Great service by the employees who work directly for LCBO. HOWEVER, the rent-a-cops which are used for store security/loss prevention NEED to stop assuming everyone is a thief! Sometime, I need to simply browse this RETAIL ESTABLISHMENT in order to locate what I am seeking...there are literally Thousands of options available. If you spend more than 5 seconds picking out your product of choice, you are automatically assumed to be shoplifting. Absolutely despicable and is in direct violation as my rights as both a Canadian citizen AS WELL AS A HUMAN BEING! MOST PEOPLE JUST WANT TO PAY FOR A PRODUCT WHICH IS AVAILABLE, AND CONTINUE ON WITH OUR DAY! WE DO NOT NEED THESE RENT-A-COPS (WHO, BY THE WAY, LEGITIMATELY BELIEVE THAT THEY ARE ON THE SAME LEVEL AS A POLICE OFFICER OR LAW ENFORCEMENT)! I would LOVE to shop here, even just ONCE, without being a shoplifting "suspect"....I've never stolen a penny in my life! Get it together LCBO! ZERO STARS

As I am not a huge spirits guy I can only speak to the selection of beer, which is quite good. This particular LCBO is very much leaning towards the Craft beer lover as it has a great selection and the option of getting seasonal growlers (>4L) bottles from a draught tap. At the rear of the store lies a decent sized walk in cooler for the beer and to the left/right of the cooler entrance chilled wine is available as well. You won't get the quantity discount as from the Beer Store but it's a nice stop for a few specialty brews.

Beware of the new training staff member. Lady in her 40s. Made me stay away from the customer at the cash but then let the next lady stand right behind me while I was paying. Ageist? Sexist? I'm not sure. I am a 25 year old male and the other customers were older than myself and female. Also extremely rude with a lot of attitude. I'm not sure why you work in customer service. Not a happy human being at all. I wouldnt want to be quarantined with her.

Friday evening, St. Patrick Day and the store had almost no one to assist? How quaint. I was here with a friend, and was amazed by the huge selection and categories of wines they have. Nice. Please have someone to assist the customers on the floor, cuz they were all at the cashier only. Many people don't know much about wines, and they could use someone's knowledge, or product-recommendation during their election process. Thank you. Cheers!

This LCBO at Lansdowne replaced the very popular one that was at Bank and Clemow. It's much larger now, with a huge walk-in beer fridge, and a growler station. It's still kind of hard to find anything you don't usually get, but that's a problem with all LCBOs. Parking is best underground as they will stamp your ticket with any reasonable purchase. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

As Alice said , you can find anything that you want..... In the days of super apps and state of the arts technology. The mere fact we have to buy booze from a designated store, that may not even be close to where you live or where you are going , is ridiculous. Unfortunately we don't think strongly enough about these Nanny laws here in Canada, because it's always been that way.

Large location with underground parking available. Validate parking with cashier. Lots of selection available with a huge chilled beer area. Tons of local selection along with a great international selection. I bought two boxes of imported beer, one was mistakenly given to me so I had to come back for a return. Staff handled the return easily.

Laziest most embarrassing excuse for employees in the history of the already abismal LCBO service reputation standard. Show up to do a return on a quiet Sunday and the staff working, and apparently her supervisor are too lazy to process it. Absolute disgrace and a premier reason I will never return to this LCBO location.

I've had a rough couple of weeks, and I wanted to grab a couple of beers to lighten up the week. I was greeted by a friendly and smiling staff, and Gavriel helped me out with all of my shopping needs. He's been doing an amazing and tireless job to serve customers in what we know is a tough time for all service workers.

I've never been a big fan of state/province/government monopoly in general, and living in Quebec, I know what it feels like. Great choice, it's just morally wrong for the people that run your province to have exclusive dibs on your booze. Sorry Ontario, you're no better than Quebec in that regard.

Glad to see this location doing well. Always seems like a busy place but the staff do a great job of moving the lines. Not as exceptionally stocked as other locations around the city however for a quick pick up of some beers or a bottle of wine, this sport would do in a pinch.

Great! They have a great selection, pretty big store. I've been here many times, the staff are super friendly and helpful. They've helped me price check items a few times. Also do note if you are parking in the parkade they do validate your parking ticket! Just ask.

Worst service ever, a lady chasier ask me to lower my mask (mask mandatory because of the pandemic)in the middle of the cashier lane, instead of asking for an ID, was INSULTING you should know profiling a customer just because the colour of the skin is wrong!

I called about placing an order and the man on the phone laughed out loud and said "we don't have time to shop for people."!! He could not possibly have been more rude about it. I can place orders at many stores and they are happy to help!

Great LCBO. A revolving door and some one way gates lead you into the spacious store, with plenty of inventory from vintage to international wines, plenty of spirits and liqueur, and a big fridge of IPA and domestic beer/lagers/ales. In

Your typical LCBO. They have a large walk-in beer fridge at the back of the store. It is one of the few stores open till 9pm on Saturdays. There was only one cash counter open when I went in Saturday evening, but the line wasn't too bad.

Great craft beer selection in the cooler, generally ok wine offerings. Overall one of the better LCBOs in Ottawa. Needs better bike parking but there's lots of room if you don't mind just leaning up against the front of the building.

Amazing place with a good collection of wines. Inviting place and sanitized well to avoid spread of covid. Really friendly staff and helpful they have good knowledge of the contents. Must visit if you are looking for some good wines

Great selection for a medium sized store. Helpful staff, free underground parking. Clearance items are no longer in one area. .... so look closely at each section to find the overstocked and discontinued gems. It's worth the tour.

I absolutely LOVE being followed around like I am about to place every single bottle that they have in stock into my pockets! It's their job, loss prevention....I get it. But I also need a bit of space to BREATHE! GEEZE LOUISE!

I was searching for Georgian wine, and they had it. The sales rep was happy to assist me by showing me where the bottles were. Store was a bit understaffed when I visited, because I had trouble locating a staff member.

Reasonable LCBO. They carry a big range of everything and have some good surprises in the specialty alcohols. Currently with covid 19 they seem to having trouble with getting craft beers from Europe as stock is meager.

Gavriel was SO helpful. He was so friendly and made my experience here very positive. I came in looking to buy a specific item but he had so many great recommendations and I ended up buying them all, thanks Gavriel!

Manager is awful, rude, and spiteful. The worst interaction I have ever had. What a shame LCBO has hired such a monster to run the store, very obvious he’s on a power trip. Will avoid this location at all costs.

Great place to go. However, little short on Crown Royal Whiskey medium and small bottles. So I had to get a bigger one. Not at all bad but didn't want to spend so much. Oh well, more to help deal with Covid-19!

The friendliest staff I've ever seen at an LCBO, good humour, and the man at the till constantly says cheers when he asks for my ID. Ask anyone for anything and they'll run around the store to accommodate you.

This is a good LCBO with a wide selection of wines, beers, liquors, and other alcohol like coolers. I have always found what I am looking for when I come here and have found the staff to be helpful.

Really nice collection. But sometimes it becomes difficult to locate the item you're looking for. Using the app to check whether that particular store is having that specific item is a good option.

A very well-managed nice clean place. The cashiers are nice and caring. A large store - a lot to choose from. If you are a Carleton on-campus student, then this would be the nearest LCBO.

The selection at this LCBO is top notch, you can get 30 min of free parking in the underground lot and it has a beer tasting bar with rotating taps not available anywhere else.

Generally the staff at this location are amazing but there are a few who are less so. The selection at this location is quite good and they usually have something for everyone.

Great LCBO, do yourself as favor and park underground. An elevator brings you right to the front door. They have beer tasting and one of the largest walk in coolers I've seen

Great Liquor Store! Lots of variety. Personally, I mostly visit for the cold beer room. And now that they have a Growler Stop, I'll definitely be going more often.

A big struggle if you go there driving, you won't find the entrance unless you go all around the building, if you take a taxi then you better run and run faster.

My favourite LCBO in Ottawa! They sell growlers of local beer that isn't offered in cans. A great way to get good craft beer with less waste.
