My first experience with John's, Well I decided to try these guys out based on their reviews and ladies and gentlemen...they did not disappoint! My primary focus on services that I frequent have 3 categories, honesty, Integrity, and reliability. After having done a bit of research on what I assumed was wrong with my vehicle, I had a pretty good understanding of several price ranges for the kinds of repairs. When asked for a quote on these services, I was quoted well under what the average cost showed up as on google. After having my vehicle for a whopping 1 hour (assuming that it would take several days) I got a phone call from John saying that not only was the problem not what I thought it was, but again, it would be far less expensive to repair than even the quote that he gave me.upon hearing this I decided to have him fix other issues that I was aware of, as I had already planned on the vehicle being in the shop for a week. He replaced busted window regulators for half the cost of what my old mechanics charged me, and then fixed my ac which required him to tear apart the dash to get to, and had everything back together in less than a day. All in all, it was 3 days to have my engine repaired, my windows fixed and my ac completely disassembled and repaired and for thousands less than other mechanics would have charged me. So, Honesty: yes, he didn't overcharge me and actually fixed my problems for cheaper than he initially quoted. He didn't try to upsell me, he didn't add anything that didn't need to be done. He earned every penny that was charged and I would happily do it again. Integrity: yes he gave me honest assessments from the start and upheld what he said and then checked in with me every step of the way to keep me well updated and informed of what had been done and to see if there was anything further I would like looked at. Reliability: well, he did everything I asked of him and did quality work for a reasonable price, and met a timeline that was very important. So, that would be another Yes. If you need work done on your vehicle, don't gamble with other mechanics, these guys are incredible and I will not be taking my vehicle anywhere else! I'm truly upset that I wasted my time and money with other mechanics in the past when I could have been coming here the whole time. Great work guys. I chose John's because I read some very good reviews. Unfortunately, I did not have the same experience. I came to have my brakes replaced. Granted, I know nothing about brakes so after they called and gave me a quote, I didn't ask any further questions. Once I picked up my car and continued driving a bit, I noticed a high pitched sound still happening when I would brake. I called and they said they would look at it again, no problem. I picked it up the second time and after continuing to drive it, still heard a high pitched sound when braking. I called back and they told me that perhaps the parts for my specific car would be better than the generic/ceramic ones... That was never mentioned to me, and I wouldn't know the difference. So I was pretty insulted when they told me that they couldn't hear the sound and basically suggested I was lying about it. What difference would it make to me, the type of brake pads in my car? As long as they work and make no noise? How absurd to insinuate that I would have nothing better to do but keep returning there to have my brakes adjusted, lying about it and trying to pull one over on them. I will say that after the third time, and with whichever pads they used now, there is no sound and it feels better braking. Just got kind of an attitude from them, and had to go 3 times to get it that way.

I started taking my car here because a friend of mine told me he took his vehicles here and they are locally owned and trustworthy. They've always been very direct and honest about any repairs and I feel like my car is in good hands. Recently, I've had an issue with my car's cooling system possibly leaking fluids and it has baffled two other mechanics so I took my car to John's. They had replaced a coolant outlet housing and gasket recently so I asked them look into in. They couldn't find the leak either after 2 days of working on it. No charge! They put a fluorescent dye in my coolant so when/if it leaks again, a UV light with reveal the flow path of the leak. Genius. Part of me is hoping it won't leak again but the other part of me is okay if it does. Not only to find out if this diagnostic method works, but also because the mechanics are handsome. Update: The fluorescent dye worked! John found and fixed my leak for FREE and Kia was going to charge me $900 for the job! I’m so glad I found these guys.

Dropped my truck off about 2 weeks ago because it wasn't cooling like I thought it should be. I dropped it off soon as they opened. No one ever called me, so I called them round 2:30. Guy was really nice and told me they were running behind. Told him that was fine, hell I can come get it tomorrow. Got a call back 30 minutes later saying I had a leak in my evaporator core and it will cost $1100 to fix. I didn't get repair, and my truck was blowing hotter. So I took it somewhere else. They put dye in it and found no leak and filled it up with freon for $120. I wanted to wait 2 weeks to write review to monitor truck. Til this day my old truck been blowing like it's brand new. All I can think is thank God I only paid them $60 for a diagnosis instead of $1100 to fix it.

March 18th 2022 thank you again for repairing my sensor in my Honda Civic SI. Professional and had the car the same day. The coast of repairs is reasonable and less expensive than other auro shops that charge an over rated labor charge and added expenses for parts. I will continue to use this company and will recommend to any one in need of a qualified auto shop. . Johns Automotive thank you! Exceptional workmanship on replacing the cluch in my car. Your mechanics were professional and very kind. I am an elderly women and it was nice to see I wasn't given a sale pitch of added cost, more materials required or service work. I would recommend this company and will continue to use the service when rpequired. Thank you again.

We had our AC "repaired" at Firestone and it blew cold for one day. I took it back to Firestone the next day and they wanted to charge me an additional $900 on top of the $335 that we had already paid and they wouldn't guarantee the work. I called John's Automotive and they told me to bring it in. Not only did they diagnose the exact problem (which is not what Firestone was saying it was), their prices were reasonable and they warranty their work. My AC has been blowing cold ever since. I have since been back for an oil change for my daughter's car and for a leak in my water pump and have been extremely pleased with the service. If you are looking for an honest, quality mechanic, this is the place to go!

I’ve used John’s Automotive for over 10yrs! He has worked on 3 different cars and fixed an issue for my father in law who was moving & driving from Florida to Arizona. He has always been fair, honest & professional be it with my wife, myself and family. I just had to use him Wednesday Jan 26th 2022 and again was honest, didn’t try to make me pay for things not needed and had my car back in under 24hrs with having to do $1300 worth of work and the car is back to is smooth driving self! On June 19th I was having issues with my car overheating. I didn’t know the cause and I didn’t think they would be able to fix it. They told me to wait 30 minutes so my truck could cool down. Then he came and told me my adapters that powered my fans were fried and he would clip them add new ones. The cost was not only fair but way less than what I expected, the service was excellent, and that was the second time this shop saved me from major work being done on my car. Thank you to all the crew Johnny, Sean, Charlie, and of course John the owner. I appreciate everything you did and do! ♥️

At first they seem really nice and friendly but the second time their true colors came out. I called about my previous AC problem and they said they would look at it for free! Great right? Wrong they charged me 50 bucks for re filling it with freon which I never asked them to do and by the way that was 20 bucks more than the first time they recharged it. They absolutely lost my future business and I want to make sure people know that the folks at john automotive will look to nickel and dime you. There are better places with honest and reliable pricing.

Went In for just fluids exchange on a bigger vehicle. Ram Promaster- Break/ steering an coolant. I should been more specific OME fluids but with “their” expertise I thought they would of known. Break an steering fluid was different color compared to my last so hopefully won’t cause no issues down the line. Coolant was right. I did notice coolant all over the place near reservoir an underneath even on the bell housing that wasn’t wiped down. Other than that Johns a solid guy pricing was fair an timing was great!

John’s Automotive will be my go to shop from now on. They are a small family owned location so you have to be patient with them, but they are quick, friendly, honest and they will get the job done right and not to mention their prices are amazing!! Another company wanted to charge me over $1000 for a tune up, I went to Johns Automotive and they gave me an awesome price for the same services. I have been here twice and both times 10/10 would recommend!

This is a small family owned business that my husband and I ha e been taking our vehicles to for at least 12 years. He is honest and trustworthy. There was a time when he said he would fix something on one of our vehicles. However, he recommended that we take it to another individual who specialized in that specific area. In my opinion, that is someone who is looking out for CUSTOMERS, not his wallet!! I highly respect and recommend this mechanic!!

RE: inaccurate response. Way to double down, first of all a vehicle doesn’t need matching rotors to be drivable so it didn’t NEED it as you stated. I understand as mechanic it is your job to make recommendations/suggestions but ultimately it is the customer’s say in what gets done or not done to their vehicle as they are the ones paying the bill. Customers should not be coerced/forced to do agree to any repairs that they don’t fully understand.

FEMALES BEWARE!! I sent my wife alone to this shop and she came back with expensive and unnecessary repairs I know she did not ask for. Do not recommend this business as it mislead my wife into agreeing into replacing parts she did not ask for. When I called they told me I was SOL. Do not trust the sketchy mechanics here at John’s automotive, they’ll milk you for any dime they can, especially if you are a female who doesn’t know about cars.

Great service! My engine light came on and I was beyond stressed. Took it to John's and within an hour, they told me what was wrong. Among multiple things, they suggested what should be fixed first and most importantly to avoid further damage. Its not often you find shops that provide that information. Most will take advantage of my situation and say "it all needs to be fixed now" but that wasn't the case here.

I've been coming to John's for 2 yrs now. It is the only shop I will deal with. So glad I was referred here. There honest ,do great work ,and prices are great too compared to other places. As a woman you always seem to get a story about what could be the problem, but not here. They dont take appts but that's fine. I would rather take off a work day to get the job done right. I always recommend them to others.

I called this business at 11:30 and spoke to a gentleman about the issue with my vehicle. I was told “we are heading out to lunch, can you come in at one?” I said yes and came in only to be told we do not have time and you would have to drop your vehicle off tomorrow. Having already taken time off work I gladly took my vehicle elsewhere and they were appreciative of the business.

Finding a good Mechanic shop can be scary..but in my experiences, John's is the best.Just had my starter replaced. After dropping my car off I didn't have to call them.they called me promptly after checking my vehicle and told me what they recommended and offered a reasonable price. They fixed it and had it back to me by the end of the day.

Having my F250 running at its best is not just needed, but crucial to my business. I recently had an a/c issue and had 2 mechanics literally take everything apart only to tell me they couldn't figure out what the problem was. Very frustrating! I took it to John's and they had it fixed in a couple of days and the charge was very reasonable.

I am very thankful I brought my car to John’s Automotive. My breaks stopped working in my Ford Escape. The part I needed was on a National back order. Great customer service! As a woman, I hate having to take my car in for service because you know they are going to try to take advantage of you. John's is trustworthy and honest. You know you are going to get the best price and customer service over any chain shop or dealership. They take pride in their work and it shows.

I've been a customer for over 10 years. They do great work. I've had them work on all my cars over those years and have always had a great experience. I would give him him ten stars if I could. I thought I had a major oil leak and he was honest enough to fix the problem which was a minor valve cover gasket. I've been to a lot of bad and dishonest mechanics who would have charged me for a head gasket. Many thanks to John's for their excellent service and honesty!

I went here for diagnostic test and they said it's was my ignition switch and couldn't fix it, taking it to Chrysler they texted my battery and replaced it with a new 1, was nothing wrong with my ignition switch clearly these ppl have no idea what they're doing smh I feel I should be refunded for false diagnostic.

Price and workmanship are practically unbeatable. Cheaper than a brand name garage and honest. Quote came in lower than expected and system works flawlessly now. The only thing is, get there early. My daughter took her car to them on 2/7 to get her air conditioner repaired, they called her the same day and told her what was wrong and what it would take to fix it. She gave them the to ahead to fix it and she got it back on 2/8, she was so excited that it didnt cost her alot to have it done,
