Dr. Scott is one of the kindest Veterinarians I've encountered. She is knowledgeable and caring. I trust her with all of our canine babies. All three are Rescues, so we are even more picky about who takes care of them. A few years back, Shortly after rescuing our Bichon, he encountered life threatening issues and couldn't keep anything down. He was vomiting, lethargic and listless. She kept him on an IV for a few days and then had to perform surgery to find out what was happening. He had Acute Gastritis and hair in his stomach. After the surgery, he healed quickly and we put him on a Prescription Dog Food to keep his tummy in check. I am confident we would have lost him had it not been for Dr. Scott. I know everyone has different experiences with Vet Clinics, but I can honestly tell you - she is a Veterinarian I will continue to take my Canine Babies to. I have found their prices to be very reasonable , as well.

Both Drs. Meschler and Scott are excellent, caring individuals. I generally see Dr. Meschler. He's the dog guy. My rescue dog presented with seizures at 1 1/2 yrs old. She was unable to keep the typical seizure medicine down...nausea and vomiting...Dr. Meschler research what else we could try. We began using an experimental medication that worked like magic. My dog does have to come in for tests twice a year to ensure her liver function remains normal. But without the extra effort by Dr. Meschler, I'm afraid she would have suffered a miserable life of either weekly seizures or constant vomiting. I'm so happy with the care all of my animals have received to date. We have been clients for over 6 years. Have one dog and 4 cats. I cannot recommend this vet enough!

We moved back to Kingwood several months ago. I asked around for a vet. Dr. Meschler was highly recommended. Before we even switched, we think our beloved dog was bitten by a snake-she was yelping and in distress. It was 4:00 in the afternoon and I called to see if they could take us even though she wasn’t a patient. They worked us in at the end of the busy day. The dr completely looked her over and ran bloodwork. Our lil’girl had been acting normally after the episode and there was no bite! However, it could have been a seizure. Dr. Meschler and staff were FANTASTIC! He told us what to watch out for, but felt confident she was ok. God bless him and the wonderful staff! I wouldn’t bring our lil’girl anywhere else! We found our new veterinarian! Thank you!!!

Very nice and professional. Reasonably priced. I've had great experiences each time I've brought my two dogs in. For my most recent visit , due to Covid, a staff member came out to my truck to pick up my dog, brought him back and took my payment. The veterinarian also came out and spoke with me about his treatment. Highly recommend this clinic. Edit: A few months ago I had to put down my dog of 13.5 years. The staff was so sweet and kind throughout the whole process. I can't thank them enough for how they handled a very difficult time for me. They even sent a card in the mail signed by their staff and little card with the rainbow bridge poem. I absolutely love this clinic.

If I could give them 500 stars, I would. My dog came down with a mysterious ailment very quickly. Not only did Dr. Scott and Dr. Meschler feel every bit of worry and sorrow that I felt, but they worked diligently to find an answer and medicine for this rare disease my dog is suffering. They both took the time to explain what I needed to know, provided resources and gave me advice. Even their receptionist and vet techs are so attentive and caring. I've taken my dog here for years for the standard care. This office has always been kind and did a good job. I am grateful for these folks.

This place is horrible. Dr Meschler is horrible. Brought my cat in who was sick and he made me feel like I only had a couple hours left with him and told me he had to be put in a special clinic cause he was so sick. The nurses even had remarks to make me feel as if I was a horrible pet parent. The next day another Doctor called and said he was diabetic with a UTI and would be fine. I spent 24 hours crying and telling my 4 year old how our kitty wasn’t feeling good. Maybe y’all need to be a little more sincere when talking to pet parents.

HORRIBLE last experience. RUDE staff and they nickle and dime you AND they overcharge by THREE times (compared to our previous vet in Sugarland). When we tried to talk to them about their costs, they refused to work with us at all. When we said we would not be back after being treated that way, they replied "OK! BUH-BYE!" We'll be driving back down to Sugarland (an hour away) where we were treated with respect and not raked over the coles on costs. COMPLETELY unprofessional, which wasn't necessary.

Have been a client of Glade Valley for over 23 years. When I first moved to Kingwood, I interviewed every vet in the area. Dr. Kay Scott won my heart and my business with her caring and professionalism. She and Dr. Mike continue to care for our large family of dogs and cats and even though we moved out of the immediate area 5 years ago, we make the trip back to Glade Valley willingly. They are simply the best...

They just did surgery on our 16 year old chipoodle, removed a massive 3 oz mass and she is doing great, she is healing very well and the staff really went beyond measure for our dog. My wife loves that the Dr will call her directly to explain what are any issues. We have also taken our 14 year old lab to them. They are a great veterinarian practice we highly recommend taking your animals too!!

We've seen both Dr. Meschler & Dr. Scott & have nothing but nice things to say. Each has been kind, gentle & caring in their treatment of both us & our beloved pets. Taking our animals when they are healthy is routine, but the care & mannerisms when our babies are sick is what has kept us loyal to Glad Valley. Couldn’t recommend them more.

Dr. Meschler and Dr. Scott are great human beings who care immensely about animals and strive to find inexpensive yet effective treatments for our furry friends. This is NOT one of those corporate chains where one sees assembly-line veterinary medicine and profits above all else. My dogs look forward to going there. What more can I say?

I believe in good customer service and from the reviews, i made a choice not to call this place. I grew up on a farm and the Doc would drive out at anytime of the night to help our sick horse's. I wish that great doc did not retire, there are a lot of places to chose from in this day an time, just 2-3 bad reviews and ill keep away.

Not taking new patients at this time, not open at convenient hours. Maybe if you're a retiree, then this would be a good clinic to take your pet to but I guess we will never know since my dog was just adopted a week ago and they wouldn't even schedule an appointment for her since she isn't an established patient.

Been taking dogs and cats to this place for years, the only reason I go anywhere else is because I just don't live nearby anymore. If I hadn't moved outta Houston though I'd always book vet appointments here. 11/10, go here unless it's an emergency and they're closed.

They really care about animals. They also care about you as the owner as well. When you combine knowledge and compassion that is a winning combination. They are as concerned as much about your pet as you are.

Dr. Meschler really cares about your pets. He gave us plenty of personal attention and discussed my concerns thoroughly. On-time appointments and prices are reasonable and I was fully informed of each charge.

We love this place as they give our furry babies the care they need and more. They are very accommodating when we need documents sent out of town and they know that our pets come first.

The staff are professional and they are also friendly and compassionate. They are taking precautions regarding COVID-19. I am very comfortable putting my fur babies in their care.
