental office at all now.
I have been seeing Dr. Bagley for about 2 years now. I came to them after some pretty nightmarish experiences in the past with dental work being done when I wasn't numb. In these last couple years, they have not once had an issue getting me numb. Today, was a weird day and all the tricks they have been using (that they keep careful notes about because my mouth is weird and they are thorough) just didn't work the first time. They are all so wonderful that I had no ideas that they would hurt me but my anxiety didn't care about that. I was waiting for them to come back to try numbing me again when panic set in. I was trying my best to stay calm and trust these women who have never steered me wrong. Then one of the hygienists stopped in just to let me know they would be in shortly. She must have seen the look on my face because she asked if everything was alright. I couldn't hold back the tears. I blubbered my apologies for crying in the chair when nothing had happened yet but she stopped me. First, she offered me a weighted blanket to help soothe my nerves. After she covered me up, she assured me that they would make sure I was good and numb and it was understandable to be nervous. She was just doing her job but it meant the world to me. The level of genuine compassion EVERYONE at this office has shown me breaks my heart in the best way possible! They care because they are good people. (They got me numb the second try and everything went well too!)
I have really really bad anxiety, but the ENTIRE staff made me feel calm and in control. They answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. I felt like everyone genuinely cared about my expierience. Most importantly to me though, is that even though there was a miscommunication, I was able to get my chipped tooth fixed. I have had a chipped tooth for a very long time. I was so excited going into my appointment today. Then I was told that because of my insurance the plan had changed and I was not scheduled to get my tooth fixed, just scheduled for a deep cleaning. I was upset, but I know it was not their fault and so I did not say anything. The lady that was doing the cleaning was so so nice, and she went above and beyind to ask the doctor if we could get it done today. The doctor agreed to do it, even though I am sure she was super busy. When I saw my smile for the first time, I was speechless. I don't think they understood just how much getting my tooth fixed meant to me. I do not have enough words to express my gratitude. Today was literally a life changing day! Thank you from the bottom of my heart to the staff of Family Dental Care, from the receptionist to the doctor, thank you! You have given me back my smile, a smile that i have not seen in a long time. My mom was in tears with me when she saw me on a video call from the parking lot lol.
I decided to go to this dentist after hearing rave "reviews" from co-workers. I was pretty disappointed with their service. Especially with Dr. Bagley. I had a appointment with her, I took the time out of MY day, in case she didn't know I work 5 days a week, I got a call from one of her receptionists saying that my appointment was cancelled because she had some "emergency." What a lame excuse and very unprofessional. I've never had any dentist, doctor cancel an appointment on the same day. When I called the office, they didn't bother to get me in to see one of her other sisters/dentists on that same day! At least they could have been more accommodating, and I didn't get an apology for her last minute cancellation. Now, if their policy is to call "24 hours" in advance to cancel appointments/reschedule , shouldn't that work both ways? Also, I had to get extraction done, the hygienist picked out an oral surgeon for me and I remember the dentist said they were going to see what surgeon works with my insurance that's in network. They picked out the surgeon and scheduled the surgery. Well after a few weeks, I got a bill saying that the surgeon was an out of network doctor. WTH? First, make sure YOU double check to see if whatever dentist, surgeon is an in network doctor, big mistake, always double check because they could be wrong.
I hated it. My appointment was at 11. I arrived 15 mins prior to do my new patient paper work. I finished before my appointment time. I handed my paper work to the front desk. She had to told " Ok, I will let the back know that you are ready". I sat in the waiting area in front of her for 55 minutes. No one had come to me and apologized or told me of any news. Finally 1hr have past, the assistant calls me in and took 2 PA's X-rays for the tooth I was having problems with. She then took me to my dental chair, I sat there another 30 minutes and finally the female DENTIST shows up. She had no interested of making small talk, or showing any interest about me or sincerely apologized to me for the lateness. Although she did mention they were running behind. SO WHAT!! LET THE PATIENT KNOW YOU ARE RUNNING BEHIND!! I was interested in crowns or veneers on my front tooth. She looked less than 3 minutes and told me they will send a predetermination to my insurance to see the cost. That never happen. They never called me back. Nor did I received letter from my Insurance company. They didn't want my business and so I will never go back there EVER AGAIN. I am a dental assistant also, they need to show more compassion and have better time management on their hands.
There was recently a problem with some discomfort that I was having. There were all kinds of thoughts I was having as to what the cause of the discomfort was. My planner was not available so I went through Google to get a contact number for the office. This visit encouraged the writing of a good review. I have seen Dr. Kristy Fisher for over 15+ years (Still cannot believe it has been that long). When calling and explaining my concern and about the discomfort I was having, they brought the situation to the attention of Dr. Kristy Fisher. They asked if I would be available to come in approx 3 hours later to be examined. I would like to also add that my wait was not that long. I got in to see her minutes after my scheduled time. After XRays, they had me in a chair where my dentist reviewed the XRays and started examining where the discomfort was. I was highly impressed with the professional experience and how quick the office was in getting me in to have the discomfort resolved. I would highly recommend Dr. Kristy Fisher to anyone that is wanting to switch or is looking for a dentist. Keep up the great work that you do!!!! You are appreciated!!!!
I have spent my entire life dreading the dentist because they never seemed to get me numb. After a particularly horrible experience at another office I was referred to this office. My first visit was for a crown and before I let them do anything I expressed my fears and to my utter surprise they listened with genuine concern. Most dentists have given me the impression that my concerns were unfounded and annoying. When the time came, Kim sat down with me ready to numb me up. She walked me through every step and made sure I was completely numb before they started. Not once did they rush me or acted bothered that my body didn't react to the numbing medicine like it "should". This was the first dental visit in years where I didn't walk away in tears. Dr. Bagley is wonderful! The office smells amazing! The decor is such that I didn't feel like I walked into dental office. It was warm and inviting. The staff is beyond wonderful. There is a palpable level of respect between the dentist and their staff. I got the impression that everyone likes working there. This is the only place I will ever go again.
Not only have I been a patient more 10 years but both of my children have for 7 years as well. Dr Kristy Fisher has been my primary dentist however we have been treated by Dr Erica Fisher & Dr Amy Bagley many times as well. Dr Kristy, Dr Erica & Dr Bagle provided phenomenal care at every visit. Not just excellent dentistry, excellent patient care. Every interaction I've had with Front Desk, Billing, Dental Assistant, Hygienist & Dentist has been positive. They provide information, discuss options, listen to any concern, set up treatment plans in the best ways for the patient. They are always pleasant, engaging & attentive to make sure we're comfortable. My twins were 3 years old when I began the dental check ups & cleanings every 6 months per pediatric recommendation. They staff & dentists provide such a comfortable atmosphere that with 1 exception they have been able to provide a complete exam & cleaning at every visit. They are exceptional in every way.
This review is coming from one of the scariest person when it comes to the dentist.... I felt so relaxed from the lady at the front desk all the way to Dr.Erica I broke my tooth and immediately they were so very helpful I have not ever felt like this before my experience was the GREATEST ever I would recommend EVERYONE to the Dentist office. ..I don't want to miss thanking anyone because everyone was GREAT.. get this I go back next week just for them to check and make sure everything is fitting right and to make sure I'm comfortable...who does that!!!!! I will get names next week and write another review andI. EXCITED to go back this is my dentist's for LIFE!!!!! PLEASE PLEASE if u need a dentist Are to establish a relationship with the dentist? Please try them please.!!!!! Thank you to FAMILY DENTAL CARE THE ENTIRE TEAM!!!!! I will forever be grateful to you ALL!!!! ❤️
We have been patients of Family Dental Care for many years! Today they went above and beyond for my children and me! I was nervous about bringing my two year old (and thirteen year old) to the office for all of our cleanings by myself. I hoped my daughter could watch my son while I had my cleaning and vice versa. When they wanted to both of us at once I was nervous. So many staff members stepped up to keep my two year old entertained! They allowed him to carefully touch the dental tools, they sprayed water in his mouth showing him how gentle it was, and they sprayed air into his hair to help him be not scared of the tools! He may have only barely let them count his teeth but I am beyond happy with the care they gave all of us today!!! Thank you for putting all of us at ease and getting us all taken care of at the same time and quickly!
They really rush you through. I don’t feel like they would actually tell me if they saw something concerning. Didn’t advise me on anything at all. I’m almost 30 years old and I’ve never gone to a dentist appointment where I’ve received zero feedback. I’ve also never been to a dentist who didn’t offer a fluoride treatment before leaving. It seems like they push through so many patients without giving them legitimate attention. I will not be returning. Going to go somewhere where they actually care about my health. Also.. whatever they did while cleaning my teeth is killing me now. My back molar hurts and my cheek is swollen. I’ve also never had that happen after a cleaning. It’s a shame because I’ve always actually enjoyed going to the dentist and I take pride in my teeth. This was my first negative experience with a dentist.
I attempted to make an appointment and the lady answering the phone was very rude when speaking with me. The receptionist cut me off as I was trying to explain someone left me a voicemail. She asked, "what did it say?" I told her I was returning their call and had not listened to the voicemail yet. She told me to call back after I listen to the voicemail despite me wanting to make an appointment. I very hesitantly did check the voicemail that told me to call back to make an appointment. I called her back and thanked her for being rude to me and she offered me an appointment for next April......April 2024. One of the worst examples of customer service I have experienced. I told her she can keep the appointment and I found a new provider. Horrible service.
I was so glad I found family dental and Erica Fisher over 10 years ago. Before family dental, I dreaded every appointment because they were hours long and always trying to push expensive procedures, that I now find, I never really needed. I Spent 8 years in braces (original old-fashioned banded) and figured that my teeth were probably in great need of all the previous painful and lengthy periodontal procedures. When I go into Family dental, I am always in and out in less than 40 minutes. Always pleasant and always professional. I even got a call the night before from Erica to remind me of my premeds I need to take because of my knee replacements. She was concerned that I may need to verify I had some on hand. That’s personalized service.
I am sooooo pleased with the way Dr. Erika and Devin have worked with me to get my smile back. It had been years since I had the confidence to smile. I was missing a front tooth, and the ones on either side were either rotten or damaged. I would put my hand over my mouth to laugh, so that everyone would not be able to see the missing, ugly, rotten teeth. It was embarrassing and my self esteem was under the dirt. I had those teeth pulled on 12/28/2021, and the new teeth were put in immediately. Amazingly, it was almost pain free. Those ladies know how to deaden the teeth with very minimal pain. Now, I can look ahead to the new year with a new smile, and my newfound confidence. Thank you, Dr Erika and Devin. God bless you!!!
I had to change my original review, based on scheduling and billing questions. Calling in to verify scheduled services revealed that there was a break down of communications that related to services. I feel as though services were scheduled incorrectly on purpose, to bill for services that weren't covered by insurance. Scheduling that I confirmed over the phone, were changed in a last minute email and I received a survey regarding the services that we're never actually done. I feel this business wasn't fully straightforward on what services should have been prioritized to benefit my health. I do understand that people do have to make money, but it should not jeopardize my health.
I have been going to this office since I moved to KC almost 8 years ago. I have never had an issue with service. 90% of the time they see you within 15 minutes of appointment with little wait time in the chair. The other 10% have been due to emergency or just short staffed. It happens with any business. They do understand my time is valuable and do a very good job to get me in an out in a timely manner. No offense, but who wants to spend more time in a dentist office than is necessary. The office and staff are 1st rate and very professional. You won't find a more professionally run dental office. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Wow what a great staff, from the time I called with my concern to the time I left. I called in and received a quick on time appointment. When I arrived they did an easy Covid screen that you can tell had some thought put behind it. I was then taken to the chair by Abby for some quick x rays. Shortly after I was seen by the DR and Britney who removed the irritation causing my pain. Everything was explained every step of the way and everyone practiced the guidelines for Covid all with a cheerful spirit. I am sure I missed some names but the whole staff is great. I would recommend this team. Cliff Woodsmall
I recently developed TMJ. At a regular appointment Dr. Kristy suggested small Botox injections to relieve the discomfort. She is so careful to explain where the injections go and the reason for each place injected. She and her assistant do the injections just right, in the correct places (double/triple checks) and provide the best dose for each side of my jaw (different doses for each). For my regular dentist appointments I found a hygienist who I feel does an especially good job on my teeth and they schedule my appointments with her. Love the personal touches! Well done Dr. Kristy Fisher!
I'm so glad Family Dental Care was recommended to me as I'm new to Kansas City this year. Dr. Kristy Fisher has the most amazing "dental chair-side manners"! She is always so considerate of my emotional state of being. To be honest I used to have a fear of dentists but I don't anymore thanks to the amazing care I always receive at Family Dental Care. Dr. Fisher's assistant, Whitney, is also truly amazing at her profession. They are a great team! Everyone there has been so helpful and considerate! I highly recommend Dr. Kristy Fisher, especially if you have any dental reservations!
FIND A DIFFERENT DENTIST! This is one of the most disorganized dental offices I have ever experienced. They do not follow through with call backs, provide minimal explanation on anything they are attempting to charge you for, schedule appointments without notification and then will send you a bill when you miss it. I also left the office being told that I had to make zero payment and was recently sent a bill notifying my that not only did I owe money, but it was well past due, with zero attempts to call or prior bills. I would not recommend this dentist office to a single person.
I loved my experience there - everyone is professional and friendly. The place is welcoming, relaxing, and clean. I trust them with my teeth and actually somewhat enjoy going despite my dental anxiety. Looking at the photos on the website, and my recent experience, there may be an issue that I am passionate about: diversity. The staff appears to be all beautiful, white women. Are there no people of color or other ethnicity that are qualified to work at Family Dental Care? I apologize if I missed someone.I'd like to see more diversity of humans when I next visit.
My husband Jon and I been seeing the sister for more than 15 yrs, mainly Kristi. My husband been in a wheelchair for many of those years before he passed, they. shown him respect and like a man that he was. He loved going to the dentist. He had bad teeth due to disease, Dr. Kristi worked with us, did everything she could to safe his teeth. They are compassionate team. Just nice to know their are still people that truly love and care for You in whole. Thanks Dr. Kristi, and assistant Whitney ,(star war talks) they meant so much to him. Julie
Our family has seen Dr. Fisher for years now and high recommend her. We tried to take our daughter to a pediatric dentist and our daughter asked to go back to Dr. Fisher instead of seeing the pediatric dentist. I think that speak volumes for the care she provides to her patients. She’s kind and listens to my daughter and makes her feel so comfortable with her care. She’s able to communicate the care plan and provide at home care procedures effectively. I couldn’t be more thankful to have such a care provided to my family and children.
I love the dentist and staff at Family Dental Care.Erica is my dentist and I will not go to another dentist, ever. They are attentive, supportive and care about my dental fears. Kim is my Hygienist and has been for at least 15 years!! If you are afraid of dentist this the place that will be patient and understanding of your fears. Dawn and the front office staff set the tone for a great experience with their smiles and friendly greeting. They are the best; you will not go wrong using Family Dental Care services:)
Family Dental is the Best! My family started with Dr Erica when she first opened her practice, many years ago. We've each also had the opportunity to see both Dr Kristy and Dr Amy and we are comfortable with all three of them. These ladies know how to take care of their patients and are fast and friendly. You can't go wrong with any of them. Just yesterday my husband needed to get in for a broken tooth. Ended up getting a crown but they were able to work him in and fix it same day. Staff is awesome as well.
I have always had anxiety about going to the dentist. Due to a change in job and dental coverage, I had to find a new dentist and yesterday I went with my 2 children. As we arrived, I could feel my anxiety growing, but after entering it rapidly decreased. The staff was professional and kind. They were incredibly well prepared for our visit and so well organized. I LOVED IT! My exam and cleaning was thorough, I was listened to and although I was sad to leave our previous dentist, I could not be happier.
I just wanted to say that the owners of this dentist office actually care about how you look and are some of the most amazing people to have met and do business with Dr.Fisher and her staff are a joy to be around and sincerely care.I would give them. Out of 1to 10 a 12.. If your looking for a new office or one for your family This would be a great choice for your family or you. Just want to say thank you for my smile and the kindness and joy your staff and owners bring when you come in.
All the dentists and staff are very nice and professional and we’ve been happy with their work. Unfortunately, they are so busy it is extremely difficult to get in for appointments. Anytime I’ve needed to reschedule a regular checkup, they can’t get me in for 5-6 months and they do not utilize a waiting list. This most recent time, I was told to call each morning to see if there have been any cancellations. After several days of trying, I’m giving up and am looking for a new dentist.
I have alot of Anxiety going to the dentist. I shared that with the office. I have to say hands down they were amazing and so friendly. They talk you through it all, tell you if anything feels funny or not right to let them know. I had the best experience ever going to a dentist. They also use newer technology to put the shots in it is regulated by a machine when being injected. It doesn't just go all in at once. I highly recommend them! Thank you Family Dental !
I cannot emphasize enough the professional courtesies and thoughtfulness that were extended to me at Family Dental Care by Dr. Kristy Fisher and the entire staff. The diligence that the staff and she displayed to make sure that I received the highest level comfort and proper treatment exceeded any all expectation that I could imagine. I want to personally thank everyone involved that made me feel so important and special to take care of my personal needs!
Family Dental Care is the Greatest Dental Office I have had to opportunity to be a member of in Kansas City, Missouri. The Staff at Family Dental Cares treats you like a Family Member. The are Professional, Courteous, Reliable and Dependable. The Staff provides Excellent Customer Service and is very accommodating to your needs. I am so glad that I found Family Dental Care. Thank you Family Dental Care for providing painless and affordable Dental Care.
Family Dental Care is at the TOP of all service operations. They have the latest in technology and know how to use it. When it comes to service, the treatment of the patient could not be at a higher standard. Everyone treats you like family from the moment you walk in the door until the moment you leave. The staff is fantastic and the dentists are miraculous! I could not be happier with anyone else. I Iook forward to going to the dentist!!!!
I went in for my 6 month cleaning on February 12th. Sydney, a new employee was the hygienist. It was her first day there. Unbelievable. I have never had a more professional and thorough cleaning, ever. Thank you for such a superb hygienist! I hope that she remains at Family Dental Care. You all hit the jackpot ! You should be extremely grateful and proud to have such an outstanding person on your team. Truly she is an asset❣️ Rene’e
I have been going to family dental care on and off for about 2-3 years. Recently I’ve had more frequent visits due to some work needing done. The staff is always so friendly from the front desk to the assistants and dentist. They know i have anxiety with dental work and always make sure I’m comfortable as possible. They’ve gone above and beyond when they haven’t had to just to get the best results & making me love my smile again!
I can not say enough good about this place! I have 5 children 7 and under, and they get my entire family in together and done within an hour! They work with us to make it easy on our family, they are absolutely wonderful to our children, they teach them, and my kids actually get excited to go to the dentist! Never have we had even a mediocre experience...always a great experience! I recommend them to all my friends and family!
I am thrilled with the dental services I receive at Family Dental. Every one of their employees are fast, efficient, and professional. They use the latest technology and do a number of things in-house so that you don't have to make more than one trip. I no longer have anxiety about going to the dentist because I know they will take good care of my teeth and I will be comfortable the entire time.
What en excellent experience. There was some trouble with my dental insurance for my root canal/crown. Without asking Dr. Erica quickly applied a discount to my bill because of the confusion. Could not recommend this business enough! Everything was handled so professionally and although I had an issue they were quick to make it right for me. Can’t say enough good things about this office!
Dr. Kristy Fisher and her staff are hands down the BEST dental practice in the KC Metro area, and that's why my wife and I chose her years ago and continue to drive up from south Leawood for our dental needs. I also want to give special notice to Whitney & Abby as well for providing their stellar care assisting Dr. Fisher. BOTTOM LINE?...This is the ONLY dental practice we'll use.
I've been a patient with Family Dental Care for 15+ years. I have never had a bad experience. I trust them for all my dental needs. The staff (actually family) makes me feel at home. Comfort, friendliness, compassion, and their expertise make my visits a no worry experience. Do yourself a favor and visit Family Dental Care for your next dental checkup or any other dental needs.
I have been going to Family dental care for two years now and every visit has been world class. everyone is so nice and extremely professional. i have had my teeth cleaned, x-rays and now just started invisalign. I am very happy with the results and have recommended them to my friends and family. I would (and do) highly recommended Family dental care!!!!
The staff at Family Dental was very kind and accommodating during these trying times with COVID-19. Whitney provided extreme attention to detail during my procedure and was very thorough with her explanation of what was happening the entire time. I love her great attitude and caring personality. Thank you for the excellent customer service. Jennifer J
I've received care from Family Dental Care for two years now. I'm sure with my high anxiety about sitting in a dentist chair, and the extensive work I've needed done, I'm a bit of a challenge. But the whole team is very patient and gentle. I appreciate their personal approach to me as an individual. It's the best dental care I've ever had.
I have been going to Dr. Kristy Fisher for over 18 years. She is the best dentist I have evergone to in over 60 years. So good that I now travel from FL once a year for check ups. The whole women owned practice is 5+ stars. After 18 years, Tiffany one of the best assistant is going to retire.I see the same faces every year. So wonderful.
I've been a patient here for 20 years. The Fishers and their staff have consistently been very professional, kind, skilled, and friendly. They seem to always have the latest and greatest dental tools and technology. They've been flexible on billing when needed, and very accommodating for the rare dental emergencies. Highly recommended!
I always have a great experience here! The staff are very friendly and work with you when you have questions or don’t particularly understand pricing or anything else. They also make sure you’re comfortable-it truly feels your comfort and safety are a priority to them! I love it here and go to them for all my dental needs :) -Savannah
I’m sure all the dentists at Family Dental Care are amazing, but we have been going to Dr. Erica Fisher forever. She is excellent and I look forward to seeing her and her highly professional staff. They REALLY care about their patients and it is a wonderful environment. It is above and beyond what you hope for in a dental practice.
The dentist Erica allows her dental hygienist to set crowns and do other major work. Too busy to truly do her job. Her staff is RUDE. I ordered whitening trays when I came back to pick them up I had no instruction on how to use them. They told me to google it. Very unprofessional and I have been a customer for over 4 years!
Family Dental Care has always been very accommodating to someone who is weary of the dentist, aka me. I had to go in for some work and was very nervous upon my arrival. They spoke to me in kind words, provided me with incredible information, and listened when I nervously/uncontrollably babbled about work. Thank you so much.
Such a great dental practice. The place feels like a day-spa, the staff is genuinely friendly, warm, and accommodating. I enjoyed a teeth-cleaning experience that was more gentle than any I’ve ever experienced elsewhere. I don’t usually do reviews, but Family Dental Care deserves the recognition it has earned and deserves.
I went in for a crown today with Dr. Bagley, Jessica and Holly. Everyone was top notch! It was impressive watching them work as a well oiled machine and all was so professional and very welcoming! They where all so friendly, happy, welcoming, comforting and very smiley. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!
I've been going to this practice for almost 3 yrs and they've always taken great care of me...even during my pregnancy. They try really hard to accommodate their patients who are running late (like me) and they are super gentle & patient with me because I hate going and am quite the wimp! Love these ladies!
Family Dental is the best! Dr. Erica Fisher does an amazing job with my cleanings and tooth repair. Just recently I had a dental implant on a missing tooth. She explained step by step what she was doing as she did it. I felt good about it. All the staff are amazing. They have the best dentists in KC!
Our family has been coming to Family Dental Care for the last ten years and love the whole team. We love the mix of quality of work, respect of our time, and the whole team's knowledge of traditional and cutting edge technology/methods. I've recommended them over the years and will continue to do so.
I have been going to Erica Fisher for more than 20 years. She has done a great job over that period and has built a wonderful business with competent and professional employees. I am very pleased with the service and would recommend Family Dental Care to anyone looking for dentistry services.
My wife and I have been coming to Family Dental for several years. They've always provided consistent care. When we've had issues come up, they've been able to help us handle them. The staff and office space have always been welcoming. Appreciate the practice that Dr Fisher(s) have built up.
Excellent experience as always. Went in for a bite guard and expected to get the usual scoop of goop that is crammed on my teeth. No goop!! They just used a computer to get my impression. This place is always on the cutting edge with the latest technology. The technician was also fantastic.
I am completely satisfied with all the treatments I have had at Family Dental Care (FDC) cleanings, fillings and crowns. The staff is attentive, professional and attentive. I have used FDC for several years and will continue to use their services. I strongly recommend using their services!
Dr. Kristy Fisher is probably one of the most caring and dear persons! The service that she provides is up and beyond. A special salute to Abby and Whitney for assisting her with such care and concern. I come an hour away for my dental appointments and will continue to use them.
I've had three previous dental offices who were more interested in my pocketbook than my dental health. I'm so glad our friends referred us to Family Dental! The staff is friendly and helpful, and they don't try to pressure me into getting work done that isn't really needed.
Oh my goodness! This is by most the best dentist I’ve ever been to. I had to get a crown on my 2 front teeth. Dr. Kristy gave me the teeth I was born to have. She made me feel so much more confident about myself.. thank you again for being so picky about your work. …
Family Dental Care took care of me and my teeth. I needed 2 root canals, an extraction, and 2 crowns. We developed a game plan and was able to get everything done in about 6 weeks time. Thanks to the staff for being so patient and caring towards me.
I have been a patient for numerous years and couldn’t imagine going anywhere else! They treat you like family and give you top tear quality dental care! The office is beautiful, the staff is friendly, and they’re really helpful navigating insurance!
The dentists and entire staff a Family Dental are very professional, and very informative. They take the time to answer questions and provide information. They have been our dental care facility for about seven years. Would not go anywhere else.
The Family Dental Care is the best dental care place I had in my life. Dr. Amy Bagley is incredible doctor, very professional, patient, quick , attentive and caring. I'm seeing her for almost 8 years and I would recommend her to everyone.
I have seen Dr. Erica Fisher my entire life she is an amazing dentist. Her staff is the best around, she truly cares about her patients. I now take my daughter to her and we would not trust our teeth with anyone else besides Dr. Fisher!
Would not recommend this practice. Most often will charge for an exam then refer to patient to someone else because they only perform limited procedures at this office or they cannot determine what the issue is. Fees are extremely high.
Can’t say enough good things about Dr Erica. She is always caring and compassionate. They have an in-house crown maker and get the whole crown process done in one appointment. Also love how quickly they handle emergency appointments.
Spent a lot of money for a crown. Went to a different dentist because I was having problems. He said that the crown was causing the problem and was not fitted correctly or placed correctly. Now I have to pay to get a new crown.
They do good work, but make sure to take a good amount of time out of your day if you need anything more than a cleaning. The last few times I've been, I've had to sit for 45+ minutes before they even started to work.
Ive been going to Dr Fisher for more than 8 years and have always been taken care of and super pleased with entire staff. These ladies know their business and have kept my teeth and gums in stellar shape.
We have been going here for years! Everyone is so kind and helpful. They are super helpful and patient with my daughter who is really fearful of the dentist. Thankful for everyone at Family Dental Care!
Caring and efficient. I came in with what I believe a big problem and Dr Beaugard has contacted oral surgeon, set up appointment for today. I was totally frightened when I walked in and left hopeful
At 26, I was super nervous about making my first trip to the dentist. But from the second I entered the waiting room, the calm atmosphere put me at ease. The staff are super friendly and thorough!
Family Dental Care is the best. I've been with them a long time and always get great care. The environment is lovely, the staff friendly and dental care has always met my needs. Tnanks guys!!
I’ve never had a dental experience like I had at Family Dental. The entire staff is so courteous. They were excellent with my children and during my dental care. So glad I found this place.
3.75 percent charge when using credit card. Same if use a debit card. Why, debit card charges no fee, but Family Dental Care does. I don't recommend this dental care office.
A great place to go for dental care. The staff are friendly, professional and are genuinely concerned for your care. I also appreciate the Christian music. Terry R.
I love this place!!! Best dental service I’ve had (and I’m old lol). They are super professional and nice.. I always look forward to my visits!! Thank you!!
The staff is wonderful! They are so gentle & helpful.. I am so glad we found this dentist office, we have been so happy with them . I highly recommend them!
Erica has been our family dentist for 25-30 years. Never even considered changing. The staff is fabulous and very friendly. Highly recommend them.
I have been. Coming to see Dr Fisher since she was across 64th street at the old location. Staff is always polite efficient and professional
Professional staff. Answered questions pin a clear, concise manner. Very patient oriented. Non- rushed atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Dental assistant did a terrible job! Hurt my lip and scrapped my gums. Called back and no apology. AVOID this dentists office!
Ive been a patient for 20+ years. Always very satisfied. Excellent work and only what is necessary.
Family Dental Care, is the best! The Fisher's are truly amazing along with the staff!
Finally getting good dental care with the staff and Dr. Erica at Family Dental Care
