NEvER EvER AGAIN !!! * DO NOT USE THESE RIP OFFS * I hired a truck on Saturday 7-10-23 from Regency Park. First impressions were not great. The booking process was slow and disorganised. Even though I had booked the vehicle nearly a week in advance. I did not receive a confirmation email of the booking as promised. Nor did I receive a receipt. The truck smelt mouldy. The drivers seat was extremely dirty , tattered and torn. The mirrors were dirty and difficult to see out of. Upon arriving home I parked the truck out the front and went inside briefly to retrieve an item of furniture to load onto the truck. Upon return , I noticed a big puddle of diesel underneath the truck. ( see photo ) So I went around to the passenger side and noticed fuel and Ad Blue had sprayed all along the side of the truck and also noticed fuel dripping from the fuel cap. ( clearly it had been overfilled and the fuel cap was faulty also. ) I proceeded to load up and went on my way to my destination. Upon arrival I attempted to open the tailgate to unload and it wouldn’t open as the rear seals on the pantech were severely worn and almost non existent. Therefore the tailgate had wedged itself inside the rear of the truck. So my son had to climb in through the side door and forcefully hip and shoulder the tailgate from inside while I operated the control just to get it to open. The following morning I called into the service station on the way to drop the truck off. I filled the tank but was mindful not to fill the throat of the tank due to the previous spillages. When I returned the truck to Hertz , ( which was 3 or 4 km from where I had filled up ) the guy came out to do a vehicle inspection. He gave it a once over then hopped in the cab. Then proceeded to tell me I hadn’t filled it all the way. As the needle was slightly above the F when I took it and now it was at the top of the F. I explained I had filled it up but didn’t want to overfill it due to the leak. ( ironically I was standing in a puddle of diesel that was leaking from the truck adjacent to the one I had just returned ) The guy didn’t want to hear a word I had to say. He was extremely arrogant and rude then proceeded to walk back into the office while I was trying to talk to him. The whole time muttering they would be checking the fuel level and charging me extra. I decided to walk away at that point as I was needless to say not very happy. Well several days later I received my deposit back into my account. ( which has not cleared yet and is still pending ) Minus $12.10 which I can only assume was a fuel charge. Which actually equates to approximately 3 litres at their outrageously over inflated charge of $3.50 a litre. To be completely honest I couldn’t care less about $12.10. But it is the principle of being treated so poorly and essentially being ripped off. SO TAKE NOTE HERTZ. Enjoy your $12.10 as you will never get my business ever again. I have also group text all my family and friends , group emailed my extensive network of work colleagues and contacts imploring them to never use Hertz. Oh and I will also be contacting the Environmental Protection Agency to report you for leaking diesel all over Adelaide.

Terrable service, no care or empathy at all from the manager on duty. We had a booking which we phone ahead of time to advise them wewould be late, we called the Hertz call centre they said they had spoken to the regency park staff to let them know we were coming. We arrived at 4:59pm. My wife was hit buy a teuck 2 weeks ago and isn't confident driving down a main highyway yet wo I had to go down after work. Admittedly they close at 5pm but as we drove in the gate the staff were already leaving to get into their cars! 5pm is the close of business right? So that means you start counting tills and closing up at 5pm, not 4:45pm or 4:50pm.. we travelled from the Barossa, which is close to an hour away and were greated with apsalute disregard and lack of empathy. The staff were more concerned about leaving early than helping a family out. Very disappointed, I will never go with regency park again! Hertz is a great company but your staff need to be moved on to non customer service roles or retrained to have an ounce of care for their customers.

Place is clean as always. Truck was clean and the price of the truck is a good price. The customer service when we arrived was the worst I have seen. The lady was rude, quick and made you feel that you were burding her when we were there. No walk around before we left like all other times and not refresher on the truck, just keys in the truck. Today when we dropped off the truck the lady was awesome as ever. Great customer service, great interpersonal skills.

Not good, I changed a faulty car to get another faulty car. Rear passenger door child lock stuck on so can not open for from inside. I would have thought they would have up graded me after the first faulty car. Also, they are so heavily booked that there are limited options for replacement car. Like the airlines, they overbook and have no spare cars as a contingency for problems. No benefits for being a five star member. May try avis next time.

I was pretty disappointed with this service. I booked a truck online for a 10am pick up, they emailed and asked if I could pick up at 11am. I arrived to be told the truck wouldn't be available until 3pm. Still have it back by 8am the next day. Got told to just leave the keys and they would sort everything. Apparently I will get my deposit back in about a week but no offer of compensation for the 4 hour shortfall

A male staff named Michael or Michell is absolutely disgusting. Hung up on me because he had difficulty to understand me, and deliberately lied about the information I was asking for. Where did the management at this place find this clown? Fleamarket? No wonder they have such poor review. With such poor management and obviously unqualified staff I'm really curious how this place hasn't shut down yet.

Having to hire a mini bus for a group wine tour, we found the whole process to be a simple yet thorough experience. From the simplicity of booking the mini bus to picking up and getting the bus inspected for our benefit at the beginning, to returning the bus and having no issues. We would have no hesitation in returning to Hertz for any further hire car or bus needs.

Someones done a awesome job recruiting the staff at this Regency park hertz, they do everything in there power to get you exactly what your after and will highly recommend them very professional On the other hand I wish I could be transferred to this store directly when I ring up and not someone a state away with no idea what's going on In sunny adelaide

The crew at Recency are fantastic. Go see Jordan and he will look after you. Extremely affordable. I have been renting their small truck which you can drive on a car license. It's more affordable to hire the truck for 24hours as opposed to rent a large trailer for 4 hours. Love it. Good work crew.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. you will be financially punished for using them. They have a "policy" where they put a hold on your money for the cost of the hire plus the bond for a week and then on top of that charge you the hire. I

Staff were good. Stung me for 48$ worth of fuel going into a tank I'd just filled up. I did 94km, put 15$ into it, drove 4km to their yard. Then somehow it takes another 10l? Sure.
