Sales over service. I contacted this dealership about a truck they currently have and the beginning experience was good. I was sent extra pictures that I requested and had good communication with the sales agent Raymond. I set up an inspection to be done on the truck as I live cross country, and pending inspection approval was going to work out a price buy the vehicle (which the sales agent and I discussed.) DURING THE MIDDLE OF MY INSPECTION the following day, my sales agent came to my inspector and said the truck was sold to a different buyer. I found this out not through the sales agent, but from my inspector and when I followed up with the sales agent (yes, I had to call, not the other way around) I was informed a deposit had been placed and a check was in the mail for the vehicle. Pretty disappointing I was not even considered to have the chance to put a down payment to secure the vehicle for 24 hours. It gets better. The following day I receive a message that the truck is back on the market if I'd like to buy it (how, I'm not sure because wasn't the check already in the mail?) So I made a reasonable offer within 6% of their asking price, with approved financing, and requested that, to make up for the errors and inconsideration of the previous day, they handle the shipping on their end as I live in Florida, not Washington. I made the offer, willing to do small amount of negotiation, and heard NOTHING back for several hours, to which I followed up AGAIN and the last response I received was "Not sure". Now, almost 24 hours after my original offer, still not a word, not even a counter offer. Pretty disrespectful. This particular vehicle was great, exactly what I was looking for, however because of the absolutely terrible service provided I will take my hard earned money somewhere else. Had there been any kind of consideration or communication made during the transactional side of this interaction, then this review would have been of praise, not an unfortunate event. I cannot honestly give any sort of recommendation to this establishment. Please do your due diligence if you decide to do business with them.

I purchased a 2010 Toyota Highlander Hybrid in October 2017 from them, I have been nothing but impressed by the quality of the car. I have used the car for a road trip across the USA (22,000 miles later) and the car has had zero issues other than normal scheduled maintenance. What was the experience buying the car. The shop is not fancy, but lets be honest you aren't there for the shop. When me and my partner turned up to buy the car, the dealer was up front with me about the car and when I asked about how it ran, he said you are from out of town, why not take it for a spin for the day and see for yourself. Here are the keys (of course they took copies of our passports) take it out for as long as you like, see if you like it, just return it by end of day. After a couple of hours checking out the car driving it around, checking the mechanics and even measuring everything up as we were planning to convert it into a car camper; We took it back and it was a low pressure sell and they said just contact them if we wanted to purchase. We thought about it over 24 hours and came back the next day. As foreigners we were worried as unlike most other developed countries the US doesn't have the same consumer protections. They did provide us with a basic insurance plan (not warranty) free of charge on the mechanics of the car. After negotiations, we agreed on an acceptable price, and they even arranged car registration on the spot (which as a foreigner can be rather annoying to do; they even posted us the number plates once they were ready from the DMV). They also removed the middle row of seat placing them into storage for us, to allow us to convert it into a camper. All ready for our return to fly back out of the country. After 6 months driving and 22,000 miles later we couldn't be happier with the purchase. It has been a at least on the car side of things a stress free road trip. Thank you!

My experience with Five Star Autos was EXCEPTIONALLY EXCELLENT, and I would like to tell you why I have nothing to say but that they truly are WONDERFUL! After learning a legal case would not be coming to a conclusion for a long, long time, I didn't have the money I had anticipated to buy a car. I was referred to Five Star by someone from my church, who had purchased a van to be used by the church. My friend told me I should go to Five Star Autos for a used car, and that they were honest, and would give me personalized service, due to my financial limitations. I also am a short woman, who needs a car that I can reach the pedals and drive safely. I first dealt with Gabe, who told me they had nothing at the moment, but were expecting some trade-ins soon that might suit me. Nothing right for me came in for quite a long time, but Gabe called me every few days to stay in touch and let me know that I was not forgotten. After more time had passed with nothing suitable, Gus the owner went to an auction to specifically search for a car that would work for me on the limited amount of money that I had (VERY LIMITED). Gus found just the right car for me, and Gus and Gabe never made me feel "less than" because of the small amount of money I had to spend. I got highly personalized, great customer service from all. They even fixed something that needed replacing and included the repairs in the total price that I paid, license and taxes ALL included. I am very pleased with the used car I bought, and I would HIGHLY recommend this dealership. These guys are honest, and will bend over backwards to find the right car for you!

Raymond and Gabe assisted me in securing the loan and getting me into what I thought was an amazing car. Upon test driving the car I kept hearing a squeaking noise when I would accelerate. I was told the car had been sitting there in the rain so it could have been just the tires. Two weeks after securing my hybrid sonata, the car left me on the side of the road with a hybrid failure warning. I took it back to five star, they kept the car for a week and was advised they could not replicate the issue. Please note I also told them the squeaking hadn’t gone away. Nonetheless I was sent home with no repairs. Fast forward two months later I went to turn on the car, I heard the squeaking start to get faster and then smoke everywhere and a bad burning smell appeared. I had to tow the car back to five star. It’s there they told me the alternator needed to be replaced. They made the repairs however I had to pay for the cost of the part. I was tired and fed up so I paid it and went on my way Finally, the car’s hybrid issue started again and this time the car was leaving me on the side of the road and in the middle of traffic. I caused an accident to say the least due to the failure. I bought this car from five star in October and I traded it back in to Hyundai a week ago. The hybrid system failure was going to cost upwards of 4K to repair. Worst experience of my life dealing with this car that I bought from five star. Raymond and Gabe did what they could to help however there was no way the owner was going to repair the defective vehicle he sold me for 7k. Avoid going here

I was looking for a car for my wife. We looked at a few different models and decided to get the Ford Focus Hatchback since it comes with an economical 4-cylinder engine that gets great MPGs and has plenty of cargo space. During our searches we narrowed it down to 3 options, all around the same price. After looking at all 3 of them I decided that the best option was the one being sold at Five Star Autos. I was the color she wanted, had very low miles for the year, and came fully loaded since it was the Titanium package. When I went to the Dealer I was greeted and helped by Jack. Within 5 mins I was doing a walkaround and got the keys for a test drive. After the drive I was content with the car, the way it drove, how emasculate it was outside and inside, and knew my wife would love it. So I put a down payment and they helped get me better financing than what I had gotten for myself. After all was said and done I told them that this was a surprise for my wife and she didn't know yet and that I would be renting a trailer to haul the car the 60 miles to my home two days later. When it came time to pick up I had horrible weather, non-stop rain and near freezing temperature, and even in these conditions Jorge got wet helping me load up and secure the car when I don't think they had any obligation to do so. Thank you Jack, Jorge, and the rest of the Five Start Autos the wife loved the surprise and broke down crying when she saw it in the driveway with a bow on it. Best Christmas/ Anniversary gift.

My wife and I went to 5 star, we made an appointment with Cesar. 'Here are the keys, go drive it,' he said. 'Can we go on the highway with it? When do you want us back?' 'Oh yeah, go on the highway, drive it how you are going to drive it. Back? I don't care, go to the movies if you want!' Right off of the bat there was no pressure coming from Cesar to purchase this vehicle. My wife and I were gone for almost an hour! We fell in love with the car immediately. We showed up at 10 for the test drive and were home by 2 with our new car! They took our 2001 Chevy Tracker for a trade in, and the process was super easy. Not to mention a great deal on our new (to us) 2008 VW Touareg!!! We kept thinking it was too good to be true, waiting for the 'catch', but there wasn't one. We got a great car, at a great deal, and the guys at Five Star took care of us! The car had a few items we wanted addressed, and at no time was it ever an issue. 'We'll fix what ever you want, just let us know.' I called Gus a couple of days later to make the appointments, and during that time something else (that was my fault) broke. 'We'll take care of that too! No problem, we'll fix it.' These guys are amazing! They made the buying process so easy, and we're thrilled with how easy they're making it for our repairs! We will be going there for our next vehicle too!!!

The perfect spot to get my new car. I was referred to them by my mechanic as my car just hit 180K miles and was not doing well after investing in quite a few repairs. From the very first moment I was very clear what I needed: a 4x4 with a spacious driver space as I'm a big guy and not all cars -even some big ones- deliver a driver space comfortable for someone my size. They offered me a number of cars and had no issues testing them all: they where always devoted to finding the right car for me since the very first moment.I tried SUV's, Trucks, and even though when I found no car that I fitted me (a very nice Ford explorer couldn't work because was not truly 4x4 )they kept searching until they found a car that suited me. At the end they offered me a very nice Grand Cherokee fully loaded that fitted my budget and included some nice things as a very comprehensive warranty in case anything happened. Also they have provided a great post sale service included good deals on maintenance and support getting the best out of my Grand Cherokee I'm truly impressed by them and I will definitely keep buying from them in the future!

I wasn't sure what to expect from this small building with tons of other used car dealerships lining the streets but I have found this place to be upstanding and honest. I only heard of this place because my dad, an undercover cop for 20 years bought two cars from the dealership. I told them my dad's name when I asked about the car and they offered me their warranty at a huge discount. The car was advertised at 86000 miles. Once I had signed the papers and gotten it home I realized it had 110000. I messaged the salesman who said it was too late because I had signed the paper that he "showed me" which meant he just pointed where to sign. I felt got. I called Robert the owner who assured me that Dee was an upstanding guy and that's not how they do business so he gave a partial refund on my deposit. Robert is all about customer satisfaction and has helped me in my decision to give his establishment a 5 star review. I don't care about mistakes as much as I care about what is done to fix them.

I found the place by chance when I was looking for a car, after seeing some photos of a car I went to check it out and I was surprised to see that the car looked even better than on the website. I met a friendly salesman (Joaquin) who showed us the car and let us tested it, it felt like new. We closed the deal and 1h+ later I was driving home with my new car. Like a week later the check engine light turned on and I found out the reason, I talked to Gus (the boss) and he ordered the piece for me, took the car back to the dealer, they fix it and now it drives better than ever. I was really thankfull and they said goodbye to me with a smile. While making the deal they explain everything to you, no hidden fees, no nothing. I recently bought a Kia Soul from 5 Star Autos and it was actually a pretty pleasant experience. We dealt with Gus, Mathew and Cesar, all of whom were straightforward, friendly and honest. The car checked out pretty well at a local mechanic, and Five Star fixed the minor items that their on site mechanic could deal with. Before finding this car we had seen quite a few at various dealers, and had witnessed a range of approaches; from the pounce-on-you, to ignore-you, to "that vehicle is at our other location".....The guys at Five Star found a nice middle ground. I didn't feel pressured, or soft-soaked, or lied to. I was never quite sure which of these three guys I was primarily working with, and the scheduling of the minor repairs was a bit vague (partly my own fault) so maybe they could sharpen up on that, but overall I was very happy with the transaction. And would certainly go there again.

I bought a 2014 Subaru Outback from Gabe and Gus. I had shopped extensively throughout the state and inspected, test drove, and researched many cars. Five Star Autos had the best car in the best condition for the best price. Gabe and Gus were exceptionally honest and fair throughout the entire process. There were a couple of minor repairs and maintenance work recommended by the inspection mechanic, and Five Star did all the work to full specifications - even the inspection mechanic was impressed! Since then, I have had a couple of issues with my other cars, and Five Star was able to fix them for me at a tiny fraction of the cost of the dealer and my local repair guy. This is also my new repair shop! I highly recommend Five Star Autos! Make sure you check with them before you buy anywhere else!

So when I got there I saw a Tiguan Volkswagen. Didn’t see the back roof of the car was broken. About 2 weeks having bought the car it started heating up. I called the owner he told me to take my car so I did. He ended up charging me $80 dollars just to put water in my coolant and not check my right beam light when I had addressed all the problems my car was having to him. He gave it back to me and on the way home my car kept heating up. I kept calling and leaving messages. They kept telling me he was on vacation and he’ll call me later. I never got a call back. And I’m still trying to fix my car on my own. DONT RECOMMENDED!!!

Gus and his team are amazing! We have been extremely satisfied customers for 7 years. We've purchased 2 cars from them and could not be happier. My only regret is taking so long to write this review. They are patient, actually hear what the customer wants, not pushy at all, and they want the best for their customers. We received a great deal on both of our cars and they are still going strong. I got their information on lines when I came to the shop, the guy (Gus) was working in the shop answered my questions so professional and patient , He helped us to pick up the right car with our needs for my teenage son - new driver. After we bought the car, any time when we have questions he would answer us in the first place. The guys working in this shop are wonderful and friendly. They are so professional and trustful. After while we bought the second car from five stars. So far two cars we bought from Gus are working so well.

Buyer be warned. Take your vehicle to a real repair shop before you buy any of these lemons. Transmissios bad to sunroofs that do not shut. Very unwilling to help with any problems.. hopefully this place won't be around long.. in my opinion this car lot is worse than the area than the car lot is in 137 Aurora. As well the lot stole my belongings that where still in the vehicle when they took the vehicle back to look what was wrong... Then the sold the car to someone else.. when I thought they were Fixing it

If I could give zero stars I would. Bought a Subaru from there within the first week after taking it home it started breaking down and has continuously had issues since. They sent me to a ghetto shop to get the first issue fixed and it looked like the work of a crack head. Now it’s in the shop for a head gasket problem and turns out upon further inspection both the heads are cracked and appear to have been that way for a long time the shop says most likely since I got the car. Thumbs down!

We visited 5 Star Autos based on a Mini Cooper listing they had on their site. The Mini was exactly as listed, clean and in great shape, no surprises. The test drive was easy and hassle free, and we worked with John and Gus to complete the purchase. Stay away from this dealership. I reached out via Facebook marketplace to inquire about a truck. I spoke with Carlos and at first he answered all my questions. But when I decided it was not the truck I was looking for he decided to act extremely immature and unprofessional and got upset that I would have the audacity to ask a sales "pro" questions about a vehicle they were selling. Heed my advice, steer clear from any place of business that has employees who act like this.

Stay away!!! Bought a Toyota Camry and a little over a few months later while getting the brakes done we were told that the car burns oil. Toyota had a recall years ago for that reason. Its a 2000.00 plus fix but not a guarantee it will work. Now were stuck with a car that needs oil put in certain miles on or before and had to get brakes done. You could have looked over the car before setting it on the lot to screw someone over. Never again. 5 star Auto to 1 star Auto

Bought a car. And probably spend over 2 thousand to catch up with its technical issues. It's been 3years. It's still needs to be fixed. When I purchased it there was squeaky noice from chevrolet Cruz which they told me it's because of the cold weather. I took there many times to fix. They changed things but noice was still there. I ended up taking to GM and they said front crank seal was broken and needs to be fixed for another $400! Not happy with the purchase.

Bought a Honda van. Within two months engine gone. Five star auto fixed it and told us that they put another engine. It was going ok. However there were other problems such as starter ... We have been spending $500 every other month. Again it stopped yesterday and found out it needs a new engine. Very frustrated. Within a year the new engine is goneWhat kind of the engine was that? Nice people, but the vehicle is not reliable for us. It is our experience.

Dishonest business practices. Concealed suspension problems with excessive greasing of blown out joints. All leaked out after 2 weeks, making failed parts impossible to miss. $1,000 in parts alone, first 30 days. 10 months later, spent twice as much on tows & replacement parts, than on payments. From a vehicle they "inspected, and found to be in great condition "... Some real shiesters. Take your hard earned money somewhere else!!!

I totaled my car in June and bought a Mazda3 from these guys in may. I like these guys. Dee was helpful but not pushy like all the other used car lots i went to. If you didn’t want something he understood. Honesty is sadly hard to find when car shopping and so far i’ve had no issues at all with my car. Nice and smooth transaction with them. First time in a while I bought a car from a dealer. They had 3 trucks I liked, and when I settled on one (2006 Tacoma), they gave me a fair price for my trade-in. Really, it could not have gone more smoothly. No pressure, no slimy BS talk or fake friend-making. There was an issue with the tire pressure sensors, and when I returned a couple weeks later they replaced them, no charge. Thanks 5-Star.

We bought our Nissan high roof van from them to convert into a van home. Good customer service, and good price. Even after buying it, they have been very helpful in solving all our issues and helping us source parts to replace any of ours that we wanted to change. Bought a used 2006 Honda Civic from them. The car has had a few issues since but they've been more than willing to fix it in their shop. They covered the cost of the immediate issues and charged only a fraction of the cost a honda dealer or other auto shop would have charged for other maintenance work on it. They've been very good to me so I highly recommend them.

Was searching for a truck for a long time and it seemed that soon as i found a good deal they would sell immediately, but then i found five star autos and they had exactly what I was looking for and then some! Were easily able to answer all my questions and quick to help me through the process! Would definitely recommend if looking for a new used car and unsure

BUYER BEWARE! We bought a vehicle and within 2 weeks it is completely useless unless we spend at least $3500 to fix it. The underside of the vehicle is completely covered in rust and the exhaust tailpipe is missing. The exhaust melted the electrical harness and now we have a giant useless piece of garbage. Do your homework and buy from a more reputable dealer.

Great customer service. Contacted over the phone to get pre-approval and quote for trade in towards a van we found there. Gus and John were great at navigating that and getting everything set for quick process. The office dog was the closer on the sale. Bought 2006 2500 GMC HD they fixed all the required items to complete purchase. After purchasing on the drive home the bearings failed.
