Here is my very honest, unbiased review. I tried FIT Meals once before because I was looking for an easy way to healthy eating and I loved the idea of having my meals already made and the nutrition facts already labeled. When I tried my first meal, all I could taste was salt. It was so unappetizing that I trashed the other meals because I didn’t even want to try it ($60 down the drain). A week went by and I saw that they posted a menu that looked like it had some good options so I decided to give it another go because I felt like I didn’t give them a fair enough chance the first time. So I got 4 different meals again and decided that this time I’d REALLY try to like it since I was still in love with the idea of healthy eating without the cooking. It is fair to say that all of the meals were extremely bland and not to mention that they just do not look appetizing to the eye. The meals are so unflavorful that I can’t force myself to eat more than 1/3 until I have to throw out the rest. Not to mention that some of my chicken has a rubbery texture. On the bright side, I guess it will help you lose weight because I’m not eating more than a third of my meals, but I’m sure that wasn’t the way they meant for it to be. For me, it is very important to have good tasting food while eating healthy or else I will get bored very quick and start to take up some unhealthy eating habits. I would not recommend this meal prepping place to anyone who is just starting their health journey or someone who plans on having these meals all the time because you will get bored of the very bland, unappealing food before you can even get to your third meal. I gave them two starts because the prices are good and because of the convenience even though that doesn’t really matter when the product is not good. I see they have a lot of outstanding reviews and I can’t help but to assume that these are mostly biased reviews from their ambassadors (they have a lot), people they know, and/or from people who were offered some kind of coupon for a good review. I can’t imagine why else food this awful tasting would have so many outstanding reviews. I’m not a very picky person by any means and I definitely don’t take the time to leave reviews but I thought it’d be helpful for me to post my unbiased review for future customers.

My wife and I were looking for a meal prep place locally and were very lucky to find Fit Meals Prep right off the bat. They have been very accommodating with our delivery even though we are in Northern St. Johns County and the staff has always been very easy to work with. We subscribe to the weekly subscription and it has been very useful. I was looking for something to have for lunches during the week and my wife was looking for something to have for dinners during the week. This was perfect. We usually do 10 of the entrees and a few snacks and/or breakfast items here and there. The meals are very delicious. We do the weight loss meals and the only thing I would say is that I am not a big fan of the cauliflower rice. I eat it and I know it is better for me than the regular rice when trying to lose weight but still not a big fan. Everything else has been great. Since starting the subscription about 2 months ago I have lost 10 lbs. Just by substituting these meals for the bad lunches I was getting. I would like to know though how long the meals are good for after arriving. Will they stay fresh to eat for a week or two weeks after delivery?? Sometimes we do not eat every meal for one reason or another but are not sure how long they last. One other thing would be if the date of the week was on the label. That would help us when we have multiple items in the fridge from multiple weeks. For now I mark them with a Sharpie when they arrive. Overall we are very glad we have found Fit Meals Prep and look forward to the new and exciting menu each week. Thank you!

--- Update 10/7/2021 --- I just wanted to add a bit to my previous review. Fit Meals Prep continues to impress. I had to take a seven month "vacation" from eating (thanks a bunch, cancer!) but have since returned to having my meals put together by the folks here. All I can say is that they've just gotten better. The portions are fantastic and everything is very flavorful. I'm using their Paleo "maintain" program which keeps all my doctors happy, but they have other diet plans available. Check them out, you'll be very happy that you did! ----- original review ----- Fit Meals Prep has made dietary meal prep local, convenient and - most importantly - delicious. Each week they release a new menu with fantastic dishes appropriately balanced with calories, protein and carbs to support your personal goals. Living alone, it's difficult to work up the energy to prepare a meal for one - especially a meal that's well thought-out. Sure, I can order from one of the restaurant delivery services but I'm not going to receive food that isn't anywhere near as healthy as Fit Meals Prep and it's probably going to arrive cold, anyway. The best part...once I did the math, a week of Fit Meals Prep meals is less expensive than a week of meals ordered out of the delivery services. The people at Fit Meals Prep are friendly and helpful if you need help getting started, and are always willing to answer any questions you might have. Check out Fit Meals Prep - the only disappoint you'll have is that you didn't try them out sooner!

Update: I am disappointed in the lack of communication with the new website. No information was given on the changes we needed to be aware of such as subscriptions needing to be completed by Tuesday instead of Wednesday. Also, our food used to be delivered so we would have our food on Monday but now it gets delivered on Monday. There was no communication regarding that change either. And now, when I resumed my subscription from being out of town, I’m getting my food tomorrow instead of yesterday because “that’s what is in the system” even though I always get my food on Monday. I’m here for the convenience and variety but these changes and the lack of an FYI are getting annoying. I have tried several meal prep services and FitMeals is the best! The meals are delicious! They change the menu weekly which I love since I get bored easily. Any time I have had any questions, they have also been quick to answer and help. I save so much time not having to meal prep and I love having something to eat right away after a long day. You should give FitMeals a try if you are looking for healthy and quick meals that taste great!

My wife and I have tried a lot of different meal options. Fit Meals by far is one of the best out there locally. The food is always fresh and never frozen. They have great taste and the menu changes very week. The online process to select you subscription and meals is very user friendly. We get ours delivered to out door. We then leave the bag from last week outside. We get a text status update when the meals will be delivered and then a confirmation with a pic of the meals at your door once they are delivered. The meals are easy to hit up and portion sized and balanced. Many of the other meal prep companies add a ton of sodium to their food. Fit Meals Prep has the least amount of sodium we have seen. They also offer some nice options for protein bars. They are also competitively priced as well as the delivery fee. Check them out. We do 10 meals a week and we eat them for lunch.

I started ordering from FitMeals in 2018 - my initial goal was to eat healthy and lose weight. Not only did I accomplish that, I fell in love with the convenience of having healthy pre-made meals every week. About a year ago my job moved me away from Jacksonville. One of the things I instantly missed was FitMeals. I tried a few meal prep companies in my new home but was not as happy with them as I was with Fit Meals. The prices were higher, the variety was lower, and the flavor didn't come close to FitMeals. I was so excited when they started shipping their meals all over Florida this year! I have resumed ordering from them weekly again and look forward to my Tuesday Deliveries. If you're considering ordering from FitMeals Prep, I strongly recommend it.

This is THE best meal prep service I have ever had. The food is absolutely delicious! Every meal has so much flavor and tastes so fresh. I walked into this store front a few days ago to check out the menu and try out a few meals before committing to a weekly order/delivery service. The owner was really nice, I really liked him as a person. I had my baby with me so he packaged up all my meals and took them out to my car for me, really sweet of him. I got 10 breakfast meals and 11-12 lunch meals for my husband and I - There is not a single meal we didn’t love! This meal prep made my entire week much easier and the satisfaction of knowing we’re eating healthy takes a large part in that as well. We are loyal customers now!! Thanks!

Fit Meals prep is awesome! The meals are so flavorful and offer a variety of proteins, grains, and veggies. Each week there is a new menu where you can choose which meals you want (or don’t want). Love one meal, get three of them! Want to try a variety of all the meals, get one of each. I have tried other meal services and this is by far the most flavorful with the best variety of choices. I used these meals right after I had my son and my husband was away (military), it helped me eat healthy while taking care of a newborn. Hello (almost) pre-baby weight :) My entire family now has a weekly order with FitMeals! On the fence? Give it a try one week, you’ll be hooked I promise!

I have tried other meal delivery services. They started off nice and then they got kind of shabby. Then my friends Fran and Cathleen told me about Fitmeals. When it showed up I thought it looked a little small. But wow! It filled me up. The taste was amazing and plenty of protein. The price is perfect. I am very satisfied. Finally found something I like and I don’t have to spend all this time cooking and looking through the box for the missing ingredients or having some thing that looks like cat food after I microwave it. This is only my second week trying out Fit Meals, but I must say, I am impressed. Their weekly menu has so many different options to choose from and the food actually tastes good! I work long hours and am pretty busy, so I can’t always prepare healthy and delicious meals for myself. Every week, I look forward to choosing my meals. I just placed my third order and I’ll eventually sign up for a weekly subscription. Their customer service is also amazing. I really appreciate them going above and beyond to making sure their customers are satisfied. I recommend trying them out!

The food is so so. The best meals are the ones with ground turkey. The chicken meals are extremely dry and flavorless. I skipped multiple weeks of meals because of this. Their customer service is also lacking because I was hung up on after being lied to about my food being available for pickup. She told me she could do nothing for me and that I would need to call the CEO. I drove at least 10 miles on my break to pick it up and it was thrown away. There are tons of other BETTER meal prep services available in Jacksonville and I’m glad I’m done with this bare minimum mess.

I've ordered from the company a couple of different times and have had some pretty negative experiences. Most recent one has to do with my girlfriend. She ordered food to be delivered which the company boast that they serve all of Florida and that they deliver by Tuesdays. We live in Fort Myers and have waited all day for this delivery and it has not come. I try not to leave bad reviews especially for a Vet owned company but when you've had numerous negative experiences. This is unprofessional and unacceptable of any company. We will be reaching out for a full refund!

Love this company! I started using their service while I lived in Jax in mid 2019 for a few months and then happily continued to order these meals after moving back to Gainesville. They showed up slightly thawed out on my door step but I was quick to throw them in the freezer to stay good for 2 weeks or more! Saves me so much time each week and really forces me to cut down on cheat meals knowing that I have perfectly good pre-made meal waiting for me already. I love to support small businesses and they continue to get better and better with their meal options!

I’ve been using this meal prep service for close to 3 months now and it definitely comes in handy when I’m on the run or just need something quick after working out. I am a pretty picky eater when it comes to chicken so that’s the only meal I tend to stay away from. However; everything is delicious. I have a hard time gaining weight so I’ve stayed on the bulk plan and I will say; I am fully Satisfied after eating the whole meal. I even have my meals delivered on Sundays! Makes my life a million times easier! Highly recommend.

Started doing Fit Meals Prep because of the convenience of not having to make lunch everyday for work. Fresh, delicious food with new choices every week. Now, instead of eating fast food and that leaves me starving by 3PM and binge eating every snack I can find, I'm eating healthy, filling food that gets me through the day until dinner. Best part is the price is right and I end up spending less than I would eating out for lunch or even buying food at the supermarket that goes bad in the fridge half the time. 100% recommend.

Being a nurse working overtime and in grad school these meals have saved my life! I order my meals every week. You can’t beat the value and quality anywhere. I have lost 20 lbs in about a month. It’s always fresh and top quality. I have a problem eating tomatoes from anywhere else but I can eat tomatoes from here. I love tomatoes and haven’t been able to eat them in a long time without getting sick I accidentally ate one with my first salad and it digested properly and did not leave me with extreme heartburn. FitMealsPrep really helped me lose weight! I loved that I could plug the macros easily into MyFitnessPal and I didn’t have to worry about weighing or measuring my food. I stopped my subscription to try and save money and cook more and it turns out I don’t do either of these. I’m going back to FitMeals for the price and convenience! I have been using Fitmeals on and off as needed for 2 years. Their food is great. Price is very reasonable. You can pick up or they deliver. A few other things I really like: -Choose meal types -paleo or weight loss or bulk -No weekly subscription required, so I can order what I need each week. -Can choose my menu items. If I don’t eat fish, I don’t have to email or call each week because I select what I want. -Breakfast and snack options

Most of the meals are pretty tasty. The portions are good. The meals are convenient.. Delivery was on time, but there is a fee. We decided to use pick up option after the first delivery. Last weeks beef, sweet potato and green beans had way too much pepper. My husband tolerated it, mine went in the trash. I complained once before and was told that the seasoning was being changed. Hopefully next weeks meals will have less pepper.

When Covid happened I turned to making lots of Meal-prep recipes on my own. All of my meals started getting very redundant and boring. I decided to give Fit Meals Prep a try and really enjoy it! Most of their meals are super awesome (they can't all be perfect) but having some extra variety in my week is much appreciated. Now that Covid is waning, I'll still probably stick with Fit Meals Prep as my go-to meal variety options

I’ve been to a couple different meal preps in the city , and this is by far the best . The vacuum seal packaging and variety is definitely top tier ! They have a diet path for everyone and the The food most the time is delicious; marinated and well seasoned . I can’t say enough about meal prep. It’s an investment , but it’s a game changer to just help fill the gaps when life gets hectic .

Unlike other meal prep companies i tried, the food comes vacuum sealed, so it always tastes fresh. The menu always changes so you never get bored either. I know some people think its a little more expensive than a few others but for pennies on the dollar you get fresher more gourmet options. Duran takes great pride in what he does and the staff continues to provide the best quality!

My husband and I both love Fit Meals. If you are on a diet or have certain restrictions they have different plans to accommodate you from weight loss, paleo, maintain, keto and vegetarian options. Been with them about 4 weeks and I haven't had a single complaint. Once I figured the ins and outs the ordering and pickup was easy. I am lazy when it come to preparing meals so I end up missing meals and then binging on junk. I enjoy this service because the food is tasty and there's variety. Meals were great. I ordered the "Maintain Pro Plan" and it came with 10 wraps and 10 regular meals. Delivery was as expected, one of the employees showed up at my door and had all my food. All of the food was pre-cooked, so all I had to do was store it in the fridge and microwave it when it was time to eat. Can't wait to see what they have on next weeks menu!

They have tasty macro friendly food (and I’m training for physique Shows so their macros say something). The best part is their affordability. Typically other companies around 225-300 weekly. The majority of the meals taste great. You would never think of it as "health food" most of the time. Customer service has always been prompt and accommodating. Fit Meals is a great option for those who don’t like to meal prep. The menu changes weekly so there is a lot of variety. I haven’t found one I dislike yet. They also offer different options depending on your diet. Customer service is excellent. They are always quick to respond to questions when needed.

I’ve been using FitMeals since 2016 and it was always well portioned with a healthy balance but within the past year the flavor/seasoning has improved significantly as well as the moisture. I really like the meals!. I order every week. Every week they have different menu. Love the taste and is a good portion size for me! Deliver on time. Very good communication If you have questions they always respond fast, they are very helpful and very nice.

The shrimp and grits was sooo yummy. I couldn't believe it was all healthy. Grits substituted with cauli rice. I ate it so quick I was sad there wasn't more. This is definitely my new fave healthy dish and meal prep services .
