It is the most unprofessional moving company I’ve ever seen. Look how the movers just piled up my belongings at my new place and left boxes of my things in the driveway in the rain at 2AM! I paid over $1,600 to move 2 blocks down the road for a one attic bedroom with 3 guys and 1 big truck and took them from noon until 2am the next day which supposably it should take no more than 7 hours like what the company quoted for me. Of course not taking breaks into account, the guys will disappear for a long time throughout the day and I caught them 2-3 times hiding at places on their phone. The movers were so unprofessional, they failed to wrap anything, damaged walls and they were swearing at each other, making unprofessional comments all the time during moving. At one point the next door neighbour had to tell the guys to stop being disrespectful. They threw my containers/boxes down the stairs instead of carrying them. They broke my $1,000 6 drawers king bed, 2 brand new IKEA dressers which were close to $600, a mini fridge, some jewelry boxes, and my whole night stand and my piggy bank had around few hundred dollars went missing. Other furnitures like my couch parts were missing that I couldn’t even put them back together so I ended up replacing 80% of the furnitures I had. They dropped off everything on my driveway and left them in the rain at 2am and told me that all three of them had to go because their grandmas were all suddenly admitted to a hospital. I had to call two friends to help me to bring everything inside in the rain at 2am. I later called their company and emailed their claim department with all the furnitures damaged with pictures and proofs and they just never get back to me and they would not pick up my calls. NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY unless you want broken and missing furnitures! DO NOT GET FOOLED!!!

After receiving a very misleading quote and description of their capabilities, we're left wishing we had selected another company for our recent move. We were very clear in describing what we needed moved. We were quoted $1200. After a pleasant, but slow moving crew finished the job, we were charged ~$2000 and our antique family piano took minor damage. The movers were set on wrapping every last item in layers and layers of tape which was not necessary and prolonged the span of our move by hours. Upon realizing our piano was to be moved downstairs (5 steps - previously discussed) and after the piano was already half way down the stairs, they told us they did not have proper tools to move the piano and they were concerned of the risk to our piano, stairs, and their safety. They then proceeded to drop the piano down each step using the smallest dolley possible. We've called and attempted to seek a few hours for the gross discrepancy in quoted hours and damaged piano but never received a call back.

That was a disaster… If you can’t make a commitment, so don’t place an order. Moving process is not the same as ordering pizza, it should be done at specific day and time! Absolutely irresponsible company! My experience: 1) Movers were supposed to come between 2-3pm 2) At 3 pm we were informed that they are running late and will come at 4pm 3) Once we called for updates, they told us that there’s a truck issue, but they are working on it. 4) At 5pm we called again and they advised that they might not come today…. I would also like to mention that in each conversation they asked us one question- if we payed a deposit already… Looks like that was the only thing that matters by that time. Btw, we payed a deposit when booked their service.

My partner and I have contacted Get Mover’s multiple times regarding damage to our property and unprofessional services and have received no follow up. They didn’t wrap any of our belongings causing immense amounts of damage to our furniture and possessions and a 4 block move took all day. They didn’t place labeled boxes in the appropriate locations, they dropped our belongings out of the back of the moving truck, and showed up late to on the day of the move. To top this off, they have been avoiding our calls and despite threats of legal action they still refuse to respond. This is by far the worst moving experience we’ve experienced. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Do not let the five star reviews fool you.
