I was a little sad to see my spot Crabby bens gone but I decided to give this place a shot because it reminded me of the gyros I had bacc in my home City Tampa Fl. I have to say Gyro King has really surprised me with the quality of their food and how great their atmosphere and attitude is. Me and my fiancé have now became faithful customers and we even got my mom and kids hooked to them too. My mom is obsessed with their lemon pepper wings and cheese fries. My fiancé loves their shrimp. I’m very fond of their chicken salad and their wings. and THEY ACTUALLY SALE CUBAN SANWHICHES‼️ I lost it when I found this out because for months I was complaining to my fiancé how I couldn’t find a place in Jacksonville that sold Cuban sandwiches near me. I want to tell y'all something...they have BAKLAVA here that is so delicious! OMG. Their wings are some of the biggest that I've had in a while. They are cooked perfectly and are sauced so well, I almost forgot this was a gyro spot! Even the french fries were great! But let me get to the gyro...it was perfect! The meat was abundant and seasoned perfectly! I haven't had a gyro since they had that spot in the mall way back in the day. It was a huge sandwich packed full of meat! I will definitely order from here again! Also...to whoever is making the baklava, you are awesome and thank you!!

The name Gyro King says it all. The food was great. On my last visit, I went simple. I ordered the salad Gyro w lamb, and in true fashion, the meat was beautifully cooked and had an amazing flavor! The portion was enough that I could walk away w leftovers. The staff was all genuinely happy and helpful w only a slight language barrier (when they called the order out, not when ordering). I only gave them 3 stars for the atmosphere because the inside was outdated and in need of upgrades. But the atmosphere did not change the wonderful flavors of the meal and the friendly staff. It was really looking for a Gyros last week in town on business found this place is rated 4 and 1/2 Stars really not sure why got a Gyros plate with extra meat and they said fries or a salad I said fries came with rice and it was cold rice no tomatoes no onions and $17 for this food was just crazy I know prices have went up everywhere everybody's trying to stay in business but for ground beef and lamb mixed together served over cold rice and french fries probably two of the cheapest sides and extra meat I was expecting a little over a half pound maybe you know thinking a paid for it there wasn't even 8 oz won't be going

I ate yannis gyro for lunch, it was okay not like Chicago style. Chicago has the best that I've ever tasted. Well I decided to try gyro king for later after work. But changed my mind. Instead I drove to KFC taco bell. In drive thru line about 10 minutes before I was told cash only. I simply said okay thank you then drove away. Now I decided to try gyro king, but I don't want a gyro. I want to try lemon pepper chicken. It was hot the fries were hot the soda was perfect. I will be going back soon. Front counter girl was clueless of what type of restaurant this place is & what they serve. I asked for something with extra gyros meat so it could go onto my extra pita that I paid $1.08 for. I requested two whole pitas not to be cut up. Extra grilled onions, I didn't mine paying extra for what I asked for. But received none of requested things. Not even enough meat for one sandwich. Paid $12 for what??? This was my 1st time visiting after driving by 30-40 times. I am super disappointed being from Chicago where they put enough on one sandwich to make it into 2 for less than what I spent. Sad day for Chef L.D. Extremely sad

First time ordering from here. Went through the drive thru and ordered 3 gyro sandwiches. When we got home we opened the tray/box and we saw 3 chunky, warm filled with a very good amount of lamb meat with all the fixings and a good amount of tzatziki sauce. Well, we were absolutely satisfied with the flavor and amount of this sandwich. It was DELICIOUS we will definitely recommend Gyro King and we will definitely be back.

The food was delicious! I had the classic lamb gyro. Also got the fried okra, which was fabulius. The service was friendly and very efficient. The person taking my order had to pause because the phone was ringing, and I really appreciated that she put them on hold to finish taking my order. If you haven’t stopped by this place well...your missing out. Drive thru employee was super nice and patient with my order. It takes a little bit because they cook to order. The food is delicious and fresh. The fries are perfectly crispy. The cheesecake I got was soft, creamy, and amazing. The sweet tea is A-1 sweet tea. There are a lot more options I need to try when I come back. I would recommend this place to any of my friends for a late night craving since they close at Midnight.

Omgggggg my mom and I love this place we come twice a week sometimes. The mixed woman that work the front counter in the daytime has the best customer service I done seen in years. She so nice and knows our order well. I be having a bad day sometimes and she lights it up everytime. Food is so delicious. I am hooked on the lemon pepper wings and fries. I was looking for something new in the neighborhood and saw this restaurant listed on-line and read the prior positive customer reviews. I stopped by for a gyro and it was excellent. Even though I did takeout, the restaurant has a drive through and the restaurant is very clean inside for dining. It is a little pricey but the quality of the food makes it worth it. I will be looking forward to coming back.

I came here one random night a few months ago and have been stopping by at least once a week for some food. Gyro is good but my favorite so far is the Philly cheesesteak. My gf loves the fried mushrooms. I love love the chocolate cake. Recommend everyone to come to this place and try it out. They are open later which is awesome considering the time I get off work. Used to be a really good place to eat but I was extremely disappointed last night first they messed up my order wanted honey hot wings not hot wings... Then the fries where hot but hard like potato chips which means they probably got cold and were refried. The shrimp were GROSS and boneless wings were hard. Only thing decent was the philly but even that wasn't great. Won't be going back

Gyros were good, not great but good. Price was great when you get a special with it. I had calamari, wife had shrimp. Not much flavor in the breading but they give Ken's dressing with your food which is good dressing. Upgrade your fries, but check to make sure they remembered to, I forgot to and didn't get the cheese on mine. All in all, it was a good meal and I will be returning.

We had some pretty good food and fantastic service, the atmosphere is lacking a bit but overall it was good.

I have been a couple of times and I'm never disappointed. The food is fresh and inspected for perfection prior to it being given. The atmosphere is calm and the staff is extremely friendly. From what I understand they have regulars (people who come every day) yet every customer is treated the same. Im not one for salads but their salads are so good.

Found this spot by chance. Great customer service, very professional. Fresh & delicious food. Order cheese steak w/fries and a gyro with okra. Prices are decent and you will be full. Like that the food wasn’t greasy. They offer drive through and the wait was maybe 5 mins.

Placed an order today for the first time. They serve very good food with good size portions and the staff was friendly. I would never go here. The service is horrible and unfortunately they have no clue of Greek food but consider themselves a "Greek Gyro" constituents. Its a shame as they are very close to my house and would consider going there again. But after today's experience no. I will also express my experience to my neighbors and friends and fam.
