Every time I get to visit this little tucked away gem, I just marvel that I don't have to wait in a line down the street! Haha! Anyone who knows the place knows just how lucky they are to have it. The creative juices keep flowing at this little bakery, and you're always in store for something special. Worth getting up early for danish (first in best dressed!) and croissants baked throughout the morning on weekends means everyone's a winner. And I'm not exaggerating... these are the BEST croissants and danish I've EVER had. I don't even bother anywhere else anymore. Bagels are huge and tasty (and freeze well for breakfast throughout the week), and the bread selections include standard and creative options, all beautifully executed. If you have an event in mind, ordering ahead is encouraged, and well within the team's capability as it goes back to their restaurant catering roots I feel so VERY fortunate this team chose to set up shop within easy reach of my place. HUGE thanks to them all, bakers and front of house! Life would be less wonderful without you all!

Best coffee in Carina - Brisbane! Croissants are as close to the Paris taste I’ve found. So perfect with that coffee. I even had to to go onto decafe this month and their decafe is spectacular. A variety of milk options. The Selection of Jam & eggs & juice to bring home high quality. Always taste testers available and range of special sourdoughs and bakery delights!Great customer service, find a quiet time to miss to line, but it’s worth the short wait if you do, the staff are so friendly and efficient. The people that go in with another coffee just to buy the baked goods need to try the coffee too - a cosy corner to stop and break between the busyness of life.

Picked up some items on sunday afternoon. Of the two sausage rolls , one was completely dried out with a crunchy layer of meat on the bottom, the 2nd one was the opposite , it felt half cooked , the filling was wet and mushy. We also got a few small desserts to take to a friends, they were actually quite nice, especially the cheesecake tart. Lastly we got a sliced rye bread to take home, this also had issues. The whole loaf fell apart when trying to take a slice as the middle was still wet and gluggy. I don’t like slamming small business, but i also don’t like wasting money. Not sure what went wrong, but two thirds of what we bought was inedible.

Great service. Best Barista coffee in the area too - they make it straight up while you choose your bakery items during this change in social distancing. Delicious deli items in the fridge. Love the eggs & orange juice too. Handy to grab eggs & Bonsoy there. Kids favourite is the cheese & bacon brioche & the muffins, I love the croissants, hubby thinks the sour dough & the pies are spot on. Always gives you a cookie with your coffee too. Easily do phone takeaways to the back door to socially distance and beat the crowd. Top Customer Service.

Gorgeous little local bakery with an great selection of sweet & savoury treats: pies, sausage rolls, danishes, excellent croissants, donuts & more! I haven’t had a coffee so can’t comment, but I’ve noticed whenever I’m there that when a local comes in to order a coffee the staff know them all by name! So impressive, they clearly have a great relationship with all the locals & that makes me want to support them even more. Can’t wait for my next croissant!

I’ve bought the almond croissants here often and kept returning for them time and again because they were always generously stuffed with a delicious marzipan filling. The last two purchases over the past two weeks have resulted in major disappointment. The marzipan filling is now almost entirely gone! The meagre smear of barely there filling that has replaced it is as tasteless as it is poor value for money.

Amazing little hole in the wall with beautiful pastries, baked goods and artisan pantry items! The service was so sweet as well. Popped in this morning to treat myself and was amazed with what was on offer and how warm the space felt. They make their own complimentary petit-fours for your coffee as well! An extra cute touch to remember. Great spot in a dense cafe city. Would recommend

What a great place. Artisan bread - made the right way, slowly! The pastry and sweet things are excellent with a nice gluten free offering across the range as well. Special mention has to be made of the Croissant range - which are spectacular, and the New York style bagels are superb. Do yourself a favour and visit!!

  • Lauren Bunn

My new local and I love it. Sourdough is great and you get a little bickie complementary when you order a coffee- such a cute and yummy treat. Best gluten free bread I’ve EVER had!!!!! Very delicious. They can run out not too late into the morning so go early. They also do sourdough pizza bases! (And GF Bases too)

  • Nicholas Archer-Scott

Fantastic little bakery. Baked goods are decent - pastry too undercooked for my liking and croissants lack butter and saltiness. But bread range is enormous and looks delicious. Service is beyond 5 star - they'll even bring out your goods to your car if you have sleeping kids inside if you give them a call!

  • sam camp

Hidden away is this family owned bakery, the produce is just perfect and the baker loves to experiment with new special treats available depending on the day. An ideal place to find a breakfast or lunch. Some lovely deli products available. Make an effort to come here and enjoy some real expert baking.

  • Jock Dunbar

I really love the food and emphasis on quality here. They source locally made products and have very friendly staff. At the time of this review they offer 50c off for coffee if you bring your own cup. It’s not the best coffee I’ve had but I’m happy to overlook that to support them (and the earth).

  • Leesa

I live pretty close by but I’ve only just discovered this bakery, I feel like I’ve been missing out! They have a really good selection of both sweet and savoury. The almond croissant, caramel donut, and pig in a blanket are all delicious. I’m definitely going to be a regular customer now!

  • Luisa Sommer

These guys are the best. Despite being extraordinarily busy, their customer service is so outstanding, it makes you feel like you're the only person in the room. The bakery products cater for all tastes and needs. I wish there were more businesses like this one. Well done everybody!

  • Shaun james

Can easily say this is my favourite bakery now. Flakey pastry, delicious fillings and unique varients on favourites. Only bit of criticism would be the pies tend to get a lil soggy due to the metal tin trays, but a quick couple of minutes in the air fryer fixes that up no problem

  • Max Jamwal-Girdler

Yum bread, good pies, coffee and lots of outdoor seating. This is the best local bakery and a great little community. Try the pizza bases, so easy to whip up dinner with these and they are good! Good bread is under appreciated- the Baker’s Corner delivers by the baker’s dozen!

  • Tracey Holland

Yummo!!! Just bought a silverbeet / olive / sun-dried tomato / feta cheese rolled up loaf of bread for lunch. DELICIOUS! and a great price as well. Nice friendly lady at the counter that had some great info to share on how to serve the bread. We will definitely be back

  • Razor 8

Great Bakery, the team work very hard to produce good tasting quality pastries, cakes and bread. Love their portegese tarts. Only wish they were open on Mondays. It's easy to see why they are always flat out. Perhaps the best quality bakery in Brisbane.

  • Tym Browne

Beautiful food and plenty of it! Although the line was out the door I was served really quickly. I wish I could have tried all the food. The veggie pasty was brilliant with just the equal amount of pastry and filling. Their coffee was great too!

  • Lindy

What a nice little bakery hidden away in Carina. Delicious assortment of breads & pies. Had the chocolate croissant and it was delightful! The Kale smoothie was great too. Looking forward to coming here! Great friendly & quick service!

  • Harry Ens

Very friendly staff and nice shop, but very very over priced and the worst part is, no prices in the windows. So if you don't ask the price, you goanna be up for a big surprise. Unfortunately I'd have to pass on going here again.

  • Nick Manolis

Sorry to say but definitely average. The base of my pie was not cooked, the eggs benny thing was dry and had almost no flavour and croissant was really bready. Its also really dark inside and hard to see what’s in the display.

  • James Rose

Used to be the best bakery around. I am not sure what's happened since they reopened but it seems to have declined a bit. Basic stuff is sold out before 9 a.m. and the pies and sausage rolls aren't as good as they used to be.

  • Wayne Cottier

Dropped by with a friend who recommended Bakers Corner. Absolutely fabulous. Best Sausage Rolls ever and the Spinach/Fetta Triangles were to die for. Great service as well! Will have to drive up from the Gold Coast more often

  • Gemma Dwyer

One of my favourite finds in Brisbane. Great quality sweets and all super reasonably priced compared to other specialty bakeries in the area. I’ve never been without there being a line out the door and can always see why.

  • Greg Beggs

Absolute favourite local bakery. Delicious and first class everything from an old favourite vanilla slice to the fanciest varieties of sourdough and everything in between. Highly recommended …

  • J M

Food is great but something needs to be done about the flies. It's disgusting, not sure about food safety with it left going cold on the bench either. The owner needs to do something before it's reported

  • Nori T

Many delicious looking sweet and savoury to choose from. With great service of staff members. Their breakfast menu is delicious. It was a nice touch of them served coffees with a little piece of cake.

  • Maryline Kassab

This is the best afternoon tea anyone could ask for- a fresh cinnamon donut and a shot of intense black coffee. Thanks Baker’s Corner team! It’s always a pleasure sampling your creations, keep it up!!

  • Willie Wagtail

Croissant was very bad. So was the multigrain sourdough loaf - tasted like dough and barely sour - worse than a supermarket one. Also flies
