I would like to take some time to thank Mr Rafael and his amazing staff for everything he’s done for me in the past week. You see, my father passed away unexpectedly last week on Tuesday April 3rd after a stroke he had on Sunday , he was intubated for those two days in a hospital in a small town in Tennessee and i had nowhere to go and no one to call , I didn’t have time to cry for him or to feel the grieve of what was going on, I had to think quick , I had nowhere to go up there and no one to call, I had to prepare everything for my father before he passed and I had no idea where to start. The saddest thing is that people usually take advantage of you when you are in that situation , the make you feel like you need to buy things that sometimes are unnecessary , they take advantage of your mind not being able to think because of the pain of loosing a family member and that’s where they get you and make you sometimes loose enormous amounts of money. I being not only a daughter but a friend to my father and him always talking to me about what would happen in case he passed unexpectedly immediately remembered my dad mentioning Mr Rafael and his funeral home to other people he knew and bragging about his prices and to be honest with you I always thought he was kind of exaggerating a bit, after all funeral homes are usually barbarically expensive. I feel happy to say that in a moment that I had nowhere to go and no one to call I called National funeral homes and Mr Rafael and his staff guided me throughout the whole process , gave me amazing prices, discounts and treated me like family without even knowing me . They were honest and told me what I need it and what I really didn’t , they taught me how to save money and they made me feel so comfortable discussing all the alternatives I had at the time and with the amount of money me and my family had a the time since my dad only had paid for the cementery. I have to say that in this time of sorrow I will definitely be indebted to National Funeral homes for everything they did for me. Thank you because not only you gave me the best prices and attention in Miami , you guys made me feel like I was not alone. No one wants a family member to die, no one wants to go trough this but death is imminent to anyone who is still alive, it is better to plan but sometimes things happens. I highly reccomend National funeral homes and I say with sorrow on my heart from loosing a father but with an enormous amount of gratitude towards this funeral home that if I could give them a 100 star rating I would .

DO NOT trust this place. The owner (Dayana) is an unresponsive, manipulative, unprofessional and irresponsible person. She purposefully delayed the process of transferring my mothers body from Texas to Cuba. My mother could have arrived before March but she purposefully delayed it until the 7th of March. She kept saying the original funeral home that had my mother's body in Texas didn't send the necessary papers yet, for the transfer to Miami even though it was done. When I finally got all the documents, I saw that Cuba had signed the permit for the casket to enter the country on the 25th/26th. She could have arrived earlier than expected. Do not even bother contacting the funeral or her personal phone itself, both of those numbers will hang up on you, not even pick up or will put you on hold to waste your time. She treats the process as if it was a joke, instead of trying to finish the process as soon as she can, she purposefully delays it and will leave you anxious. She doesn't even bother to give you a simple update on the process. She says it will take a few days and next thing you know it will take weeks. She even neglected the casket, the front compartment was missing a vital part and could not close. She is a pure liar, even her employees says she stirs up trouble for nothing and are aware of her irresponsibility. How can you be so cruel? Making a process more harder than it is knowing families are still grieving and suffering. Do not even bother on choosing this place it will only add more stress and agony on to you.

Thank you Dayana, Thank you National Funeral Homes. Sad, very sad to have to use your services, but grateful for the professionalism and dedication towards family members and mourners. In my case in particular, THANK YOU Dayana for achieving that in these difficult moments in the middle of the closing of Borders, you have managed that my nephew Diuver Maykel Recino Marquez is being veiled and is surrounded by his mother, sisters, family and friends in this his last stop on earth before being received by our Lord. Thank you a thousand times Dayana for having achieved it. It's been hard to find a funeral home that transports a loved one from US to their home country. i called numerous businesses and i landed on this one. My first impression was that they had the best interest to help us and were sincere with our situation. Sadly as time progressed a lot of the "process" on how they transport a family member was never directly explained to us. I have no need to insult or say bad words to get my point across, at first everyone seemed helpful and genuine as time passed and it became over 30 days (as promised) they became irritated that we would call constantly and they went to the extreme to say "well if you want we will give you your money back and you can get someone else to do the job", thats just bad business and i don't think anyone who is mourning a loved one should be told to find someone else. Dayana, Peter, Anna and Hilbert have been the people i dealt with personally and it's a shame things escalated the way they did, I hope to God i never have to use their services again because they caused a lot of pain to me and my family.

My brother in law took his life and my husband and I were put in charge of the funeral. The first meeting there we meet Dayana (the owner) she gave us prices and we never saw her again. From that date forward we were "handled" by Jenny. She was and is amazing, super respectful and accommodating, She took our calls straight to her cellphone and even after hours and text messages. The lady who did his make-up stayed late to make sure everything was okay and even helped fix it when there was a little too much in certain places. The flowers they provided were pretty but when you got close to the casket you could tell they were pretty wilted. The older gentlemen (also an owner or president) gave us a free guest book the lady who was left behind to help us was very friendly and made us coffee twice. The shipping of the body to his home country was handled very professionally and with only a 24 hr delay that had nothing to do with the funeral home. The only thing I found a tad tacky was the letter I received in the mail a month later asking me to review them.

If I could give zero stars I would please if you want to be treated with respect and with patience in this moment in time do not go here there is a million other funeral homes that will honor your family member and speak to you with respect this place is a disaster they are a mess they are so disrespectful and they are mean in this moment of time the director is rude and doesn’t care about anyone I paid for my grandmother to be cremated and for 3 weeks they said they were backed up I called 2 weeks into it they said she’ll be ready next week never saying anything was missing and now they said we were missing a document which is why she wasn’t ready that they failed to mention in my previous call stay away from this place Que lugar tan decepcionante la directora es una grocera maleducada que no tiene paciencia ni amor para la gente que pierde seres queridos son desorganizados y maleducados vayan a otro lugar porque este lugar no se merece nada

I sent flowers to my grandma Maria, they gave them to the wrong person. I called the flower shop and they sent me the signature of the funeral home associate who received the flowers. The funeral home says the flowers were addressed to the other person but the receipt clearly states my grandma’s name. I understand they made a mistake. When I first called the funeral home the person who answered admitted they made a mistake. But then, the owner called me to tell me they didn’t make any mistake and it was the flower shop’s fault and the flowers were gone. She treated me horribly and 0 compassionate with me being so far and unable to say goodbye to my grandma. To think I was the one who directed my uncle to this funeral home. SHE MADE ME FEEL AWFUL and refused to send me a copy of her receipt, because if she did it would clearly say my grandma’s name. I attach the receipt from flower shop

When you lose someone close to you, you know you are required to deal with a funeral home. The people in charge should have some sort of respect for your loss. This place did not. My sister lost her baby in July. For 4months they did nothing. Not pick up the phone to let her know the status of her child. Not advise of the steps needed to be taken to have her son's remains cremated. She had to constantly call to get updates and even help move along the process while grieving and healing physically from losing her newborn. It took four months for her to receive her son's ashes and when trying to explain to the funeral director how he should simply Apologize for dropping the ball, he chose to leave and not take any responsibilities for his and his team's lack to work ethics or even human decency for a grieving mother. This place is the worse and will never be used again by my family.

AVOID!! currently im dealing with this liers. from the beginning it has been lies and bad customer services. Unfortunately i did not think it was a big deal until i sign all the papers and authorize money. Its been 2 weeks and there still waiting on paper work. Originally they said it only takes 2 or 4 days to get the body ready and send it to the country i wanted. i went to Nicaragua for over a week waiting for the body and now im back and the body is still in Miami. Please dont waste your time or money on this Funeral, like the spanish saying says "whats cheap is expensive at the end". I have called them asking about the status because they dont even bother telling you what the status of the body is. Every time i call they dont let me speak, they dont have any manners, sadly the receptionist it seems is more educated than the actual owner and people in charge of the body.

I can't say enough great things about National Funeral Homes. Dayana Sosa and her wonderful staff worked with me every step of the way during my mother's funeral. They made sure all our wishes were met and were just phenomenal at comforting my family and I and giving us peace of mind in knowing every last detail was taken care of by them. Their price was much more affordable and reasonable than the other funeral homes I researched. They provided coffee, even had a lovely and friendly lady with tray every so often offering us all cuban coffee throughout the evening. They provided snacks and drinks for our family and friends. Mary, fixed my mother beautifully exactly as I requested and beyond what I could even imagine. They are compassionate, efficient and affordable...what else can we ask for during such a difficult time. I highly recommend National Funeral Homes.

I had the displeasure of visiting here. Dayanna who is the "owner" was observed belittling her staff and was extremely rude. They are scammers and rip offs. They will tell you anything you want to hear just to get your business. The service they give is subpar. When I looked into the company they have been sued multiple times. They cremated the wrong person who should have been buried and his ashes went to the wrong family and the poor guy was to be buried. When the family asked for the ashes back they were told the family who received them during the accidental cremation had scattered the ashes at sea :( How does a funeral home cremate the wrong person and blame the family? GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Look into this funeral home before you use them!!! I'm glad I did because I was going to use them to ship my brother to Cuba for a funeral home.

Making funeral arrangements for a loved one can be very difficult. I recently had to make arrangements for the passing of my father. I went to a big and supposedly "reputable" funeral home in Miami and was treated horribly. I was fortunate to have been recommended to National Funeral Homes. As soon as we walked in we fell confortable. They were friendly and very helpful. They assisted us with making all the arrangements to move from one cemetary to another. Something we had been told by the other funeral home we could not do. Not only did they make it happen but they went with us to the cemetery and stayed with us the entire time. Really amazing and caring people. Rafael and Dayana you guys made a very difficult event in our life's so much easier. We will for ever be greatful. Thank you. Estela Carmona

We should be allowed to give this place zero stars! Please go anywhere but here. These people take advantage of you in your most vulnerable time. They have no compassion whatsoever for what your are going through. If you for some reason end up there make sure you read every last word of that contract before you sign. They will try to rush you through it and you will regret it later. If you get a quote, make sure you get it in writing because of you don't, nothing of what they quoted you will actually be included and everything will end up being extra. Watch out for the 4% they want to charge you additional just for paying with a credit card. Absolutely horrible experience and The owner, Dayana is as rude and nasty as they come!! Save yourself the heartache and like I said before go anywhere else!

This funeral home is by far the worst in Miami and in South Florida!!! Do not use them at all! They did not clean or setup my relative’s body, you can see the fluid leaking from the casket where in the middle of funeral they had to clean up the fluid several times in front of the entire family. This is disrespectful! They gave away one of the flower arrangements without the family’s consent. After a while, during my relative’s funeral the odor of blood and chemicals consumed the room wherein again they had to come in and clean it up again. Never use this place!!! Our family regrets using this funeral home because not only were they unprofessional, they also failed to provide the service in which we paid for. This is disgusting! If you love your relative please do not use this place at all!!!!!

Dissatisfied and frustrated ! Very very unethical people to work with . Ended up boosting prices , embalming process wasn't done appropriately (leaking of the remains), extremely rude (denied to speak to us and left us in front of his office ) . Rafael is not the person you want to work with while grieving the lost of love one . He claimed to be the funeral director and when cops were called we found out he is the husband of the funeral president. (Retired few years ago) maybe there's a reason why he retired . If you work with these people make sure you pay close attention to what is included with how much you pay . They put us through what you cannot imagine. Very torn with the horrendous service and work ethic my family and I experienced here.just sad

My mother passed about two weeks ago and we had the viewing at Funeraria Auxiliadora Nacional. The place is really nice. the was price was very good. It was $3,500 for viewing and shipping of the body to Dominican Republic. The only thing I did not like is that they viewed two other bodies at the same time. Which I probably would not mind but the people next door were doing Santeria rituals with drums very laud and people were screaming. We were having a service with a Pastor from a Christian church. It was hard to even hear what Pastor was saying. I respect everyone's religion but the visitors and I were very uncomfortable. I suggest to have a viewing where is only your relative per night or day. this is the third funeral I arrange.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. But for the sake of the complaint I had to leave 1 star, which is more than they deserve. My relative has been awaiting cremation for more than 45 days in this place and they have no mercy. The customer service at this funeral home is just awful. Dayana, who identified herself as "the owner", is simply unprofessional and despicable. They are listless with the feelings of family members left behind. They have caused us emotional stress, because because of them we have not been able to close this painful chapter. They are cruel and unfortunately exceedingly incompetent. I really hope NOBODY will use your service again. We only have the WORST opinion of them! Simply horrible.

When my grandmother Carmen passed away March 1, 2018 her kids didn’t have money to pay for the funeral expenses. I am a 20 year old college student who went straight to national funeral homes to seek a reasonable price for my grandmother ceremony. Luckily, Diana was able to help me make this posible. i was able to pay my grandmother cremation and a two hour ceremony on my own. Diana tried her best to find me the cheapest niche and although she couldn’t find it she tried anyways especially with my budget and a gofunme account i made for my grandmother and gave me a small urn as a gift ❤️ Since they couldn’t do much about the niche I’m extremely grateful for what they have done for me and my grandmother

My experience here was far beyond my expectations! Dayana, was available 24hrs. At the time if passing she promptly made arrangements for my mother who was gently transported within 1hr of her passing. We were asked to bring clothes that she liked and even a personal belonging or memento we wanted her to have. On the day of the burial we were given time to say out last goodbye! My mother was dressed beautifully and her hair was done and her color made us feel she was sleeping in peace! She was transported to the cemetery right on time with beautiful flowers and a pastor also provided by the National provided a beautiful speech about her life and gods purpose. I recommend them 100%

No words can express the gratitude that my family and I have for the National Funeral Home family. When my mother passed, it was such a difficult time, as is for most. I live in California and trying to find a good funeral home can be challenging. Luckily, I stumbled upon National Funeral Home. Only with a phone conversation, I knew this was the one. The staff and owner Dayana were nothing but amazing. A month and a half later, my family and I are in need of their service once again. My father passed less than 2 months away from my mother. When my grandma passed away on December 24, I didnt know where to go. Then, I went to National Funeral Homes and they helped me with the funeral and to send my grandma to Cuba, we didn't have all the money and they helped us out. Thanks Dayana and Yeni for everything, God bless you always. I do recommend them and if you see a negative comment, people will always complaint about anything but you can count with Dayana and National Funeral homes, they are great, professional, excellent service, fast, reliable and have a big heart. The female owner at this funeral home has a big picture of herself on a stand at the entrance advertising 100% satisfaction for the services. There were many people for the viewing of my relative; including family and friends seating by the main entrance. I flipped her photo to face the wall and placed a portrait of my deceased relative in place. But then she asked her employee to remove it and placed hers back. I personally find the action to be rude and disrespectful for family and friends. Whoever the owner is; l like to remind you that we rented your place for such purposes. Train yourself on the meaning of satisfaction and customer service.

This place is awful and a scam!!!! At first, they seemed nice but Dianna is nothing but a rude person, and I had the worst experience soon after!!! She promised to get my mothers fingerprints once i came back from my mothers country and she would order the necklace for me. Not once did she say otherwise and kept avoiding me until I showed up. Then she comes up with a story stating that I had to pay before she was shipped without her even saying so!!!! and now I'm the one who is suffering the consequence of not having my mothers fingerprints! She is unreliable and an awful person u can't keep peoples hope up and shatter them with no regards!!!!

My family and I lost my mother unexpectedly and had to make funeral and burial arrangements in a timely manner. As one can imagine, this situation can be stressful if it is not pre arranged. The team at national funeral homes not only gave me the best price for both funeral and burial (literally half of what the other places were charging) but they were able to accommodate our requests and needs in a timely manner. We were able to do the funeral and burial within the same week due to our combined efforts. Losing a loved one is very painful but thanks to Dayana and Rafael I was able to honor my mother's final wishes. I highly recommend them

This Funeral Home is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! My mother passed away on May 11,2018 and we brought her here . The attentiveness and the care that they gave us was super appreciated. You guys have no Idea. Please don't believe this hating reviews that these competition put again them. The owner Dayana sosa was so understanding and have such a great heart. She is super sweet and works so hard to please us all. They made everything so easy for my family. I will NEVER regret bringing my mother here. This was God plan. For us to meet such great people. This is the worst place to arrange a funeral. Very unresponsible people shor of staff. Dayana is the owner and she is very disrespectful snd unproffesional. The hospital where my sin passed away donste for the funeral services the msy paid un full and told me they will give my money back once they receive the donation. They received it and never gave my money back . The owner is never available . They just have one person in the office that does everything maricela the other person is just a decoration because she doesn't know anything. Please if you do not want to lose your money never go to this place. Horrible

Very torn to have to give this place only two stars. The owner Peter was really amazing, if I only dealt with him or Carla I would have been very pleased. They definitely have what it takes for this type of business. Unfortunately I dealt with Estrella, this woman has to be the nastiest human being I have ever come across. She was rude, not compassionate, and very ghetto. I really think this place is getting a bad name because of this individual. she had me in tears and could care less for being rude. When I told her she was being nasty she told me that's her attitude and was not going to change.

Planning the funeral of a loved one can be a very difficult and painful experience. When my grandfather Pablo recently passed away, our family turned to National Funeral Homes for guidance. From our first meeting, the staff at National Funeral Homes treated our family with utmost care and professionalism. We will be forever grateful to Dayana (the owner/manager) and all of her wonderful staff members for guiding us with all of the preparations, for listening to our concerns and answering all our questions, and for making us and our family feel at home. Lock of responsibility and follow up from National Funeral Homes. A family member was transferred to Cuba. I personally spoke with Nurka. One of the employees to inform her to make sure the casket met the Sementery requirements in regards of the casket coming from the United States. This employee informed me that all the caskets they had met the Cuba requirements. Sadly to find that the casket was to big. Our family members had to find a new casket and move the body of the cadaver to the new casket. I don’t recommend anyone using this National Funeral Home services.

Yenny was very helpful and sympathetic during this difficult time for my family. She was patient and explained every process and service available and prices for each. She understood we had a short time frame to do everything I worked with us to get everything resolved and ready by the next day. Robert the accountant as well made sure to explain the summary of charges and what each one entailed. I'm very happy with the service each one provided and would definitely recommend them to anyone who finds themselves in a similar situation.

Me and my wife went shopping around for funeral homes and this funeral home was by far the best pricing and the customer service was excellent. Yenni Aguirre was our representative and took care of us from the beginning to the end. I give them 5 stars. We had the funeral 2 days after and they provided coffee, soda, water , and little cakes for a snack. No place does this at no charge . Thank you Nation funeral for making this unfortunate experience great and the cleanliness of the place ease sparking clean. Thank you again.

My only regret is that 5 Stars is as high as it goes. Peter, Anna and the others involved made a really bad event much easier. They arranged the entire event. Peter would call and keep me informed on how and when things would happen. From Taylor, AZ to Warsaw, Poland and everywhere in between. THANK YOU, THANK YOU,THANK YOU!! There were many errors we had to correct they did not spell any names correctly and spelled remembered as remenbered and we had to go back several times for them to correct our work notes, also they wrote my mother was a mr instead of ms. All of this while we are grieving our mothers death we shouldn’t have to deal with any of these things, all of this should have been correct the first time they are supposed to be professionals and we had a terrible experience I don’t not recommend going here.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. This is the worst service I have ever received, especially when going through one of the hardest times of our lives. My family and I lost my aunt and we had arranged to have the funeral with them and they lied to us about prices and treated us horribly. These people are not human, they have no heart or compassion for what people are going through. This place is a fraud. Please don’t use them. They need to be shut down.

My name is jose perez my brother passed way on the 12 of May 2021 I called this funeral Home and talked to Peter, they came from Miami to Orlando in a timely manner handle 90 of paper works for us even let us see him before being shipped out to the dominican republic on time and everything in order. The price was very good. Thank you guys so much to everyone including the lady who dressed my brother i will in life be grateful for all the attention thank you dyana.

National is the worst funeral home in Miami, the employees and so call owner have no sympathy for hurting people that lost a a family member. Thy over charge for their casket - i said that will call backs to see we were going with them after I call back they will automatically hang up my call even when I call from different number . There is no empathy for mourning families, we understand this is business on their side but the employees need to understand the hard moments these mourning families are going through. We paid on a certain time (midnight) and 30 minutes before they started cleaning up, and 15 minutes before our time arranged they turned the lights on. Nothing I was told at the beginning was true, lack of communication between them.

This place is a SCAM. They tie you in with 'cheap' prices and once they have your deposit they try to raise the prices for every little thing, even though you had both agreed to a price before. They take advantage of the pain people are going through and treat their customers terribly, this place should be shut down. Read reviews in other sites before deciding to go here and you will see how many people agree.

First class service, compassion and care. they eased the burden of paperwork from that harsh time. In such a tragic moment in my life they did everything so that I could mourn and be with my family, I cant thank all of them enough!

Because of the amazing staff and affordability of national funeral homes, we were able to give my uncle a proper burial and viewing. We were certain that we were going to have to cremate him. Because this was all so sudden, we were not prepared financially or emotionally. National funeral homes walked us through everything. Recently, at my friend's mom's funeral, Rafael, who I guess is on staff at National, conducted the service. He did not know my friend's mother, so it was very weird. The family had requested a priest, but I guess Rafael thought he would do a better job, so they ended up paying him to do the service. Seems like he took advantage of their grief to just create the funeral he felt they should experience.

The staff are ridiculously nice and at your service, they brought us coffee, water , served Bread & Cookies, they provided with more than we expected and they’re an amazing company. Did you know that if you order flowers from any one else other than this funeral home they charge the delivering florist 10.00 to come and deliver it to the funeral home? This means that if your aunt is sending flowers to your mother at the funeral, the florist has to pay them 10.00 to come in to deliver it. This is really awful for this funeral home to do.

We just had my aunt’s funeral today. She’s been in the hospital with no visitation. We were told we could come say our final good byes at 9 am. They were NOT ready till 9:30 and in the end we couldn’t even go in. This place is a joke. I would never recommend this funeral home to any one.
