Hi Andrew...thx for this opportunity to follow up on your company's services during my move. Jay and Anthony couldn't have been more personable, efficient, or professional. Having been a mover in my own past, back before electricity, I can wholeheartedly endorse not only the fellas doing the physical work (what we used to call the 'grunt work', or sometimes, 'hump work'), but also the interactions I've had with you. I don't recall if we connected in real time over the phone, but I know we traded v-mail messages, and the rest of the process via email. You also were quite professional in those interactions. In fact, were I still a young man in need of employment, my experience with Two Small Men would leave me wanting to be a part of ensuring your continued success in what has grown exponentially more competitive a business to be in. Anyway, back to the fellas. Having the secondary pick up location to empty my storage locker, and the additional 3 pieces that needed to go from the garage at my new address into the basement presented Jay and Anthony with the chance to impress yet again. Impress they did. I recall back in my moving days that while I don't smoke, many of my co-workers did, and there seemed to be too many smoke breaks, in my opinion. If the fellas do smoke, they certainly did not do so during the move, and frankly given the size of my move (about 2 hours or so to complete), they surely could have taken such a break given the 4 hour minimum without ever going over time. So again, let me say that every facet of this move that involved Two Small Men was carried out in exemplary fashion. I highly recommend and fully support that the greatest reward possible is provided for Jay and Anthony. When I was seeking a moving company in the first place, I was somewhat put off by how the industry has changed regarding how the cost of a move is calculated, but that's across the board, no matter what company one is dealing with, and is certainly not a complaint in any way. What I am trying to say is that I consider the money well spent. Thanks again to you Andrew, and to both Jay and Anthony for an excellent moving experience. Used this company for our move. First, we did not have a full 3 bedroom house to move as we junked our living and family room couches/chairs before the move and only one appliance (fridge) was being moved. They estimated one truck for the move but due to using inexperienced staff, had to order a second truck that was not even one quarter filled but they charged us for 2 trucks nonetheless. I say that the staff was inexperienced because we were told that our fridge would have to stay because they could not get it out the front door. The fridge was not even a standard size as our kitchen could only fit a smaller size fridge. When the second truck arrived, it came with an experienced mover who quickly showed the others how to get the fridge out. They were also advised to be aware that our dining and one bedroom suite were made of white pine, a softer wood and to exercise extra care with these items. Both suites were damaged extensively, as was most of our wooden furniture and some other items. Management response to our complaints was less than satisfactory. They would not remove the charge for the second truck which had doubled our bill. They removed $300 only and in my opinion, that was a slap in the face. I am frankly astounded that they have received so many positive reviews. I would never use them again, nor would I recommend them to anyone else.

My wife found Two Small Men with Big Hearts Moving Company and man, they far exceeded our expectations as to what we've expected from a moving company since we've heard some horror stories of movers damaging furniture and walls, etc. The day of the move, they (Ben, Mike, and Chase) were on time and ready to go. We gave directions and watched them handle our furniture and all else with care. We were pleased to see that they wrapped everything that had drawers that could accidently open. But the part that impressed me most was their speed and determination to get us moved out of our old place into our new place. They all worked like strong, fast, seasoned vets - like a well oiled-machine. They were super friendly, we had great conversations along the way (yes, I was a bit of a distraction at times but they still trucked through!) We're very happy with the service they gave us. The price was good too. I truly don't write reviews much, but I can - and want to - vouch for Two Small Men With Big Hearts Moving Company if you are looking for a great and integral moving company to handle your belongings. Wow what an amazing experience we had! My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of having Aaron, Mike & Jared as the team that was handling our move. They were on time and got started RIGHT away. The most friendly and down to earth men you could ever meet. If you have the chance to request that specific team I really would recommend them. They work well together. My boyfriend and I had a relatively small move but I was still shocked on how quick they moved. Wasted no time. I also had my piano moved. They were very gentle and had a plan of action before proceeding with the piano which I truly appreciated. I had a few requests and they listened and did it without question. They triple checked to see if we needed anything else done by them before leaving. We had a wonderful experience with Andrew as well who was behind the scenes planning everything out. Best Move Ever! I would give 6 stars but Google only allows 5! I have moved many times over the years including two moves internationally and two domestically all in the last 10 years. I have to say that my move yesterday was the best yet. From the very first call to the signing of the bill, this company was professional, courteous and extremely efficient. They showed up on time and handled my furniture like it was their own. I was impressed by the professionalism of the six young men who packaged my furniture better than the original manufacturer packaging it came in :-). Each worker checked throughout the move to make sure we didn’t have any concerns or questions. Each was very personable which made the move that much more enjoyable and stress free. I want to thank Laurie (office admin) and the best moving team of Dave, Justin,Brandon, Aaron, Tony and Adrian. You guys were awesome. If you are considering a move, there is no company better than Two Small Men With Big Hearts.

We were originally supposed to have three men to move us, one was a no show. Ben and Ethan made sure that didn't affect our move. They were professional, worked quickly and were very polite. They answered all our questions patiently. There is a storage shortage due to Covid and we had to use a trailer loaned to us by a friend. Ben and Ethan packed 95% of our belongings in that trailer, which we didn't believe could be done. They also went above and beyond by helping us to rearrange the things in our barn so that the remaining things that didn't fit in the trailer could go in there. Could anything have been done better? That third person could have done some wrapping, a few things were not wrapped prior to loading that I felt should have been. Regardless, we would highly recommend this company. From the professional quote, to the confirmation call a few days prior, to the follow up survey to inquire as to satisfaction and room for improvement.

We used this company for the first time last weekend, we had never used a moving company before and were very nervous about who would come to our home and how they would treat our stuff. I cannot say enough good things about our experience, the guys were on time, ready to go. They worked extremely hard and fast, they had a game plan when I didn't. They took better care of my furniture than we would have, while packing things in expertly to avoid a second trip. They were like family on moving day. The guys were extremely professional, friendly, and caring. They made the move so much easier. I seriously would never move without this company's help again, I will be recommending them to anyone I know that is moving. I am hiring them again to move stuff from my office. Sometimes when I read glowing reports on a company's web site I am skeptical if it was really written by a 'real" customer, I assure you, every word I have written is true.

The part of the transition process to a new home I feared the most was moving day and as it turns out it was the smoothest part. Initially trying to find a moving company was a challenge. The first company I received a quote from was double the price and told me it would take two trucks and two days (12 hours). Happy to say these guys did the move in one truck with some room to spare and completed the move start to finish in 5.5 hours. This company posted resources for packing and ways that many companies take advantage or upcharge during a move. My thought was if a company is willing to point this out then they must be very honest and transparent this was the deciding factor for me. The whole process was amazing and everyone was super friendly, accommodating, reassuring and polite. Customer service was outstanding. Not wanting to move again anytime soon but Two Small Men With Big Hearts would be my first call. Thanks so very much!

We hired Two Small Men with Big Hearts for a recent move in the Hamilton Area. From the beginning they were accommodating and professional on the phone through the booking process. Due to COVID they requested photos which I provided a virtual tour link for them to quote. He provided several options for pricing based on projected time lines. He gave tips on things we could do to keep the cost down which was a pleasant surprise. On the day of the move the crew showed up on time and got right to work. They were hard working and diligent with our belongings. The move went smoothly and they were a huge help with unloading and actually putting things away in storage spots like under the stairs which would have been a lot of extra work for us. The final price came in almost exactly as the quote had predicted. Overall they were a pleasure to deal with will 100% be recommending them to friends and family.

We moved from a one floor bungaloo to a 3 story new build and from start to finish this moving company was awesome! From booking our pre-move walk-through to the emptied truck at end of moving day the employees of Two Small Men with Big Hearts Moving Co. were efficient, curteous, helpful and friendly. It was easy to trust our furniture and breakables to them and we were really impressed by their care and professionalism. It took half the amount of time we anticipated and we are very grateful to Chase, Ben and Aaron for all of their hard work and dedication to getting us moved in without a scratch! I booked this company for my move on June 30. I had a great experience for several reasons: 1. Due to a scheduling conflict, instead of 2 people I was assigned three at a discounted rate to make up for having to delay my move time which was more than I would have expected. 2. The three young men who showed up (Jared, Dylan, and Chase) were prompt, friendly, professional, and efficient. They came prepared with all paperwork and tools, they asked if I had any questions, they took health and safety seriously (this is important to me), and overall were just fantastic to work with. I really can't say enough about them. 3. The supervisor/scheduler that I worked with, Andrew, was also very friendly and helpful and overall really great to work with. I would definitely use this company again if I needed moving services. This was a really great experience.

And Devon, Anthony and Aaron were absolutely wonderful for both the packing and the move itself. It was a big job (as Andrew had said, but we doubted!) and Devon and his team worked long hours, with good humour, great professionalism and speed, without complaint even as it got dark, even as once we got to the new house there was tricky truck driving and they discovered we had 3 floors, with some very narrow and awkward stairs. Everyone was on time, the estimate was very close, and the price for the size of the job was competitive. I cannot recommend these guys enough. I have never hired movers before and was overwhelmed by the process. Andrew did my estimate and reservation. He was patient, knowledgeable and friendly - plus quick to respond to all my communication. He was the main reason I chose Two Small Men from the 20 quotes I received. On the day, Chase, Anthony and Ben were at my door right on schedule. I was moving apartments just down the road but I was still blown away with how fast they were. From loading to unloading, the move took under four hours. They were efficient, organized and kind to me and to the other folks in my buildings needing the elevator. I literally just had to stay out of the way and point to where things should go. I am never moving on my own again and would use Two Small Men in a heartbeat.

We realized that we needed some help while in the process of moving (some participants discovered that they are not as young as they used to be). Luckily a few guys were available due to a cancellation and were on the site within half an hour. Circumstances played to our favor. We were impressed with the service: fast, diligent and efficient. Thank you! However what impressed even more was the fact that they didn't take advantage of the situation. They charged a fair price and worked hard to help out a client in need. We did call a number of other places in Hamilton and they were asking 900+ for two hours of work because it was last minute. We highly recommend the company. They have a great reputation and it is well deserved!

I can't say enough nice things about this company. From the booking to the payment, it was easy and very professional. I had been quoted over $2000+ from 2 other moving companies, but Big Men with Small Hearts beat that by almost a $1000. They were on time, and were enthusiastic from the very beginning. I used Two Small Men with Big Hearts for a move this weekend - Hamilton to Grimsby, and not only was the price reasonable for the amount of work (three-story house to another three-story house), but the crew was exceptional to work with. They arrived on time, were polite and careful as they worked, and checked in a number of times to explain as needed or confirm that we were happy with the progress. Adrian is an EXPERT at packing the truck - I was amazed with how much of our stuff he was able to make fit! More than happy with all of the guys - Adrian, Marco and Marcus were all so positive throughout the day, and had a great sense of humour despite the long day and back-breaking work. No complaints at all. Will definitely contact them for any future moves!

We used Two Small Men with Big Hearts Hamilton for three (3!) moves in less than six months. They have been excellent: on time, friendly, fair, helpful and really capable. Dave & Brandon were tenacious and expert in all the twists and turns in our new house & staircase. E.J. did a ton to give me peace of mind in booking all the dates and locations where we had to shift our belonging to and from. Andrew even showed up for extra muscle when we needed him, last minute. Great company with a team of good people that seem to work really well and professionally together. I've used more expensive movers and not felt satisfied by either their work ethic, interest in doing a good job or billing. I'd highly recommend these guys across the board.

We had a great experience with management and with the movers of Two Small Men With Big Hearts! They were very professional to deal with on the phone and by email to set everything up. We were very impressed with all the guys who moved everything as well! They were friendly, efficient, very careful to wrap or strap everything, use blankets, secure drawers and protect table tops, and were so careful yet quick. There is absolutely no way we could have done what they did, and it was worth every penny! I will recommend them to anyone moving, and I would use them again (except we hope we don't have to as this is hopefully our forever home!). We had excellent service from this company, especially the two gentlemen who moved us. We did have a late start due to a staff emergency, but Rob came in from out of town to help. Adrian is a great representative for this business; great attitude, very positive, hard worker. He clearly understands how stressful moving can be for his clients as he kept me calm and occupied. This moving company came highly recommended to me . Surprisingly they totally exceeded my expectations. Andrew educated me so I was very prepared the big day. I can’t say enough great things about this company and movers. I am so happy we went with them and had the gentlemen we did for our move. Andrew was very efficient and professional with booking our move. He returned calls and emails quickly and took the time to go over everything with me. We wanted to choose a local moving company and we were very impressed with the service from Two Small Men. Andrew was very prompt at answering any inquires and coordinating the administrative side of the move. On the move day, Devon, Ben and Mike were incredibly fast and professional. Had Devin, Mike, Brandon and Ben move me today and I was extremely happy with their service. I had gotten 3 quotes to move out of our 5 bedroom house and Two Small Men were a little bit more expensive per hour than the other companies but these guys were quick, efficient and very friendly. The guys moved everything out of my house including disassembly of 2 beds and a crib and had everything in my new house in 4 hours and 45 minutes not including the 45 minute drive. In the end the extra 50 dollar an hour charge was well worth it since other companies told me to expect it to take 8 to 10 hours to move a 5 bedroom house. I will be recommending these guys to everyone I know.

Andrew and Jesse did a fantastic job to move my mom's and my stuff to my new place. They tied up quite a few loose ends for me. It was really a painless moving experience on my end. My family and I just used this company for our move and we could not be more pleased. We had a huge move as we had lived at our home for more than 20 years and had accumulated a lot of stuff but the movers were absolutely amazing. Devon, Dave and Adrian not only kept themselves entertained throughout the day but also kept us entertained as well. They were extremely quick, efficient and careful with our belongings and didn’t even come close to damaging any of our belongings or walls considering how fast they were moving things in and out of the houses. Jared and Anthony did a great job moving my mom from her home of 68 years to a retirement home. The day was hot and muggy but they worked long and hard to get the job done, they arrived on time, were very efficient in getting the house empty and packed into the truck. Once they arrived at the retirement home a short distance away, they quickly unloaded and started the delivery to my moms new apartment, even with only one elevator or the three flights of stairs!! This was my first experience hiring professional movers and overall I can't say enough great things about this company. They were professional, friendly, prompt, and efficient through all aspects of the process from planning to go-time. Excellent experience with this company, from start to finish. The office got back to me immediately, explained the process clearly and called to confirm a couple of days ahead of time again. The truck showed up right on time, they got right to work, and did a wonderful job. Moving day is always a little hectic, but these guys (specifically Tyson, Devon, Adrian & Jesse) navigated all the challenges (lack of street parking, heavy furniture, narrow doorways) with ease and a good sense of humour. Back in August of 2017, I used this company to move from a second floor apartment to a basement apartment across town. They were amazing! It wasn't a lot of stairs, but they're never fun to navigate and despite the many, many book boxes I had the movers were cheerful and efficient. They loaded, moved and unloaded everything quickly and with care. At the time I thought their rates were great and I was extremely happy with the service they provided. I'm looking to move again in the next few months and plan to use their services at that time. They do live up to their name!

We were disappointed in our previous movers (late, complaining and unwilling to move certain appliances) so tried Two Small Men. The difference was incredible. The office was in contact with us right away and sent someone out to do a quote the next day. The movers arrived on time and were happy and friendly. They were incredibly fast but careful and considerate. They helped reassemble large pieces of furniture, swept up and organized our garage so we could walk through more easily. They did an amazing job for a reasonable rate. 100% would recommend and use again.

We hired this company to move the contents of a storage unit to our house. Aaron and Brandon were the nice young men sent to help. They were very courteous and careful during all aspects of the move. They listened to our instructions and advised us of their procedures. The move went very well and we were extremely pleased with the company and especially Aaron and Brandon. Devon, Brandon, Mike and Ben did an excellent job moving our belongings to our new house. They were fast but efficient and treated our stuff with care. They didn't break a single thing, they took apart and reassembled our beds and dining room table, they wrapped our large furniture well for added protection, they took the time to place furniture and items exactly where we wanted, and they were very professional. They quoted us high but finished a few hours early. Definitely worth the cost and I would recommend them to anyone!

Top notch! We have just moved to Hamilton and hired a crew for unload only. Cory, Tanner and Mike were our crew and they rocked it. They were on time-a few minutes early actually-and got straight to work. They were efficient, polite and professional. We had two spots to unload at and they had they finished within about 5 minutes of our time that was booked. Rates are very reasonable and Laurie, who I spoke with on the phone to make the arrangements, was tremendously helpful also. I highly recommend working with these people!

These guys were amazing!! They went over and beyound to accommodate my situation, which ment afternoon start.....taking their lunch break while I was waiting to receive keys for my new place. My experience with the moving company Two Small Men With Big Hearts was superb! Andrew from start to finish constantly answered questions and accommodated us with some last minute changes. Our movers Ben, Dylan, and Devon were friendly, polite and most importantly professional. They had to move many antique pieces of furniture and they did so with the utmost of care. I highly recommend using this moving company. It is our second time using them and both experiences have been exemplary!

Absolute pleasure to deal with. Moved my stuff out into storage with only a couple days notice. Team did such a great job, I hired them to move stuff into our new place. Movers were friendly, energetic, and careful. Office was communicative and accommodating. They even sent one of the supervisors down when an oddly manufactured piece of furniture needed special tools. With all the stories you hear about nightmare moves, I couldn't think of a better company to trust with your next move.

I had used two small men with big hearts before and my experience was great. The guys where nice thoughtful and treated my stuff with respect. They moved it faster then I thought possible as well. So when it was time to move I called them again and i wasn't disappointed at all. Same kindness and respect for my belonging. And yes it was 2 different guys. The team of Mike, Aaron and Justin arrived on time, and worked efficiently til the move was completed. I felt my things were looked after well, and all three were willing and gracious when I asked for any help. Andrew, who helped organize the move, was responsive, cheerful and helpful throughout the booking and moving process. My neighbour and I shared the move, which worked out well for both of us in terms of time and value. I would definitely use this company again!

Despite waiting for hours in the truck while my purchase closed, and working well into the evening hours, Ben and Devon did not change their demeanor from courteous, reassuring and helpful. Best moving company I have ever used. Ben, Anthony and Robert were all very fast, strong and efficient. Everything was handled with extreme care. I have some delicate, antique furniture so this was very important to me. They were also very knowledgeable. My new place has a lot of stairs but they handle it with ease. The price was very reasonable and everything got moved quickly. They made sure everything went where I needed it and made the whole move so smooth.

We used Two Small Men for our recent move and couldn't be happier with how everything went. Anthony and Jay were on time, professional, positive and genuinely nice people. They were very careful with our items, but still managed to move everything in lightning speed! They even put the bed together for us so all we had to do was put in the screws. The rate was also much lower than what we were quoted from other moving companies. I would recommend them to anyone!

Had another incredibly positive move experience using Two Small Men with Big Hearts. Anthony and Aaron were a delight to work with, professional, fast and conscientious. They moved all my items without damaging anything, and even took the time to plan around a low ceiling and a very tall wardrobe. As an aside they were also great with my very anxious dog! While I hope I don't have to move again, I would hire Two Small Men with Big Hearts in the event I did.

Was an easy process from booking to paying. Andrew was great to work with and provided all information needed. Pricing was very reasonable and no hidden/additional costs, which was great! Moving day was great. Team showed up on time, they were careful and quick with moving all our items. Appropriate sized truck was used - only one trip was needed! Brandon and Aaron did an amazing job for us! It was a challenging "out of market" move with 2 drop off points at end of day. They were extremely efficient, very polite, careful and courteous. Frankly, we enjoyed working with them. The move was managed in a timely fashion and their efforts made for a stress free day. Definitely recommend these guys and this company. It will be a "no-brainer" to reach out and use them again. First rate.

Our company hired them to move our office as well as our house! They sent three men Richard, Dave and Adrian and they were all AWESOME! Super friendly and responsive, they took direction very well and worked in a timely manner. They were great company to have for the two days we had them. They also did a great job of keeping small parts together and everything well wrapped and protected. Overall 10 stars if I could give that many.

Had TSMWBH pack/move for us,,, Mike and Dave were awesome,,, they worked very efficiently,, not wasting any time and not a single complaint... they took care of fragile items and quickly handled any special requests i had. It was a very comfortable move 10/10 would recommend!! There was a third man that helped with the packing, however i could not get his name,, he did an awesome job packing the kitchen,, did it quickly and well!

Chase, Mike and Aaron were fantastic to work with! They were very efficient on site and worked hard to accomplish our moving goals. We had multiple stops along the way and together accomplished the move in only 1 day (our move was a couple hours away), where another company wanted to do it in 2. We were thankful for their hard work and good attitudes during the day! We would definitely recommend these guys for a move!

My partner and I have both moved a lot and we both didn't want to have to deal with moving our furniture (we also would have had to rent a van, etc...), so someone recommend this moving company. They were on time, professional, friendly and they worked well together. We had to go to 2 locations and they were flexible and helped us with where things should go. We hired 2SMBH Moving to help unload a moving truck into our second floor apartment. Devon and Dave were kind and efficient from start to finish - they unloaded a 16ft truck in about 2 hours! No damage to the apartment or the items. Would definitely hire them again. I dealt with Andrew at the office to book the appointment and he was very friendly, professional, and put me at ease about all my moving worries.

Chase , Dylan and Aaron . We’re fantastic with my kids , made a huge difference . They involved them in being responsible, helpful and never once made myself or kids feel like we’re were in the way. They charged me an additional 300$ for picking up a dining set at Park's furniture. The movers claimed they had to wait for 2 hours to get it. I verified with Park's that they were there for only 20 minutes. They also left a box of kitchen items behind (likely at Park's where they must have needed a way to find room for the dining set) which never made it to my destination in Montreal. Would not recommend.

My move with Ben, Devon & Aaron as my team on my relocation was excellent. Their work ethics were amazing and not once were they idle in the loading or unloading of the truck. There was not a scratch or dent in anything including the walls in both places. Thank you for the care of my belongings. Aaron, Anthony and Chase were great and really helped make our move go a lot smoother and quicker. They were really fast, and handled our belongings with care and professionalism. Even when one of the glass tables broke, they were professional about it and gave us the opportunity to claim damages easily. Anthony, Mike and Dave were awesome!!! Our move actually came in under budget. I waited outside while they moved all the boxes from the house into the truck before I knew it they were ready to go. I recently hired Two Small Men to help my mom move. Booking was easy thanks to excellent communication from Kyle, EJ and Andrew. And I'm told Wes, Mike and Payton did an excellent job on moving day. They showed up on time, treated her belongings with respect and hustled to load/unload the truck. The hourly fee was fair. We had a great experience and highly recommend!

Least painful move ever. Aaron, Devon and Anthony showed up on time and were extremely efficient, professional, and friendly. They took great care of my belongings, including wrapping a shelf unit in plastic wrap to make sure it didn't get damaged in transit because it was a bit flimsy. They finished the job in literally a third of the time another company quoted me!

The guys who came to move our things did a great job and I would rate them a 5 out of 5. The lower overall rating is just because the truck that they brought was a bit too small and I had to make three trips to storage with my car on account of things that would not fit in the truck and I have to move them later. Still, on balance, the experience was a good one.

The crew was fantastic. They were polite, efficient and careful. They moved us in less than the quoted time. I only took a star off because communication from the office was not great. I was impressed by the video chat consultation though. I contacted 5 different companies and they were the only ones to offer that. I would definitely recommend them to a friend.

Dave and Payton were excellent! They helped move all of the furniture in to a new apartment for a family member of mine! Super personable. We’re extremely fast getting the truck packed and help bring everything up to the new apartment on the second floor. Two Small Men (actually three average size guys) just moved me from Dundas to the East End. They did an awesome job. Punctual, hard working, good natured… and the job came in at the lower side of the estimate. Particularly impressed with how they maneuvered the truck in the tightly spaced neighbourhood I moved to. The team at Two Small Men is great! They started right on time and completed right in the middle of their estimated time of 7-9 hours for our house.
