I have been hesitating to leave this one star review. He could have got two stars. I showed him a picture of straight layered mid-length hair style. He did such a terrible job. It was honestly the worst haircut in my life. The layers were patchy and looked like my hair was bitten by animals. It was anything but the picture I showed him. He knew he screw up. He proceeded with curling my hair without asking me. Again the picture I showed him was straight hair. I’m not exaggerating. I literally made another haircut appointment with an authentic Japanese hairdresser immediately after I received the terrible haircut from him. I was depressed about it for two weeks until it was fixed. I do not believe he trained in Japan. His technique exactly resembles the one you would see at Supercut.

Sho transformed my hair from dark & dull to bright, light, and airy! I am amazed with how beautiful the ash brown color turned out without any bleaching, especially since I have dark hair. Watching him cut my hair was mesmerizing too... He is so skillful and in his element... It's like watching a hummingbird fly swiftly and elegantly without effort... His studio salon is super clean and welcoming, and most of all, his friendlessness made my whole experience very enjoyable =) I can't wait to recommend to all of my family and friends! Already looking forward to my next visit =)

My husband and I are a regular here. We have been having our haircut and hair dye by Sho for mostly 4 years now. Sho is very friendly, polite and professional! I love my haircut everytime. At times, I tell him what I want and he gets it done or sometimes let him do what he thinks would look good and it does looks great! His studio is clean, organized, cozy and very professional! We talk a lot of stuff including animes, games, movies and even restaurant recommendations around the area and they turn out to be really good. ❤️

Unfortunately the perm didn't stick, but it never really does with my hair unless it's a digital perm. Just thought I'd try it out again. Don't care though, the cut is still super cute and I love it!! Almost wishing I needed another haircut so I can go back.

Sho gave me exactly what I was looking for! I wanted to find a stylist in the city who was experienced working with Asian hair and I found Sho through Google Maps. I asked for curtain bangs and also highlights and he was very informative in letting me know what the process would be like. He was also super friendly and the service was amazing! Highly recommend!!

I found this salon through google maps. I had a trim haircut and toning. The place is clean and cute. Sho is kind, friendly, and polite. He even recommended some good food places to try and it did not disappoint! I wish I could bring him to Illinois. I would love to have him do my hair again when I visit SF.

I got a recommendation from a friend that Sean(Sho) was a great option for a cut and style for my long Asian hair. The space was clean and comfortable. The space is very chill and great value. My wife got a cut, dye and style. Super reasonable for what we got done. Definitely coming back!
