AF23 XWC I am writing this review regarding a Porsche turbo s I had hired and went shockingly wrong. The car has a major issue and has a hazard warning light on no reverse gear I have pictures and evidence On arrival the staff were extremely rude and did not at anytime show kindness or professionalism I was heading to a family wedding so was in a rush I also had my son who has autism I paid £7,500 deposit and £2,380 for a 4 day hire When I inspected the car I was happy when getting into the car and starting it the warnings came up I got scared as it’s a £200,000 plus car and I was worried it’s saying no reverse gear I told the gentlemen of the issue he said it’s a sensor and we are aware of it and the issue it has I said I am sorry but my journey is to Birmingham and I have children my son has autism so I can’t take the risk of a car braking down on me at a wedding also the fact it’s a £200k car with faults keep coming up I am paying nearly £10,000 pound this can lead to other issue with the car engine and gearbox and it’s giving out warnings I was faced with rude staff who then continued to cause me issues and made me scared and nervous everything was as I am in a scrap yard I then was not given any car and left with out of pocket of £10,000 untill be my refund came also no car was offered to me. I wrote a complaint to hertz dream collection who responded in a ride manner trying to change subject Blaming my son for disturbing when he has autism I am shocked with the response They also said I was offered a replacement car no replacement was given they said a sl55 amg was a option given to me but when I was there the sl55 amg went out to another customer before my issue happen This is on cctv Please guys especially us business men who hire cars and pay big money be careful of these dangerous con people who lie and lie About everything Film the cars don’t drive any car which has hazard warning on dash as this will impact your deposit and they will not give in writing that the warning lights are on but will blame you for any issues Moving on to the staff very very rude and unprofessional no smiles no happy faces just angry and don’t listen to a customer who’s spending thousands S Nisar
A most disappointing experience! I have hired a luxury Range Rover Sport HST for 4 weeks and prior to that a Range Rover Autobiography. Ive so far spent in excess of £7,000 in hire charges. At the time of writing, I'm still in this hire car. I have had the displeasure of dealing with Ian Highland. I am leaving this negative review because amongst other things, he has taken an unauthorised payment on my credit card. This action by him has broken multiple protocols. Ive paid everything that has been invoiced. He's messed up a calculation by £70, won’t own up to his mess up and has just taken the payment anyway. I am now disputing this through my card provider. Putting this aside, it has not been an enjoyable experience, despite spending thousands with Hertz. This is supposed to be the “dream collection” and you'd expect customer service to match. Sadly I have not been impressed. I have had problems including:- I swapped vehicles and Ian forgot to tell me the car wasn’t at Heathrow but at Bayswater, wasting hours of my time by sending me to the wrong destination with my young children. I found a tear in a tyre shortly after leaving their premises that was dangerous to me and my children. I demanded I get reimbursed for replacing the tyre. This wasted hours of my time. He has messed up his figures and taken an unauthorised payment on my credit card for £70 against my instructions. His telephone manner comes across as rushed all the time, rude and unhelpful. This is not what I would expect when having a hire costing thousands. I will be making a formal complaint to Hertz UK as a dissatisfied customer. It appears I am not the only one dissatisfied, looking at other negative reviews.......
There’s a reason for all the negative reviews being 1 star. Hertz Dream Collection maybe all flashy and kind on the outside if the car you rent has no problem when you return it, but beware if there’s a dent or a broken glass they will take your entire deposit and make up a fake invoice for you to see! In my case it’s a clean dent on the side door with absolutely no damage to the paint but they insist rather than fixing the dent the entire door must be replaced hence a dent on the door costs me the entire $3000 pounds security deposit! Also, the full payment on the rent plus the entire security deposit will be cleared and taken away from you 4 days prior to the end of the service contract! You start to wonder if it’s worth the risk to rent cars from Hertz Dream Collection (City Inter-rent is their actual company) and face extreme excessive charges on very common damages that could be settled with much less money. Please also read the reviews on their main website and you’ll see there are many cases similar to mine. These cases are similar to mine in that Hertz Dream Collection charges insane amounts of money on common damages to the cars they rent. Please beware!!!
Hired a Mercedes LWB 9 seater mini-bus from these guys. Travelled to Bayswater to collect, was ready waiting for me, just a show of relevant documents, and I was off . Originally hired for 5 days but extended it a further day with no problem. Returned the evening before the day it was due back which was at 8:00am,didnt want the early drive into London after a busy week, this again, was also not a problem . Mini bus inspection and I was away, again no problem. My deposit was returned within a few days, like promised. Great service from nice staff ,nice tidy and clean motor. Would recommend this company . I will use them again.
City Inter Rent are in a fantastic, central london location. They had a fantastic selection of cars ranging from luxury SUV's like a Range Rover to exotic cars by Ferrari and Lamborghini. I rented a Range Rover Autobiography for my family for a week. It was delivered to our hotel in immaculate condition and on time. The person who delivered it was immaculately dressed and incredibly polite and helpful. He took 15 minutes to take me through the car. No questions I asked were too much for him. My company will now be using City Inter Rent for all our prestige car needs. I would have no hesitation recommending them.
I usually don’t leave review’s but I just had to with this one as I literally just dropped off the vehicle a Range Rover Sports HST . From start to finish I can say the whole experience with Hertz Dream Collection has been fantastic and the staff’s are well experienced especially the person I dealt with Krzystof, I can say he is a fantastic guy and thumbs up to Ian and Sumit as well for arranging the last minute rental for me especially on a bank holiday. I can proudly say that I will be back for more Rentals. With Hertz Dream Collection you are safe. Genuine review
Rented an Urus for a video project. One of the rear window got smashed whilst the car was park on the street during my rental. Had to pay 5 days “loss of use” (£900 per day) while the window was getting repaired. The window only costs £277 to replace but had to pay £4500 for 5 days of “loss of use” which I find is extremely cruel and unfair. Both myself and the company are victims of crime but I’m left to cover the losses all by myself. I think it would be fair to charge me 1 or even 2 days “loss of use” but 5 days for just a window is just unreasonable and unfair.
I rented a Supercar from Hertz Luxury Collection for 2 days. Car was in pristine condition when I collected the Car from their office at Bayswater, London. When I returned the car to them, I accidentally left my phone in the centre console of the car. I dropped their office an email. Ian, one of their staff, got back to and informed he will check the following day. He found the phone and his team got FedEx to send my phone to my residence in Singapore. I got back my phone in less than 48 hours. I thank them for their professionalism and excellent customer service.
Ian and the team are great and very helpful, I used this company twice now and every time i got a exceptional service, I have rented out Range Rover sport, Audi Q7 and Mercedes e class all of there vehicles are clean and ready to go. Million time better then Enterprise and all other prestige company, Especially Enterprise last minute they call me and cancel a vehicle I wanted which I booked two weeks in advance DEFINITELY WILL GO BACK AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND IF YOU WANT A PRESTIGE CAR
CROOKS ! I have booked a Mercedes V-Klass. After few days I received an email that is a problem with their system and I have to do the booking again. I have tried to make the booking again but the price was 1000 instead 700 so I did book somewhere else. After this, in the day of rental they charged my credit card !!! I did complain to my bank credit card, they contacted their bank and their bank replied that they charged the full rental amount due to no show !!!
We rented our car from the Dream Collection at Hertz Heathrow. The experience was a very good one and the staff super helpful and communicative from the reservation stage. Vehicle collection was very efficient, the car was spotlessly clean and the vehicle check very thorough. Care return was fast and smooth and the deposit money was released immediately after the car return. Would definitely recommend Hertz, particularly the Dream Collection for a treat!
Friendly and knowledgeable crew, lots of nice cars, convenient location (outside congestion zone). They don't try to rip you off on your deposit (unlike some other luxury car rentals), only charge you for damages you caused, not pre-existing ones. Have used them three times now, renting Porsche Cayanne, RR Sport and Maserati Levante. Car is clean and smoke free, everything works. Will rent from Dream Cars again
Fantastic customer service and a great place to rent from. Staff were very polite and able to handle both the pick-up and drop-off in 10 minutes. Bayswater location is easy to get to and they have a wide selection of luxury and performance cars. As my first selection was unavailable, they offered me a brand new and never driven before car as a replacement. Highly recommended and will be back again very soon.
I have taken a car from the Hertz Prestige collection on a number of occasion and the service that i get from the time of requesting a booking to returning it and any changes in between has always been great. The person i usually deal with Sumit provides a great service, be that on the phone or in person, always makes himself available and does his utmost to ensure that i get the car that i want and request.
I have used the dream collection on a number of occasions, and they always deliver beyond expectations. If they dont have the car in stock, then they have always provided me with an great alternative and allowed for the extra and days I have needed the car at last minutes notice. The staff know their stuff, polite, very professional and the cars are always clean and look stunning. Big fan of these guys!
Brilliant service from start to finish. We hired the Porsche Cayenne for our business for a launch of a new product. The team were thorough and prompt. The only negative was that the car already had some marks and dents around it (which I appreciate can't always be helped). We will definitely be hiring again, only next time hopefully their other cars are in better condition.

Want to hire a car from Hertz Dream Collection? Think again! Hired a Range Rover SVR from these guys who i thought were reputable company however that surely wasn't the case, firstly it hasn't been covid cleaned, had it been covid cleaned then there wouldn't have been traces of drugs in the glove box. Hertz are now washing there hands of it. Avoid.
I rented a beautiful Aston Martin DB11 Volante for the weekend, and the whole experience from beginning to end (excluding the awful traffic in London there days, about which Hertz can do nothing!) was a total pleasure. Super friendly and informed staff, very clear instructions, immaculate car. Really you couldn't ask for anything more.
Once again excellent service from Ian and his team. The car was in immaculate condition and with only a few thousand miles on the clock, was like new. No problems at all during the five days rental and the collection and drop off was speedy, friendly and very professional. I have no hesitation in recommending Hertz Dream Collection.
AMG GTR is a beast...looks absolutely ridiculous. Went to drop off the 911 GTS which is a amazing car...enough about the amazing collection they have. Staff are professional friendly and very efficient. I have 2 more bookings to try out some others in their collection. Thank you guys at Bayswater & Heathrow.
After receiving a parking fine they forwarded it to me more than 2 weeks later and charged me £54. But because they forwarded it to me late there was a reminder letter for which they also charged me another £54. A bunch of useless paper pushers

booked a vehicle, and the approval was declined, when i tried to speak to them and find out why? I had no clarification at all on why it was declined, they just said 'we dont know'. one of the worst customer service experiences I had.
Very bizarre experience talking to representative on the phone when I was inquiring about the options available to me.... definitely put me off using these guys in the future. Haven't encountered such an unhelpful attitude in a while
Hired a porsche 911 Carrera S at short notice and service was great! Car was great and service matched my needs i.e. drop off in Marble Arch rather than having another day rental. Swift and easy process and will certainly hire again
Horrible service, never coming back there! Please be aware the cars are old and already broken! Very rude customer service! Once you give them your card details you will be charged twice and good luck returning your money back!
