Slightly late arrival which led to some issues with the schedule but I was given a heads up at least. The movers themselves were great and worked hard to get things done as efficiently as possible. Main reason for the 4 stars though is that they added minutes on to the total time just to have it round up to 5 hours even instead of 4 hours and 30 minutes (or even 45 minutes which I was okay with since they charge in 15 minute increments) which was more accurate. The move started and finished from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Even at the end, I consulted with the mover on timing to be sure and he acknowledged the same duration. He did mention, it could end up being closer to 1:10-15 PM because it "rounds up" on the system which I agreed to as well but then they made it 1:20 on one end and 8:20 on the other without sound reason or explanation. EDIT: So after this review was published, I was contacted by Ty (presumably the owner) who determined instead of accepting said feedback and be understanding of it - it is better to provide condescending responses by email and assign blame to the customer instead. Extremely unprofessional so I'm reducing the review to 1-star as I don't think anyone should support or condone a business where the owner thinks this kind of treatment of a customer is acceptable. It's a shame cause the movers themselves were quite nice!

The name couldn't be more accurate, these guys are true professionals. We hired Home Run to move our family from Maple Ridge over to Nanaimo earlier this month. The guys were very friendly, physically fit and stayed true to their "honest hustle." We had a 5 ton truck maxed out beyond belief and after the unload, not a single damaged item. Thanks fellas! It felt like I hired some close friends to help me move, I would highly recommend their services and expertise. Everything from their thorough preparation to the right equipment and especially the positive energy throughout the entire process. (even when it started raining) The Home Run crew handled disassembly and reassembly of furniture, created runways throughout the house to protect the flooring, carefully handled fragile items and artwork, they even cracked a few jokes along the way. It's too bad they had to jet to catch a ferry back, I owe these guys more than a meal. Thanks again, you are much appreciated. The Berkheimers

We first used Home Run Movers on our move in 2017. We were blown away by the fact that Ty literally ran our items up to our third floor suite, for hours. Fast forward to moving out from that home, we were thrilled that Ty and his team could come move much of our belongings out to storage in preparation for selling our home. Then this week, the Home Run team did our big move out and move in to our new home. They were amazing. Worked hard, carefully, helpfully to get our belongings loaded securely in the truck. They hustled hard on the other end to get our items into the proper rooms throughout the house, which is a huge, underrated help. They also got some big furniture up a small stairwell. Skilled, kind, pleasant chaps to be sure. We’re hugely appreciative and can’t thank them enough.

This was our first time hiring movers and it was a great experience. The office was responsive and extremely helpful in getting us prepared, and I was genuinely in awe of the movers that arrived. A team of 3 got a small truck packed, moved, and unpacked with an enormous amount of care within 3 hours. The cost was nothing to sneeze at - those three hours and a trip to the dump with a bunch of broken/old furniture cost us $1300 with gratuity included, but we're lucky enough that we could afford the cost and it was absolutely worth every penny spent. We absolutely could not have made this move without the team at Home Run Movers and I am so thrilled we hired them. I would recommend them to everyone I know.

I used Home Run movers for our family move in April 2023. We did an online walk through of the house for estimating purposes and I found the team to be very communicative and responsive to questions and concerns. The movers showed up on time, had drop rugs, extra cardboard to protect our new home and we're very conscious of wall scrapes and dings. We had some upholstery that was not wrapped adequately and got dirty, and afterwards they came buy with an upholstery cleaner and cleared up all our concerns! I would recommend Home Run Movers for a local move in Vancouver anytime! Great service - and more importantly after sales service.

Home Run movers are amazing. They made moving day feel like a breeze. They provided an experience that feels personal, which is hard to find with many larger companies.The moving technicians were friendly, communicative and expertly punctual. The owner Ty is pretty incredible ; highly personable. You may rethink your personal work ethic when you see how efficient and fast he works. The admin staff were excellent in providing a realistic quote by doing a pre inspection over video . What an awesome idea. We have used Home Run movers twice now ; we recommend them to all our friends and family.

Was very happy with my move! Jessica did a virtual walkthrough and the estimate I got was accurate. Ty's team showed up and I felt very comfortable with them. The team was clean, professional, and friendly. They treated my items with care and took care of all items that were fragile. I was very worried about my computers and TV but they wrapped them up with care and treated them as kindly as a box of kittens. My new building manager was also very impressed with them, which made me feel proud. I'd recommend, and use them again.

Ruben and his crew were efficient, thoughtful, and thorough. He made quick decisions when obstacles came up (like removing a door to make a couch fit into a room), packed the truck carefully and precisely, and quickly disassembled and reassembled some of our larger furniture items with ease. Everything was treated with care, wrapped and taped, and there was no damage to any of our belongings. I also liked how the quote was provided and the communication before the move too. Would definitely move with Home Run Movers again!

Ty and his team did a top notch job with my move. They were super efficient on the day of the move, and got the entire move out & move in done in much less time than I anticipated. An absolutely amazing team. The people working here were so professional and did a fantastic job with our move. This is our 3rd move with HRM. There’s a reason that we are a 3-peat. These guys are ridiculously efficient. They have separate assigned tasks and are clearly working from a mutually understood plan such that each person can work quickly and independently without a lot of direction. Home Run Movers were awesome and totally exceeded all of our expectations. I am not lying when I say that after they mapped and planned their routes, our place was empty and moved out within an hour because they were so efficient, and moving in was the exact same.
