I'm extremely grateful of this funeral home, from the moment i called them for the first time to arrange my father's funeral, until the moment he passed away a few weeks later, this funeral home helped me and worked with me to accommodate all our needs and requests, they have the most professional and compassionate funeral director there is, her name is Vanessa, and she's a huge asset to this business and the sweetest person to deal with in a moment of grief. While all other funeral homes in Miami are only worried about how they can take more and more of your money, these guys really help you get the best possible within your budget. I even had an issue with the cemetery, where they wanted a specific coffin with their specs, and the owner of the funeral home did a concession and help me get an upgraded coffin at no extra charge, any other business in Miami would have taken advantage of my situation and would have charged me a lot more, but Fernando was very compassionate and helped me solve the issue. This is a type of business that nobody ever wants to have to deal with because of its nature, but if you live in Miami, or even in Fort Myers Florida where i live, and want to have a very compassionate and professional staff to take care of your loved one funeral's service, there's no better option than Ferdinand's Funeral Home. Ferdinand Funeral Home is the best. My father passed away unexpectedly on Feb 29,2020 I live in Miami my father lived in Ocala. I wanted the viewing and cremation to be done in Miami where his family is. I called up a few placed and not only did they want to charge me $5000 more for the funeral and cremation but they did not show sympathy it was just business. I called Ferdinand and spoke to Jorge on Sunday one day after my father passed away. He immediately expressed sympathy and gave me a price it was $5000 less than the other funeral homes. I went that same Sunday Jorge explained precisely. He was so compassionate. Andrea also called me to see how everything was going and how I was feeling. When we had the funeral they were so detailed about everything. After one week Jorge called me to check how I was feeling and that if I needed anything else that they can help me with not to hesitate. They go above and beyond to make sure that your loved one gets the proper funeral arrangements this was the first time I had to arrange a funeral by myself but I didn't feel alone. Jorge, Andrea, Ashley and Christian were all so compassionate and professional. 2 weeks after the funeral I received a card of condolences and also if I need anything that they can help me with to contact them. From the moment I called, the service was wonderful. During a difficult time, the staff proved to be empathetic, courteous and patient. Knowing that my family was under emotional stress, they made sure to be on top of all details in a timely way and were very accessible when we had questions. The day of the service, they were helpful and involved yet unobtrusive of our family and friends who came to say goodbye to our mom. We felt taken care of. On the business side of things, they were quick to send a written proposal that included everything discussed over the phone. My husband just passed away and we had our niches already at Graceland. Called and asked them about where to start with the cremation and Ferdinand was one of the places recommended. Since this was the closest, I choose to do it there. In the beginning I wasn't very sure about the location, but as we were talking to George felt very comfortable with the place and the whole staff Mayte, Karen and Nathan, the Crematory director. I can't believe how much they helped and the ease they made me feel.. Our guests loved the place and coziness, and for me and my family couldn't have been any easier to deal with. Ferdinand Funerals and Crematory did a lovely job from the first meeting through the viewing and afterwards. This past January 2019, Ferdinand's picked my father up from the hospital. Since then, it was evident that I was in good hands. Compassionate. Accessible. Expert. Fernando Caballero presented me with all the best options to stay within budget. The whole experience played out seamlessly. Adding a Cuban flag to the right of the American flag was a very thoughtful touch. Fernando and his staff were amazing!! When we started Fernando was out of town but his staff Andrea, Jorge and Angela were super amazing. When he got back on Monday, he had been updated with all our needs and just the tenderness in which they treated us was impressive. They were with us through the service at the church and at the cementary. They honestly made this painfull process super easy. Everything was so fast.. My mom passed away at 5 am and at that time I had to look for a place in google at that time...Never been through something like this. It was my first time and we are talking about my Mother!!!. My husband found this place. I thank God because they made everything go so smooth. We lost our father on August 1st. We made prearrangements with Ferdinand Funeral homes. From the beginning of the process to the end they were there for us. We had no idea what we were doing, as this was our first funeral we had to arrange, and they were just so helpful. They helped with all the flower arrangements, they allowed us to say goodbye before the cremation, and they set up a military funeral honors. They even lent us a Bluetooth speaker. I would highly recommend them, if you ever find yourself in this unfortunate situation.

I could have given 5 stars because everything was absolutely perfect except for the death certificate that took so long. I paid the whole amount 2 days after he passed away but it took them 45 days to process the said certificate and we had a hard time calling back and forth between the 2 funeral homes involved.
