Poor quality furniture, poor sales and follow up process and a scam of a warranty I purchased 4 pieces of furniture a couple months ago from this LA-Z-Boy location, expecting that it would be a high quality experience all around, as LA-Z-Boy is (or so I thought) a well-respected and globally-recognized brand. Everything went OK at first, and the salesperson was helpful. As we progressed on with the process and I made an order and then made a few changes to my order while waiting for delivery, the whole process started to feel a bit more like buying a used car than buying premium furniture. The furniture arrives and of the 4 pieces I took delivery on, there were issues with 3 of them - having 75% of the pieces arrive defective is insane for a company that charges this much for furniture. Unfortunately I only noticed the defect on one of the pieces within the 3 day return period so am forced to deal with their terrible warranty process for the others (more on that later). I also called the store and asked for an updated invoice. This was a business purchase, so our accountant needed a full breakdown of the charges. Throughout the entire sales process, trying to get an itemized receipt or invoice for what I was buying was like pulling teeth - they kept acting like it was a strange request. My belief is they were just trying to talk about the total cost and not let me see how anything broke down - they didn't include any invalid charges, but not being transparent with the invoices was a huge red flag to me. When asking for a final invoice they seemed confused as to why I would want that but agreed to send it to me via email. What I received via email was a spreadsheet with info manually put into it. Not an invoice. Not a receipt. Not anything with a LA-Z-Boy company letterhead. An Excel they filled in with my charges. I'm dumbfounded not only at how unprofessional that is, but how they didn't have a proper one to send me. Now, onto the warranty process for my other 2 defective items. Their warranty process is a joke. There is no portal or other means of officially filing a claim. The official process is "Call Yolanda at X number, leave a message and she'll call you back" Seriously, that's the process. This worked "OK" to get a technician out to look at the chairs and order the parts needed. I needed to call Yolanda back when the parts arrived to set up an appointment for repair. I called last week and waited close to a week with no answer. Called back this morning and left another message. She calls me back today claiming she called me back and left messages last week - I have no record of a call or voicemail from her. They won't be able to send someone out to service the chair for an entire month. This is meant to be my wife's nursing chair and she is likely to be in labor at that time. It would also put it at 2 whole months since I originally initiated the warranty process of "calling Yolanda". 2 months to get a chair repaired that arrived defective, under warranty. This is also the saem warranty they try to sell you an extended version of in the store. THE ABSOLUTE BIGGEST SCAM OF ANYTHING RELATED TO THIS STORE IS THE EXTENDED WARRANTY. Their warranty has been frustratingly poor and difficult to use and I'm still in the standard manufacturer's warranty - I would be irate if i had actually paid for the extended warranty. I'm also willing to bet the majority of salesperson's commissions come not from the chair but from the warranties - making me even gladder I didn't spend more on something that is of almost zero value. To recap: - bad sales process similar to a used car lot - 3/4 pieces arrived defective - Low quality furniture that arrived defective (and has particle board underneath) - Unable to obtain a proper invoice and was provided a "spreadsheet" invoice - Warranty process feels like we are in the 1980's in terms of making a claim - Warranty repairs will take a minimum of 2 months from start to finish - Who knows what sort of issues lie ahead
Lebco Industries, (dba La-Z-Boy Furniture), Austin, TX. I purchased two recliners from the La-Z-Boy store in south Austin on Saturday, September 28, 2019. I paid a 50% deposit with my credit card, was told by the sales rep that the chairs would likely be delivered in 5-6 weeks and the balance would be charged to my credit card upon delivery. On Monday November 11, I received a call on from the store notifying me that the chairs were scheduled for delivery on Saturday, November 16 which would be 7 weeks to the day after the order was placed. The delay in receipt of the chairs was an inconvenience, but what I consider unacceptable follows; I was told that I needed to pay the balance that day or the chairs would not be delivered on the 16th. I explained that I had been told the balance was to be paid on the day of delivery. But the store representative informed that was not the case and that I had to pay immediately or the delivery would not be made. To avoid a further delay, I paid the balance so my chairs would be delivered and requested that the customer service manager call me so I could register a complaint regarding the lead time misinformation and their collection tactics, both of which I consider unprofessional. I did not receive the call I requested from the customer service manager. Again, unprofessional. ---------------------------------------------- Update #1: After a seven week wait for the delivery of my two recliners, I must say I am very disappointed. The arms on one of my new recliners is wrinkled. It appears they did not draw the material tight enough during construction. It looks awful. I called customer service who is sending a technician to look at it. The problem is I will have to wait another 2-1/2 weeks for the technician to show. ---------------------------------------------- Update #2: The technician showed 2-1/2 weeks after I requested the service call. He was here for under 10 minutes, took some pictures, stated that someone would call me regarding the next step. --------------------------------------------- Update #3: It's now been a week since the technician was here and I am still waiting to hear from customer support in the hopes they will fix my chair. I have made several calls to La-Z-Boy but I am only able to leave messages. _____________________________ Update #4: This is unbelievable. I finally received a call from La-Z-Boy service (1 week after the technician was at my home). They stated that the inspection showed no issues with the recliner when in fact there is. They told me they would do nothing about it. This is preposterous given the severe fabric wrinkling on the chair arms which were present upon delivery and have gotten worse since. Take a look at this picture and judge for yourself. I filed a complaint with the BBB who indicated that they requested a response from Lebco by 12/31/19. No surprise, there has been no response from Lebco. I suggest you reconsider purchasing any product from Lebco. Their customer service is terrible and their product is not much better. ---------------------------------------------- Update #5: It's now October, 2020 which is over a year since my purchase. Lebco was to have responded to my BBB filing by December 19, 2019. They did not respond until now. Ridiculous! In typical fashion, Lebco responded by stating that there was nothing wrong with the chair and they would do nothing about it. What the heck is going on? This is a defective chair and they refuse to do anything about it. I followed all the rules and they refuse to fix their product. Again, I highly recommend that you drive right past the La-Z-Boy showroom and go elsewhere for your purchase. These people are not customer centric. They will happily take your money and not provide any service.
We were pregnant and in need of a gliding chair to be used when the baby arrived. We had a timeline we needed to be sure to meet, because we needed the chair before the arrival of the baby. The salesperson assured us it would arrive before our due date which was 9 weeks out. A few weeks after placing the order, we called to check on the status and they told us the order was now scheduled to be completed in 18 weeks rather than the communicated 9 weeks. We asked to speak to the store manager about the substantial delay which was twice as long as what we were told. He picked up the phone in a defensive tone and before even discussing the issue, immediately started pointing to fine print in the agreement that essentially grants the store the ability to deliver the furniture whenever they want, regardless of what they told us when we placed the order. We asked if there was anything they could possible do for us given the bad situation we were now in with the newborn and no chair. Could they provide a loaner chair, expedite the delivery, provide a discount, free pillow, free scotch guarding, cancel the order and refund the deposit etc? He said they would do nothing for us and simply continued to mention the agreement fine print. We were finally able to get him to concede to call the factory and ask for an expedited delivery. He said he would call me back in a few days with an update. It's been over a month since that conversation and we have still received no updates, no chair and no contact attempts from the manager. I don't know when we ever will ever receive the chair. I would much prefer to cancel my order and buy a chair somewhere else. I may have to take the store to small claims court unfortunately. I understand that things happen in production, but the unprofessional, unhelpful and combative tone taken by the manager is completely unnecessary. Rather than try to understand the situation and provide assistance to the customer, he hides behind the small print and takes an adversarial approach. He has also completely disregarded his commitment to follow up with us. If you value customer service and a level of professionalism from those you do business with, I would recommend shopping elsewhere. There's too many other options to do business with a store that is run like this. Once they get your deposit, they couldn't care less about you as a customer. P.S. I really wish I would have checked these reviews prior to placing my order. It seems mine is not an isolated experience. P.S.S. Sent Michele an email 6 days ago per recommendation of the owner. Have not received any sort of follow up or reply. There seems to be a recurring theme here....
I'd love to give a better review but there is no furniture to give a review on. We enjoyed the shopping experience and ultimately ordered 3 peices. We were told that "due to COVID and special order fabric" it would be 6 months for delivery or possibly sooner. That was 1/1/21. Today is 7/5/21. We were never called and given any update regarding the status. I've had to call each time to request an update where we are in the process and last month when I called I recived a very turce response (almost scolding me) from the saleswoman "Ma'am, we want this to be delivered as much as you do, we don't get commission until it's delivered to you. " she added that they check the orders daily and often the dates are extended with no warning or explanation to them. Since we had been told that it would initially be a "6 months or sooner wait" we got rid of our old furniture to make room in the beginning of June. When I called to check delivery we were told mid July. I called again and was told August. Had I not have called we still would be in the dark. If they are indeed checking daily they could at least update their customers. We are very unhappy with this level of service. It would make more sense if this were coming from a discount furniture distributor but we ordered a table from a discount distributor on the same day and are already enjoying our beautiful table and chairs for the last 4 months. I sincerely wish we would have checked the reviews before ordering. We blindly believed that it would not be an issue at all given Laz e boy has been around for ages. With no recourse to cancel and order elsewhere here we are sitting on lawn furniture in our living room until they somehow decide to deliver our order. Edit 1: husband called and spoke with a gentleman that told him the chair was there but that the rest of the order would be ready end of July or possibly early August. Edit 2: we've called again and now been told it may be sometime in September.
Very disappointing experience. My wife and I found a great couch that we wanted to purchase and actually planned to buy two of them. We noticed that the sale price marked on the sofa that was on the showroom floor seemed almost too good to be true so I asked an associate to confirm if that was the price for the model that I wanted to purchase. After several minutes, I followed up with the associate and was told that was the correct price, so I decided to buy two of the couches. The associate wrote up my ticket and when I returned from gaining approval for the financing, I was told that they had actually incorrectly marked the sofa and had spoken with the owner of franchises in Dallas, and was told that they could not sell me the sofa at that price. I’m not sure why I was originally told that the price was accurate and then they proceeded to continue going up their chain to continue confirming. The whole process felt dishonest and they were not willing to accept responsibility for their mistake and honor the price that they marked the sofa. I think that they have a great product; however, if the ownership of this store is willing to walk away from a sale of two couches and provide such a disappointing customer experience, then I guess I will find another franchise not owned by this individual, or go with another furniture manufacturer. I hope that this is an isolated incident and other customers are treated much better than what my wife and I experienced. This has left me with a very negative view of La-Z-Boy and the care that they have for their customers.
Ordered a $1700.00 recliner with a swivel base and they sent me the FLOOR MODEL. I purchased a brand new chair and was never told that I would receive the FLOOR MODEL. The only reason I found out I had the floor model was because I went back to the store to compare the floor model with the one I ordered. Roxanne Told me the chair had been moved in the store. ( which is a lie ). When I did talk to James the store manager he told me that I have the floor model in my house. I asked why I have the floor model when they took detailed instructions for my custom order. He said it was miscommunication between us and said He would order me another chair. Great ( I thought). so now the second chair was supposed to be here on March 18. When I called on March 20 They told me the chair was at the store and they were waiting for a balance of $1300.00 fir the chair that I had already paid for. This time when I went to the store to find out what was going on, they said my chair was ordered wrong and did not have the swivel base and it was still in Dallas. They do not know what the truth is. I ended up calling a lazyboy store in San Antonio and reordered the exact same chair for $1200.00 with the same warranty.Watch out for this store in south Austin they will take advantage of you.
Worst service experience I have ever had in my 50+ years of buying furniture. I was unable to talk to a person when I called to report the problem; was told my call would be returned within 24 hours. It didn't happen. Finally received a call three days later and was advised the recliner would be picked up in a week and the repair would take two weeks. You guessed it. Two weeks later I had to callback to check on the chair and was told that the chair had been repaired and would be delivered a week later anytime on a Saturday. No four hour window time could be established. I waited all day Saturday and no delivery. I bought the extended warranty on the chair and was told if the chair had to be taken away for an extended length, I would be given a loaner. It didn't happen either. I am a 76 year old retired person who used the chair daily. This has been a trying experience. At one time Lazyboy was considered to be one of the best firms to do business with. Not any more!! When I complained to the local sales manger, she said she had no control of the repair department and could not even give me the name of a higher level repair manager.Color me throughly frustrated! I will never do business with Lazyboy .again. The whole place appears to be run by melinneals.
My filing with the BBB: 1-The new sofa is 100% La-Z-Boy and I bought under this assumption as also indicated by the sign on the store , the salesman business card and the tag on the sofa. No where it was mentioned that this is an independent store, nor i was informed that La-Z-Boy Inc. is not connected with the store in Austin. 2-This sofa is a "LEMON" from day one it was knocking and squealing. To repair it it would mean the it has to re-manufactured from scratch as was confirmed by La-Z-Boy Inc. technician that inspected the sofa in my home. 3-If this brand new La-Z-Boy Inc. sofa has to be remanufactured, then it is not new, but rather "RECONDITIONED" or it will become "RECONDITIONED" after the 3 weeks it takes to re-manufacture it. Or maybe it was a reject from another customer that was resold to me as is. 4-I will be filling a court case by Monday against La-Z-Boy Inc. and their so called "INDEPENDENT" dealer in Austin! 5-La-Z-Boy Inc. have cheated me and sold me an expensive "LEMON" and they should be stopped from doing the same to other innocent hardworking consumers who trust this fake brand called "La-Z-Boy Inc" Thank you for being there for me and for closing this important case unfairly.
UPDATE: Stella helped resolve this issue with 100% satisfaction. Buyer beware. Ordered Cocktail/sofa end table in Feb 2023. Order arrived last week of March. Cocktail table had a defect on the top/embossed concrete and several scratches on the metal frame. I asked the delivery men if they had anything to touch up the scratches. They said they did not, and I then noticed the finish was also rough and uneven in that area. I called the sales office and they said they would take a look at it and get back with me. Over 24 hours later, I called and again speaking to Jennifer was told she emailed customer service and they would get back with me on Mon...in another 4 days. I told her I was unhappy with the service and that I just like a full refund. She made no attempt to convince me they would make everything right - instead threatening to charge a %50 restock fee for me refusing defective merchandise. What happened to quality merchandise, customer service and trust? Again, Buyer Beware!
I called this location frantically needing a nursing chair due to an incident with well known baby furniture store that apparently is known to lie to it’s customers and execute shady business policies. This left me without the chair I bought & paid for in full, right before my due date. Stella was amazing, and although she didn’t have a chair that would fit my needs that I could take home from her store, she called around to other La-Z-Boy stores in Austin and found a beautiful nursing chair at the Round Rock location that I would be able to take off of the floor and would be a perfect fit for what I wanted and needed. She was so kind and helpful, and that’s customer service that is hard to find anymore. Although I did not buy from her location, La-Z-Boy has a customer for life. Thank you, Stella! I love my new chair and I am so appreciative of the extra effort taken to help me.
i've never had a laZboy, but i am in the market for a recliner. the brand name is well known and i headed down to the one in south Austin to look at the selection. the manager proceeded to help us only she wasn't very helpful. she seemed annoyed at my questions and when i asked her to show me how to adjust the recliner for tightness, she expected me to do the work. i didn't say anything, but why should i do her job? and what if i was injured? i did find something i like only i don't want her to get the commission. i was resolved to order online, however it looks like the options to order online require you to pick a store location to order from. i'm beginning to become discouraged with the business model at laZboy and i will probably get a recliner from somewhere else, however i haven't ruled out going to san antonio, however one thing is certain and that is i hate this store.
I needed to get a new couch, but I wasn't in a hurry. This gave me time to really shop around for the best quality at a reasonable price. I tried some of the usual places like Havertys (overpriced for what you get) and Ashley Homestore (cheaply made) before giving La-Z-Boy a try. I'll admit, I really only knew about their chairs, but I was highly impressed with their showroom and selection. James was extremely helpful, and was able to direct me to exactly what I was looking for. Their furniture was modern, well-made, fairly-priced, and fit nicely in my home. I ended up ordering a couch and a chair, and it was delivered in just a few days. So far, I have no complaints, and the quality of construction is evident. The whole team at La-Z-Boy was courteous and professional, and I recommend them to anyone looking to purchase furniture in South Austin or the surrounding areas.
I’ve had an awful experience with this store. I ordered a recliner last December. The salesperson assured me it would be here in May. May came and went and no word from the store. Finally I call and am told it would be September. I told them I wanted the $1300 back that I gave them as a deposit. I got all this talk about “special order” and “restocking fees” and that I signed a contract with fine print that I agreed to all of this despite what the salesperson told me. I don’t know how businesses like this stay in business. Their customer service is awful. I’m so tired of businesses that have so little regard for the customer. I just want my $1300. I’ll never deal with them again. I really wish I had read the reviews before doing business with this store.
Service after the sale is the worst I've ever experienced. My sofa recliner broke 5 months after delivery. A plastic part. A complete side assembly needed replacement. LebCo Industries is the out sourced service company. Voice mail phone number. Good luck on catching the return call. The CallerID is the name of a previous employee. They left a message to call the voice mail number back and then derided me about not answering their call. LebCo did not provide any updates about part order or followup. Did not answer my email asking for more information 6 weeks later. They deliver the part to your address, but don't provide tracking info. Sure LazBoy furniture is comfortable, but caveat...plastic parts and very very poor customer oriented service.
Don't buy from here. For the price, they don't stand by their products, and the service is terrible. Our experience has been a nightmare. $5k+ for a sofa and chair. We ordered in December, and the sofa didn't arrive until late October. In less than a year, the $2700 leather sofa is coming apart in one corner. It is impossible to contact anyone; they never answer the phone; it took at least six attempts to get them to reply to my emails. Not that it mattered, because they refuse to honor their warranty, the 3-year extended warranty I purchased, or the 5-year "protection plan I purchased. This isn't the same company as it was in the past; quality and service are no longer valued.
I stopped by La-Z-Boy Furniture around lunch time on a Saturday and was greeted by the manager Stella. I had fallen and skinned my knee in the HEB parking lot before arriving; I went to the restroom to clean up and Stella offered me a band aid. I wanted a massage and heat recliner, so she showed me the 2 models. I chose one, which was in stock, and Stella helped me with the self-financing kiosk. Fortunately the warehouse had one chair in stock, which I was able to hold until after I move in early August. Stella gave me the number to set up a future delivery date when available. My experience was excellent and I was in and out in under an hour.
I went to purchase a power recliner for my husband who had broken his neck. He was in a rehab hospital and I wanted to have the recliner in place when he came home. The person I worked with was helpful. The chair was delivered the day my husband came home from the hospital. I was not home when the chair was delivered as I was picking my husband up from the hospital and had a friend accept the delivery. I had specifically said it would be best to not have a rocker, but the chair does rock. Under the circumstances it was overwhelming to try to switch the chair for one that doesn’t rock. We have worked around the rocker and we do like the chair.
Very disappointed with this store. The salesperson helping us said the sofa was in stock but the love set had to be a special order. He said the love seat would take 6 weeks to be delivered and ended up being 6 months. So he lied just to get the sale.My main concern was that both sofas would have the same fabric from the same dye lot. That was my main concern. I felt that the manager of this store in South Park if he had any customer service training he would at least called the day of delivery to see if everything was okay.Never heard from anyone. This is my 4th time buying La Z-Boy furniture.I would never recommend this store.
I am so disappointed in my La-Z-Boy couch, I paid $1800.00 for a couch that is crooked. I have had the technician out 5 times to try to fix the problem. He even replaced both recliners, this did help for awhile but not its worse than before. Both ends are sitting 2 inches lower than the middle. Customer service is not very helpful at all. I am so embarrassed when some one comes into my home and says "Oh this is your new couch. Whats wrong with it? " Its pretty obvious it so crooked. I have been a La-z-boy customer all my life, till now. I would never suggest to anyone to buy La-Z-Boy ever again Disappointed Customer
Will never buy anything from this company again in my life. They clearly don't stand behind their product. What a joke of a company. I bought a chair from them Dec 2016. It comes with a 1 year warrantee. Of course a couple months after the warrantee was up, the chair broke. I called, and I was told I have to pay to have it fixed. And what ever is fixed is only has a 90 day warrantee. So I am supposed to believe that after they replace the crappy original parts with more crappy parts, that the chair will hold up. Run the opposite way, don't ever buy from this company!!!
Wow what a terrible company this is! My wife and I bought a coffee table for close to $450 that fell apart is less than 2 years. I ended up selling it for $50 just to recover something. When I contacted customer service they blew me off and told me to find someone in town to help me refinish it. Really, I have to pay to refinish YOUR terrible product? What a joke! They wouldn't even offer a discount on a new one for the inconvenience. If you're looking for furniture go to Louis Shanks or Star. We certainly will NEVER be shopping here again.
Stay away from this store. I purchased a sofa on my birthday of last year. Put down $300 deposit. Six months after purchased never received the sofa-James Heard indicated the product was not in stock. I requested the return of my deposit and he said they would only waive delivery fee. Never received the couch. They were satisfied with keeping my deposit when I indicated this was very telling about their business practices. Don't do business with them. Do business with reputable companies that deliver what you purchased.
Purchased two chairs in July. October 10. No chairs, no communication. No refund! We ordered two chairs in mid-July. We paid for the chairs. We were told there was 92% likelyhood they would be ready in 9 - 12 weeks. No communication. On the 12th week I call to inquire about delivery. DECEMBER is the revised date for a July order. Maybe delays due to COVID. But zero communication. They didn't call me about the delay. I called to cancel the order. The manager said he'd look into and call back. Nothing! Buyer beware!!!!
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE!! DO NOT BUY THE WARRANTY!!! Two months of purchasing a $1200 recliner, I noticed damage on the back. Called the warranty that was SUPPOSED to cover accidental damage. I did not know how the damage occurred, so my accidental coverage was VOID! Called and spoke with manager who gave me Sarah in the district office number; he said "she will take care of me." Sure she will for $441. WOW LAZYBOY!!! This was my first new furniture purchase and my last here. YOU ARE A CON!!! BACK YOUR PRODUCT!!!
After waiting nine months, I finally received two chairs. Within 12 hours, springs fell off of one. Now I have to wait another month before a repair man will come. UPDATE: After 4 days, the "service" manager, Michelle Mauldin, finally called back and refused to help. When I asked for her boss, she said that she was in charge of the whole company and no one was above her. If they have such a good product, how come their repair people are booked a month ahead?
Kevin was an exceptional representative for the company. He was patient and knowledgeable and led me in the right direction for choosing a chair that fits me well. I would have gone with other options based on my preference of looks, but choosing a recliner based on comfort for life is the key. Thank you Kevin for teaching me the value of fitting and being so patient during the selection process.
If I could give a negative I would, I know exactly what I wanted thought we would look around a little before i buy. Was approached by sales staff she was extremely rude I asked for her business card and found out she was the manager. If I want you not have ran into her I would have bought my two new recliners and walk out fortunately lazy boy you just lost that sale and all future sales.
I spent about an hour there review each chair, experiencing each chair as well as cost values. Heather was vey patient.... Gave me details on every chair I sat in. She was not pushing at all. I was there to purchase a chair, not to be hostage into buying one. I would recommend this location to anyone to purchase their chairs. The showroom had many to choose from as well. Thank you.! DRA
Great shopping experience. Lots of free parking. Store clean and attractive. Wide selections displayed on the floor, in both styles and colors. Heather listened carefully to what I needed and showed me multiple options that fit the bill. She was efficient and knowledgeable -- knew her business. I selected two chairs that were in stock and will be delivered in two weeks. Amazing!
My husband and I had such a wonderful experience shopping for our La-Z-Boy recliner and L sectional. Stella was so helpful with picking out colors, fabrics, designs, etc…. She was very thorough and professional. I highly recommend going to see her if you’re in the market for some furniture! We are so looking forward to our cozy custom delivery to arrive in our home shortly.
Satisfied with the ability to get what desire and always a good product, but I don’t get why the store is unable to give me an item that day within the store if they have something I like. Instead I have to pay $38 to have it delivered to their store from the warehouse in Dallas for me to pickup. Opted for that instead of a $100 delivery to my place 3 weeks later.
We have visited this particular showroom twice in the past 2 weeks. We chose Laz-Boy due to its historical reputation of well-made furniture which us high quality and built to lasts. Amy is knowledgeable of the furniture styles and textiles available. She gave us plenty of time to make our decision, and did not hover over us. This is what we appreciated the most.
My experience was wonderful until I decided on a purchase and I would like to bring it home with me or pick it up tomorrow, can't do it they said. I can either drive to Round Rock from South Austin and pay them $35 to load it in my truck or I can have it delivered to my house for $100. Won't be buying it from them. If I could pick it up for free I would do that.
Fantastic customer service. Stella was stellar! She answered all of my questions and assisted me with picking out the perfect recliner, personalized for my specific needs. I really couldn't have had a better experience. Go see Stella if you're interested in purchasing a Lay-Z-Boy you won't be disappointed. Shoutout too Jennifer as well.
The manager of the store is a terrible person. We called in about a couch we found online and we were told the price would be honored if we took a picture of it and brought it in the store. We brought it in the next day and they said they were no longer honor the price because the price has gone up. Shop anywhere else but this location.
Stella Barnette was a great help today. She was patient with us as we shopped throughout the store. La-Z-Boy in Southpark Meadows is the store for me. I will recommend them to anyone shopping for furniture. Thank you Stella for all your help. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We just ordered two recliners and a couch from Lazy Boy and we are taking delivery two weeks after we ordered. Every other furniture store we visited told us December at the earliest for delivery on anything we ordered. Larry Lust assisted us and I can’t say enough about how helpful he was in assisting us with our selection.
Visit to La-Z-Boy was fantastic, do many really nice chairs to try out!! Your sales representative, Larry Lust, was excellent at his job, and at helping me see all the possibilities in each type of chair, so I felt I had full knowledge with which to make a choice. I love the one I picked, & have been thoroughly enjoying it!
Not a Great store as claimed to be, clearance items are damaged and won't state as is and won't replace after spending 2800.00 and waiting 6 months. The South store does not honor defective items. My chairs are making coming apart and the rug leaves dush, power and is unweaving Not properly sewed on edges. Never again.
My experience with La-Z-Boy Furniture Gallery was marvelous. They waited until I was ready to ask questions, and they were very intelligent with all of their answers. My experience with this store was very comfortable for me and the sales person was very helpful and knowledgeable about their products. Dennis Patrick
We walked in knowing exactly what we needed and 45 minutes later we walked out having purchased a custom sleeper sofa. Larry was a great salesman, knowledgeable and friendly without being pushy. We buy LaZBoy because of the American made quality and durability, and I'm sure this purchase won't disappoint.
The sales person was as helpful as she could be. There was plenty to look at. The big problem was that nothing was available for at least a month, could draw from other stores but what we wanted not available. Ordering something room 8 months. Wish we had known this before we even went to the store
I wish I can gave a 0 review. I came 3 months ago for a living room and the price was 5000$. I came back again today and they put a black Friday deal and the price jump to 6500$. Do you think the people stupid? We were ready to buy it today but unfortunately they don't care about there customers.
The showroom was dazzling! Everything was clean and in harmonious arrangement. The sales rep, Amy, who sold me the "Maverick" model, was exceptionally knowledgeable and patient with me through my entire experience. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.
This furniture is not worth buying. Very cheaply made , over priced and low quality. It was special made took forever. Then I ordered some material to cover a chair and it was expensive and still did not have enough to cover the chair. Will never do business with them again.
Nice quality couches that you can purchase they have a lot of choices and fabrics that you can get your couch in the accessories are high I wouldn't have suggest going there for accessories for your home but you can't go wrong on getting a good quality couch there.
Store manager helped us, provided excellent service without being pushy. Purchased two chairs that happened to be in clearance and we were treated the same as if we were purchasing the most expensive item in the store. Can’t wait for the chairs to be delivered!
I've never been to a la-z-boy furniture store before so Peter made it very easy to navigate the sales floor. Let me tell you that this furniture is well worth the price, especially if you can find a good sale. So comfortable, you've made a believer in me.
Purchased a leather recliner approximately 2 years ago and the finish on the headrest is coming off. Contacted Dallas office and was told the leather was only warranted for a year. My last leather Lazy Boy lasted for many years. Will not buy another one.
Staff was very nice and led me to exactly what I wanted. Love that La-Z-Boy had kept up with the times and am thrilled with the modern sleek and comfortable design of the Forum recliner. It's not my Dad's recliner. Fits my small space wonderfully.
I had a good experience shopping at the Southpark showroom, in this new age and new normal! They were careful to maintain our new guidelines while showing their wonderful furniture. The sales staff were friendly, professional and knowledgeable.
We started looking at furniture several weeks ago. Our salesman was patient and understood we needed to talk about it. We returned and bought what we had wanted. The down side is we won’t be able to get our furniture until August or September!
We have bought several recliners here over many years. They are great quality. They are not the least expensive chairs, but they do last very well and are comfortable. The store is easy to walk around, sales people are nice. Not overly pushy.
This rating is for the store, not the furniture, which was ordered but isn't scheduled to arrive for a few weeks. The store was clean and uncluttered. Michael Hurley, my sales consultant, was great and made sure my order was what I wanted.
Wow! What a store. Great selection of furniture in stock, ready for delivery. I love the idea of being able to special order different fabric choices. Great in store atmosphere. Knowledgeable, no pressure sales associates. NICE!
Never buy lazy boy leather. Bonded leather that cracks and peels in two years and they won't cover it. They have really cheapened the brand in my opinion. Foam cushioning is also giving up with only light use. Horrible purchase.
We have owned various pieces from La-Z-Boy over the years and they have always held up better than furniture we bought elsewhere. Kevin was very helpful, yet low key, as we went through our decision making process at the store.
Bad customer service. I was at the store last week for a sofa and the gave me a price. After one week I back again to buy it and they gave me different price with a very high price. I will never ever come to this store again.
The personal were very helpful and made my shopping experience very pleasant. I have a breathing problem and was able to sit as all paperwork was completed and brought to me to sign saving me from having to do much walking.
My wife & I got just the Recliner we wanted. It's a love, hate relationship with my recliner. I keep falling asleep before I finish watching my TV show. Actually Best investment I've made in a long time. Sales was great.
We haven't purchased our furniture yet. Love the quality compared to other big box stores. I understand paying a higher price point for better quality but the optional add on fabric protection is a little pricy.
Ami was very sweet and helpful. Was able to get my couch and ottoman delivered earlier than other lazy boy stores closer to me. So glad I made the drive to Austin all the way from Gatesville. Thanks ...Ami Beth
Great service. Thought I knew what I wanted but kept changing my mind. Larry took the time to point out all the features of each recliner and gave me plenty of time to make up my mind. Will shop there again.
We had a positive experience working with the salesman at La-Z-Boy. We are excited to receive our recliners and sofa. We expected a higher price point with the sales going on it was easy on the wallet too!
I was very happy with my new chair except I felt there is not enough padding in the back cushion . I looked on line and it looks like that chair is just made like that . It looks wrinkled all the time .
Sales person was good, but both chairs we ordered are defective for different reasons. Left a message with a contact person to arrange to have them fixed but no returned call. Very disappointed
We enjoyed the shopping experience and the many selections and options they had available. The sales person was very knowledgeable and we were able to find exactly what we wanted.
Lol nice to know they still offer the same quality and service they did 8 years ago...none ...and same # complaints now with BBB. Plenty. Haha and yet the complaints continue. Lol
Kevin, our salesperson gave us enough time for ourselves to shop and was fully engaged when we chose to buy. Great showroom. Excellent covid protocol followed and easy financing
So this is a hard one to review. My favorite chair in the entire house came from La-z-Boy. But the sales people are horrible. It feels like searching for a diamond in the rough.
Large showroom with lots of furniture to test, love the new modern styles based on size and color. Found the perfect 2 chairs and they were in stock! Very nice salesman too.
Every one was very nice and helpful Especially Heather. She showed us many recliners till we found the right one. Would recommend this store to anyone ❤️ …
Nicely laid out store. Been looking for something a little larger than a normal single chair and they had one for sale that was perfect. Always liked la-z-boy quality.
Stevey was super nice. Did not feel any pressure to purchase. Was given pricing and fliers upon request. Was informed of upcoming sale. Showroom floor is immaculate.
Wonderful help from Amy and Joe! Many choices on Recliner Rockers and options: power, material, styles. Need to order at this point due to short supply due to Covid.
Easy and friendly...looked no pressure, when wife found what she wanted...Larry helped us and made us feel like we made a quality decision...thanks again...
Terrible service, not able to purchase and pick up any items at this location. Must pay them a delivery fee or drive to round rock to their "warehouse".
Great experience, organized store, and the sales rep was patient and knowledgeable. I highly recommend shopping for furniture here! I love my recliner!
The service is excellent @ all furniture will last a lifetime! I'll be back soon to finish furnishing my new home @ stay safe during this pandemic!
Most charming/knowlagable salesman anywhere. Legendary comfort & quality. La-Z-Boy 10 Stars ********** We got 2 matching Rowan Leather Recliners.
Clean up good service. I bought a chair. I do not like the policy that made me pay $1000 for a delivery instead of picking it up myself in store.
First time in a La-Z-Boy store. Had a great experience. I'll continue to buy my Furniture here. Thank you Mr Kevin Sorrels for your assistance.
The service was great and the quality of the furniture far exceeded what we saw at other furniture stores we shopped at in the area!
I’m not sure which is worse - the sectional they sold us that’s been falling apart since day 1, or the awful customer service.
Sales was not pushy. Explained everything and any additional details. He was upfront about delivery time. Left there happy.
Great experience buying our dream sectional. Stella was fun, efficient and knows her craft! Highly recommend this place!
I was really pleased with the service at the LaZyboy store on I35 highway in Austin. My chair should arrive on April 29.
Wonderful Girls working here,I wouldn't go anywhere else to buy furniture, they made my experience fun and very helpful
Larry Lust was a great salesmen! He gave us his honest opinions and was never pushing us to a decision. Thanks, Larry!
The sofa sleeper is very comfortable, easy to set up, and the movers were very experienced in what they were doing!
Good experience. Our sales representative, Peter, was very knowledgeable, courteous and provided great assistance!
Peter Bennett is a very knowledgeable sales consultant and I’m sure he must be a valued asset to your company.
Excellent store, well maintained, very clean, friendly, well trained staff and designers. Great experience.
Kevin was fantastic...patient and knowledgeable in helping me select the right product. It was a pleasure.
I had a great experience. Everything was clean and orderly even with the ongoing reopening of the economy.
Very pleasant experience. Thoroughly professional and attentive staff, Peter. My very first recliner!
Dan Z. was most helpful and very thorough. Great experience and looking forward to my new recliner.
Courteous, professional, friendly, social distancing was used, and provided good customer service.
Very nice showroom with quality furniture. No pressure from salespeople. Great buying experience.
Nice staff but no option to pick up the furniture yourself and a required $180 fee to deliver…..
