I never write reviews like this but I had one of the worst experiences here. They are so greedy for money - refusing to give me a refund or offering to remake to food despite my peanut allergy. I ordered a Vietnamese salad bowl and after waiting 15 or so minutes it came out covered in peanuts. I told them that I had an allergy to peanuts and no where on the menu did it say the bowl had peanuts (pictured). There was no offer to remake the bowl, no offers to refund, the only option they provided me was to “pick off the peanuts”. I asked for a refund and server said he had to call the owner, which was fine. After 10 minutes of waiting, they proceeded to tell me he cannot offer me a refund or remake the food and that it was my fault that I did not tell the server of my allergy. The server never asked if I had any allergies. I told him that nowhere in the menu it said there was peanuts in the salad bowls or any other food. He looked at the menu, stumbled over his words and then proceeded to provide a counter argument of “all Vietnamese food have peanuts”. Yes, I am aware that a lot of Viet food has peanuts however I have been to many other Viet restaurants that have either listed the ingredients (which outlines peanuts) or have said something about peanuts as it is a very common allergy. I told him it was not my fault that I could not eat the bowl, I had not touched the bowl and how was I meant to know that there were peanuts on it. He eventually acknowledged that it was not my fault but still refused to provide me a refund. He asked if I could wait another 10 minutes for the owner to come in and talk to her but by this point I had already wasted 35 minutes at this place and I did not have time to wait around as I had appointment to make. So I left with no refund. Absolutely horrible service. At the very least I hope they place up a sign so no one else has to deal with this and waste their money.

Little Baguette is literally my go-to spot for authentic Vietnamese cuisine. I frequently visited the store for Viet food and the prices are so reasonable for the quality and quantity of food I receive. Several days ago, I came to buy a birthday cake for my nephew. It was so challenging for me to choose one since I was mesmerized by the sheer beauty of every cake there. All of them had a distinctive symphony of colours, textures, and intricate design that left me in awe. The attention to detail was impeccable, and it was clear that the baker is a true artisan. I finally chose a Jurassic Delight: Dinosaur-Themed Cake with customizable options to make my cake a unique one. The cake itself was rich and decadent, with a deep chocolate flavour that was perfectly complemented by the creamy cookies and cream filling. It was a delightful combination that catered to both kids and adults. The sweetness was well-balanced, and the texture was moist and tender. The chocolate sponge was moist and velvety, and the cookies and cream filling provided a delightful contrast in texture, adding a bit of crunch and creaminess. Each bite was a harmonious blend of flavours and textures. While a cake like this may come at a slightly higher price point, the craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the sheer joy it brings to special occasions make it worth every penny. I will definitely return for more sweets and cakes for future occasions. Love it!

easily my favourite viet bakery ever!! banh mi is delicious, goi cuon is astronomically tasty, but the real star of the show is the pandan cake. it’s seriously so hard to to find in brissy so finding it so close was amazing!! perfectly fluffy and soft, not too sweet. i personally prefer my pandan cake without icing but little baguette managed to convert me!! the only issue is that it would be awesome if you could buy slices of pandan cake as well as the roll because having a whole roll of cake in the house is dangerous!! the staff are so lovely as well, super accommodating and efficient and always happy and smiling. we come here so often!!

The Little Baguette's Red Velvet Birthday Cake is a true masterpiece. From its visually stunning appearance to the irresistible flavors, every bite was pure bliss. The moist, velvety cake combined with the perfect balance of cocoa and cream cheese frosting created a harmonious explosion of taste. The Little Baguette's dedication to quality ingredients and exceptional customer service only added to the delightful experience. If you're seeking an extraordinary cake that will make your celebration unforgettable, The Little Baguette is the place to go. Highly recommended!

Overall been eating here for the past 5 years back when they where placed where the toddlers play area is now in front of the asian supermarket. Well worth the wait for their banh mi's and Pho's. They are priced well I always feel like I get my moneys worth when ordering from them and the quality mostly stays the same each time. The key is to get them to toast the Banh mi's or order extra noodles for the Pho. If your looking for value for dollars this is a great little place to eat. P.S. Try their viet coffee works brilliantly with spicy banh mi.

I got uber eats the food was good but I ordered two rice paper rolls and only got one. Im not sure who is at fault here the restaurant or uber but I think it was the restaurant as my uber bag was stapled shut so the food couldn’t be tampered with. The food was very good though

Have been here twice. One for crispy pork baguette, one for beef slice pho. Baguette is amazing and flavoursome, full of fillings with generous portion. However Pho is the worst one, the broth is totally bland, just with water and salt, only three pieces of beef slice, little garnish and a cube of lemon…. From the shop name, you should better only try their signature baguette……

I work in the centre and buy their bahn min for lunch every now and then. Bahn mi was normally good until my last visit. The corianda and carrot inside the bahn mi was obviously stale, and the corianda was brownish and dry. This was the only time I didn’t finish the bahn mi and didn’t buy it anymore. Hopefully it has been improved now.

I got the Classic Banh Mi and the ice tea. The Banh Mi had lots of flavour with a decent amount of veg as well. The ice tea was not sweet which is perfect if you don’t like your tea sweet. I really enjoyed it! It’s well priced for the area and staff are lovely! I wish I found this bakery gem a long time ago. Banh Mi craving satisfied!

Used to come here for the pork bellly bahn mi. The last two times I have been so disappointed. The roll is more of a baguette size and flavour rather than the traditional bahn mi roll (also a baguette). The pork was really fatty also. Not sure what's going on but something has changed. Long time customer no longer returning.

You know, I’m really disappointed… I love the rice paper rolls and always eat them when I pass by but to be handed something that has clearly and so obviously aged tells me that the food isn’t fresh here. Please do something about this. It’s my first meal of the day and eating this makes me sad.

We got a carrot cake and cherry ripe slice. Carrot cake was soooo dry, it tasted like cardboard- obviously, it was probably bacause it was on display for a long time. The cream on top tasted bad. The cherry ripe slice had gelatin texture. We paid $7 for each slice. It's sooo disappointing!

This place has the freshest bahn mi i have tasted in Brisbane. Rolls as super fresh, crispy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. Made to order. Can’t comment on other menus items as only ever ordered the bahn mi

Had the best experience today at Little Baguette. Not only were the staff amazing but the food was too. I had the rice paper rolls, they were so fresh and tasty. I will definitely be going back there when I’m at indro next. I think I’ll try the Chicken Vietnamese Salad next.

  • Colleen Vaccaro

Their cakes, pastries and savoury foods are delicious. Easily the highest quality bakery in the area. Their cakes are not as sweet as other places so you can really enjoy the selected flavour. My go to bakery for a treat and special events.

Love this place. Tiny, unassuming, but lots of choices of tasty, not-too-heavy Vietn. meals, breads and drinks. (I've been on a year-long health kick that's dropped 20 pounds -- this is one of the few take-aways I've never had to give up.)

  • Alyssa Susanto

Surprised by the freshness of the rice paper rolls here! I had the prawn and avocado, both were really generously filled and really hit the spot. There was no mushroom rolls in stock but I would love to try those next time!

  • Lauren Marino

For a quick takeout or meal while grabbing groceries the chicken pho is fantastic! So aromatic and fresh and the chicken is so soft. Great flavour and excellent value too at $14.50 a bowl.

  • pelin Tatlidil

I’m very disappointed with the cake this time. It was full of buttercream, essence of bread. Couldn’t eat it, had to chuck it in the bin. Their bahnmi sandwiches are good …

  • Preethy George

I had previously been here and had good food but this time the roast pork banh mi was a let down! The soy chicken bun bowl was still good though.

  • Vu Thanh Ho Nguyen

I can’t recommend highly enough their cakes. It tasted amazing adorn with beautiful decoration. Make sure you grab one for your special occasion.

  • Chris Sanchez

Only tried their traditional pork banh mi; bread was excellent and filling was decent but a bit light on the greens, pate & sauce

  • ken brown

Excellent version of a red velvet cake for a reasonable price and nicely decorated. The pies are also tasty. Friendly staff.
