Terrible experience. Purchased my wedding band from here and the night of the wedding/first time wearing the ring, lost two of the diamonds. Left straight for our honeymoon the following day so I wasn’t even able to wear my brand new wedding band on our honeymoon. When I returned, I brought the band in to have it fixed and the only experience continued to get more terrible. The Assistant Manager (not sure of her name but she made sure to tell me she was the Assistant Manager) tried to tell me this was normal and expected with wear and tear. Reminder, I wore this ring less than 24 hours. I don’t think she even apologized once. She told me they could easily fix the diamonds and to come back in 15 minutes. When I come back to pick up the ring, someone else is helping me, and I realize the new diamonds that have been replaced are not the same size or flush with the other diamonds on the band. They take it back and tell me again, come back in 15 mins. I come back, literally nothing has changed and the band looks the same. The Assistant Manager steps back in and has the audacity to tell me it’s normal for the diamonds not to be flush when they have been replaced. I tell her that I want the ring to look how it did when I bought it seeing as I haven’t even gotten to wear it. She continues to argue with me saying “I’m the only person who will notice” .. excuse me? I’m the person who bought the ring and am the only opinion that matters in this situation because I’m the one wearing it! I ask to talk to her manager who of course isn’t there but she says I can call the corporate office. I now leave and call corporate who thankfully was much more apologetic and understanding. They apologized multiple times that I couldn’t wear my ring and said it’s not normal at all for the diamonds not to be flush, especially since mine has prongs and can snag/catch on clothing, fabric, etc. and ultimately cause more wear and tear. They offered to send me a return label to mail in to the corporate office and have fixed there. I was happy with this resolution because I don’t trust anyone at the local location. However, I will again go another month or so without my wedding band while they fix what should have never happened in the first place. 1000% do not recommend, wouldn’t make another purchase from here. *** Note, the solitaire pictured was NOT purchased from Helzberg ***

Shopping here was by far the worst experience I have had when actually looking to make a purchase. I originally came in to get a ring cleaned and Kristen helped me out and showed me a couple of rings and was just fine. However, when I came in with my fiancé I was greeted by Clarissa and it was instantly a high pressure sales attempt. She failed to listen to anything that we asked and would not help us out with any customization of the rings or designs even though this is a service they offer because they wanted an immediate sale. She continued to tell us things couldn’t be done and that we were wrong when other associates had said differently. When we said we probably wouldn’t be purchasing today but would like to see diamonds we got dumped on another sales rep Terese who was just as pushy or worse. She continued to show us diamonds outside of our price range and asking us if we were going to buy today and financing plans even though i had explained that we were looking. We tried asking her about customizing a ring and she said it could be done but would take a month or two which we said was fine, but she wouldn’t discuss this option any more besides that because she wanted to get us out the door that day with a ring. My fiancé asked if they could do a ring they had in rose gold, which is possible, and was immediately asked if she actually wanted it or just because it was “trendy” because she wanted to sell what was on stock. In conclusion I would not purchase from here or even bother going into this location. The customer service is terrible. If you do go it is your best interest to go when it is dead as possible so they will not be worried about selling to someone else. The plus side their rings are very beautiful. Maybe check out a different location if you like the ring or just have it custom made somewhere else ( almost any jewelry store will offer you this service )

I used to not have a problem here until recently. The last 3 visits have been pretty annoying. I go every 6 mths to get my jewelry cleaned and inspected because I live an hour and thirty mins from here so I just make it a shopping day. Each time I have gone the last three times, they act annoyed as if they don’t want to help me. I had my ring fixed back in November of 2021 and had to go pick it up once ready. I personally signed off on the card they make you sign when you get the jewelry sent off but when I went to go pick up, the guy there told me I couldn’t pick it up because I wasn’t listed on the account. But yet I dropped my ring off AND signed off on the card and he even pointed at the signature thinking it wasn’t me. Again I’ve never had an issue picking up my jewelry in the past 3 years. They had to call the account holder to allow for pickup. On saturday, I had my rings and a necklace cleaned and inspected. They lady didn’t seem friendly and we had issues getting an inspection card for the necklace because I didn’t know what name the purchase was under. It could’ve been from three different names, which the one it was under was not the one I thought it was under. The blonde lady helping seemed annoyed she couldn’t find it and another lady ended up helping who was nice but I dread coming here. I don’t know if it’s because they may think I don’t have money or what they’re thinking but I feel like they look down upon me and treat me differently until they pull up the accounts for purchase, that’s when the attitude changes. Disappointing. Really considering taking my business elsewhere if something doesn’t change.

I have bought jewelry from Helzberg before and my experience last week was bizarre. Firstly, the woman working the floor insulted me twice while looking for an engagement ring with my partner. She asked my girl friend if she was sure she wanted a ring in a very condescending way. Then, a little while later somebody else in the store was being loud and she said that I sounded like that person. Just a very strange comment and rude all around. The store manager was also didn't provide the greatest service. She took us to the back to look at the ring we liked closer. From there it just seemed she was motivated for a sale and was not sensitive to the fact that purchasing an engagement ring is a very special moment for a very special life changing event. She offered me a 10% discount for military service which I felt was wrong since I never told her i was associated with the military. I am actually a veteran and thing that it is wrong to extend a military discount to the general public. The rings were gorgeous, and the service was pitiful. They should realize that many times people are buying jewelry for very special occasions. The service I revieved made it feel as if they could care less. It kind of put a blemish on a potentially special trip to Helzberg.

After finding the right ring to match my wife’s wedding band, we purchased it unbeknownst to us a couple days before the mall was to close due to Covid. After several unanswered phone calls and unreturned emails, we don’t know know where my ring is that was ‘sent out’ to be resized. The mall reopened and website says they are open, only to drive 45 minutes, find the location in the middle of the mall to find that the store is still not open. Signs say closed indefinitely. Now I understand how things are a different norm during the pandemic, but does common courtesy and professionalism now have a different norm? We have purchased several pieces from Helzberg in the past, but due to the lack of communication in leaving multiple phone calls unanswered, multiple emails left in returned, and a website that doesn’t address current situations will have us spend our money elsewhere. Very disappointed in not having the ring we bought two months ago just disappear, along with no way of tracking it down.

In all honesty, the shopping experience was pretty bad here. I had gone in with the intent to purchase an engagement ring. I had a ball cap, t shirt and jeans on. Was trying to get assistance with one of the sales, by his facial expression and body language I could tell he didn't want to assist me, was pretty rude too. So he let one of the newer sales help me out. Shortly I was in one of the cubicles going over diamond specifications, clarity, color, etc ,. After that I was asked how I was going to finance, I have a good salary and additionally saved for the ring so I was going to pay cash. The sales women stepped out, then that same guy came in trying to be nice and pressure me into a Helzberg credit card. Just gave me the vibe that he thought I had no money to being with. Was pretty upset but was cordial as I declined and decided to walk out of there. I took the escalator down stairs and purchased a ring at zales where they were nice and treated me like a human being .

First off let me say that I am beyond disappointed in this company. My fiancé purchased my engagement ring from here and so I decided to attempt to finance a watch here. I opened up with my credit score and the fact that I’m in the process of repairing my credit and the woman told me their are many options for financing and not to worry. I did not get approved which is fine. I asked the rep Shedara what are the other options that the previous rep mentioned she said verbatim “I don’t know you will have to ask her”. I stood there as 4 reps looked at me and did not attempt to help me. The first rep was busy and was very helpful. The moment that I was not approved for their line of credit I became disposable and I think that’s a horrible way to do business. Whether I’m spending 200 or 20k you should never assume. On a better note I went over to Kay Jewelers and I was treated exceptionally and I will tell anyone who asks to not got to Helzberg.

Store employees are polite only if you are planning to make a huge $$$ purchase. The first time I went, I was shopping for a diamond ring and the lady was super nice, spent a lot of time talking to me and recommended putting a ring on hold for $450, so that I can take my time to think about it and shop around. She insisted there was no pressure to actually purchase it, and that it was only a safety move so I could lock its price. About a week later I went back to cancel the hold since I found a diamond I liked elsewhere. However, I still wanted to buy the ring setting from them. Their behavior did a complete 180 and they made it very obvious that they are not interested in answering any of my questions about the ring setting or helping me in purchasing it. They just kept trying to get away from talking to me. The instant change in behavior was pretty obvious and they made no attempt to even conceal that.

Granted, my first marriage didn't work out, but I know where I always want to go, anytime I need a piece of jewelry! While I was ring shopping, I had been feeling lack of service elsewhere, until I met Bill! Very professional, very enthusiastic for my decision to propose, & helped me in the buying process. Told me how to pick out a ring, make my own from scratch, sizing & all, this band, that diamond, this holder, the works. I made my purchase from him, Helzberg has a great financing card! Makes sense I bought the band from him, my band, a present for my mother in law, Christmas earrings, & so on. That marriage didn't work! But now that my life has moved on, I still turned to Bill & his staff! Helpful, caring, knowledgeable, fair prices, financing, and I always feel like a VIP!

I wanted a matte black wedding ring. They did not have it. They showed me one online and said that it was the color i wanted. The ring came in and it was too big and grey. They said they can resize it but will not return the ring even though it is not the black color i wanted. Make sure if you go to this store not to order anything online. If it is over a size 7 which is bigger than most men's pinky finger they will call it custom therefore will not return it. They did not mention one time that this was custom and not returnable. If they had mentioned it i would never have ordered it online. $600 dollars in the trash, bit im sure they are ok with that. Thanks alot for the horrible experience helzberg barton creek management

I purchase a chain and cross set with a protection plan. I brought it in cuz the chain broke and I needed it fixed or replaced. The lady was very rude and told me that I needed to purchase a stronger chain cuz this one was going to keep breaking. I told her no I have the protection plan. She spoke to another lady and she told her to give me another chain. Again she said I needed to purchase a different chain because it was going to break again. I didn't appreciate her pushing me to purchase another chain. The reason I purchased the protection plan was so if anything happened to it I would be under protection. I've purchased several pieces of jewelry here and never had any problems. Will not be coming back to this helzberg.

My fiancee and I came in here to pick out a wedding enhancer band after shopping at several places. During our experience here we work with two different sales ladies. Both were very knowledgeable and professional however Angelica was a rockstar. She went above and beyond to make sure that all of our wants and needs were met. In addition Angelica was very clear about what we can expect for timelines, warranties and their protection plan. The only disappointment that I had today was that I could not find a men's band that I like because I would like to give all my jewelry business to them and specifically Angelica. Thank you for making this process enjoyable and making sure we left with the best ring our budget would allow.

My husband and I purchased a ring on March 17th. Due to the size, we were asked to come back to pick it up in a week. A few days later, we found out via the news that the mall temporarily closed down due to COVID-19/stay-at-home order. Unable to reach anyone at Helzberg via phone regarding the status of the ring and what this means for us, we found very broad answers on their website. Now that the mall has re-open, the store is still closed. I can understand the situation that we are all in, but I feel they can do better to reassure us that OUR ring that we’ve already purchase is safe until they can safely reopen their doors. Not once have we heard from Helzberg to reassure us that item is safe.

Great Customer Service!!! I am new to Texas from NYC and I am looking for an engagement ring. As you know there are MANY places that try to "sell you off" or "get you the best deal". I was helped by CORA at this Location and she was EXTREMELY HELPFUL and WELL EDUCATED about the diamonds and the company. She took her time to hear the needs of my girlfriend's " dream ring" and did not rush at all. I loved it here as well because there was no stereotyping of what I possibly can spend since I look young but people don't know I am a doctor not that that needs to be said. I 100% would recommend meeting with Cora for help and getting you diamonds here because you will not be disappointed.

My fiance and I picked out our bridal set at the Barton Creek location in mid May. Everything had to be sent off to be sized which I totally understand. All in all, merchandise was not ready at time promised. When we called to inquire about products that we had ALREADY paid for, we encountered a very rude, non-chalant person on the other end of the phone who promised to find out what the hold up was. She failed to call us back, and we again had to call. As far as customer service, this play is way below par, and that alone will make us go elsewhere in the future.

My fiancé and I bought our rings from this location at the Barton creek mall yesterday and we had a great experience. The gal we worked with was very accommodating and allowed us plenty of time and space to make decisions. She wasn’t pushy at all and I could tell that she really wanted to make sure we got something in our price range that we would love. Today I picked up my ring as it had to be sized and they went above and beyond to make sure it would be ready for me before I had to leave town for the week. I would absolutely recommend this place!

If I could give no stars I would I was told that the ring I purchased had a lifetime warranty on cleaning of the ring and find out that when my wife went to go get it cleaned they spent five minutes on it and told her to “clean the rest off with a toothbrush at home”. Very unprofessional and inexcusable and the worker saying this had a face that was like please leave my store and was very uninterested in helping my wife whatsoever. Hopefully it wasn’t a race thing because then we will have an issue.

Everyone was super friendly, very attentive, and wanted to make the purchasing of my engagement ring special. Helped me pick a beautiful ring for a great price. Even stayed open late for me when I had to run to the bank to get all the cash. On top of it all got to pick up my ring the day before we left for a trip that I proposed on. An absolute wonderful experience would highly recommend if your looking for quality and a great customer experience.

A little disappointed on how they handle pick ups. I run a business and I can't just be running back and forth to the mall in hopes that my rings will be ready. My ticket had only date but no time. I'm expecting that my jewelry would be ready when the store opens that date. If that is not how y'all work then please take a phone number down during the transaction, NOT AFTER. So I suppose I'll just wait around for a phone call.

My boyfriend and I went in to pick out an engagement ring. This was not the first store we visited but it was the only store that treated us well. The sales associate was really helpful. She suggested other options and made sure that I was in love with my ring. I get compliments on it all the time, and the price - OMG what a deal ! The financing options they offer are really great. The only reason they get a star is cause I have to leave one. We were shopping for a ring and the attendants were sweet until we advised them that we would like to shop around before making a purchase. The energy turned negative real quick. Needless to say as we exited the sales rep hardly acknowledged us when we said bye. We still bought a ring that evening but thankfully not from them.

Make sure that you dont order anything off a screen in their store. Once the put custom on the order you will not get your money back if you want to return. Even if the reason for the return is that the item is not the same as what was purchased on the screen. Not a big fan of fine jewelry, I prefer Kendra Scott, however, for special occasions this store does have a nice variety of beautiful fine jewelry. The warranty program is nice if you ever have a problem with a piece.
