The team at Robust Move was incredibly helpful and professional. They came about 10 minutes earlier than estimated, and took care of absolutely everything. While we had packed most stuff in boxes, we're not professional packers, so a few things were not prepared properly for the move. The guys at Robust Move took care of it; used their own packing film to secure all loose furniture and protected anything that could be scratched with their own mats (no extra charge). Our apartment was a loft/1bedroom on the first floor and it only took them about 75 minutes to take everything out. The truck was packed securely; no furniture or boxes were loose. Once we arrived to the second place the move out was about the same time too; I had thought having an elevator would make the move take way longer but that wasn't the case. They took everything out of their truck and on to our apartment in about 1 and half hours. This was my first time using a moving company, and what a great experience it was! Professional, on time, very friendly and careful service. Usually when I moved on my own I had to rent a car, load everything on it and do multiple trips having to carry everything. Then your back hurts for like a week! This time the move was very easy, we only had to focus on packing and unpacking and we were set up in the new place on the same day!

RobustMove literally saved the day! We had booked movers, 5 weeks in advance, double confirmed 2 days and 1 day before the move date. To our horror, the day-of, "there was a mistake" and we did not have movers on the way, 1 hour before intended show time. We were mortified, both working parents, child care, day off work, all other vendors booked for installations, etc. and no movers. We called Robust. They picked up the phone right away! They managed to call 2 movers on their team who were ON THEIR DAY OFF. The movers heard what happened to us, and they (out of the god honest goodness of their hearts) decided to help us. 90 minutes later, we had a moving truck pull up, and only 2.5 hours later after that, OUR ENTIRE CONDO WAS IN THEIR TRUCK and off to the new home. These gentlemen, particularly a gent named "Denny" or "Danny" (sorry!), went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable with how they moved everything. Nothing was damaged. Everything we needed reassembled is where it needs to be and is setup properly. I woke up today, the day after the move, with 100 client emails to get back to, but I am starting my day writing this review because ROBUSTMOVE SAVED MY BIG SPECIAL DAY AND I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR THEM. 1,000,000 star rating would not be enough. Hire these guys, they won't let you down!

This is an amazing company! I had to move from one city to another so it was something of a production. But Abdo and Halmat were so professional, careful, and courteous. And were they ever efficient! I didn't have a lot of furniture but it included a piano, a couple of bookshelves and a big, clunky armchair. They wrapped all the furniture very carefully and had everything packed into the van in only 90 minutes or so! They also picked up a bed on the way to our destination and cheerfully helped me to assemble it when we got there. Moreover, I was impressed that Zana, one of the company owners, came by during the move-out to check on how things were going. Also, what they charged was extremely fair. For instance, we arrived an hour early to get the ferry so I was not charged for that hour. They were very good communicators to boot. Every time a necessary change had to be made (e.g. at the ferry terminal, they were told of an extra charge due to the size of their van) they phoned me to let me know. I highly recommend this company; you will be in excellent hands, and so will all your stuff! Many thanks to the Robust Move team, you were a godsend.

It was last minute and I had to be out my place in a couple of days & I was going to rent uhaul at first but then I decided to get some help as for I couldn’t get any of my friends to help with my move. I found this company on google and I immediately called to see if they had time for my move on the 10th and right away they responded back to me within a short period of time & they were so helpful with booking. Was so fast & efficient. On the day of the move they were on time and they packed the truck in less than an hour time. Met them at my new place and they help unload the truck. One thing I was impressed on was my bed platform couldn’t go up stairs without damaging the property and they worked really great with my new landlord to come up with a way to get it up to the second level. Price was fair & they made my move so much easier. Took so much stress. Definitely recommend & will use their service again. Great job indeed!

Superb! Excellent experience! We have had four different moves throughout the years and have used the familiar big named moving companies each time. Having chosen to go a different route this time we hired an independent company - Robust Movers. I am kicking myself for not doing it sooner. Robust by far surpassed those other companies by providing us punctual,skilled, professional movers. They had a move that went through several hallways and through the front of the building, not an easy task. Amazing service! Everyone I dealt with at the company was lovely to work with and very professional. I had to reschedule and book tentative dates a few times due to a few mixups with the new building, and RobustMove was always very kind and understanding. I dealt with Akka regarding the booking, and the movers themselves were Zana and Mahir, who were absolutely amazing! They showed up promptly, and were extremely careful with all my boxes and property. After having a very negative experience with a different moving company, my partner and I were hesitant to hire outside of our friend group again. After our experience with Zana and Sean at Robust Move we have a whole new outlook on moving companies! They were punctual, friendly (with great communication every step of the way) and very professional. It was clear that they respected us and our belongings enough to treat them carefully and use their variety of moving blankets/padding to ensure everything arrived in the same condition it left in. I highly recommend using Robust Move for your next move! I scoured the internet through so many companies with bad reviews, and this one lives up to their five stars. The movers were on time, very efficient, and careful with our belongings. Moving anywhere is a stressful event, and we were even more stressed about moving quite far out of town. These guys did such an excellent and quick job, that it was one less stress to deal with. Lastly, moving has so many costs associated with it, and it was so refreshing to be quoted a reasonable rate, and then actually pay that when the service was completed. No hidden fees or charges.

RobustMove had the most personable movers I've come across. They did a really good job and packed our items competently without any damage occurring. It was incredibly hot out and they had a good attitude despite that. They even brought out a chair for me while I guarded the truck as I am pregnant and shouldn't stand for long periods of time. The bed set up was done well and they wrapped furniture like pros. My husband even decided to trust them with moving his beloved TV after watching their care with our items. The only reason I am not giving them 5 stars is that they were an hour late for their agreed upon arrival time.

I would highly recommend RobustMove to anyone. From the beginning Akka was informative, accommodating and communicated very clearly and quickly. On the day of the move, our movers arrived early- which never happens and was a pleasant surprise. Zana and his assistant (I didn’t get his name) we’re very careful with all of our items and moved us quickly and efficiently. Nothing was broken or scraped and the move for our one bedroom was done in just over 4 hours. They were even able to move our large, wide couch by lifting it over our fence. We were very happy with our service from start to finish and the price was very fair.

There are more things that can change without notice when you move than at almost any other time. For me, prompt communication and a friendly helpful attitude are highest on my list of must haves. I really give Zana an 11/10 on this count. All the items were handled with care and the packing and placing of everything at the new house was completed at a steady pace. Hired RobustMove after being referred to them by a moving company who was not available on my requested date. It worked out perfectly, Akka’s team was well prepared, professional and extremely efficient in their actions. It was my first bigger scale move and honestly I was not looking forward to it, but the guys came through. I couldn’t be more satisfied with this moving company! It was our first time hiring movers and we didn’t know what to expect. The movers, Taylor and Abdu, arrived on time, they were very professional, friendly and careful with our stuff. They kept a smile on their face despite the heat and the fact that one of the elevators in our building was broken and as a result there was only one elevator available for the whole building which caused a lot of frustration. Akka was also very responsive and helpful with scheduling a move between two buildings with different rules and restrictions. Highly recommend!

Definitely the best service I could image. They came right on time, did a great job to dissemble, move and assemble back everything. Everything was perfect and smooth. They never said no and never complained about anything. They moved my home from 3 Storeys to 4 Storeys and there not even one scratch on the walls and on the furnitures. To be honest I was not expecting such a perfect effort. There was a small issue in the assembly of my coach. I realized the day after and ask them to come and fix it. They just showed up the next day and fixed it. No doubt I advise them.

This was an extremely difficult move during the flood that impacted all of the BC highways in Nov 2021. I had to move from Vancouver to the Okanagan and the manager Akka kept up to date on the road conditions and did everything he could to accommodate my move. I'm deeply grateful for the kind, professional, and efficient service offered by the movers. They were so courteous and took extreme care not to damage any furniture or walls. We were BLOWN AWAY with Robust move! The second these guys got to our house they were grabbing boxes and filling up the truck! Working so quickly and carefully treating all of our belongings like there own! They had great personalities and we had so much fun talking with them while they helped us move! We had an exceptional experience with Robust Move last week - from the moment we called to inquire about their services and a quote, to the last item being unloaded into our new home, we felt really taken care of. Each of the movers had a special superpower - one was a master wrapper, another the master organizer in the truck and the others were the heavy lifters. We were really impressed at how efficient and quick they were. We didn't experience any breaks or bumps! All in all I would highly recommend this team!

Fantastic service! I highly recommend RobustMove. They moved my 2BR home from East to North Van, and everything went smoothly and according to plan. They moved my furniture from Vancouver to Penticton, and did it during the middle of the mudslides and flooding situation in interior BC in November 2021. Although there were a couple minor logistics hiccups (which were eventually resolved), I am forever grateful for them for coming through for us despite the uncertainties on the highways. This moving company was amazing! The movers were so friendly. They arrived on time, wrapped all our furniture, we didn’t have any damage to our stuff. But best yet, they were efficient and didn’t try to drag out the time to charge more. Also, we used their junk disposal service which made it very convenient for us. RobustMove was outstanding! The movers called me a few days ahead to confirm the move and asked about parking and our items details to get ready for the move. Very happy with my moving experience with RobustMove. Hired a two-man crew and took them about 4.25 hours to move my one bedroom apartment. Movers showed up on time, were professional and moved everything efficiently. They were able to wrap my furniture with blankets and plastic, and disassemble large furniture items. The nicest and most professional movers I have ever had ... or could even imagine. These brothers took great care of my belongings, went above and beyond (vacuumed my rug before rolling it up!) worked for 7 solid hours with only a 15 min break, were pleasant and friendly through the whole process.... and gave me a great deal! These guys were some of the best movers I’ve had. I had a POD container arrive from an international move and they were available the next day with less than 24 hours notice to help us move our things from the POD to our new house. They were efficient, friendly, careful with our belongings and at a really decent price. I will be recommending to friends and family.

Zana and his team were great. They were punctual, completely professional with care and detail. I was especially concerned about my large scale artwork and they moved it with great care. I took the advice to rent their plastic modular bins which saved time and helped me pack better. I would definitely use their service again without hesitation. I give them an A+.

They were really good with communicating throughout the consultation and actual move. it was a short notice move and they helped take away a lot of the stress of moving.
