I have lived next door to Kits mini storage for 15 years and came to use them for the first time this past spring for a short time as I was going through a transition. The service was impeccable, so friendly and welcoming, they always went above and beyond to work with my needs. Andi and Rose (and Copper the resident dog) and occasional Carl are so friendly, personable and helpful, it made my experience - my first exposure to storage culture - so easy and supported, less daunting and overwhelming. I love that they have a discount for next door buildings. And I was a little intimidated with handling the super old school elevator at first but they walked me through many times until I felt comfortable and it was fun! In fact, they have become my neighbourhood friends, though I no longer have storage needs, I stop by often to chat and connect with Andi and Rose (and Copper the dog :)). I will definitely use their services again if needed. In addition to the ultra convenience factor (location, location, location), they have great security and I always feel safe there - so much so, when I sell things on Craigslist, it's my go to place to meet people. Keep up the good work!

It’s cheap and the staff are competent. There’s a toilet on the ground floor. Just get the key from staff at reception. I mention this cos the other storage place close to the west end has no toilet facilities. The hours are a bit prohibitive; they only open at 8am and close at 6pm on weekdays. For weekends and stat holidays, it’s 9 am to 5 pm. Last sign-ins are 30 mins before closing so if you arrive after 430 pm on a Sunday say, they won’t let you in. The elevator is very old school, manual controls only. This means that the elevator has few moving parts to go wrong and is extremely reliable and quite simple to learn. For the price, and location, it’s pretty good value.

Fantastic customer service that went above and beyond the call of duty! Kitsilano Mini Storage was incredibly accommodating at coming up with a storage solution for me and my family. Andi was quick to respond to inquiries and we were left feeling comforted, knowing that someone trustworthy was there to help. She even ensured that other staff were aware of our particular needs and timelines. Andi’s exceptional kindness and flexibility reduced a great deal of stress during an exciting, yet difficult, transition in our family's lives. Thanks again for the amazing service!

Be aware that all of your belongings will smell like mothballs once removed from this storage facility. It will take time, effort, and money to remove from mattresses, clothing, fabric furniture, pillows, and linen. Affordable storage prices but with the added costs needed to neutralize the pungent odour or replace belongings, it isn’t worth it at all.

The staff here are quite amazing and wonderful people! I use them for storing things for my work and they also accept packages and shipments of all types. They'll even put it in your storage unit as well if you like. Prices might be high but the service, convenience and reliability of this place is completely worth every penny!

Seems like a great place to store stuff. Not sure that the control at the entrance is quite strict enough to ensure that people getting in are actual renters, hopefully no unwanted visitors!

A really well maintained facility but I found the employee to be rude and somewhat condescending when I came over from Victoria for the day to clean out my sister's storage locker.

Excellent storage solution in Kits! Easy to access, good range of size options, helpful staff (especially Andie), safe, well managed, reasonable prices.

They are great late on fees yet still helped me to get my cloths and be prepared for job interviews. I feel truly blessed for their kindness.

Clean secure storage at a reasonable - ish price ( basically right in kits so you pay for the convenience ). Run by nice people

More affordable than the 24/7 storage locations but at times inconvenient that they close at 6pm during the week.

Occasional wait times to use the unloading dock—excellent customer service, though!

Just a heads up they don't "close at 6" like it says on google, the cut off is 5:30
