Great park. It has several baseball diamonds as well as a football field. There is a very nice ravine with good mountain biking trails here. Some good wildlife viewing down in the actual ravine. In the winter, there are groomed cross-country ski trails suitable for different levels of difficulty. Connects to Gold Bar Park via a gravel path. Not a ton of parking, so plan in advance during busy summer nights.
Playground
There are no playgrounds at this site.
Dog-friendliness
This is a dogs on-leash area.

Nice park that has plenty of room to bike ski snowshoe, trails along the river are always nice. There is a foot bridge Ainsworth Dyer is what it's named I'm pretty sure and it takes you across the river to Rundle park where again you can go on for km's just exploring the river valley.I guess the only thing that is an eye sore is the water treatment plant nearby so just crop that out of your photos and your all goodI give it a 3 just because of treatment plant within view.

Goldstick park, and the built in ravine are perfect for dog walks, bike rides, and exploration. Park just off baseline/101ave and walk down or start in Gold bar and walk up. Lots of trails which double as crosscountry ski trails in winter. Can be muddy after a rain, and uneven terrain makes for a challenging and relaxing walk. Often quite quiet down on the trail. Bring bug spray in summer for sure!

Premium slowpitch diamond, very clean, well maintained with bright lights for late games. Lots of parking, bleachers and a bathroom.
Restrooms
Changing room with a sink and toilet.
Dog-friendliness
People bring their pets to games. I’ve never seen anyone leave their dog poop. Everyone cleans up after themselves.

  • Mel Henderson

Saw him do sports on Popcorn Playhouse with Eric Neville running the show. A character like Bill Matheson. Of course, Hockey is big in Canada so with the all the lockers and the rubber floor, was that for cleats or skates? I still love the quietness of the place. Great for baseball or football (Soccer).

Lovely park to take a stroll around. The south loop crosses a stream. On the north end it connects to Gold Bar park. We’ve seen it most busy in the winter when people are cross country skiing. Otherwise this is where we take our reactive dog to decompress regularly.

  • Calvin Breitkreuz

they just fixed the one trail closest to baseline, a less known and less travelled trail system that connects cross country ski trails , steeper bike / walk trails to gold bar park. often people walk dogs here due to its " path less chosen " nature

  • Cassandra Tomas

Beautiful park for fall colours. There's a gravel trail on a fairly long and steep hill (for Edmonton) on the north end, which I like for running hill repeats. 4 stars because there is a public bathroom, but it seems to be locked 90% of the time.

  • Kirk Dewhurst

Great sports park. Named after a well know Edmonton sports personality this is a well taken care of Park. It’s clean. Lots of parking. It’s principally servicing baseball games but also some football and soccer. There are washroom

  • KastleDx

A beautiful park with sports facilities by the parking lot and trails that go along Tiger Goldstick creek and next to Strathcona Oil Refinery, leading down into the ravine connecting with Goldbar park.

Never been here before and I've lived in the city for 30 years. It is a mature park, nice full trees and well kept ball diamonds. Parking is limited. Soccer pitch has bleachers and lights. Nice trails.

  • Rayne-Anne Latchford Oosterveld

Nice place to walk once you figure out the park. At first it appears to be just baseball fields. But there are paths once you explore a bit. And it's never too busy.

  • James Harrott

Nice quality diamond maintained really well too. I wish I understood why all diamonds in Edmonton point southeast or southwest as those are into the sunset.

  • L D

Actually an easy location to get to if there wasn't so much construction right now. Love the bleachers and the fields are always in really nice condition.

  • Andrew Croy

This is one of my favorite parks in the city but the city of Edmonton doesn't take very good care of it. No garbage cans or trail maintenance.

  • Earon Ansorger

nice place friendly staff but the tra8ls are not for the faint of heart i nwed to do a lol more trail walking b4 i a tempt this parh again

  • Trevor Lafreniere

I cross country ski here. The trails are great, however everything you do is in the shadow of a refinery. It detracts from the experience.

  • Jim Crawford

A really nice complex, only issue is the hardball diamond has an oil complex right behind the backstop, so you lose a lot of foul balls

  • Emil Yim

Beautiful park very nicely maintained. Quite hard to find due to the lack of signage. It's a little weird with the refinery next to it.

  • T K

There are some fun and hilly trails around the park. Also, tons of access to the shallow creek. Open fields for dogs/kids.

  • Michelle Falkowski

WHO is Tiger Goldstick? A famous jazz musician? Steven Seagals bff? We will never know. But the legend will live forever

  • Jerry S.

3 parking lots of good size, good access to open fields and river valley trails. Met others there for mountain biking.

  • Robyn Volk

Parking was tough with both baseball and soccer going on. Fields are good but mosquitos were atrocious Dog friendly

  • Bruce Silverquill

Nice park, easy access to river valley , I do a 1hr hike loop on each side of river , use both pedestrian bridges

  • Linda Zimmerling

Soccer field was in fantastic condition and was well marked. Nice to have the field house for use of a washroom.

  • Darryl Learie

Nice Walking trails. I really enjoy the stream below. Fun place to explore. Large fields great for kite flying.

  • Quartknee Beats

Other then the view of the industrial plant on the other side of the ravine its a nice place to walk your dogs

  • Karen Marczak

Great trails for walking, biking, and cross country skiing in the winter. Takes you right to goldbar park.

  • C M

Place was closed due to "current situation". Still managed to get a couple laps around the infield in.

  • Michelle Hollik

The trails are difficult to follow, and the homeless camps and litter detract from the natural beauty.

  • Brendon Restall

Really nice out of the way park. Awesome trails. A pleasant stream and top notch baseball diamonds.

  • Daniel David Young

I work in the refinery next to it. Never actually used the range. I just drive past it everyday.

  • Chasing Truth

Amazing Park, Beautiful lots of paths. Squirrels are amazing. It's the best Park in Edmonton AB.

  • Kaiden Kova

Treeline is too close to fence and responsible for many lost balls. Other than that, very nice

  • Shane Gordon

Great trail for the family n dogs.. kind of smells with the sewage plant but not all the time

  • Don Lubinski

Interesting walk with a trail right next to refinery row. The park and facilities are nice.

  • Maggi Mae Posein

Very well maintained and a quiet park where you don't feel like you're in the city.

no washrooms, smelly because of the oil refinery, and not very visually appealing
