A Fantastic Experience at GoodVets for my Anxious Cane Corso I recently visited GoodVets in Germantown with my Cane Corso, Sugar, who was suffering from a severe ear infection. Sugar is known to be fearful of strangers and can display aggression in certain situations. Despite her anxieties, I knew she needed professional help, so I reached out to GoodVets and scheduled an appointment. Knowing Sugar's behavior, I made sure to call ahead and inform GoodVets about her anxiety towards strangers and how I typically handle her visits to the veterinarian. I explained that a simple handoff in the lobby works best for Sugar, allowing her to go to the back while avoiding any stressful encounters. I was relieved when the staff at GoodVets listened attentively and respected my advice. During our first visit, Sugar was nervous but not aggressive. The veterinarians at GoodVets were incredibly patient and thorough while cleaning her ears. They also took the time to explain the medication and how to administer it properly. To my surprise, the next day, they even followed up with a call to check on Sugar's progress. Needless to say, the medication worked very well and Sugar’s ears improved significantly. GoodVets scheduled a follow-up appointment in two weeks. I was amazed that Sugar showed no signs of nervousness upon arriving, which is unusual for her. We did the same handoff routine, and she even allowed the staff to play with her and pet her. It was a clear indication that they were genuinely caring and trustworthy individuals, and Sugar felt comfortable in their presence. Additionally, we were able to take care of all Sugar's shots and vaccinations, thanks to the wellness plan provided by GoodVets in advance. This allowed me to plan within my budget and schedule future visits accordingly. Their communication was excellent, and the doctors displayed great kindness and expertise. Thanks to GoodVets, Sugar is now healthy and happy. I am incredibly grateful for the exceptional care they provided. I wholeheartedly recommend GoodVets to all pet owners, regardless of the size or type of their pets. I am definitely going to be a loyal customer to GoodVets, and I encourage others to experience their top-notch service firsthand. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I lived in the neighborhood and have been taking my dog to Germantown GoodVets for over a year over several appointments. Today my dog started pacing around frantically and I could tell something was wrong and she needed a vet to check her out. It was not a dire emergency but not something I felt I could leave her with for a day as she clearly wasn’t feeling great and in distress. I called GoodVets assuming they would get her right in, as it was an issue that could not wait. They put me on hold for 5 minutes. After the hold they said they didn't have room to get her in and asked me to send in a video of the problem. I was shocked. This was my vet.. my dog is in pain, and they can't find a way to get even a tech to look at her for 5 min? I drove over to 5 Points Animal Hospital and they got her right in despite me not being a previous client. I obviously will never go back to GoodVets and recommend you don’t either. You absolutely can not count on them to help your animal. The staff could clearly care less about animals, I can't imagine working there, getting a call from your client (or anyone) about an animal in need, and refusing to help. The only acceptable answer is - “of course bring them in immediately”. If you're looking for a dependable vet that cares about your animal DO NOT go to Germantown GoodVets.

I rarely leave comments and or reviews online, because I do not like my information attached to them. But I am very thankful to GoodVets for their assistance today, so I will make an exception. My cat had been ill since Sunday, and today Tuesday he seemed to take a turn for the worse. We called and were able to get an appointment at the Germantown location. Harley on the phone was patient and calming. My experience at the office was excellent. The veterinarian was particularly excellent and answered all of my questions and was very caring toward my pet. He was in really good hands with her and the nurse. They were also very upfront about costs. I honestly am very pleased with my experience at GoodVets. You set my mind at ease and got my boy back on the right track. Thank you!

My dog had a little scuffle with another dog and was pretty scratched and bruised up. I really battled taking him to the emergency vet (which would have cost me $175 just for the office visit) or waiting until the morning and I'm so glad I waited. I was on the way to another vet to drop him off when I called GoodVets and they squeezed me in that morning. They took such good care of him and the entire visit, meds included, cost less than just the exam at the ER. Clayton and Dr. O'Rear made me feel so secure when I really felt bad about my dog getting hurt, and put my boy on the road back to health. I could not recommend them more. I may even switch from my regular vet because they're open on Saturdays! You won't regret coming here.

I love everything about GoodVets! All of the staff is kind and friendly, the office is gorgeous, but most importantly the communication is amazing. The Vet was kind in offering her explanation on how I could better care for my pet. The nurse gave me a clear and detailed price breakdown before any services were rendered, and explained the cost differences and benefits between the different treatment options. The entire staff was so kind and gentle with my anxious clingy pup and I had zero concerns when they took her to the back to provide her care. I can not say enough nice things about this experience! If you're looking for a low stress environment where your pet is well cared for this is the place to come.

Trustworthy vets - Dr Josie is amazing and so is her team, Dr O’Rear and Dr Hendrix, as well as the caring vet techs and super helpful front desk team. They are always thorough with results and information. They give you a price for the recommended services BEFORE they’re done so you can consent and know what you’ll be paying when you check out. After a visit, they will personally call the next day or two to check on the status of your pet (even just for a regular shot!) Conveniently located in Germantown. Because they are a city vet, their prices are more than the farther out country vet we had been seeing. However, I know my dogs are in good hands.

I love all of the love and care my dog is shown every time she visits. The clinic feels so comfortable and non-clinical (ie no bright lights, lots of comfy earth tones), and she loves all the treats she gets. The staff are all so devoted to her progress and well-being. Everyone in the clinic, front desk, techs, and vets, are incredibly pleasant to work with and want you and your dog to feel taken care of. I have had no problems with getting timely appointments, even in emergencies. I also appreciate the candidness with which prices and treatment options are discussed; I really feel like she is getting the best options for care here.

Goodvets has been the best vet I've ever been to. My dog was bitten in the ear and it became infected and had to be drained. After draining it and getting him on antibiotics and pain medicine, I called back Goodvets the next day to let them know the ear was swollen with fluid again. They understood my concern and offered to have me back the next day to drain his ear with a tube at NO COST. Seriously where else will you find that level of compassion??? They have also been great with medication where other vets have tried to nickel and dime. Great bedside manner as well. I appreciate Goodvets more than they know!

The staff at the front desk, the nurse, and the vet were all so welcoming and friendly. The nurse, Clayton, was very sweet with my dog and did a great job at listening to me explain Lady’s medical history. Dr. Rachel was amazing, without a doubt the kindest and also most patient and thorough veterinarian I've ever met. She took a lot of time to answer all my questions and explained things to me in a way I could easily understand. I never felt rushed at any point in our visit. Overall, I am so happy that I chose Good Vets in Germantown as Lady's new vet.

The staff at Germantown GoodVets have been nothing short of incredible! They are constantly accommodating to my girl's needs and are so patient with her low confidence at the vet. Her vet behavior in the past has only been exacerbated by rushing the steps and rushing the appointment, but the staff at GoodVets are vigilant of her behavior, adapt techniques as needed, and are incredibly patient to ensure my pup is comfortable and confident! Slowly but surely, we are associating the vet as a positive place again thanks to the ladies at GoodVets!

GoodVets is an amazing addition to Germantown! I just took my dog to his first appointment and easily booked a spot online last night after hours. Staff was all super friendly and the vet tech and vet were both extremely thorough, personable, and explained everything and let me know cost before doing any treatment. I didn’t have to wait at all to be taken back to the exam room and there wasn’t any wait for the vet tech or vet either. Super impressed with everything. I’m so glad to have GoodVets in the neighborhood!

They recently were able to fit us in first thing for an emergency visit and I couldn't be more grateful. They go over treatment options and costs thoroughly and I never feel like they're running up the bill (which I have experienced before). Finding a great, trusted vet clinic is so important and I'm happy they're here. The best!

GoodVets provided a very welcoming and kind experience from the moment we walked in. They treated my cat with patience and care and provided me with a clear and concise explanation of what they were doing during the exam and explained several strategies for treatment. Everything was seemingly fair priced. The vet even tried finding the best possible ways of administering medicine to my very picky cat. I'm happy to have found a great vet clinic here in Nashville!

Dr. Hendrix for the win!! She has been so kind and caring during Arthur's puppyhood. She's listened to our concerns, triumphs and questions, and been there every step of the way with thoughtful answers and courses of action. Bailie and the front desk team are always so responsive, kind and caring as well. Oh, and the lobby and rooms are gorgeous; plus, they have toys for the puppies to play with and be distracted by during the visit. 10/10 recommend!

GoodVets in Germantown was a breath of fresh air after having a kind of traumatic experience at another vet office in Germantown. My dog has a complicated case, and they accepted me and provided guidance that I had been looking for, coupled with a lot of compassion and care. Highly recommend everyone to go here - wish I had my dog established here sooner. And to top it off, it’s really beautiful and clean inside too.

GoodVets Germantown has been nothing but great to myself and my dog. They’ve helped me get my dog through some really tough times and always show love towards her and treat her as if she was their own. If you need a vet in Nashville that will do anything to keep your animal healthy this is the one. They even called the Vet hospital to check in about how my dog was doing while she was admitted.

Awesome facility. Caring techs and vets, feels personal yet professional. Cat specific exam room which I loved; so often, cat owners can feel like a bit like an afterthought. The staff clearly loves animals and aren’t afraid to love on them! Exam itself was thorough and not rushed. Very smooth checkout, emailed records, etc. I'm moving, but will definitely be finding a GoodVets in Charleston.

Appreciated how knowledgeable, but personal and laid back the experience was! I have a high energy dog and the doctor and tech never made us feel badly that Laney girl can be a little much and allowed me to be involved. Grateful to be addressing concerns that will likely turn into longer term issues and creating a plan for Laney to live her best life! The communication and care were great.

This is a great place to bring your cat. They have a special room just for kitties that includes treats and toys. It really makes a difference, especially for my nervous kitty. My cats' doctors take the time to listen to our concerns and explain everything with clarity which also makes a huge difference to me. The clinic is always very clean. I'm so glad I found this place for my pets!

I did not make it to my appointment! I called the German toen location a really nice lady mentioned the gulch location and I said no thanx . And the parking there is terrible due to construction. Then I get a call back wanting me to go to the gulch this 1 time die to the dr...they only had 1 or some issue. I did not like that at all and I had just drove to my vet in hendersonville.

I’ve had nothing but the BEST experiences at GoodVets Germantown. Our former vet referred us here when they couldn’t fit us on the schedule for an emergency appointment, and I’m so glad they did! I love Goodvets Germantown. My pup Blue tends to be accident prone, and I'm a little dramatic and take her to the vet at the sign of any injury/issue. Most times I can get right in and all of the Drs. and other staff are beyond friendly and helpful. They are consistently available and always friendly on the phone or in person. Everyone is always wanting to help.

The staff at GoodVets were friendly and knowledgeable! I was able to make a last minute appointment to get my kitten seen after a night at the emergency vet. They were able to give more insight into my kitten's digestive issues and were very transparent about pricing before proceeding with x rays. They treated my kitten and I with such warmth and kindness!

Wonderful Veterinary Experience! Highly recommend Dr. Josie and her staff for veterinary care! My kitty Jasper will be in great hands for his dental and they have state of the art technology to help assure his safety and needs! Clayton her technician is FABULOUS!!! Their all feline room for examined was very comfy and my kitty loved it!!

I was extremely grateful for the professionalism and compassion of the staff when caring for my senior dog. From our first visit, everything was run efficiently with little wait time and the vet and techs were extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and attentive. It was one of the best veterinary practices I have been to/ worked with.

We had an amazing experience! Olive has loved her first two visits to GoodVets — they take such good care of her. :) It also helps that she gets plenty of treats along the way! As a first-time puppy owner, I was the nervous one at the vet, not my pup! Everyone from the receptionist to the vet tech to the actual veterinarian were extremely welcoming and kind. They answered all my questions and were clearly knowledgeable. My dog loved them, too, of course! On top of it all, they were very fairly priced.

I've been bringing my cat to the Germantown location since they opened. The team is friendly, takes great care of my pet. I plan to continue going to Germantown GoodVets for the foreseeable future. Parking can be tricky-they have limited parking in building with a paid lot next door.
