I went to McDonald's in River City Jacksonville, FL. I ordered curbside on the McDonald's app. After watching about 10 - 15 people going through the drive-thru in about 10 minutes I finally went inside the store. I was told they did not have a curbside order. I would need to get my phone and give them proof of my order. When I got back in the store with my phone I was told "Oh, they are working on it." I asked to speak to the person that told me they did not have a curbside order. I was told that the order had been put to the side and not completed so it was not on the board. I told him he needed to handle that because I have been waiting 20 minutes and my food show delivered 10 minutes ago. When I got my food it was cold. I had ordered two four piece chicken nuggets but I got a six piece box wit 6 pieces and a box that said four pieces but it was full of thousand Island dressing. (Nasty) I'm so mad I can't stand it.

Worst experience at a McDonald’s I ever had they tell u to used the machine to take ur order. After you do that you wait for another 10 minutes for them to take your money if you not using card. Then they don’t even look at your order to no to give you cups. And wait till you ask a employee if anyone’s bagging front counter orders. Then you get attitude from employees for trying to see why it’s taking so long when u have manger just standing around doing nothing. And she then sending employees on break when they have more then ten people waiting for food in front counter and the drive Thur wrapped around the building. Then gave me the wrong pies. You have employees with regular clothes on and employees with bonnets on they head like is this a work place at all. I WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER DOLLAR AT THIS LOCATION POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH POOR EMPLOYEES THAT CARELESS ABOUT HOW THEY DO THEY JOBS.

Literally the worst experience I've EVER had at a McDonald's. We waited over 5 minutes for someone to take our order and that only happened because we asked someone if they were taking orders (they were to busy talking to each other). Then we waited 30 minutes for 2 kids meals a couple but and a 10 piece nugget. Finally get our food and when I check my bag realize my order is wrong. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! We placed a order for 2 Large Fries, a 6 piece chicken nugget kids meal and 2 10 piece nuggets. We get home after patronizing another business in the same area and my daughter opens her food only to find one of the nuggets had been bitten off of. It was not broken but bitten off of. JUST UTTERLY NASTY AND DISGUSTING!!! I tried to call several times and you do not get a answer the only thing that happens is a loud beeping noise. I will not return to this location EVER Or any McDonalds at this point. Y'all have to do better with the customer service (although the young man in the window was very nice and pleasant) the wait was a bit long. I have never had such a bad expirence ar McDonald's. First the order Pods were not able to take payment. Which you didn't know until after you stood there putting your orders in. Then you had to wait in line to pay. After I paid I was told that 2 of the items I ordered were not available so I had to wait for a refund. Then 20 mins layer we got our meals. The 2 kids meals were missing apple slices and dipping sauce. My spicy deluxe chicken sandwich came out with only pickles on it, no sauce no nothing. It was so backed up we just ate what we got. Every customer had an issue with their order. People were even coming in from the drive through to get the orders fixed. And the resturant was dirty. Thank goodness someone left the cleaning supplies out so I could clean my own table off ,to sit and eat. Terrible experience. It's a shame.

10:38 pm- Thursday Night- Apparently this location can close arbitrarily , at any time they choose, with no concern for their hours of operation posted online or on the doors. They "close" at 11 so if it's 10pm or later...if they don't feel like working...they don't work. This has happened more than once and to me, that's a pattern. I am just warning the rest of the people out here so they don't count on getting something quick on their way home after a hard day of working or in our case, working and then helping someone move. The lights were on at the drive thru and rather than be McDonalds, they chose to use the speaker to say " we are closed". If you're going to close, shut off the lights and go home, Its that easy.

Ordered a 10 piece nugget meal and 2 kids cheese burger meals. I get home and the cheese burgers meals didn't have cheese burgers in them and my nuggets had cartilage in them. I go back to McDonald's they said because I ordered the food over 40 minutes ago they would not refund me or replace the food. I live almost 15 mins out of town and had to tend to groceries as well when I got home. The women who claimed to be the store manager named Emma. She was not apologetic and was smirking and laughing while she had 4 to 5 employees standing around while she was talking to me. I still purchased 2 cheese burgers to give my kids(even though I paid for them the first time and didn't get them the first time) that will be my last purchase from that McDonald's ever again!

Twice this restaurant has overcharged my bank account and I can't get my money back. I'm in a wheelchair and require assistance to get inside so I can't speak to anyone about the issues! I've tried calling but the phone number listed says it's disconnected when I call. I've gone to the drive thru to attempt to contact the manager and I still can't make it happen. I'm so disgusted by how I've been treated. This last visit I gave them a code for the free large fries that was a reward and they charged me for it. I didn't even know until I happened to look at my bank account for something else and saw the charge. That's when I tried to call the restaurant and it said the number is out of service. Ridiculous!!

Not sure what’s going on tonight (5/11/2023), but I sat in line from 9:40pm to 9:55, only to be told that they were closed. The hours online and on the doors show closing is at 11pm, so why were my self and several others told that the facility is closed over an hour early, but two cars remained in the drive thru? I pulled around to ask the young Asian woman at the window what was going on, and with an attitude she pulled out her phone, showed me the time (9:57pm) and stated that it was time for them to close….over an hour early…Two young black males peeked out from the kitchen area, as if they knew they were caught. If y’all close an hour early now, just update the store hours, please ? I was really hungry too.

Computerized system is NOT working at this location. We waited 20 minutes for 2 burgers. Six customers who placed their orders after us (we had already paid and gotten our drinks) received their order before us. We finally asked where our order was, the employee working the front had no idea. These were regular burgers- no specials. We were ready to ask for our money back and go somewhere else when miraculously our big Mac and quarter pounder with cheese showed up. Hopefully, the manager and corporate actually look at these reviews. My husband worked for McDonald's while going to college, he said the store he worked at would have been closed with service this BAD. For this to be double line ordering they were not very efficient. The order taker couldn’t seem to understand the order and then once I paid and went to the next window I had to wait more than 6 minutes for my food and then be told they were out of Diet Coke. In the end the food order had an extra egg of the side which wasn’t ordered and the chicken McMuffin was horrible; not sure where they are getting this new version of chicken from it the taste is not worth the eat. Took the chicken off and just ate the egg and McMuffin as a sandwich. At least they couldn’t screw up the pancakes and sausage.

When picking up for a online order we drove up the lady we gave the code to sounded like she wasn’t paying attention to what we were saying. We drove to the first window the lady was still distracted that she was telling us to pay for an order we already paid for. We got our food but didn’t get the sauce we requested so when we asked for buffalo sauce she gave us ONE. On top of that when we got home we were eating and my food was under cooked, LITERALLY DARK PINK. Normally with steak I don’t care but I don’t trust fast food places and I definitely think they should be making sure their food is cooked.

I visited this location at least 5 times; and each visit it got worst and worst. The first time I was waiting to order for at least 15 minutes, after my order was taken, I was waiting another 10 minutes to receive my food. The customer service was absolutely repellent. On my second visit I had a similar experience except this time when I ordered a double quarter pounder w/cheese large meal, I received a 10 piece McNuggets. When I addressed the problem the worker’s attitude was absolutely disgusting. The third time when I visited; I was waiting in line for almost a hour waiting to be serviced. The line only had about 5 cars. Absolutely terrible service. This location is absolutely dreadful. Wish I could give it negative stars.

Extremely slow service. Ordered a couple happy meals curbside. When I got there the drive thru line was wrapped around the building. After waiting 15 mins the drive thru line had completely emptied. We were the only ones waiting for a curbside order so I went in to see what was going on. My food was sitting there on the counter. Not sure how long it had been there. When I asked the employee if that was the curbside order they all seemed confused. After we established it was mine, I then had to prompt them to give it to me instead of continuing to just let it sit there. If I hadn’t come in who knows how much longer I would have sat there outside. This isn’t the first time this has happened at this location.

BBQ sauce, fries, sodas.. etc. UPDATE: Now their large drinks are 1.79 Today: The lady today who handed me my items didn't say one word to me... handed it off... and walked off.... I wasn't even sure I was done ‍♀️ I had to check my bags to make sure everything was in there so I could drive off. Saturday OCTOBER 15TH - 11:05 PM - place is EMPTY- no ones there ‍♀️ The drive thru looks open, screens on and everything... but drove around after sitting there for awhile being patient and store is empty with no workers or anything. PLEASE put up a sign out or shut your screen/lights off... ‍♀️

Don't do it...I just needed a quick bite because I was going to be on the road for 2 hours. Every time I go to McDonald's I say it's going to be the last time I do, they can't even stack a hamburger without it looking like it's falling over and I asked for extra pickles and they just stack them all in one spot instead of spreading them out. The service is never that friendly when you have kids serving you. I seriously don't know how they stay in business. And this location in Jacksonville put the nail in the coffin for me, I won't be back.

If I could give this good for nothing restaurant a zero I would. I placed a mobile order 25 minutes ago and have been sitting waiting on it. The doors are locked the driveway is full AND the number for the restaurant is NOT on the main Google page BUT I found what I thought was the number for it to NOT work! There are 20 plus cars waiting....people can't even get there food and they are trying to send us BACK through the line since the doors are locked and NO ONE IS bringing out the pickups! If I could give this place a negative rating I would! I waited over 30 minutes for one sandwich that they forgot to put in my bag. I told the young lady running orders about my missing sandwich. She rolled her eyes and went inside. I went inside to see why it was taking so long, she was standing in the corner surprised that I was still there. This is the worst McDonalds EVER. I don't even waste my time, money or energy at this place any more. I really can’t understand why their windows and doors aren’t boarded up and the place be out of business. Do yourself a favor and don't go there. Its disgusting and should be shut down. I wont even list the handle of repeat bad experiences that I had at this location. I’ve call the 800# posted on their drive thru window. No one calls back; no concern at all. It’s probably a cover up for some other way the owner makes money. I don't want anything for free. Would just like good food when I spent my hard earned money. But this aint the place.

Serving inside is less than expected however the food was hot and fresh. Repetitive confirmation is necessary when ordering. They didn't ask if we were eating in or leaving. He assumed we were leaving so there was no table service. Facility is very clean and comfy except for the hard plastic benches at the booth tables. If you're heavy, don't sit there or you gotta put your belly on the non movable tables set so close that thin short people have a hard time sitting there comfortably. Drive thru was moving quickly but again, it appears that the people inside are always put behind the drive thru's needs.

What McDonald's doesnt give a free refill? Forgive me if im being ridiculous but when you charge almost 3 dollars for soda, I would expect at least ONE free refill. Lady yelled from across the restaurant as if I was commiting an atrocious act. "Sir, SIR NO REFILL" I stood there dumbfounded and she then says "Buy another if you're thirsty." Rude as heck. Its one thing to not do the refill, its another to be rude about it. I hope yall close down.

If there is an afterlife, this McDonalds is already well on it's way to the 7th circle of hell. When it arrives, it will be rejected with the might of all that's unholy, due to extreme failure. I've complained to deaf ears for years and there seems to be no help in sight. Apple Pies that were prepared for space travel by sucking all moisture out of them, the never functioning Rube Goldberg Shake Machine, burnt Bic Macs, Big Macs with extreme amounts of sauce, and more. Visit this McDonalds at your own peril and may God have mercy on your soul.

Been quite a few times and I don't know why we keep coming back. It's usually pretty fast and close to home. Just left again though paid $18 and we ordered a drink and the lady gave us our food and told us to have a nice day and we asked for our drink and she said the machine isn't working and proceeded to have a stare down with us instead of offering us a refund or something else to take its place. We ended up driving off when she shut the window on us after saying again its broken. Honestly just rude and we don't plan on coming back.

Worst McDonalds I've ever been to. First, customer service leaves a lot to be desired. No smiles, no "thank you", no manners or respect. During our last visit, our large fry had less in it than our medium fry, the kids were shorted a toy and a juice box, and the drink carrier was fulling apart as they handed it to us through the window. It's also worth noting that even though this location advertises "24 hours" on Google, they are in fact closed around 9:30PM every night. Save your time and sanity and go to a different location.

Great job today! 11 months ago A 30 minute wait for burgers missing cheese, the typical "shake machine is down, or we're out of the mix" excuse, for which I was offered a sundae in exchange which ended up not even having toppings. The cash window lady was nice, but obviously quality is a consistent problem. You go several months to a year not patronizing the location, you hope it's gotta be different this time...nope.

This has always been the worse service. And yet I still go cause it’s closer to home. I would probably save time driving further away. The dining room has the food service area blocked where you can’t get the attention of any of the workers. If you ask for their attention cause you’ve waited 20 minutes for your food, they’re appalled you even attempted to bother them.

The food was regular McDonalds, but the time it took to prepare order was unbelievable. No special order, not particularly busy, and it took about 15 minutes to receive food Also, no offer to take our order, we had to ask( when someone reacted when spoken to) to place our order. We ask for a water cup, and no one really knew which cup to use. Management of this store need to do some intensive training. Mentioned this to a couple of other folks, and apparently this is normal for this McDonald's.

Literally stood and waited for 25 minutes after placing an order. It appears that no workers actually care about what their doing and have zero customer service skills. No please, no thank you, no apology. We also asked for no pickles on the hamburger because my daughter is allergic and what did they do? They put pickles on the hamburger. Avoid at all costs. Supposed to be open 24 hours yet at 9:44 pm as worked are way up to 3rd in line at drive thru suddenly all the lights went off. If you’re closing at 10pm then please change your Google page and take orders till 10, if 9:30 then fine post that and take customers till 9:30 don’t make people wait in line and shut the lights off on them! Cashier told me, "Merry Christmas... You should tip me, just for being here on Christmas". I told her I only had a debit card. She'd need a tip area on the receipt. She then sprinkled diced onions on the whipped cream, of my two chocolate shakes somhow? The manager had me come back for a replacement of my entire order. Thank you. I brought them back asap. But they had melted through the wipped cream. Luckily I took a nice high-def picture, while they were still fresh.

Wish I had read the reviews before visiting so I would have avoided. Ordered a Quarter pounder with cheese meal, completely inedible! The meat was raw and since I ordered through the drive thru and only noticed once I was back at my hotel I had to just throw it away. You're going to make people sick! Went by yesterday, bought 3 plain cheese burgers and a coke zero. I pulled onto 95 north headed to Savannah when I grabbed a burger out, the bread was burnt and the meat was cold. Customer service is terrible. They start by not saying anything at the speaker than when they do they just say "go head with yo order" I asked for no pickles on my meal and she ignored me so I repeated myself she didn't say anything just kept asking for the drink. I said did u hear me say no pickles she said "I'm TAKING the pickles off just order" I said nevermind and drove off.

My family went into McDonalds today for lunch. Going out to eat with a 5 year old and 1 year old twins can be a little stressful at times. Paris went absolutely above and beyond to make sure we were happy and taken care of and I’m so grateful for that. We’ll definitely be back to this location.

I ordered a sandwich and a frappe on the app and I gave them my code at the drive thru and they said “I only see a frappe on my end” I drove up to the window and proved to them that I had ordered a sandwich with my order and they said no. Waiting in line like 20 minutes to get to the speaker at the drive-thru then the girl says we're not taking customers right now. Still serving the ones in front of me just decided that I was the lucky one that they were no longer going to serve for a while don't know how long they closed down for. Hope you have better luck than I did.

Store closing at 10 pm the schedule time say 11 pm. The ignorant workers do not say anything to let customers know they closed early. Just communicate to customers. They laughing at me I wanted a drink. Communicate let the customers know so we will not be sitting in drive thru burning our gas.

Slowest and worst restaurant ever!! I never go her anymore because you sit in line for an hour no matter what time of day it is just to get the wrong order. I rather go down on N Main St there food is fresh and fast and the workers are nice!

Has anyone even tasted a McDonald’s milkshake?! “Ba da ba ba ba, the machine is broke.” Holy cow, and the receipt printer was broken so I couldn’t get a receipt. And then check out this pic of how the hot cakes came out to us. I’m surprised they bother opening at all and don’t just apologize for being broken all together.

Went to the drive through and once again nobody would answer my order, its advertised as a 24hr drive through but after 10 I never get service. I didn't see a single person inside available to take orders. If you don't have the drive through open put a sign up this happens way too often. I wish I could give negative stars

Came here on 3/19/21. I made a mistake and ordered the wrong thing. Of course me being a jerk was very rude about it. The cashier, customers, and manager. We very understanding and helpful. Helped resolve the issue instantly. I would recommend eating here anytime. Thank you all for your patience and understanding.

Not only were they Rude, they missed up my order and caught an attitude with me. I understand that working in fast food is a lot but at the end of the day, don't be rude to costumers, especially the ones who are being kind to you. Oh, and the fries didn't have any salt and they drowneddddd my burgers in ketchup.

Why list the hours “open 24hrs” when it’s not. Showed up right before 11pm, and there is no one in sight but the lights are left on, and there were people in the drive thru waiting to order. I know a lot of places are short staffed, but at least change the hours online. Or better yet, have some signs stating so.

Do not go here!!! They are rude… they do not make your orders correct and they will not replace your order after they messed it up even if you have not left the drive through!!!

An absolutely terrible place to order from. Two hours for a delivery from their own app. Been there in person sat in Drive Thru for 45 minutes. 75% of the time your order will be wrong 100% of the time. Customer service is not even a term in this place go down to the other one on Main Street.

Taking orders at the window would have been faster and more accurate. Extra long wait in line....14 cars I front of me at start then my order was wrong. Only thing correct was the large fries! Time to change!

Friendly staff and average wait time, but they were out of large cups and forgot both kids happy meals sauces and no napkins. But honestly it’s about what you would expect from McDonald’s and if I didn’t have two crying babies I would of remembered to double check before pulling off.

I was in the drive thru about 45 min to an hour. The staff eventually shared the power went out but as a courtesy for the wait I was offered absolutely nothing and the food was cold and french fries were grossly under cooked. Won't be returning.

Literally the worse ran McDonald's I think I've EVER been to. I've tried going after several months and there's always an issue. Weird that the card machines are always down at this location at night when I go to another McDonald's about 2 miles away and their always working...

Not my favorite place. They never seem to get orders right. The bog for $1.00 they still charged regular price till i pointed it out. But when your limited on break fast places at 6:30 am it will do in a pinch. Especially when you need coffee. Alot better than Circle K coffee.

Employees are either stoned or dont care. Made wrong drink. Food was prepared correctly to the menu, in a timely manner. The seats at this location seem to be intentionally designed to be the most uncomfortable possible.

Sat in line 1:05 pm get to drive though they ask about mobile order, I say no . They go silent, a minute passes. then a car pulls to the other order speaker . They take the order from that skipping me and I leave because that's about as disrespectful as it gets .
