I am sharing photos of how to access this historical cemetery, as it isn't intuitive - it's tucked within a gated apartment (Terrazzo) complex. You need to enter the Spicewood Springs Apartments driveway nearest to Terrazzo, near the large electrical box (pictured). There is a gravel path along the fence, which leads to the fenced entrance to the cemetery. It isn't well kept, as it's sort of a no man's land. Regardless, my companion and I enjoyed looking at the grave makers (most were broken). Some of the interred were born before the Republic of Texas. It's amazing to imagine what a landscape these people moved to and lived in. This is high on a mesa, and was hours away from the City of Austin, as its own rural community: Jollyville. Now, it's surrounded by apartments. Time marches on.
