Updated: So I go to KFC Around the first week of April 2023. I ordered 2 Chicken burgers plain. Plain with nothing on them. They said that there were no buns and that I would have to order something else. So I ordered and went home with soggy fries. I come back the next week, ordered 3 Big Crunch burgers and 1 zinger. Mine plain, and my wife wants a normal zinger. We get home and they gave me 4 zingers. * The lady at the front desk was also yelled at by they manager to get off her phone as we were standing in front of her waiting to order and she was ignoring us while on TikTok or Facebook reels. I said I would not come back but instead we did. We came back today April 16 2023 and I ordered 3 burgers. All plain. Nothing but chicken and bun. I said it twice and made myself clear. I then checked the burgers in the car. All seemed fine. Just chicken and bun. I get home…. They put pickles and mayo on it but a small amount of both in the center. I checked and opened the bun up a little but not enough to see that they messed up my order again. I now leave a 1 star review that I won’t ever be going back. this place went from having line ups out the door to being deserted at lunch time on a weekend. I’ve lived in Barrhaven for 28 years and am disappointed. 1 star review Old review: The drink machine should be in the back. The amount of parking sucks, and the space you have is terrible. Rude customers are always here and the food tastes like it’s been cooked long before I buy it. The staff is very nice but the quality of food is not like other KFC’s. I recommend bringing the staff to a KFC that has quality food to taste the difference. Bring back chicken nuggets! 3 star review

Absolutely filthy and disgusting place… I decided to grab some kfc since I had not tried it for a while and I was shocked after I walked into this store… I ended up ordering a plant based combo and firstly their fries tasted old and over seasoned salt and some other flavouring that I couldn’t identify however it tasted horrible and then the burger tasted over cooked and very old could tell it was horrible but the worst thing is that their drinks don’t even taste like the brands and they taste horrible old and greasy, I couldn’t even finish my food coz of how bad it was.. luckily I had the receipt and I ended up taking the food back to them and after causing a scene they decided to give me a full refund for my order and while the cashier was refunding me the lady who was cooking was arguing with me and assumed it was my first time trying it but after seeing all of these reviews I could tell that their food is horrible and I made sure to mention to them that their reviews are terrible and I also warned the customers there to not order and that their food is bad and you should order elsewhere… I also told them to clean their atrocious disgusting rat infested floor… the kitchen looks dirty the place is dirty the area looks weird please do not go to the store this is a warning!!! I got my refund and went to German doner kebab a proper restaurant that welcomed me and had proper real delicious tasting food.. this kfc should close down their food is not even edible! I would save your money if I were u!!!

This particular KFC location is in quite a strangely oriented plaza, making turns into the plaza quite difficult for drivers to locate at a glance. It is a very old-looking franchise and the interior space is not very welcoming or well maintained. Overall, it's a very sketchy place. During my visit, I stood at the cash and called out "hello?" for 20mins without being served or greeted until an employee who was cleaning noticed me. To add insult to injury, instead of helping me himself, he urged 2 other employees who had apparently been behind the kitchen splash wall this entire time on their phones... I was going to let it all go after my meal, but the chicken was underfried, the fries were soggy, and gravy was bland as if it was watered down. Next time I'll just go to Popeyes.

Ordered online for pick up, the time on my pu said ready by 523pm. I never expect it to be the exact time but somewhat close. After a while, I asked about my order (and so did another customer who pre-ordered) and they said it would be 2 or 3 more mins. No problem. Waited 10mins and asked again. This time they said 1 more min. 5 more mins and recd my order. Got it home and the 6pc of chicken is just soaked in grease, so much so that it the skin is not crispy at all. The fries were fresh, I will say that.

I placed my order online for pickup in the store and arrived 3 minutes after it was scheduled to be ready. The cashier was serving a customer when I walked in and she went to the back after finalizing his order before serving me. I waited 12 minutes before she came back and I could see my pick up bag with my name on it waiting on the counter the entire time. When I got home the chicken was essentially waterlogged with grease and the chicken was very dark in colour, indicating that the oil is old and needs to be changed. We tried to eat the chicken but it wasn’t possible. Both service and quality is none existent in this location. Don’t waste your money here.

Rude and impossible to get my order. Tried to order online, it crashed during payment, so I went in. I was the only person there trying to place an order but it didn't matter. The person working the counter prioritized the food services, after 10 minutes of being ignored, I finally asked, can I place an order, the answer was a finger in my face and walking away. I then learned they had no chicken cooking and could not fill the orders for the others standing there, either. I finally just gave up and left. What a mess.

I've had KFC on Bank Street that was absolutely delicious. So I decided to support my local KFC on Fallowfield Road. I spent $60 on various items. After an hour of waiting for the delivery, the driver shows up. Friendly, nice guy. However the food was a disappointing experience. The big "crunch" was soggy, and looked like a store bought chicken patty. The bun was ripped apart and missing (EW), fries cold and stale, lettuce soggy and dark as though it's days old from being moldy. Worst KFC in town. Not impressed. Long time customer (15+ years) at this location. We have seen at least 3 different owners, but I think we are done going here. Just ordered the new feast meal and was told there only had 2 white pieces left but could sub in 2 tenders if that was ok. Opened it at home and the fries were mashed in and over everything, a huge stuck greasy clump. Then found the burnt chicken pieces at the bottom, very dark and soggy. And the two substituted finger don't even equal the size of a single rib piece. Really dissatisfied with this KFC.

First order was inedible, grease laden, batter falling off so soggy. Had to drive back and return it. Second replacement order barely acceptable. Cash machine out of service, staff calling out to customers from in the kitchen, elderly customers told to use the app. Multiple customers walked out. Angry customers having disputes about orders and very long waits.

UPDATE: They told me that I would receive my refund in 3 to 5 business days on July 7th 2023. It is now Saturday July 22 2023, still no refund. So they are also liars. Food looks and taste refried. I was surprised at how dirty and rundown this location looked. I watched an employee hang out on their phone in the back while food was supposed to be prepped. The chicken was very greasy. The cashier at the front was friendly and did apologize for the wait time. Please clean your entryway. Wash the walls, not just the floors. Repaint the red and white boards and walls.

This was the WORST KFC that I have ever experienced! We picked up the 10 piece special with fries, gravy and three salads. The salads, fries and gravy were very good but the chicken was over cooked, dry and as you can see in my pictures it was even burnt in some places! Definately left in the dryer for too long! Not sure who is running this store but I can honestly say that if it was my first ever KFC visit that I would not make another.

With all of the new competition, this KFC needs to up it's game. I thought this was a KFC thing but the one on Hunt Club is much better. Menu is hidden behind the cash, order area is very small, and the actual food was mediocre or bad. If you're in Barrhaven, Mary Brown's or Popeyes are the better choice.

The staff you have hired are ruining the franchise. This location was decent a few years ago. You have terrible staff who prepare disgusting greasy food because they don’t care who eats it. I haven’t been back for a year because of how disgusting this place has gotten. Ask yourself why customers are no longer purchasing food. Hire ppl who care about customer service or this place will shut down!

I like this KFC. Servers are efficient. KFC everywhere serves notoriously small pieces. I always wonder if they cut the thighs in halves. When I got my box here- 4 pieces plus salad plus fries, I found the box really heavy. To my delight the pieces are all huge. Same delicious. I’ll certainly buy from this KFC from now on. 5 stars.

Served me raw chicken (40-60% cooked at most) , then refused pic as proof for refund.. 2nd trip (with entire meal returned) to get refund useless as well, as denied was raw and refused refund, stating cashless store.. Staff refused to help, made excuses, and were blatantly rude.. Corporate office WILL be hearing from me..
