I've been having my car for a little over a year now. I had a great buying experience, even good pay history with Lonestar. Never had a repo, nor any type of ill feelings with the company. I loved my experience with them and built a friendly rapport with them. I never called Lonestar for anything, but to pay. That was until I had my car accident . My truck was totaled! Lonestar management stated that the truck was repairable and we worked out an agreement. I didn't have to pay a deductible with my CPI or a payment. However, they held my truck for 2 whole months. When it came down to them finishing up repairs, every week was something different... They weren't upfront with me on several occasions regarding the status of repair. They insisted they didn't t want to rush, but I made them aware that I was on maternity leave, there wasn't any rush, however "THEY" kept insisting that it would be done this day, this day, this week, etc. It was one thing after the other. Well when I finally picked up my truck after 2 months, it was NOT the same. Not even a little. The parts were spaced all out, the hood aligned too far back to where my door pops when you open and close it, the fender is flaring from the bumper, and the grill is loose. Not only that, the model Commander I have had a chrome grill. The claimed they didn't know where the grill was and refused to place a Jeep emblem on the hood, stating that those are cosmetic parts. I didn't understand why the Jeep lettering/name in its rightful place would be considered cosmetic, but they put white pinstripes that weren't there at first on the sides of my vehicle. The owner refused to do any additional work, which was understandable regarding money, but I didn't think it was fair that I paid collateral protection, and they half did the job. No body shop will just half do a job without suffering consequences. The front end of my truck looks terrible, not to mention they super glued my antenna onto my truck because it fell in when I picked it up from them. The truck was totaled, I understand, but the shop manager, who was very nice and patient with me, claimed it could be repaired. I am also VERY APPRECIATIVE at the fact that I didn't have to pay the deductible, but I don't appreciate the treatment then after. They claimed my truck was put on the machine to ensure no mechanical work was needed, but 2 weeks later, which was Tuesday, my alternator failed. So I just picked the truck up from them. Prior to me picking the truck up, they sprung on me the demand to pay $711.00 stating that I was 3 payments behind before they could release my vehicle. Granted, the money was owed, but not at my fault. I was told by Chris that I didn't have to worry about a payment the 1st month they had the truck. Whenever Judy, the manager, would call me when it was time start payments back up, I paid them the payment that was asked of me! So after me having an issue with my repairs and them not being upfront and honest with me... They decided that they want to demand the month that I was told not to pay off bat. Talking to me as if I didn't make payments on time and as if I was a bad customer. I had been nothing but patient and polite to them, never having an issue with them. They treated me like nothing I had gone thru meant nothing. Yes, some people were nice and understanding, as well as good with communication. Rachel was even willing to mark my truck off as paid in full on my credit and give me a ride home.... To Dallas. But Judy was not as nice, unconcerned, and didn't want to bend, as if I were wrong about anything. After speaking with her personally, she was willing to take only 2 payments with nothing down on my repairs. So it worked out in my favor, but I had to rant and literally feel as if I wasn't being heard In Order for it to be done. I hate that my trust with them is gone and I'm not too fond of them anymore. I am seeking legal advice and also trying to contact the BBB regarding the behaviors and poor quality that was put into the repairs of my car.

Had a really good experience with Byron. I did an application online and he responded pretty quick to my inquiry. He sent me a list of things to submit and got them submitted quickly. They were willing to stay open late to make sure I had something for my appointments the following day which I appreciated. Great extension of customer service from the finance dept. I decided to wait until Saturday which was the next day. Went down early, tested a couple luxury cars and settled on the Mercedes E350. I get that no used car is perfect so I wasn’t complaining about the other cars I drove that I liked but didn’t live up to my expectations. I get it but as someone who drives daily and sometimes a good distance, I need something reliable but works for my position and I found what I was looking for. I waited to do my review because I wanted to see how it would hold and it’s still doing darn good… it’s not my fully loaded Cadillac but it’s a really good car and it is nice inside and out. The engine sounded good, no leaks, no shakes, they replaced the tire and I got the best service.. Finance team was quick and efficient. Smooth transition from sales to finance, paid my down payment which was a little high but again, used car lot with luxury cars(it could have been worse) signed my papers, got the keys and made all my appointments same day… I appreciate you guys taking care of me and making sure I was back on the road doing what I do. I’ll pay this one off and come back.

In the beginning, everything started off well until a few months ago my engine went out and I was out of a vehicle for 2 months. I paid the repair fee and got the car back in April and the day I got it back the engine was loose and the car was shaking when we pulled off 3 minutes down the road. We drove back they had some to check and said they fixed the issue a month later my car started shaking again and I asked did they had changed the oil and they said they did but no sticker was in the car it still had the same stick from 2022. Then my belt broke and I had a different mechanic put it on and they said whoever put my engine in didn't install it correctly then my car stopped again and they are telling me it's the engine that was replaced went out again and they will see if it's under warranty with the company. I had to call them they didn't reach out didn't provide any paperwork on the warranty and I already reported to BBB and I'm currently filing a lawsuit I repeat do not purchase you're vehicle from there my vehicle was in worse shape after I got it back. and now since I'm hiring an attorney they refused to give me any documents about my warranty and said they are going to send me a repossession letter for the vehicle that is not working and I voluntarily gave back after that Rachel said they are sending the vehicle to the junkyard anyway glad I recorded everything.

I cannot say enough how this was the best experience getting a car I ever had, or even seen happen!! I mean sincere, professional, very willing to help, not pushy. I came to Lonestar Motors 2 after being lied to and disappointed and scammed from other car dealerships. The car I was using was jacked up from the previous person and totally unsafe to drive now, and even though I had bad credit, a judgement popping up and a recent repo from me cosigning for someone...all I wanted was a break, a chance, especially for my kids! I was about to start renting a car monthly. Priscilla my saleswoman did not want me to do that! She was so caring and considerate, even staying late to take me in and get the application started as they were closing. I had to get my references checked and wait until Monday as I went in right at closing Saturday. She made me feel so comfortable and hopeful and I was finally not disappointed. I have another chance, with a great vehicle, great deal, and this was a great staff. Everyone was so polite and hospitable, not like they needed me, but they made me feel wanted and as if they were really working for me!! Process was amazingly fast..I have to tell you Im super impressed and I will tell everyone I know to come here for a car!

As I sit and read some of the awful thing some people have to say about this company, I’m blown away BECAUSE I have had nothing but AMAZING EXPERIENCES WITH LSM2. I’m literally on my 4th car u read right. I have purchased 1 2 3 4 cars from this company. I have never been threatened I have never been harassed I have only had one car problem with my 2nd car and they towed it fixed it and allowed me to pay on it along with my payments. They do work with u. However You can’t expect a car not to have any problems. Your buying a USED CAR!! U can’t be 19 2 weeks on your job and a week at your residence and expect ANY CAR COMPANY TO HAND YOU KEYS TO A NEWER CAR. You have to start from somewhere. Yes down payments can be high. It’s not their fault. Fix your credit. As I did! Who wants to be in a 5 to 7 year contract? Not me…. You pay your car off here within 3 years . I’m soooooo pleased with this place. The staff omg sooo cool and RACHEL IS MYYYYY GURL gotta love how honest and real she is.. Byron is amazing as well as Marco. Stop making these people seem like they just don’t care. Stay away from this place. I purchased a vehicle here out of desperation. The vehicle has a passing state inspection, but later I was told the engine light was disabled and the vehicle had several problems. The minute I drove off the lot the tape, glue, and screws literally started coming off. The emblem on the car was hot glued. The overhead TV fell off and you could see the patch work that was used to keep it together, the lining of the ceiling all fell, steering locked up, bolts on wheels came off, brakes didn’t work correctly. During the test drive none of this showed. If you want a safe and reliable vehicle this isn’t the place to get one. They are shady, overpriced, and scammers. They target individuals that have little knowledge about the law and for personal reasons can’t go to a legit car dealership. If you have purchased a pos vehicle from this place please report them to the attorney general, BBB, and the Texas DMV. It is illegal to sell a vehicle with a fraudulent state inspection sticker and it’s deceptive to disable the engine light on any vehicle.

This car lot is terrible. The people are rude and they misguide you. I bought a 2015 Impala from them. After test driving the vehicle I pointed out the things that needed to be fixed. They agreed to take care of the problems I left with the car and was told to just it back in two days for the repairs. They have had my car a whole week for something that they explained should only take a day or two to fix. I have yet to get my car back and they are expecting me to pay my car note and I have only had the car in my possession for two days. The sales people are rude and inconsiderate. We waited outside for the salesman whom we had an appointment with for over 20 minutes. Racheal the manager is not be trusted to keep her word. She mislead me for a entire week and trying to make it seems as if she was helping me. Loanstar Motor is a terrible place to purchase a vehicle. Be were of bad cars, bad salesman, and bad manager.

After having my car for about 30 days I can make an honest review. About 2 weeks after buying the car, the check engine light came on. I called and they said i could bring it in, but I didnt want to drop off my car because I work and its my only mode of transportation. Took it to autozone turned out to be a thermostat....got it fixed at my personal shop. I strongly suggest inspecting the vehicle very well before you buy. Byron will get you in a car for sure tho. The payments are a little steep. The main reason I gave 3 stars is because they dont allow you to do any uber eats or amazon flex in the vehicle and they put a tracking device in the vehicle to monitor that. So now I have to buy another vehicle to maintain my side hustle. Oh yea, the down payment on the vehicle I selected was 800 online but i ended up putting 1500 total.They did work with me tho.

I am only giving this place a 1 star so I can post a review. I am extremely unsatisfied with the lies I have been told regarding getting my plates for my car. I was told by Brent when I bought my car that I would for sure have my plates by the 3rd of the month. Every time I call about them they have an excuse not to mention the car has all kinds of warning lights coming on not even 2 days later and the car appears to have been wrecked and poorly repaired. Ok so adding to this post as after speaking with Rachel a couple times today she has gotten the title lady to push my paperwork through and get my plates so I will be picking them up tomorrow. (THANKS RACHEL) My only issue now are the text messages I have received from Brent giving me attitude for telling the truth. Not professional in my opinion

man CHRIS is the BEST I've ever worked with in my life with getting a vehicle. I walked into the car lot after having communication with him regarding getting me in a vehicle, and he made that walk here worth it! He literally fought tooth and nail for me until he got me approved! He kept in mind the amount i made an hour and the fact that i am a single father of TWO young boys! He informed me every step of the way the steps being taken so that i wouldn't be sitting in limbo and he made sure that i was VERY WELL taken care of. I'd send ANY AND EVERYONE i know to this car lot and specifically to CHRIS!!!!!! I could do nothing but keep shaking his hand and saying thank you!!!!!!! Let me start off and say that my overall experience was far from great. I'm so disappointed and dissatisfied. I purchased my car on Jan 20th and from that time found out my car has a plethora of problems. I honestly felt like I got sold just anything just to make a sale. Byron, the sales guy wasn't that great. I felt like I was being rushed and did not receive the best car salesman experience at all. I was never shown the inside of the car which has more problems and was never given the full details of the car. I'm very angry and disappointed and honestly wish I had thought this through before purchasing a car from this place.

My brother first went out to look at the cars at LSM II and was helped by Brent. Brent was incredibly busy but never made you feel that you weren't important. We test drove a few cars and found the one we wanted but had a couple concerns. Brent saw to it that the issues were fixed and followed through on a couple things that were needed after I took the car. This was a fantastic experience for a woman that doesn't know much about cars or buying them. I truly feel that we were dealt with honestly and with integrity. I will and do recommend LSM II and Brent to anyone looking for a good car and an honest straight forward deal.

Management did not show any concerns, remorse, or even cared about my situation in lowering my payments. They did not try to work with me and did not get back to me promptly. Very dry in response when I finally spoke with them which took 3 days to even get someone on the phone. They need to improve customer service and building rapport with their present buyers as well as future buyers. My advice to you who are interested in buying with them is to be aware that you may end up with a 2007 year model vehicle paying the same care note amount that you would for a 2014 - 2017. DONT BE A SUCKER LIKE ME!!!!

I wanted to take the time to say how much I appreciate Billy for taking the times to learn our needs and wants for our new family vehicle. I absolutely hate the car buying process and he made this process so smooth and I really appreciate him for that. When you go to other dealerships they try to just rip you off and throw you in any vehicle that they can find, They don't care if it's something you already expressed you didn't want. A friend of mine purchased his car from Lone Star Motors and referred me and I was not disappointed. In 2012 after searching the lot I noticed a 2006 Chevy Malibu (with 70k miles) in the back that had my name all over it! After making the down payment I drove it off the lot and it has been Mr. Reliable for the past 7 years. I had never had an issue with the car until last year, which was only due to modern wear and tear. I would definitely purchase my next vehicle from them. I only gave 4 stars because there was miscommunication on a few occasions.

Purchased an Impala that ended being a pretty good dependable car. I've had it over 2 years now. I've taken it in a few times for repair and them allowing the payment option on repairs helped me a lot. My only complaint my car has a minor leak that they seem not to find that I have taken in 3xs to fix that is not fixed! All the other wear and tear issues we're fixed but this one. Car still leave s spots every where I park I hated it. Bad part taking it back leaves me without a car so it is what it is. But people are nice and help out .

But the negative reviews are ignored by them. Instead of trying to figure out how they can provide great customer service they ignore the people who had a bad experience on only respond to the people who have been lucky enough to not have their cars break down yet. Byron was amazing & so was the lady who did the paperwork and took the payment. I came in after 5pm on a Friday and they stayed late to assist. I'm very happy with my purchase and how much they were able to work with my credit & unique job situation. There's a great selection of vehicles and they will even help repair your vehicle if it ever has a need. Very professional, nice and organized. Everything was very low pressure and they really provide customer service too. Thank you again!

This is the worst place to get a car. First of all they said the down payment would be $1000. After I paid the $1000. All of a sudden it went to $1400. But they wanted me to pay off the 400 over a two week period. After having car for less than 24 hours check engine light came on. I took it to AutoZone and it was the catalytic converter. I would never recommend this place to nobody. You will probably find a better car at the junkyard. Don't waste your time or money.

They will repo if 1 day late on payment!!! Stay away from this place!!! I should have known to turnaround and leave when my first time walking in this place no one greets you. You can just walk right in and straight to the back and no one would notice smh. Place is a scam with ugly and rude people. Won't be in business too much longer for sure.
